The corners of Ian's lips twitched a little, as though he were hiding a smile, and he let his gaze flicker back towards Shiloh, arching one dark brow. "Shyduck," he said, and gave a nod towards the hunter's boots, the hidden smile unveiling into an amused smirk. He pushed one foot back towards him, mimicking the gesture, and laughed a little. "Don't question it, just go along with it."

He was listening to Mimsy now, caught up by her explanation, and Ian's eyes drifted upwards, following the line of the stars and the brightness. "You seem to know a great deal about this sort of thing," he said lightly, still with a vague sort of smile on his face. "This may seem like a particularly silly question, but do you have a favorite constellation, then?"

Bix listened to the hunters murmur about monsters on the island and fog dragons. He realized that amongst the crowd, he'd been here the longest. He could have definitely told them some stories but.. well it was Mimsy's star show and he could leave her to the entertaining.

Though the stars were doing a good enough job all their own.

"Hello pretty lady.." Bix had spotted Ceres come up and slid beside her, stealing her hand in his and lifting it to kiss the back briefly. Even with the stars he took a stupid sappy moment to gaze at her adoringly. The stars went great with those big blue eyes of hers. "Quite a sight.. huh?" He was still only looking at her though.

“Somehow I sense I don’t have a choice either way,” Shiloh laughed, wrinkling his nose at Ian before settling back onto the sand. He was quiet for a moment, listening to the space talk. Unfortunately, he didn't know enough about constellations to have a favourite, but the conversation was still sort of soothing. He liked sitting with the lot of them, to have everyone here chatting. He had been unsure of what Deus would be like, but this… This was nice. Even if the circumstances that had allowed to it to happen weren’t quite as wonderful.

He turned his gaze from Mimsy, Ian and the group, staring up at the stars for a minute. It really was awe striking, and Shiloh felt like he could lose himself, just staring into the vast expanse of space and sky. But footsteps jostled him from his thoughts, and he tilted his head to see who’d approached.

“Quinn!” he yelled rather loudly, sitting up with a grin. He waved his warms wildly, gesturing for the other trainee to join them.

“Quinn, over here!”

He knew that voice. It was aaaalmost enough to turn his eyes in their direction, but that voice.

Nope he was content right here.

He didn't hate Shiloh, Quinn was just rather shy about group settings. It would take more than his name being called to get the man to assimilate into the herd.

Shiloh was still waving, and Ian had joined him but Quinn didn’t seem to hear him. Well, that was all right, Shiloh thought as he got to his feet; he’d just have to go and get him. Brushing the sand off of his backside, he wandered over to where Quinn sat and wrapped his arms over the man’s shoulders in a weird lopsided hug. They had hugged in the other world, and thus Quinn had been added to a list of people that it was perfectly acceptable to hug here.

“Quinn, didn’t you hear me?” he asked, grinning. “Why are you sitting all the way over here, you goof, the party’s this way.”

And without waiting, he snatched Quinn’s arm, dragging him back to where he had just been sitting with the group, plunking himself down onto the sand and tugging at Quinn to do the same.

“Mimsy was just telling us about the meteor shower. And her favourite constellation… Lepus, I think, that was your favourite, right Mimsy? Do you have a favourite, Quinn? Oh, and you know Mimsy right, you've met her. And uh, this is Ian but judging by the nickname, you two have also met and over there's Nevada and Dylon, and um...”

Oh look another voice he recognized... He still stayed sitting. Ian was a good guy too but-

"Wha!" He tensed up instantly, not at ALL expecting to suddenly have arms around him. He remembered the hug from the other world, so besides being awkward it wasn't unwelcome or weird. It just scared the hell out of him. "But-" He started, and didn't even have a chance to continue that thought as he was literally dragged towards the group. Did he fight it? Not really. Instead he oddly sat there and pondered how the hell Shiloh was so strong to pull him so easily; remembering back to Jordan's little Q&A session. Their partners made them stronger... aha.

Next thing he knew, he was standing in the group who was all sitting, feeling kinda awkward. Good thing his darker skin, combined with the darkness, hid his face if any sort of flushing happened.

He plunked himself down in the group.

Casting Mimsy and Ian a nod next. "I know Ian and Mimsy, How are you guys?." He cast looks towards Nevada and Dylon having never met them before either.

So many people, eep!

"Uhm.... i dont really have a favorite? I think they are all pretty.... the only one i was ever really able to make out without trying were the big and little dippers."

"Does a tan mean.. you in a bathing suit?" He wiggle his brows and simultaneously wiggled his hips. "Or is this nuuuude sunbathing. I'll bathe in vinegar if I have to.."

Tuck merely loomed over Heidi in a possessive sort of way that said one thing very, very clearly.

Mine.

"Yeah, stars, cool." Tuck squinted up at the sky.
