It's rather late, isn't it?
Ace continued to stand there out in the open, focused solely on keeping the building up, his expression strained. Dammit, these people needed to hurry up and get out of there! He couldn't hold it forever! This thing was heavy and complex, and it was already testing his limits.
And of course, someone just had to make things even more difficult for him by creating a frickin' earthquake. Black Adam's actions really weren't helping, either. After a few moments, Ace just sat down on the ground so he wouldn't have to worry about falling over and losing his focus. However, he happened to notice that some other nearby buildings were crumbling. He knew for a fact that the nearest one, which was considerably smaller than the others, had a daycare on the ground floor. Oh god, those kids....
Quickly, he split his attention to keep that building up with his telekinesis as well. Damn his soft spot for kids! Straining himself so much was starting to give him an awful headache. He would only hold it until all of the people were out. That's all. After that, he could let the buildings crumble and get back to his usual villainous behavior. Just for a few minutes.
Location: Skies Queensland Park With: Superboy, and Black Adam Feeling: Battle
While he may have been waiting for Black Adam's responsive action, he did not expect the male to do that. Watching as the building was severed due to Black Adam's strength, Wonder Boy finished placing the lasso on his hip just as it was tossed towards the ground. Immediately, he began to fly down after it, only to have Superboy catch and lower the building slowly onto its side to save those within. After which, he had begun lowering people Superboy pulled out of the building onto the ground. Landing on the ground himself, he began to have them jump into his arms before placing them down. However, as he watched Black Adam speed towards Superboy, Wonder Boy's feet pressed in hard against the ground. As his feet continued to press into the ground, the ground directly beneath him began to crack under pressure before he took off, flying directly into Superboy like a bullet, thus essentially taking them both a little ways from Black Adam's created destruction. Superboy would undoubtedly hate him for a little bit because he could not save the civilians, but the male would have to learn that not everything went according to plan.
After allowing the male to float in the air once again, he spoke up. "Superboy, if he's going to keep this up your going to have to get serious. If you don't only more will get killed. If you wish for less casualties, fight to stop him completely." spoke Wonder Boy as he landed on the ground near an overturned city bus. It had been abandoned, and within moments, it was up above his head before being tossed directly at Black Adam. If it missed, the bus would explode upon contact with the ground because of its engine, and other parts being smashed together, but it was more of an attack to give Superboy time. With the voice calling out insults at Black Adam, hopefully the male would focus on the voice before noticing the bus.
Alan had just finished summoning the Spear of Destiny from the House of Mystery when all hell began to break loose. "A man's work was never done." He muttered to himself. That's when he felt the demon's magic killing others that weren't the vampire. That was an easy fix as he focused some more of his magical powers on her to maintaining his will the demon woman would slowly start feel a burn surge through her body as the familiar grips of hell called for her. 'Stupid woman. You think you can treat this like some contract you can twist your way out of. I made no deal with you, I put you under my will. Now stop fulling around with the Amazons kill the vampire or I banish you back to hell.'
That's when he felt the building shake from an earthquake. As he regained his balance he returned his attention to the task at hand. He would not have time to deal with whatever was causing it for he would first need to get the spear to one of the super powered heroes. Luckily for him his chance was given to him when Wonderboy and Superboy flew into the air away from Black Adam. Alan took a moment to link his mind with Wonderboy and whispered a teleportation spell into the spear, so it would materialize into the hero's hand. He then sent a mental message to Wonderboy. 'Yo princess this is your sexy conscious speaking. Listen to me you are wielding an incredibly divine and magical spear you can use it to cut Black Adam, make the b*****d bleed with it and I can promise you that the arrogant b*****d will no longer be a problem for the city and you can focus on whoever is causing these earthquakes.'
Figuring Wonderboy would get the message, Alan decided he would begin preparing the spell. Reaching into his trenchcoat, he pulled out the same thaumaturgy talisman he was going to use on Vera. She would be pissed at him for using it for something else but he could always get another elsewhere.

Just so you know Wonderboy would sense the inherent magical properties of the spear just from holding it.

