"... Licked you?" Al's first impression was one of horror. Then yuck. He looked ill, but kept it to himself.
"Yeah... I'm not... sure Nuru would..," Nuru whined in his thoughts. "Nuru's licking his own wounds." He nodded, even if Nuru didn't say anything. He was certain that's what he was doing. It also served as an easy out on the possibility of looking rude and not accepting being patched up after such a rough battle.
"Yeah, I'm grateful for that much," He eyed the choke chain and couldn't quite put his finger on what it was covered in. His thoughts wandered before suddenly realizing something "Do you have a dorm room yet?"

"Yeah, see, I'm not sure anyone would, I didn't expect you to." Noah looked kind of disturbed by the concept himself. "Except me, but I don't exactly get a choice about it, you know?"
He nodded to Al's question. "151! Like the number of original pokemon, it's kind of awesome. I just woke up so I barely have anything in it but it's a room to myself, which is cool. How about you? Do you -- of course you have a room," he answered himself, and verbally stumbled to a halt. "Um." Would it be rude if he asked which one? Maybe Al didn't want to give out his room number.

Al puffed out his chest, "My room is the coolest. I got awesome s**t in it my very first week." He paused as he realized he almost forgot, "I'm in room 130! We're almost like, neighbors. Sort of." He wanted to ask about the pokemon thing but refrained. It was probably a test.

"Cool! What kind of awesome s**t?" Noah might have sparkled a little. "Where did you get it? I don't have any decorations or anything, my room's super plain, I should get like some posters or something. Um, is there a place to get stuff here? Other than the quartermaster, I mean, because he gave me the nastiest look when I asked if there was anything that wasn't jumpsuits that I could get to wear, because I've been wearing this shirt for a while now and it's just getting kind of gross."

"REALLY awesome s**t. Like really nice furs from ******** epic beasts," He was probably exaggerating. "I got them from the coolest Hunter in Deus. He's king badass." Al might have returned a few sparkles with change. Don't spend it all in one place, Noah.
"Oh. Um. I might have a shirt you can... ... borrow. Only borrow. I want it back, okay? 'Cause people get s**t on leave mostly and I've been here a while and I still don't have any." Al raised a brow at Noah, "What did you pack to come here?"

"That's awesome." The idea that Al was friends with the coolest hunter on Deus was a pretty amazing one. "Can I see sometime? The furs I mean," Noah clarified hastily, just in case that had been at all unclear, which it probably hadn't.
"That'd be great! Of course I'd give it back, I wouldn't steal your shirt," he said, looking just a tiny bit shocked at the idea. "Uh, they didn't tell me what to expect, really, I have a couple of pairs of jeans and a couple of my favorite shirts and some stuff, I thought I'd be able to wash them or get more," he admitted. "I didn't really expect an island."

"Yeah! Sure," Al looked mildly suspicious as Nuru seemed to start chuckling at something.
"I only have a few too." Al leaned in conspiratorially to mutter in Noah's ear, "The trick is turning them inside out when they get dirty."
