Mirror Yuzhi paused and stared down at the place where she had been stabbed and took the spear she had summoned and attempted to copy the same maneuver, but it seemed as if it was to a much lesser effect.

"I hate you. I hate you so much," Yuzhi hissed at the reflection as she swung about for another hit.
The reflection mimicked the words as she mimicked the attack as well.
"You are childish. You are needy. You are so...So... LOST." She cried out at it.

"You keep waiting for someone to come save you, like in the fairytales. You shouldn't wait!" She ranted at her reflection as she snagged a weaker attack against it.
It hit back harder, however, it caused her to stumble a little.

"You...You are not kind enough to your brother, you do not let him know how much you care for him because you fear it will make him weak," She attacked her reflection again. She was on the verge of tears, "You didn't tell Mama and Papa that you loved them before you left ..."

Both Yuzhi and her reflection sagged at the same time as they stared at each other with equal loathing. It was as if ...
"You can change. You can be better than what you are now, can't you?" Yuzhi reached for the reflection quietly with a small frown, the loathing faded.

He woke up on the most comfortable bed he had ever laid in.
A gargoyle leered over him, food already prepared in the tray it carried. Payment? It wanted payment for . . . Sigh. Shik couldn't begrudge him, as he didn't know what would have happened had he not been nursed back to health. But having to pay for food he hadn't asked for was a bit much,
Grumbling, he got out of the bed and moved to drape his clothes back on, fiddling with the group of keys he had. There was only one he could really give up, and even then he imagined at this rate it was surplus anyway. "Take it with my thanks," he mumbled, grabbing a bite to eat on the way out.
Funnily, when he stepped out of the room he was back on the sixth floor. His sandwich also tasted funny.
. . . The white key was there, along with some blood. Well okay then?

There was an odd moment before Yuzhi reached back and weakly slapped at her reflection - the reflection returned the favor but with more pain behind the swipe.

Her hits were coming in a frenzy now, and it seemed that the mirror self was weakening. Yuzhi suddenly had a purpose. She wanted to become better. She wanted to befit the title of 'Lady' that someone had once bestowed upon her.

With one final stab at each other they both dissipated together.
Yuzhi woke up with a bloodied key in hand - this key she would keep. She got up from the bed and paused a moment or two - she pondered what she would give up in exchange to go back and finish what she had started with the others. After a moment or two of thought she gave up the black key before she left the infirmary.
