The castle gate loomed in front of West, impressive, but not uninviting. He slid off of Hocky's back, patting her flank with something akin to affection.

"Gotta go in," he said, voice detached. "I don't think you can..." He snorted as the camel nosed him in the back, pushing him closer to his goal. "Seeya later," West said. He stepped away from his mount's side and through the door.

As soon as he was inside, West was assaulted by a wall of white. There were memories in the fog, and all of them involved her. He'd seen some when he'd given his heart away, but for all the times she'd featured in his mind, he had never known her name.

"Levi."

Wherever she was now, he had to find her again.
