Jil felt confident in the test at the start. Unfortunately she'd never taken a test at Amity before and wasn't expecting all the... distractions. Between cheating students, alumni, minipets, codes and spells... she ended up distracted and scatter brained. And angry. Mellow was kinda regretted to sign up for the house cup, he never like quizs or exams, intelligence was never his thing. Picking a random seat, the grumpy pony hadn't recovered yet from the fact that a ghoul got past him in the obstacle race. He was so confident in running, but yet he lost. Sitting on the uncomfortable chair, the ceffyl dwr just wished this quiz can be ended quickly so that he could go back to his own corner at the demon booth, continued to murmur about his failure history. Unluckily, opposed to his wish, Amityville quiz was never an easy and normal one. Obviously, the shortie didn't pay attention on what it was called - the chop quiz. Thus, when all the weapons appeared at his small little cubicles, Mellow was shocked. He could just rubbed his eyes many times to confirm he wasn't dreaming. They were there, grinning in shimmery for him. Jacking. He was about to read the questions wen he heard a big noise of BOOM. Before he lost his consciousness, he realized something hit him by his head. When he woke up again, he found a pamphlet of numbers underneath him. "....." What was that? Where's his previous booklet? Then, he felt something stingy on his skin. He looked up and found a little floating fluffy in dark grey, glowy yellow lightnings were shooting off from it onto his body. Nope. After the numbers, he would like to take a break, but the questions for next section was given. "You have 30 minutes for this section." He quickly scanned through the text and found that it was all about the human world. Human world was such a distant concept for Mellow. He can't even manage how to be a prefect ceffyl dwr. So he was clueless on the answers. Was he lucky? He thought when he was pinned on the wall. The next section was literature. The pony took a quick glance and closed it. Nope. He decided to give up, hope that no demons would find out. "This is the last section, you may begin." The voice was like the most beautiful contract to a demon. The MC questions were all answered with "A" and the space was all filled with his rants about why creeple called him a cutie or the fact that he hated them pulling his ears and tail. He also mentioned the helplessness he felt when innocents ghouls shattered his pride. The wall of text made his booklet meaningful. In others' eyes, it might seem that the pony did the quiz well. A test huh? Hayes wasn't too big on taking tests or studying at all for that matter but the idea of getting to compete against others and see who was the top dog was just too big of an opportunity for the ghost boil to pass up. Of course he had taken his sweet time getting to the quiz. His glowing red eyes scanned the paper that was laid before him and slowly filled it out. It must have been an agonizing amount of time for everyone else but rushing himself or the things he was doing just wasn't his style. His ears hung without concern as he blocked out all the other noises around him, which wasn't very many.
After what was short of forever Hayes had completed the quiz for the History portion and was surprised to see it glowing in front of him. A cocky smile made it's way to his features for a split second before he put up an unreadable mask once more. Who the hell knew he could do so well in history. He felt proud and almost wanted to gloat to himself but instead focused his attention on the other four tests. "Just getting started." He huffed, a toothy grin finally showing--and staying--on his lips.Quote: Student Name: Hayes Carter Section 1: 10 Section 2: Section 3: Section 4: Section 5: Points Total: Did you remember to use your Int Stat: Did you use your Luck Stat:

Now this was something she could do. Tests were her thing, and no matter who she believed herself to be, this was always the accepted constant. When the Chop Quiz was announced, Amrita had made her way towards the testing area and took a seat, positively brimming with confidence. She could do this, but more than that, she could make her dorm proud.
The first section was completed with ease, and Amrita sat back to stare down at the perfection at her desk. The second section was a lot worse, and it wasn't entirely her fault - she had, instead of actually writing the test, ended up being dropped down a trap door. It took a greater part of section two to just get above ground again, and the displeasure was clear on her features.
Luckily, the next subject was fairly easy for her; Human World Studies. She had spoken to enough near-humans to get an idea, and even though someone had written half of the test questions in either code or a foreign language, she felt like she had done fairly decently. Literature was probably one of her best subjects, considering she read quite a bit, and was not particularly surprised to find another glowingly perfect answer sheet in front of her.
The last section though, general knowledge? That gave her some trouble. Mostly because she couldn't understand the question - and when she tried to read it out loud she found herself more or less attacked. Hooded figures had her by the arms and attempted to drag her off, apparently not realizing that neither of these things ever sat well with her. The moment the hands grabbed her, she stilled. It seemed like every one of her muscles tensed, and in that same moment she turned her head, staring with a strangely icy calm at her apparent attackers. She didn't scream, she didn't cry for help, but she did set her lips into an extremely unimpressed line.
The hooded figures managed to get her two spaces from her desk before she broke free enough to lash out, her fist meeting one of the figures' faces while the other hooded one received a very well placed knee to the groin. It was enough to make them let go, but she was sure to leave a few parting punches just to ensure they stayed away. The icy calm from the undead remained as the figures eagerly gave up and crawled off, some a little closer to the ground than others, and she returned to her desk as if nothing happened.