"How did it come down to this?" Raoul thought as he pulled needles out of his chest. " Where did these even come from?" He couldn't grasp what had just happened, one minute he was calling upon the wind and firing at the rooftops, and then these needles came out of nowhere and decided to use him as a pincushion. What was even weirder was that they were coated in blood. Human blood. It was obvious whoever did this did it against their will if they had them go through humans before they hit him. "I need to cause some distractions. Let's see what the heroes think of a little breeze headed there way, shall we?" He asked himself.
" Hear me wind! Hear my call! Dancing in the sky... Shaping the clouds... Whispering to the heavens... Hear my plea and send your gale!" Wind began to pick up and it turned into another miniature tornado. Once it was to the size he wanted, he sent it straight down the street in front of him. Suddenly he felt the ground begin to shake beneath him. "Ce dracu'?!" He asked in his native tongue. The ground continued to shake and it was a bit unsettling for Raoul. Jumping in the air he hovered over the ground. "I have to get out of here, or I'll be crushed." He thought. And with that he left his current location to cause aerial attacks in the sky, being mindful that he could be shot down at anytime by anyone. "All I have to do is stay on alert and not stay in one place for too long and I'll be fine." He thought to himself.
And then it accord to him, " Hey, it's sunny outside... Oh, no! Why did I do this?!" This now was officially the worst idea he'd ever had. " Great, now I need to go find some shade, or the sun's just going to keep bugging me! Only downfall to being a vampire. Curses." So now Raoul goes to look for shade that would keep him hidden from everyone. " This is gonna be a joy." He thought angrily as he continued to look for some shade.
"I want to hide the truth, I want to shelter you, But with the beast inside, there's nowhere we can hide."
Thankfully the teen had gotten away, but not for long. Alistair watched in awe as the guy suddenly sprung into action and kept the now crumbling building from falling apart even further. He was shocked to say the least! It seemed he wasn't so helpless after all. It was then that Al snapped back to reality himself and after shaking his head back and forth a few times, he ran towards the building. Utilizing his meta-human genes to the fullest, he ran towards the daycare building as fast as he could to get the remainingg civilians out.
It wasn't long until he reached the inside of the toppling building at by the looks of it there were only a few civilians remaining. So few in fact that it would only take one trip to get them out. And so, with the plan set in his head, he got to work. Spotting the first person, he slung the person over his shoulder, before moving on to the two kids. "Quick, one of you hop onto my back!" Alistair exclaimed. Nodding, one of the two jumped onto his back as told, before Al picked up the other one. Now it was time to get the heck out of there. "Hang on tight!"
With only moments remaining, Alistair sprinted out of the building just in the nick of time and before they knew it, he and the civilians had finally made it out. Once outside, the male set down them down, before turning his attention back to the black-haired guy from earlier, nodding. It was a signal to him that he could let the buildings go without harming any more people.

{{ENTER from Atlantis}} Vandal returned to Metropolis in the same fashion he had left it. Teleported suddenly to some location he had no knowledge of. After satisfying himself with exploring any part of the castle that had been left open or left unguarded, Vandal had found one of the sorcerers that was supposed to provide him with transportation out of Atlantis. He had asked to be taken to a spot that would be out of the way of the battle. One that would still be "in" the zone the Yellow Lantern had planned for the battle to be... but one that wasn't in the middle of a horde of Amazons or anything of that sort.
So there Vandal stood, on the outskirts of the Park, carefully observing his surroundings. On his belt were several long seethed daggers, one of which had a more decorative, Atlantean handle. On his back was a large, round Atlantean shield. Under which, was a large sack that looked to be filled with various sized objects. Guns, kryptonite, weapons, things that Vandal had never seen before... and things that Vandal had last seen on ancient ships that had never reached their destination. Since there were little to no guards about, and he had been in no hurry to jump into the brawl as most of the others had, Vandal had... helped himself to what he could. If this all fell through, it wasn't likely that he'd be back in Atlantis any time soon. Besides... all he had were his daggers when he had been called to this. Hardly the sort of thing needed to combat Amazons.
Vandal stood where he was for a few moments, trying to assess the situation right now. He was out of harms way for the moment, and mostly out of sight. To his surprise most of the buildings around the park were still intact. Most... not all. At least it wasn't his building. He still had... irreplaceable items in his home that he needed to have moved out. But he wasn't going to head off for his home until he was sure that it was safe to, or at least find where they kryptonians and flying wrecking balls were at right now.

As he continued helping civilians onto the surface of the building, he was thankful that Wonder Boy was also helping. However, as he exited the building with a mother and daughter in his hands, Wonder Boy slammed directly into him in order to save him from what was to come. That which came after was not a pretty sight, and as the ground was destroyed, his eyes looked on in horror at the dead bodies below. The innocent civilians who had called him their savior were now lifeless, unable to say another word to anyone. Had Wonder Boy not said something to calm him down, the strength being used to hold the mother and daughter's hands tighter would have broken the bones in their hands. When Wonder Boy went for the bus, Superboy took the two about three blocks away before setting them down with instructions to run as far away as possible. Now, things had been taken too far, and there would be no forgiving Black Adam for his actions.
For a brief moment, his eyes flashed red, but the sounds of what seemed to be kids in danger caused them to return to their normal blue color. Within moments, he would have been at the building which had recently been cleared by the blonde male. Given the look that the other male had from apparently holding the building for a while, Superboy chose to ease the strain on the boy's body. Landing on the ground besides the building itself, he called out to the male. "You can let go now." With that, Superboy ripped out one of the beams supporting the building itself before hurling it in Black Adam's direction, giving the male two things to avoid on each side.
OOC: Not much to go on without a reply from Luke, sorry ^^ In short, you've got a bus flying at you from one direction, and a steel beam from the other.

