Liang frowned when she found a note with scribbles on it, but remembered what her mother had said. She'd be back in the parking lot if Liang needed anything. Well, this was obviously something, and she didn't know what, so she jogged back to the parking lot and held it up the the woman still dozing on the hood of the van.
"Oh. What?" Ul blinked, still half asleep when the girl prodded her for attention, "Oh, you found something. Let's see...So far away...Head back to the building...Warmer... In the kitchen..." She looked confused, "Where were you? Did you jump down the canyon or something?"
Liang shook her head and snatched the note back before she took off toward the building, finally getting into this whole hunting thing. She had actually found something, so that meant this wasn't stupid, if you could find things. Tearing around the corners in the building, she finally found a room that she assumed was the kitchen. There were all sorts of metal things around, some were all shiny and others were kind of sharp. Hmm.. Maybe this place was dangerous.. Oh well. She started to yank cupboards open, looking under pots and pans.
Ul frowned, the kitchen could be a bad place for a kid, and the company probably had an industrial kitchen. Well, she should probably go make sure the girl was alright. She might not have wanted another kid, but she wasn't going to let this one get hurt. With a sigh, she slid off the hood of the van and jogged to the building after her.

Laial easily picked the note from a flower. He stared at it, then obedienty went around a corner, only to find what looked like a dig site like the ones in dinosaur books. He clapped his hands together out of joy, then pressed them flat on the ground. He made a joke. Ha ha.
He was surprised to see another child there, but who it was he couldn't tell exactly. Well, his note said that he was reaching the end, so maybe other children were as well?
Trying to ignore the increased throbbing in his cut tentecle, Laial began hunting around for digging tools. Eventually a gardening spade was found, and picking it up with some tentecles, Laial set to work attempting to dig up the dig site. He didn't know exactly what he was looking for, but he dismissed that as an unessisary detail.
The pain subsided the more he put himself into digging, until a bit of dirt came in contact with the cut. Then the pain came back for more. He retreated his tentecle so that it was against him and examined it. The cut had dirt on half of it, and the other half the red stuff was starting to leak. Not knowing what else to do, he held the tentecle up to his mouth and gently licked away the dirt. Wiping his cut tentecle on a clean part of his pants, he knelt and continued digging.

Del smiled and walked back over to her father with her treasure. She then proceeded to sit down and play with her top whiel waiting for other children to finish thier hunting.

Vivina's eyes opened widely as she saw something in the dirt. She dug out the object and saw that it was a bag. Looking at the note, she figured out that she had to go to Kat's room. But before that, she had one thing to do. She ran back through the window and down the hallway. "Mooooommmyyy!!! I found something! Lookie!" She gasped for breath as she ran into her mother's legs.
Et jumped as Vivina came running down the hall. Looking at the bag and how dirty she was, she laughed and gave Vivina a hug. "Good job honey! Take that back to Kat and get your prize!" She nodded and sent Vivina off in a dash. That girl is definitely getting a long hot bath after this...
Vivina ran back in, leaving small traces of dirt behind. She didn't realize how dirty she was and ran into Kat's classroom again. "Miss Kat!!! I got something!!!" Pouncing onto a chair, she observed the bag carefully and waited for what she should do next.

Kat grinned, quite pleased with the children for not just tearing into it. "Now open it!" she clapped excitedly. it was the same as the other bag, a spinning top and clover candy. And shiney gold, except this gold was ofcourse different shapes and sizes.

Vivina opened it and gazed at her new top. Giving it a spin, she smiled as it spun around and around on the table. She put it back in the bag. "I'm gonna save the candy for later. I don't wanna spoil dinner." She then took out the gold and observed it. Each piece of gold was of a different shape and size. "Ooh...this one looks like a rain drop...and this one looks like a star..." She looked at them for a few more moments and put them back in the bag. "Thankies Kat! I'm gonna show mum now!" And with that, she dashed off to Et.
Vivina jumped though the halls and found Et coming out of the bathroom. "Mum! I got treaure!" She showed her the bag and its contents. Et smiled and congratulated Vivina with a hug. "I need a bath now...I feel icky." She looked at her green clothes, now patched with brown making them look like an army camoflauge suit. "My clothes need washing also."
Et laughed and pet Vivina's head. "That you do. Let's wait until the event is over before we go home, ok?" She looked at Vivina nod and led her outside to sit on a bench. Vivina had begun to play with her top again. Et smiled seeing how happy Vivina was with her reward. She had worked hard today trying to find clues. She wondered if Vivina would be willing to do this again another time. Yes, she definitely would. That answer was obvious.