Except, perhaps, this section had a little more blood on it than the others.

Written tests? Well, Frost wasn't going to enjoy this. He loathed it honestly, if only because after the race and ghosts coming out on top- His spectral blood was still pumping. He wanted more physical activities, more stress on his body, not on his mind. He was a leader by power not by cunning. At least thats what he thought of himself, so it wasn't a very fair judgement call, (if he was leader material at all). The first section, Halloween History wasn't so bad, perhaps because it was all that 'blood' rushing to his head that helped, but Frost did manage a fair enough time on it he felt. Semi confident with his questions. Plus, language wasn't too hard to uncode- Not after ancient Loruleian and Hylian. After that he had math and just- Frost didn't numbers. He just didn't. He didn't even try. Then came Human world- He thought he'd know this but quickly enough, it was apparent that he knew nothing. Nothing John Frost. Nothing at all. It was only after a slight ghostly creep and peek at a nearby student's paper that Frost felt okay with his answer before moving to the next section. Literature was semi difficult, if because he just didn't read so much as tell and listen. Lore was oral in his home, and even a year after the fact had him making faces at some books. And what some people wrote and drew in the margins. He was sure a dragon's anatomy wasn't like that. Or bent that way. Really, a person could at least try to be accurate. A sneeze he didn't notice that someone was tossing dust all over- and turning everyonw tiny. Of course when his pen-snake became disgustingly huge it was hard to ignore. It slithered from his grasp, curling up on the floor, too cold to really go anywhere. It took a while to regain normal size, but once Frost was normal again- He was staring at his paper, slowly trying to see if he could will himself to eat it and claim it was instinct. This urge lessened with general studies- a broader catch all allowed more variance, variances that Frost was rather lucky with. Code didn't matter- he was able to decode them alright, and pass through it feeling his confidence return just a bit. By the end, Frost just sat in a fluffed angry huff. When did things get physical again? He really doubted that if there was more test taking he'd even want to linger. Plus exams started to look like something of a tasty treat after so long alone in a cubical... Efflo hated quizzes, and after his lackluster performance in the obstacle course, his excitement had pretty much dwindled to nil. Shuffling to his place, he sorted through the papers, and picked up his penstrictor to begin writing. A student he didn't recognize seemed to have other plans, however, and a strange fascination with Efflo’s ears. Efflo flicked his ears in irritation, but it was to no avail. It took a threatening kick to deter the annoying Alumni, but finally he gave up, and Efflo was free to continue his test. He turned back to read the paper, but to his surprise, and further annoyance, none of the questions made sense. He shook his head, and tried reading them but it only served to hurt his eyes, the pain only growing until suddenly he couldn’t see at all. Silently he cursed his two-legged, eye-having form. By the time he finally regained his eyesight, he’d lost track of his pen. Fortunately, it hadn’t lost track of him, the now foot-long pen-snake eyeing him hungrily. Efflo glared at it, he didn’t have the time or patience for serpent shenanigans. Efflo wrestled briefly with the pen, before giving it a stamp with his foot and finally encouraging it to behave. Thankfully, the next section went by in a blur, Efflo almost feeling as though someone else was taking the quiz for him. It was kind of nice. The last section made no sense at all, and since Efflo was a horse and not a goat, he had no interest in the piece of bark. He turned in the rest of his test, and discarded the piece of wood. Quote: Zar sat down in the exam hall and got to work on the quiz, more confident this time around than he was on the obstacle course. As he laid his hands on the paper, he was worried to find that he couldn't actually feel the words in his mind. He had to assume it was wards on the paper itself because the alternative was that he was losing his touch in fairly literal ways. The quiz itself was reasonable, the only section that he completely failed at was human studies when in the process of answering it, he got completely knocked out. Which was a shame really, considering that he probably could have most adeptly filled that part in. All in all he wasn't too displeased with how it turned out. Once he was patched up from the myriad punishments. Student Name: Zar Points Total: 25 + 10 int = 35 Did you remember to use your Int Stat: 10 Did you use your Luck Stat: Nope

Wet Willy had Mikey laughing, and the alumni may have distracted him, but it was poor Wet Willy trying to get away from the friendly werewolf in the end. The rest of the test went by in a sort of gas-induced, shrunken haze kind of blur until Mikey finally managed to rouse himself out of it, looking down at his filled out papers and wondering how that had managed to happen. Glancing it over, he was pretty sure most of the answers might even be right. Cool. As soon as Monty stepped back into the stadium and saw the cubicles he knew whatever was next at least wasn't going to be physical, "Yes!" he let out a sigh of relief as he walked into the nearest cubical. He took his seat in the not so comfortable desk and started reading the pamphlet, "What the hell? Who's stupid idea was it to make us do school work?" He had just finished saying to himself when the booth seemed to come to life as he looked around and saw everything pointing at him "Oh just ******** great." As he sat there and started