Maybe they didn't like her.
"Turn around?" She didn't see why not, moving so that was resting her head on his shoulder instead. "Ah this is comfortable I guess." She may have closed her eyes. "I'm kind of tired."

The vampire sighed as Amphi made herself comfortable, deciding in his mind that he should just be grateful to be seeing anything other than an empty side of the bed. There were people worse off than he, for certain. Maybe he could wear her down. It wasn't fun if they just threw everything out on the first few tries, right?
"Then why don't you take a nap?" Lou suggested, playing with her hair to keep his hands occupied. He did like long hair on ghouls. "I don't have anywhere I need to be."

"Body language?" She sat up to stare down at them, staring intently. Waiting. "They aren't saying to me....." Amphi frowned as her head went back to resting on his shoulder. Eventually she just tucked herself in his form.
"Promise you won't do anything?" She said sleepily, "Okay Lou? It's not okay..." her voice getting smaller, "If I am asleep..." Soon enough she was lulled to sleep by the companionship and his gentle touches in her hair. For the first time, she seriously considered that she was completely safe again, even with Lou.

"You're just not listening right." His voice became softer as she started to doze off.
"That would be too easy." Lou let out one last sigh before his chest ceased to move. If there was no talking, there was no reason to breathe. Perhaps it would be easier for her to rest this way.
Let her sleep. While it put Lou in a bit of a predicament, it was not the least convenient scenario. He could stare at the ghoul all he wanted now, being the creeper that he was. Moreover, she was warm. So very warm. Having to be so close for such a long time almost made the boil feel alive himself.
