Enzo glanced over his shoulder at Pickworth's muttering, but thankfully ignored him for the time being. "HEY JOA WHATDYA KNOW!" Ah, a blessed distraction. "Not Mice, man. Mice are puny little rodents for dames," He huffed, waving a hand, "Positively fluffy"

Mot gave a soft smile back to Rikki before gathering his courage once more. "Perhaps if we focused less on our own personal preferences." He directed at a certain group of reapers with a friendly smile.
"It wouldn't be fair. Can anyone think of something from reaper history to use?"

Joachim gave a stare to Enzo for a moment before shrugging his shoulders. Mice were cute and fluffy there was little he could disagree with on that comment. However as for dames, no dames didn't like mice, pied pipers liked mice.
"Well mice are at least better than cats," He replied looking over at the few who had voted on the cat being cute. Cats were not cute, they were little furry monsters with teeth that ate far too much for their own good and terrorized his mice.
Darn cats he thought folding his arms across his chest as Merel did the same.

Enzo flopped onto one of the nearby couches, propping his feet up on the cushioned arm before crossing his arms sullenly. "Alright, then. No felines, no rodents... what about a pale horse? Skeletal or whatever. Like Death. Oh, oh, it could be holding a Tommy Gun to show it means business!"

"Something from reaper history?" Rikki parroted. "Grims were the first, right? So why don't we use a classic grim reaper as the mascot? Dark cloak and scythe and all that."

Johan walked into the common room and glared at its occupants with a look that said 'I do not want to be here, but since this is a mandatory thing, here I am, and I swear to Jack we'd better get this over with quickly'. It was quite a look. When he saw what the meeting was about, he stifled a groan. Why was this mandatory? He jotted down the first two colors that came to mind, and took a seat, massaging his temple as he did. Quote: HOUSE COLOUR VOTE Student Name: Johan Klarstein House Colour Vote: Black and White

Shun was not very amused. Not that.. he's ever really particularly amused. What the hell was this all about, now? Others were making a fuss about this or that, namely over what their mascot should be. He wasn't really sure if he really cared enough to put some input of his own. So he just placed his hands into his pockets while leaning against the wall. Maybe they'll figure something out and he could resume training. Joachim tapped his chin for a moment thinking, "The skeletal horse isn't a terrible idea but too much like the horseman for my liking. Though..." The idea of the tommy gun appeared in his mind and then waved away as a rather bad thought.
"Yea no on the tommy gun horse of doom. The traditional reaper isn't the worse suggestion, it is better than a ugly feline." He replied as he shrugged his shoulders again. This was going to be hard.

The little witch had sunken herself into a chair as others arrived and began adding their own input to what needed to be discussed among them. At least they had gotten off the subject of nudity before her face could flush out even further (why couldn't she just tune it out?), modesty thy name was Maple.
"I l-like the idea of a t-traditional r-reaper," she mumbled in response even though something with horns was still a preference for herself. It didn't really act well as a symbol for them all, which was why she didn't voice it (besides, they probably would have thought it stupid. Probably would also shoot down something more witch-y). Agreeing just seemed simpler.

"Hmmm..." Enzo stroked his chin as he considered it. "Alright. A traditional reaper sounds passable. Even if robes are pretty square. I got it!! A traditional Grimm holding a Tommy! Then they'll really know we are Serious Business."

Joachim just rubbed his forehead after Enzo mentioned the tommy gun. Never not tommy gun with him wasn't it.

Looking up from her phone, Emily smiled at the suggestion of a reaper. "Oh yes! A grim reaper sounds excellent!" The ghoul flushed guilty at her drumsticks, which somehow managed to look accusatory despite being drumsticks. She looked around nervously, "I mean, if grims don't mind us using one?"

"A traditional reaper fits our namesake," Ash said, approaching the shy ghoul who'd offered the suggestion to lay a hand on the back of her chair. "I think it to be a worthy idea."
This was as comforting as Ash got to strangers, but it probably came off more as looming-- such were the trials and tribulations of being seven feet tall and change.
The strange, short boil got a look through the hole in Ash's helm. "Seems unfitting."

Enzo snorted sullenly when his addition was greeted with less than enthusiasm. "Spoil sports and squares, the lotta' ya'." He folded his arms grumpily.

Mot grinned widely. Suddenly he was ten times more proud that he was a Grim right now.
"That sounds like a great idea! No bias meant.." Still, the pride was gleaming off him as he sipped his coffee some more.
