Tsuna MikiSolomon knew how to accent and highlight a party, which made her think he'd be more suited for interior design than teaching. The champagne colors around the room really complimented the emerald green drapery decorating the tall windows. Hints of darker greens bordered the upholstery and paired nicely with the golden cutlery, as well as the guava pink rosed dotting the center of the tables. Plants of all different sorts filled the empty spaces giving the hall a more botanical feel compared to the pristine ruins outside. Everyone was jovial, and Tsuna wished to participate in their joy but knew she'd be putting on a fake smile. To many subjects clouded her mind, and the only thing that broke her thoughts was the subtle tap of a cane followed by whatever smell wafted from the mug. His silence approach made her hair stand on edge, and had he been an enemy she would have for sure been slain. He admitted that he wasn't a dancer, and similar to her they both had two left feet. "Is that so? Who would have known that one of the Great Solomon's weaknesses was dancing." She responded playfully. He appeared complacent, but his stern under tone was prodding her to reveal her true emotions. The two of the were like two card players trapped in a never-ending of wit and tentation, neither unwilling to play their hand too early.
Of course, he was right about her wanted to avoid attention, especially from the crowd mingling with the twins and JayBird. As for Lottie's sister, she's always the life of the party when she hits the stage. By that time, Tsuna will disappear from the army of adoring fans. Tsuna knew she couldn't hide any intentions from Solomon, nor did she want to, so she decided to just come out and say all that she felt. "I'm leaving. After tonight," She paused and bit her lip lowing her head slightly, "I will no longer be your student, Professor Solomon." She inhaled deeply and faced him bravely. "Ivan is sick. I know you and Lumina know the cause. I can't stay here...always in the dark...away from the truth...surrounded by lies. I'm not...I'm not a child anymore. Neither are my teammates. I'm taking them with me. I'll find a way to make Ivan better, as well as find Lucas whom I know has been missing for quiet sometime. Also, there's some other matters at hand. Bigger obstacles at play. I can sense it growing everyday." She glanced at her teammates, her focus more on Micha'el as she remembered about the brother he told her about. Tsuna walked in front of Solomon blocking his view of all his joyous students and sadly held of her hand. She looked sadly into his eyes holding back tears. "Goodbye, Professor Solomon. Thank you for teaching me and putting up with my arrogance for the last few years." She gave a wobbly smile knowing that she was about to step out of these walls with no intention of returning to how the ways things are now. She wouldn't let him stop her either, she was going to leave one way or another.

Professor Solomon Day Headmaster Main Theme
Solomon allowed Tsuna to have her moment, playing on the fact the two of them could not dance. Solomon could sense something else behind her voice though, and knowing Tsuna to be a volatile one, he intended to have her speak her mind. He had hoped this topic of conversation would help ease any tension she was holding. He understood she must be eager to know what was wrong with Ivan, who had succumbed to an illness after his recent mission with Maverly, whom has also been constantly attempting to heal him at Lumina's side. The half-elf was terrified this was the same illness that her beloved little brother had and she was determined to prove it wrong. He was watching Micha'el and Lottie continue their dance whenTsuna spoke up. She announced she would be leaving the academy, stating she would no longer be his student. He kept a steady gaze on her, giving her his full attention as his clasped his warm mug in his hands. He did however raise a brow at the mention of her bringing Team Sun with her, he did not expect her to say that at all. From what he had learned of this brave girl, was that she was prone to taking things head-on, all alone. To see that she was including her team on this future endeavour proved to him that she was growing. He then watched as she stood and turned to him, holding out her hand to shake his. Silently, Solomon stood and placed his mug aside. He then took her hand and held it firmly, but did not shake. With the smallest smile he said "I am glad to know that you will not be alone" whilst exchanging a level gaze with her. He could see how much this meant to her, and he didn't intend on taking away from it by saying that he suspected she would be leaving anyway. This was not a surprise to him. "And although I will be saddened to no longer be your headmaster, I will be interested in all your future endeavours. My one request is that you look after your team - I shall be grading Micha'el and Lottie extensively on this little excursion." He then gave her hand a firm squeeze and a slight shake before breaking the hold and stepping beside her, shoulder to shoulder as his demeanour became serious. "White lies can become coloured by context, Tsuna. Sometimes it is not out of spite that knowledge is withheld from us. I cannot stop you from walking down this path, Tsuna Miki. But I must ask if you are prepared to face the horrors of this world as you unravel it's mysteries? And one final piece of advise - I would stay clear of this business with Lucas' disappearance. I can assure you that Alexis is already fighting her own war to find him, I would not like to see you come across her cross-fire. Goodbye, Tsuna Miki. May hope always light your path."
Time falls away Pain always finds a way to stay The tears that you’ve shed May find a tree to water But only when you’re stronger I promise I’ll be here until the end I promise I’ll be here until the end

