Mahou Shoujo Usako DJ Hope 1990 I will be setting something up as soon as the themes are decided. I am going to be doing things that will not be giving away what the actual decision of the themes. And since there is a masquerade theme in the voting process and it is rather popular and is probably going to be getting a top 5 spot I am officially as the new head calling this to a temporary halt until the decision has been made. I do have other things in mind as of this moment if you're interested however. Well, if Masquerade doesn't end up as the theme, please remember to inform me or spotted so we can arrange some graphics for the event. smile
I most definitely will! Thank you so much. I am also gonna be bringing in some of my own graphics. I can do the coding of the post lay outs on my own. I understand graphic design takes up a lot of time, so I really appreciate you and Spotted very much. *bows*

Same here, haha.
Um, just a thought, why don't we combine the graphics section?
Since many artists have already shown their interest, we could have the graphic artists in the art committee do some requests whenever the advertisers need. I believe Usako has set up a request thread for just that reason! (:

Okay So the theme has not been settled yet but we do know for sure it's not going to be Masquerade. So are you three still intent on this? If so I want start making the arrangements. Violet - I need to know what ideas you'd had from it so far. I also need to get the art committee setting up graphics for our RP too. Is there a theme you wanted to go with along with it? Like Phantom of the Opera Masquerade? I need more people on the committee. I will need your guys help in making sure that people want to get involved.

What the room was going to be like was a modern day masquerade using loose references from the Masque of the Red Death, since I was going to be Prince Prospero. So sorta a Gaia-appropriate, PG-13 masquerave is what we were thinking. And I can find some people to drag in.

I think the room should be like starry like staircases(something like the Milkyway?) leading up to a floating giant temple cover with vines, statues,and waterfalls. The water falls from the temple into a lake reflecting the moon and sun together....or is that too much? lol

I was not intent on anything i just started the discussion and when one of the older members said lets go with masquerade i just delegated the issue to someone who was interested, it doesn't matter to me what the theme is and i have even written that i didn't feel like masquerade myself somewhere, sigh....... and i'm not on the committee for the moment at least. have you made a signup thread for being on the committee? (haven't checked)

At the moment, I don't have much that wouldn't be a branch off the 11th. I had planned the masquerade to be a room last year, but stuff ended up happening so it had to not come into existence and so I got to do the floaters instead. Honestly, I feel like we should have something that can be theme neutral, but still where we can insert hints at what the ball's going to be. Like maybe a stargazing event or a magician shows up.
