Lyre removed her glove from her right hand and arm and held it up. "Why was it burning," she asked herself quietly as she looked at the swirling patterns that ran from the back of her hand up her arm.

Noticing the others beginning to get distracted, Voidrune decided it would be best to withdraw before they began to question who he was. Edging towards the river, he moved gradually out of their line of sight, hoping they wouldn't notice his departure.

Tommy nodded when each and members who was there showed them mark to him but he had no idea is Valerius but he didn't stopped him from wondering more about the people who had the mark, while Voidrune left Tommy didn't follow him being he understand the quest for alone time. While looking around the camp he did wonder something about them but needed to show his mark to the rest of them as well, taking off his shirt to show them his mark on his chest. Once all were able to see it he put back on his shirt and spoke to who was still there, "Have you been attack by demons a lot because I have for some reason as well?" While he wonder if they were he also wanted to practice so he hope they answer him soon.

Ventus threw his chained sickle at Voidrune trapping his feet then dragging him to the ground. "You call us comrades then sneak off as though you were some apparition of the night. Now That means you either kill for a living or steal for a living and since I'm the latter I know you're the former." he lets him go then tosses him three of his own daggers. "Sorry mate I did say I'm a thief."

Maximus shook his head slowly and said, "Most demons avoid me." He blinked as he watched the thief. "Well. At least you didn't take my staff." He said to the thief.

Irked at the thief, Voidrune jumped onto his feet, drawing a dagger as he did so, lunging foward and stopping the blade upon contact with Ventus' neck. Having proved his point, he decided to drop the guise. "Yes, I kill for a living. It's all I've ever known, and all I ever will know. I've said I'm willing to work with you, so back off!" He growled, digging the blade of his dagger into the flesh of Ventus' throat, causing a trickle of blood to seep down his neck. Yashamaru Takeshio Ventus threw his chained sickle at Voidrune trapping his feet then dragging him to the ground. "You call us comrades then sneak off as though you were some apparition of the night. "Relax if I wanted to hurt you I would." he raised his hands in surrender "Just don't like it when people try to slink away from me." he said as he casually pushed the blade from his throat. " 'Sides we pretty much do the same thing 'cept I do a little less killin' and a lot more takin'." Ventus said in an amused tone happy to finally have someone to "play" with.

Stated Voidrune, an amused look on his face as he considered the fun he could have with this....odd man. "I must say, sir, you make for a very...intriguing character."

"Well, I bid you all a good day." Maximus said dipping his head slightly in a bow, before he turned and headed back towards his house. While watching them was interesting, he left a book unread in his house. That and he wanted to get some food soon.

Oh well." he shrugged and 'wandered' away towards the river. Watching the thief warily, Voidrune began wandering around the battlefield, retrieving as many throwing knives as he could. Knives of such fine make are often difficult to get your hands on, and liable to cost quite a pretty penny once you found some. Thinking back to the mage he saw, Voidrune wondered about the possibility of getting the knives enchanted so that he wouldn't have to retrieve them. Really, the assassin had been considering it for a while now, but only after this...interesting encounter did it seem to be a real possibility.

Ventus landed in a low hanging branch over-looking the river just above a white haired girl staring at her arm. "Hey. What's a cute girl like you doin all by her lonesome?"

Lyre jumped and drew her sword faster than a normal person could. She was on her feet in seconds, ready to attack. She had forgotten her glove and shoes.

While Tommy seen the interplay between the thief and assassin he was glad it didn't go very fair because he know his mark would react if they push it too far but once they were done and walking to different area now so this made him ready to do whatever he wanted to do now, "Bye everybody." He then headed toward a tent because he wanted to repair his weapons but since he had no which tents he had to look in all of them to find the blacksmith one.