Wither or not the earthquake was completely natural or not, well, it all depended on what people could sense. Though, with all these hero's and villians around jumping to such a conclusion really wasn't all that daring. The building Agrona was in, being in the dead center of her quake would crumble. She wasn't scared though, nothing would fall on her with her magic. Instead the debris would remain airborne with her magic. Her form would still remain cloaked from the rest not because she was masking herself, but because of the dust in the air.
Her magic began to fill the area, affecting at the moment the clothes around her. Really, what she was wearing was not suiting at all for a witch. Black robes wrapped around her from, leaving her legs exposed though with slits on the side. Slowly she raised her arms from her side, the opal on her neck glowing brightly even through the dust. The second her hands extended outward all of the dust and debris would fly away from her in all directions. If Teth really was a God he could handle himself so she wasn't going to worry too much about him, she didn't even really know quite where he was at the moment anyways. With the tornado in the area some of the debris was likely to get caught in it, raising the deadly potential.
With the debris gone as well as the dust, she would finally be there for all to see. Cold emotionless eyes would pierce down anyone who caught a glimpse of her. Slight smirk on her face her arms fell back down to her side. The bodies as well as their confused souls hovering about in the chaos was just perfect. Speaking in a strange tongue (celtic) she would mutter softly. Raise and do my bidding., well that would be a rough translation. There was more words weaved in the mix. One they were uttered a wave of energy would pass over the area once the spell was cast. Bodies of the dead began to get back on their feet.
Play time was just beginning.
OOC: yeah debris flying out in all directions aka probably at everyone (not targeting anyone but its debris of a building... usually tends to be pretty big so have fun with that xP posted listening to this
Sofia thought she could have survived Alan's plan, but it seems he was as well prepared for that. She felt her skin melt slowly under the burning sensation of being brought back to hell. She couldnt go just yet, she had planned many things before doing so, also that she had to fight here and such. This man is really getting on my nerves.....At least Raoul noticed why im lacking activity.... she thought with a sigh before doing if she dared say the most idiotic thing ever. She stretched her hand towards Alan, her skin smoking through her suit already revealing bruises from her actions. Her claws aiming at his neck. I wont be slave of anyone, not even God... she groaned as she reached his neck, her arm already in pure flesh as dark energy emerged from her hand. She chanted in satanic language as a small drop fell into his chest, a corruption drop. Lets see who is the real priest in this church of hell you live in. she laughed wickedly as she allowed her body to reject him, pushing her over the roof because of the will break, falling into the hard ground and groaning in pain from her injured arm but with a smile. If the drop actually was actually effective, then Alan would be hearing lots of negative thoughts and corrupting ideas coming from himself, although his actions were still his, his mind was going to need an exorsism pronto.

Everything around him seemed to have gone to hell. First Superboy threw a steel beam at Black Adam while Wonderboy threw an empty bus, then a tornado was ripping through the area by Edward Cullen. And then the dead seemed to rise. Leave it to the Green Arrow to say something smartass, "My God, it's like a live action version of Night of the Living Dead here," he said. Demons, Zombies, and Vampires, oh my! He had to do something to calm the chaos while making sure Alan's ritual is complete. It was time for Jonathan to shine.
He nearly got slammed by a large piece of debris, which he barely dodged by backflipping at the right time. Landing on his feet, he observed the chaos of zombies, Atlanteans, and Amazonians fighting and noticed several things: Edward Cullen was high up in the air, too focused on his magic. He was about ready to take a shot at him, when he left, likely to go find a dark hole to crawl into. At least he can be eliminated as a threat, for a little bit.
He then ran forward, jumping onto the shoulders of a passing zombie, clamping his feet on it's head and twisting to kill it, before he jumped onto another zombie and onto the large piece of debris that probably would of severely hurt him. And that was when he noticed that the demon Alan had bound to him was turning against him. And she was not watching her flanks. So it would be quite the surprise when Jonathan nocked and loosed a standard arrow, one that had been blessed by Alan previously, aimed straight for her heart. If she didn't stop what she was going. If she didn't let Alan go, she would likely be dead. Or banished. Whatever happens to demons when they get hit by Holy Arrows.
Teth seemed to be in a pickle. Well that just meant it was time for the kiddy gloves to come off. He had seen the bus first as he looked up and flew right next to the bus with a smile as he whispered something inaudibly then disappeared with the wind, as lightning came down and struck the bus causing a huge explosion that would take out a good half of the park, as he landed next to Superboy with the sound of the explosion covering the sound of his flight speed, as he attempted to super speed punch the man's head through the rubble."Everyone who was near that immediate area is now dead, all because of you heroes....why fight when you can just surrender and lessen the casualties."Teth whispered into his ear still grinning wildly, he had especially hoped the green clad nuisance had been killed by the explosion he had set off in the middle of Queensland park, that should have taken at least a 3 mile diameter.

