The time had come, as he and his brethren were ready for the attack. Yesterday's loss would not be in vain, and as he rolled his shoulders and prepared for the bloodshed, Bloodsplatter had never been so excited. There was hardly a call for charge for the Kalona, but the male unable to control himself any longer charged and lashed out, fangs and hooves ready to sink into delicious flesh.

Casper squared his shoulders, trying to ignore the pain spasming throughout his body. Only yesterday he had stood against the Kalonas, and while they had won the battle, he had suffered some serious injuries. He had, of course, been tended to. Unis had been working their powers on him all night, but now the second attack was coming, and this time it was personal - he had an agenda, he had to win.
Gritting his teeth against the pain, his tail thrashed as he prepared to charge into the fray.

Deyanira had never had a battle quite like this. She was more ready than ever though, determined to come out ahead, with a win, even of not for immediate. friends and family, but for the war that was ahead of her. A few swipes with her claws would get her opponent down, and give her a head up on the competition, or at least she hoped.