Tsuna MikiHe stood and grabbed her hand firmly, and instead of a goodbye, she was surprised to see him addressing her as his equal. He didn't attempt to convince her otherwise or demeanor her request, in fact, he was glad that she was bringing her teammates along. Approving of the idea, he did advised her to look after them since they'll be graded and are technically students. Her tears welling in her eyes completely dried as she smirked with glee at the challenge she'll no doubt uphold. She definitely won't disappoint him in whatever future endeavors she'll embark on. Giving her a slight shake before he broke away, he stopped next her, shoulder to shoulder, facing the opposite direction before his tone became serious. He wanted to make sure that the lies told her aren't out of spite but protection. She knew this deep down, but the answers were tantalizing to seek. He informed her that he couldn't stop her and shield her from the horrors of the outside world, however, any thing involving Lucas should be left alone. Apparently, he was Alexis's burden and her budding in would make things worse. Tsuna gave a small nodded heeding his warning before he wished her the best of luck.
Tsuna held her head high and walked away unable to look back at the man that had given her so much in these last couple of years. Knowledge, strength, and a family were all things she could never repay. All she could do was succeed in this new mission and return victorious. Heading up to the second floor, which was severely empty, expect for the occasional student or two, she found a secluded balcony and stepped out. The wind ruffled through the emerald curtained and the icy breeze brushed against her skin. Snow was starting to fall as she looked out over the railing watching white blanket the ground. She exhaled deeply wondering when to bring up the subject to her teammates. Would they even want to leave with her? She knew there would be danger, and she couldn't face it alone, not this time. There was to much at stake, and if she should fail....She gripped the cold railing trying hard to not let her emotions run rampant. The last thing she wanted was to ruin this beautiful, peaceful snowy night.

I just wanted you to be my brother... ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▒▒Micha'el Maues▒▒▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
I was listenin' to the ocean I saw a face in the sand But when I picked it up Then it vanished away from my hands, dah
I had a dream, I was seven Climbin' my way in a tree I saw a piece of Heaven Waitin' in patience for me, dah
But no, take me home Take me home where I belong
But I kept runnin' for a soft place to fall And I kept runnin' for a soft place to fall
Micha'el and Lottie had finished dancing when they heard the music fall silent and switch from live orchestra to Arcanic Speakers, using arcane energy that mimicked speakers in Non-magic Earth. Lottie's eyes widened and Lily walked out on stage, followed by a hush and a cheer from other fans in the hall. She let loose her first number of the night to her relatively small audience in comparison to normal. Micha'el wondered if Lily enjoyed the small gigs more than those huge nights at the Hypersphere Stadium in Entei. He waited on the backlines as Aoi's Team and even the Twins and JayBird enjoyed the music. It was during this time that he wondered where his other teammate was, she hadn't even come to see them after coming in earlier. He looked around to find that Professor Solomon was on the side-lines, speaking with Alexis and laughing about something. At his crossed eyes with Solomon, however, the headmaster's eyes were drawn to a balcony above. A hidden message? Micha'el looked up above him, over the stage to see an open set of doors. He looked back at Solomon again, hoping for another sign. But alas, Solomon had turned around to indulge himself in some cake.
"Breath, should I take a deep?"
Micha'el could hear Lily's next song beginning, a cover of a Non-magic Earth Song ((Utada Hikaru's 'Face My Fears' from Kingdom Hearts 3)). He looked over to Lottie, who had already approached him and cocked her head, raising an eyebrow at her partner. The two exchanged looks as he gestured to the balcony and mouthed 'Tsuna'. Micha'el looked back at Solomon again, and this time he was staring at the boy, and nodded.
"Faith, should I take a leap?"
Micha'el swallowed, he sensed this moment would come. He could see it in Tsuna's body language in the days leading up to tonight. In her restless ramblings about Lumina and Ivan during his illness. She had been uneasy... and it usually only meant one thing. Micha'el felt a hand on his arm, Lottie gave him a firm squeeze. They both knew. Tsuna was leaving.
"Taste, what a bittersweet..."
The two of them had made their way up the stairs towards the end of the hall, wasting no time to try and find their teammate upstairs. They passed students watching Lily from the balcony, paying Team Sun no attention. They both stepped through the open doors and as the icy cold air hit them they had hoped to find her there.
"All my, all my life..."
But as the wind caught at Lottie's dressed, and brushed Micha'el's hair aside, they found no one. Out here, where it was quieter, the two could finally speak over the sound of Lily behind them. "We won't be at Hope for a while, I think" Micha'el said, clenching his fist. "Remember how long it took us to find her last time?"
"Let me face let me face let me face my fears."
"Micha'el - she'll wait for us" Lottie reassured him, smiling innocently with her hands behind her waist. Micha'el took a breath, sighing. "How do you know?" he asked quietly, hopeful. "Because" she said, swaying over towards the rails, "we're a Team, and we're not kids anymore." She gave him a grin before cocking her head as Micha'el stepped up to her, looking down over her shoulder to see Tsuna waiting for them outside on the grass.
"Watch me cry... all my tears." ((commence dubstep))
Micha'el's eyes widened, and with a some glee he held tightly onto the railing, not caring for how cold it was against his soft hands. Lottie let out a cheer and threw her fist into the air before hopping over, shortly followed by Micha'el. The two landed gracefully and quickly approached Tsuna. Micha'el couldn't tell if she expected them, or if she was just apprehensively watching them from afar before attempting to leave. But they both knew one thing for sure, Tsuna wasn't planning on leaving without them this time! "Team Sun on another adventure!" Lottie exclaimed as Micha'el placed his hand on Tsuna's shoulder. "Ready to do this together?" he asked, smiling.