"I want to hide the truth, I want to shelter you, But with the beast inside, there's nowhere we can hide."
As if things couldn't get any worse, Alistair found himself being pelted by small pieces of rubble and then he saw a huge chunk heading his way. Not wasting any time, the male unmounted the blade from his back and easily slashed it in half, before running back into the fray to help the others. But before he could do anything else, the poor souls that had supposedly passed, suddenly came back to life and the corpse-like figures were heading his way now as well. Just great! Not only was there a raging tornado, but zombies now too? Terrific.
To this, Alistair couldn't help but let out an exasperated grunt, before getting to work on disposing of the undead. He felt bad, but it had to be done. Alistair easily knocked out two zombies that lunged at him only moments before, before whipping around to take care of the rest. And then an explosion.
Being completely caught of guard, Alistair was unfortunately thrown back a good distance, causing him to hit the ground with great force. After rolling across the ground, he finally screeched to a halt. Dazed, the teen attempted to sit back up, only to wince from the pain in his arm. It was broken. It was then that he moved a hand to his head and felt the warmth of his own blood. Slowly pulling his hand away, he began to shake uncontrollably and his eyes became wide with fear. "B-Blood...?" Alistair whispered, the sound of his heart pounding his ears.
'Finally! It's my turn to play~'
Alistair's head went limp then, the shadow from his bangs covering his eyes. He was silent for what seemed like forever and the zombies that had survived the blast were inching their way towards him. The boy would have been done for if he hadn't taken over.
An awful laugh slipped from Alistair's lips, except it wasn't him anymore. It was Striker. In a flash, he picked up his sword from the ground and swiftly killed the zombies surrounding him, before sprinting towards his prey. His target: Black Adam. Completely disregarding the fact that both Superboy and Wonder Boy were already facing this man and his broken arm, Striker continued his attack with blood lust in his eyes and a maniacal grin on his face. "Out of the way, boys!" he exclaimed, whizzing right past them. It was then that Striker raised the great Crimson Blade, aiming to slash Black Adam across the chest.
"DIE!"
"When you feel my heat, look into my eyes, Don't get too close, it's dark inside. It's where my demons hide."

And he missed. He misaimed the shot because he didn't judge where she was going. As she fell over the building, Jonathan silently cursed for missing, he was hoping to take out the b***h so Alan won't be killed by the same demon he was trying to enthrall to his will. And then....hell broke loose. A large explosion created by the fact that lightning struck the bus that was thrown at Black Adam threw Jonathan back into another building. He had no chance to dodge it, and it seemed like he was done. That Metropolis would be the graveyard of the new Green Arrow.
And then the ring on his finger glowed white, a bubble of energy encircling him in a protective embrace as he smashed into said building and bounced a bit inside. He may be still alive, but he will be shocked by this fact. And thankful that Alan gave him this ring to protect him from someone like Black Adam. Otherwise Jonathan's comparatively fragile body would of crumpled like paper. He slowly pulled himself out of the building, looking towards where he was sure Black Adam was and zoomed in with his glasses. Thankfully they were not broken. He was correct on the fact that Black Adam had returned his attention to Superboy.
"Thank you Teth Adam, can I have another?" He yelled out. He didn't know what Black Adam told Superboy, but it was probably the usual villain affair of 'you could of spared their lives by giving up' crap, "Or are you such a horrible shot that you can't even hit one bright green colored jumpsuit wearing archer? Maybe Shazam was Gandalf the Drunk after a night of singing, dancing, and walking like an Egyptian to give a dumbass such as yourself godlike powers."
If Black Adam turned his attention to Jonathan, he would see him do something very, very, very brave or stupid: he started dancing. In the middle of a battle. The plus side to the explosion: no more zombies, so he can dance uninterrupted. Kind of a morbid thought, but at least Metropolis won't have to change it's name to Raccoon City.

