The castle was getting closer. Getting down from the mountain was a bit rough, but it should be easier now. At least, in theory. He lingered where he was for a moment, then ushered his steed to move on. However, before he could really get too far, some bandits had come out of nowhere, striking and snatching a few of his healing bandages.
"Kuso... " he hissed, having half a mind of going after them.
No. He needed to finish his journey.

After they had gone, Shun checked his remaining supplies to make sure everything was in check. Unfortunately, he found that some of the food he had spoiled at this point. Great. Frowning lightly, he disposed of this. They were almost there. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad.

Now being on even terrain once more, Shun snapped the reigns and ushered the horse to pick up the pace. It was the last leg now.As long as he made good time, he should be able to make it before he ran out of food.

Speeding along on horseback, Shun soon reached his destination. Closing his good eye, he relaxed as he reached the castle. He wasn't entirely certain what it was he expected to have here. It wasn't much but... he soon felt something fill him.
Some gaps within his memory were back.
Looking down at his left hand, he realized just what that ring he had there meant.
Mitsu. His fiance. He had seen her in a few of the memories he had before, but now... he knew for certain who she was. Was she around here? He needed to find out. After a bit of rest, he tightened the grip on his reigns.
"Back to the rest stops. Kyah!" he urged before blazing off.