Tsuna MikiThe music faded and the Arcanic Speaker orchestra replaced the upbeat party music from before. JayBird struggled to hold his composure when he saw Lottie's sister Lily strut onto the stage. He'd never admit it but he was a massive fan of hers. He owned practically every album and appeared at all her shows. Sadly, due to his shy nature, he had always wanted to meet her in person but could never muster up the courage to do so. Now that he knew Lottie personally would it be possible for her to introduce them? No! He could never ask for such a selfish request...and yet...As he maintained his gaze between the twins, no of them notices the rest of Team Sun making their exit. Lily's voice harmonized smoothly into the mic stealing JayBird's breath away with every word. He would have fainted by now had he not been with the twins unwilling to break the expectations they had of him, well, if they actually had any. Regardless, he'd silently share in her ambiance and enjoy this night for as long as he could.
Tsuna listened silent from the balcony not bothering to turn around feeling the weight on her shoulders already. It appeared that Micha'el and Lottie weren't coming and she couldn't find the strength to pull them out of the crowd, away from this safe life. Instead, she leaped over the railing landing onto a frost bitten patch of grass. The blades crunched under her heels as she began to walk away only to stop herself half way. Her intuition told her to wait patiently, just for a few minutes more allowing them time to make a decision. Suddenly, her wolf ears perked up when she caught their voices mixed into the muffled music. Over the railing, she could see their surprised and excited faces looking down at her before jumping off to meet her. She couldn't contain her grin showing her canines as the two landed gracefully. Their agility has increased ten fold since she disappeared, yet the three were in sync and stronger than ever. Tsuna looked to Lottie happily and placed her own hand on top of Micha'els as he took her shoulder. "Always." She paused before looking down at her outfit embarrass. "First, I got to go back home and change though. I'll meet you both at your dorm and we'll plan from there. We leave at dawn!"
With that she broke off and returned home. Lumina and Maverly hardly noticed her presence as it appeared Ivan was getting worse. She changed into her white jumpsuit and slipped one her high waisted red jacket. Compacting her hammer and placing on her backside, she wrote a quick goodbye note in the kitchen and left it on the table. Lil' P caught her before she flew out the door and of course she opened her arms wide to him. She held him close and whispered. "I won't let him die. This isn't a fool's errand, not this time. Take care of them for me." With that, she placed him down and closed the door heading to the dorms.