I literally have nothing to do right now.
gaia_nitemareleft ~ Ace Adrienne ~ gaia_nitemareright King of Hearts
It's rather late, isn't it?
The moment the buildings were clear, Ace released them from the hold of his telekinesis and allowed them to crumble. He wasn't used to holding such heavy, complex structures, so he was exhausted now. Deciding to conserve his energy, he stayed sitting on the ground as he looked around. Black Adam was fighting three opponents, and there was another hero taunting him (which was as foolish as one could get, in his opinion), Raoul was sending wind attacks all over the place, and Sofia seemed to be in bad shape. There wasn't much he could do right now, so he would wait for his chance.
Seeing just what was going on in the short amount of time Vandal had been gone... the immortal was more than a little glad that he had asked to be taken to a safe area of the fight. He had been expecting to see the city torn to pieces, but this was... not what he expected. Perhaps what seemed like only moments for him was just the side effect of his immortality. A month seemed like only a day to him... so it was likely that he had been gone for hours. Leveled buildings, storms, and zombies were not something that could happen in a mere hour. And he had to admit... this was certainly a first. If nothing else, this was proving to be a memorable battle. Amazon soldiers fighting off Atlanteans and Zombies... buildings falling apart, vehicles exploding... both from the Kryptonian battle and the tornado. It was a bit hard to tell who was winning the battle. At least from where Vandal was observing.
Vandal watched on for a few more moments in both awe and concern. Not for the safety of others, of course. People died every day. Today those who did die were just unfortunate. There was no manner of a “good death” with everything that was going on today. Not for the general populaces of Metropolis. No, he was concerned with his own safety, and that of his building. Tornado, he could ride out. Not while avoiding an army AND skyscrapers falling towards him though. He wondered if his own building had survived so far, and how long he had until it inevitably came to ruin as well.
And that... cause a problem. Vandal needed to make sure what he was keeping hidden within his building safe. If the building fell in on itself and crushed everything inside... then the invaluable would become utterly worthless to him. And he had no idea how Gotham was faring... easier to simply count what he had there as lost. He could only worry about what he had here in Metropolis.
If he lost what was here... he would have to travel back to Egypt to obtain more harvested organs. He had plenty hidden there and in the Arctics... but if he were to be severely injured here, well they wouldn't do him much good. With this chaos, he needed to make sure he had what he needed close by. Just in case.
So... he needed to figure out how to either move his belongings out of Metropolis safely... or get them to a safer location. He'd have to get to his building either way. He couldn't rely on having someone else move them. Just too risky with everything that was happening. So he needed to get there himself and move them. Avoid falling buildings, exploding cars, flying debree, Amazons... and whatever other heroes are out and about. A challenge, but not too much of a problem now that he had some suitable weapons from Atlantis. The shield he could use to keep himself safe from smaller debree, and an attack from an Amazon. And he had a sword and a few guns inside the bag on his back. If need be, he could always disarm an Amazon and use her weapons. Or a fallen Atlantean soldier. One that isn't a zombie. This was certainly the strangest battle he's ever witnessed.
As for the Kryptonian... he had a feeling that the boy would be the absolute LEAST of his worries. The boy was busy with Black Adam and a mess of other problems. Vandal shouldn't be on his radar at all. And thanks to the led sheets Vandal had found at the Palace, neither should the Kryptonite. He had a small box lined with lex, filled with small pieces of kryptonite. If what he understood about Superman and led was true, then it should seem like an empty box to the boy. If he came around, of course. He doubted that would be a problem. If it was, he had another weapon he could pull out sooner. Thanks to the knowledge of one of the Atlantean sorcerers Vandal had used to come back to Metropolis... he had a unique addition to his collection of daggers. The sceath lined with led on the inside, and a metal and led handle fashioned around a chunk of kryptonite that was carved into the shape of a blade.
He still had some work to do to the blade... but it was a precaution that should keep him on at least some advantage over the Kryptonian. The lead should keep it hidden, and the blade should keep the boy back. His other daggers and weapons should keep any other hero away. Once he had time, he would work on the blade to make it sturdier and sharper. For now... it would do the immortal just fine.
But, the Kryptonian should be the least of Vandal's worries. There were far too many other problems for the boy to worry about and deal with. And there were far too many other obstacles standing between Vandal and his building. If he had to pull a weapon out on anyone, it would likely be an Amazon. The other heroes should be more worried about the loss of life or the villains who had already arrived and began fighting. So the only real problems Vandal should have would be caused by the battle zone of Atlanteans and Amazons, or flying debree.