to fill out his quiz section on History it took him a little bit to figure out some of the more coded questions but he managed to do pretty well, at least he thought so. Next the math section "UGH I HATE MATH" he yelled as he looked at the questions "what the hell these aren't even in the a language. Are they?" he drowned on as he started to mumble the stuff out loud. But soon stopped as one of his eyes started to quickly melt. "OHHH.. Just ******** great... Now I got to go find another damn eyeball off some corpse." Moving to the Human studies section Monty was getting more and more frustrated at this quiz and having to sit in the uncomfortable desk with plenty of things waiting to hurt you didn't help the situation. He was doing ok on the human section till he got near the end, when once again the weird language appeared. Thinking twice before he read it out loud he just sat there looking at it mumbling to himself not speaking a word. But apparently just reading the words and moving your mouth was bad enough. By the time he got done reading one question the little human things on the page started to move in some crazy ways. He got so distracted watching them he didn't finish the last few questions. Moving to the lit. section of the quiz proved to have it's own challenges with now only having 1 eye left and no spare on him to pop into the open socket it was hard for Monty to read the text. Putting his head down on his desk "This is so stupid!" He sat back up grabbing the quiz. He looked around and noticed that the ghoul to his side had already answered Most of her Lit. questions. He leaned over to the side trying not to be noticed and was able to get a glance at a few of her answers before she caught him. She glared at him picking up her pencil and throwing it at him as hard as she could. he glared back and stuck out his tongue and finished writing down the last answer. He was doing quite well on the general studies portion of the quiz, even though some of the questions he was sure never even applied to Amityville before but he made up a answer and moved on. He managed to get to the last page without anything happening. That was till he read the first question. "What is the proper way to back a tentacle soup?" Just as he was about to put his answer he could smell what he could of swore was the aroma of the soup fill the air. He leaned back filled the last answer in, and took a deep breath "Great now I'm hungry." he said as he slammed the quiz pamphlet shut. Victoria felt ready for the next challenge; she had always considered herself more book smart than street smart since so much of her time was spent with her face buried in a good book... Then again, should she be worried about the fact that she hadn't actually attended many classes or done much studying since her arrival at Amityville?
The first section confused her greatly, and she could feel her self-confidence slipping away as she tried to answer the seemingly random questions. It was like someone got a team of gnomes to put this together the night before, and they just copied random quiz questions off the interweb. As she was starting on the answer to the second question, she found herself falling, the floor under her chair having given way.
By the time she managed to get out of the deep pit she was dropped into, the ghost had to move onto section two of the quiz. What looked like simple math questions at first glance was... Isn't this too complicated? She paused, squinting at the paper before turning it over, realizing that all the sections looked similar. Is this even math-
She didn't get to finish the thought, as lightning struck her, and knocked her out. When she came to, she had given up on math, and moved onto the next section. Unfortunately, she was dropped back into the pit before she could even get a single complete answer in.
Thankfully, she managed to make up for her past failures on the literature section, doing especially well on questions to do with fanfiction. After all, she was one of those students who would often use the school computers to read and write fanfiction... Who knew that her hobby would one day help her with answering a quiz?
On a roll, she blazed through the final section, more concerned with the quantity of answers than the quality.Quote: Student Name: Victoria Points Total: 2+3+2+(5+4)+7=23 Did you remember to use your Int Stat: Yes Did you use your Luck Stat: No

Thanatos was pretty sure that this was not a quiz. This was more like torture in the guise of a quiz, judging by the amount of... Dangerous weapons taking aim at the seat.
Picking up the pen, he began filling in the questions, doing relatively well until he found a question that made no sense; it wasn't even in the same language as everything else. Attempting to read it only caused a mob of minipets to appear out of nowhere, and he spent the rest of the time allocated to section one prying minipets off his face.
Math was something he was decent at, but he already knew that this was not your normal quiz. It was as abnormal as Amityville itself. In fact, it was so abnormal that they allowed someone into the cubicle, and he was being distracting and highly annoying.
As he moved on to the next section, he became aware that someone from the next cubicle was watching him... Or rather, watching his paper from a hole in the cubicle wall. He wasn't even sure when or how that hole came about.
... Is this a crayon drawing?
He stared at it for a few seconds before ignoring it with a sigh, pausing when his paper started to smell like food when the final section, apparently about cooking, was revealed. While knowing very little about cooking, he managed to finish the paper, and quickly left.Quote: Student Name: Thanatos Points Total: 5 + (1+5) + 4 + 8 + (2+4) = 29 Did you remember to use your Int Stat: Yes Did you use your Luck Stat: No