At Lumina's and Ivan's apartment, Tsuna collected her essentials and a change of clothes, passing her guardians along the way. Maverly was at Lumina's side, being ever tentative to the both of them. It was strange how a lady who presented so cold, so up-tight, seemed to melt in the face of danger. Maverly had been with Lumina most of the time since Ivan fell ill, using her advanced knowledge of medicine to help him. Lumina had appreciated it deeply and was often reassured by Maverly, in fact she wasn't sure what she would have done without her so far. The two had quickly come close. Lil P' exchanged a quiet goodbye with Tsuna by the door, catching her before she could vanish. He didn't put up much of a fuss beside warning her than Lumina will be devastated... but will hopefully understand her choice.
Meanwhile, back at Micha'el's dorm room, Lottie was bashing on his door with her iron fists. The excessive knocking would be enough to enrage any neighbours had they been in and not at the ball. "Wait a moment!" Micha'el announced, walking into his wardrobe door as he attempted to squeeze his head through his shirt, one arm precariously shoved through one sleeve as the other dangled below. With a curse he let out a pained "AH!" and almost kicked his foot against his bed before managing to get his shirt on. The knocking ensued once more and finally, with a sigh, he pulled the door open. Lottie marched in immediately, turning on her heel as he closed the door. Micha'el, arms crossed said "I heard you the first time, every time!" Lottie cocked her head and grinned, holding her weapon behind her innocently "you sounded distracted!" "You were the distraction, Lottie" "I can tell, your hair is a mess, and you don't even have your socks on" Micha'el cursed again, moving to his mirror to brush his fingers through it as Lottie plonked herself down on his neatly made bed. Thus, thud the door sounded. It must have been Tsuna. She was always firm and confident with her door knocking. Letting her in, with a smile, he gestured she place herself anywhere as he took his desk chair to begin putting on his socks. "Sorry, I've barely had time to get ready" he said, eyeing Lottie. "So" he then began, "what's this mission about, where do you need to go?" "WHO, do you need to see?" Lottie chimed in, leaning towards her friend, quickly quieting her energy, noticing that she was perhaps treading on deep water. The two then gave Tsuna their full attention, prepared to do almost anything for Tsuna.

Tsuna MikiTsuna could hear the rift between Micha'el and Lottie before she gave a firm knock on the door interrupting the two. Guess it was a good idea that she did because Micha'el look frazzled due to Lottie's impatience. He gestured for her to sit anywhere, but now was hardly the time to rest so she remained standing in the center of the room. The two gave her their full attention asking valid questions that will aid them in their mission. However, their questions would be left unanswered because she hardly knew where to start or who to see. Tsuna exhaled deeply and eyed the two of them choosing her words carefully. "As to where to start, I don't have a place. Only a scent to go off of. Unlike you two, my sense of smell is more potentate and the smell coming from Ivan is unmistakable. He smells of rot...and bird...a strange combination. Also, he's extremely pale and his hair is turning white, but not in an aging way. His veins and eyes glow a sickly neon blue...and his screams..." It was making her sick visualizing him in such a grotesque manner. She shook herself away from the thought and continued holding her head up strong.
"As for who we need to seek, well, at this point it could be anyone. Also, there are some other discoveries here that are yet to be determined, " She paused clearly looking to Micha'el for this next part. "We can discuss people along the way." Hopefully, he picked up that she wanted to talk to him in private away from Lottie about his brother. The last time this subject was brought up Lottie didn't believe him, and although she said she believed him she wants to confirm if he's real or not. "I know it's barely crumbs we're going off of, but I'm open to suggestions." She now glanced to Lottie hoping she would have some ideas to convey. Tsuna felt her chest tighten wondering if the two would call it quits after hearing her not-so-confident lecture.

Lottie scowled listening to Tsuna's description, she couldn't imagine having such a keen sense of smell to be very useful if it made bad things smell even worse. Micha'el nodded, remembering her previous descriptions when Ivan first became ill. The two then continued to listen until Tsuna was finished. Micha'el noticed her stare at him when she mentioned people, he wondered if she meant what he thought she meant. Either way, he didn't press now as she turned to the other matters at hand. All the while he ignored the pang in his chest. Zoltan, he thought, brother. Lottie then pulled herself further back on Micha'el's bed, pressing her back against the wall as she stretched out her legs. "Well.. Miss Asche would be the first pick, but she's obviously lost too if she can't heal Ivan." "We really have nothing to work on, do we?" Micha'el asked, nonchalantly as he began putting on his shoes. Nonetheless, Team Sun pushed on. With a sigh, Lottie began to muse. "So Ivan's illness is magical, like a curse. He got it on that last mission with Miss Asche, with undead bird-things right? Sounds like dark magic..." Micha'el paused, finishing the last tie on his shoe as he slowly came to sit up. "Dark magic" he repeated, as if searching his mind for something. "That's Delorius Tatem's specialty, shadow and bone - except they don't actually deal with necromancy, but their land deals with creatures like that all the time." "Delores tata-what?" Lottie asked, baffled. Micha'el looked between the girls then added "sorry, the Conclave of Declasia. I read some books about that when they joined the Guildeam a few years ago. Allegedly, they borrow their magic from the Underworld." "So... We need to go to the Land of Crows? That's the other side of the world Micha'el! We can't just open a portal like Professor Truesvale." "No, we can't, but there are places that have portals open all the time. For example, the Greymarkets are known to set up portals between each other, a kind of black market travel. We could go to the Underground in New Coventry and find a portal leading to a Greymarket in the Land of Crows? Failing that, we could still search the Greymarket for information, there are all kinds of people in those places." "Dodgy people" Lottie remarked, "everything is under the radar in those places. Not illegal enough for the Guilds to intervene, but not legal enough to be out in the open." "Trust me" Micha'el said, looking to Tsuna, "we'll find something there... I've been to some when I was younger"