Liang frowned at the message, able only to understand the words, "rocking chair", which she remembered from that Sesame Street show that Teagan had made her watch while he was working out at the gym. R is for Rocking Chair. Yeah, and grammas sat in rocking chairs, right? But there weren't any grammas here. Hmm. Maybe mom would be able to read it to her. Of course she could, she could figure anything out. With that in mind, she clutched the clue to her chest and ran out the door, slamming into her guardian after just a few feet.
"Liang!" Ul cried, trying her best not to crack the girl's head against anything when they both toppled over. She blinked, taking up the note that had been dropped in the collision. Scrunching up her nose, she kept it away from the girl and read it out, "Ovens are warm... Find something... For us... Colorful... Setting on a rocking chair. Hmm.." She thought it over, "Liang, do you remember the classroom I told you about? Miss Kat's? I think there was a rocking chair there."
Liang cracked a smile, glancing up and down the hall for something that let to "Kat's Classroom". She was looking for the obvious, and eventually she found it in the form of a colorful cloud of preschool goodness. Once inside the bright sanctum she took off toward what she recognized as a "Rocking Chair" and started yanking pillows and stuffed animals off of it.

Liang gave the note a kiss before handing it up to her mother, then started to rearrange the tossed pillows and toys back where they had been. Even if she was excited that wasn't any excuse to leave a big mess for someone to have to clean up.
Ul read over the clue in silence then tugged on the back of Liang's shirt, careful not to pinch her wings, "Come on baby, we're almost to the end. We just have to find the leprechaun, down the hall somewhere." Searching down the hall was easier than expected, a leprechaun pointing to an open door wasn't exactly normal. When they reached the room, Liang broke away from her.
"Dig for trea-sie!" The girl shouted, pointing out the window to the digsite. It looked as if a few other people had beat here there but that was ok, there was always plenty of treasure to share in the TV shows and things. "There!" She yelled again, climbing up onto the window sill.
"We'll go around, ok?" Ul asked, trying to pull her down off the sill. The girl just shook her head though, and started unlatching everything on the window she could find, regardless of whether or not it was locked. This would never work. "Fine." Ul sighed, moving Liang a bit out of the way so she could unlatch the window. They were only on the first or second floor, either way it wasn't very high. So, with Liang held against her chest, Ul hopped out and flinched when she landed on her feet. Lucky, usually she would have fallen flat on her butt.
Liang laughed a bit while they were in the air, trying to flap her wings even though her guardian still held her tight. When they landed, she immediately wiggled herself free and toddled over to the digsite, selecting the cleanest of the little shovels. After finding a spot no one had dug up yet, she slowly, carefully, started to scoop up dirt and place it in a nice pile off to the side.

Laial happily started reading his note, but by the time he was done he felt like ripping it into little pieces and burying it in the hole. Return to the room he started in?! He refused to enter one tentecle in that awful place! Besides, he didn't think everyone had gone to that room first, and they couldn't have known that he had gone into that room...right? Ruling that room out of his mind, he decided that he should think this out. It was probably a trick question or something. He got by without adults before, and he could certanly do that now!
Well, the first thing he had to do was grab the bag to make sure that no one else would take it. Once that was taken care of, he read the clue again, letting his feet take him back to the D-Corp building. The first place he started...that everyone started...was the base! He began to run, pure determination helping him ignore his tentecle, which started hurting again.
He ran up to the purple-haired teacher. "I foun' sumthin'!" he yelled. He wasn't trying to hide his bleeding tentecle; he didn't know it was a bad thing to be bleeding.

Liang snatched the bag up and scrunched her nose as her mother read this newest clue out to her. The room she started in? Hmm. Well, she started in the parking lot, but that wasn't a room. Wait, maybe it meant the room she started in. That would be one of the labs, or the base, something like that. Or maybe it meant the classroom? The purple haired woman was the one behind this, wasn't she? Oh well, she'd try the base first, since that was the first place she started in.
When she spotted the purple haired woman, who she later found out was the teacher who'd given her mother the ABC sheets, she ran up to her waving the bag, "Find trea-sire! I did!" Ul trailed behind her casually, not too worried about the girl getting hurt while someone else was in the vicinity.

Anoki was tired, and disappointed. His path had started out so nicely, but it just ended all of a sudden. The road ended too for that matter. There had been nothing but a steep cliff in front of him, ending in a lake many meters below. If he was at all allowed to he might have tried to climb down. Instead, he ruefully turned around and retraced his steps, ending up back at the fun teacher's classroom. It never occured to him to look elsewhere. As far as he was concerned, he'd lost the game.
"D-didn't f-find n-othing," he said upon entering, close to tears. He had tried so hard, and was so sure he would find something! Maybe he didn't listen right. But he tried!
