Rep moved his head to give Jordan a long slow sidelong look.
It really was too ******** early.
And then he reluctantly returned his attention to Jerry, giving him a long slow look too at the mention of instrument holders.

Jordan looked up at Rep, looked back at Jerry, and managed somehow to keep a straight face. He had no idea how Jerry could be so completely oblivious, but he was occasionally grateful for the trait. For now, though, he was having difficulty containing the laughter. He reminded himself that Simon was right there and probably wouldn't appreciate it. That helped a little.
"Do the report once we get done with this," he advised Jerry. "You don't want a time bomb sitting there unknown, right? Just in case."

"Oh god... you... you don't think it'll EXPLODE do you??" Jerry looked positively horrified, holding his hand out as far away as he could.

Somewhere along the line, Rep had lost the thread of conversation and no longer knew what they were talking about. So he made assumptions.
"I mean. I. I guess. I guess it could?" he made a face.

"Aye, you are the most together bloke I know." Rep drawled sarcastically. "It has nothing at all to do with like, the fact that you are probably the best argument I have for me being straight." Somewhere along the line they'd derailed into completely different threads of meaning. "I don't know what you have the key to, but its no my libido"

"Much obliged." Happily, Wilson grabbed the snack from Ryan and unwrapped it...then popped the entire thing into his mouth. Beautiful.
Ah yes. It was only a matter of time before Dakota appeared. He reached out to jab the taller moon hunter in the stomach. "Don't talk when your mouth's full," Wilson chastised. He glanced toward Candace and grinned, shrugging helplessly. "I'll tell you I'll try, but I'm afraid I can't make any guarantees. You never know what this guy will do." An amused grin appeared upon seeing Marcus' face. Wilson casually slung an arm around the blonde hunter's shoulders. "So tell me Otto," he began with a slightly menacing smile, "how's Eva, eh?"

"Th-that's not what you said b-before I left!" Jerry's voice rose an octave, but he blinked after a moment as the dual conversation warbled into horrific clarity for a moment, "Wait."