Tsuna MikiThe two hung on her every word until she finished allowing them to input their insight. Lottie adjusted herself getting more comfortable as their reviewed what they knew and weighted their options. It was true that Miss Asche would have been an ideal ally, but even she was incapable of healing Ivan at the moment. Micha'el clarified that worst and Tsuna gave a dismaying shake feeling helpless as Lottie listed off all the facts they knew. Ivan illness is magic based, and wherever he picked it from was on a mission with Miss Asche involving undead birds. For Lottie, the sequences of events clicked and she immediately deduced that this was Dark Magic. Micha'el repeated her unsurprisingly as he finished putting on his shoes before conveying what he knew. He threw out a name, Delorius Tatem, a name Lottie had difficulty comprehending, but apparently undead creatures roam there. However, they don't specialize in necromancy, yet any suggestion at this point was plausible. Delorius Tatem or the Conclave of Declasia, joined the Guildeam years ago and make deals with the underworld according to Micha'el. The problem was that they were located in the Land of Crows which was on the other side of the world, and opening portals was barred from them.
Luckily, Micha'el mentioned that their are places open that grant portal access all the time. There's the Greymarkets, and just judging by the name, it sounded shady. Shady areas brings around shady people, and if they don't succeed in finding a portal at least information is in abondance there. They could easy travel to New Coventry and track down what they seek. The way Micha'el so clearly described the Greymarkets meant that he had been there which he confirmed in his next statement. Why would any parent take their child there? However, she wasn't one to talk since both of her biological parents weren't around. Her mother had passed away before she was born and her father abandoned her only to show up years later and kick the bucket. Tsuna looked to Micha'el and nodded, "It's a good place to start as any." She paused and looked to the window. "The sun will rise soon. Do you two have everything you need? I'm sure you both know we won't be returning for a while so make sure you're set."

Together the three of them peered out the window, seeing the night was drawing to a close in a few hours. Micha'el nodded, mentally noting our summer nights never lasted long and that the morning sunrise would be upon them soon. Lottie pushed herself up from the bed with a spring in her step, holding her glaive lovingly. "Yup!" she said, turning to Micha'el who still needed his Aria. Micha'el stood, taller than both Tsuna and Lottie after his recent growth spurt, and reached his hand out towards the Aria which had been silently waiting on the nearby desk. It seemed to hum as he called it, singing back to him as it hovered through the air. It then spun elegantly, spiralling slowly as it began to fold in on itself. It folded once, then twice, impossibly a third time as it shrunk in size to resemble a pendant by the time it reached Micha'el and hung itself from a necklace on his chest. "Something Miss Asche taught me" he grinned, then pulling a handkerchief from his jacket pocket. With a flick it revealed itself to be a long white coat, beautifully handcrafted. As he placed it over his shoulders he said "and that I taught myself." "Woohhh" Lottie beamed, is- is that from your Mum?!" Micha'el nodded, to which Lottie let out an exasperated sigh and leaned against Tsuna. "We need to beg her for something of our own someday" Lottie mused, Micha'el's mother was a wonderful seamstress. Micha'el shrugged, forcing a smile and said "She's a busy lady, we'll get you something soon I promise. Anyway, we're all set I believe? We'll have to take the Western Mountain Line. Fortunately the trains run through the night to take goods to New Coventry City direct, with some passenger carriages, I think."
With that decided, Team Sun made their way out of the Academy, avoiding the great hall where the students still revelled.
((I'll timeskip to getting off the train at New Coventry))
