To say Re-L was shocked was probably a bit of a lie. She had known that Shobei was no where near innocent when it come to the more scandalous things in life. She also knew that Shobei wasn't afraid to bare it all, as was her usual confident manor. She supposed that she shouldn't have bat an eyelash when Shobei lowered a finger and took a drink of her beer. But even if she knew that she shouldn't of reacted in surprise she did. Her eyes widening a bit, before she blushed and looked away from Shobei feeling a bit odd about meeting the girls gaze under these circumstances.

The roll fell on on Shobei next and the girl spoke her phrase with no hesitation. Saying that she had never had relations with more than two girl in a single year. Re-L's quickly snapped her gaze to Shobei at that, what Shobei had just said heavily implied that the girl had in fact been involved with a girl before, more then one even.

As the others in the group either put their fingers down or didn't Re-L only stared at Shobei and wondered how she could get the girl to elaborate a bit more. Did Shobei like girls? That would be a surprise, from what Re-L had seen Shobei seemed to attract many people from both genders, and Shobei had made passes at females before, but Re-L had assumed she was just joking around. But could it be that Shobei really had an interest in a relationship with another girl? Could Re-L, possibly have a chance? Ok maybe she shouldn't think of it as her having a chance, but she couldn't help it.

Re-L noticed that the circle had gone quiet and that everyone was looking at her, Re-L realized that it was her turn, and she had no clue what to say. She had never done anything sexual what so ever but using that as her opener with Shobei and even a few of her teammates around would only serve to humiliate herself. So Re-L decided to just throw something crazy out there, the kind of things that usually was only seen on the news. "Never have I ever -inhale- messed around with a -inhale- teacher" Re-L said wit a blush, she felt that what she had just said was pretty stupid, however she was surprised at the amount of fingers that dropped and drinks that were taken......who the hell were these people?

Forty-five minutes had past and a new and a new game had been started and Re-L was wasted. She still held all five of her fingers up, and last game she had kept all of her fingers up as well. But she still drank, so she wouldn't miss out on the fun. But she had vastly misjudged her limits and 5 beers was way past hers. She was slightly leaning to the side, sweating very acutely as a bit of red had set into her cheeks. But she still looked alert, as long as she didn't have to stand, and walk she would be fine.

It was her turn to speak again and all eyes were on her comical smiles spreading across everyone's faces. Her last few turns had been bouts of her mumbling unintelligibly before she was promptly skipped.

Re-L sensing that it was time to speak again settled her eyes on Shobei, her drunk mind flashing back to Shobei's first turn, what she had said about sleeping with girls. Re-L smiled unconsciously at her roommate, in her drunkenness Re-L was a more confident more carefree, she no longer wondered if she had a chance with Shobei. She knew she had one. She just had to convince Shobei of that.

Boy how a few beers can turn someone around.

"Never have I ever had thoughts about doing naughty things with my roommate."
The breathing issues were gone, Re-L was able to speak fluidly when she was no longer limited by nervousness and lack of confidence. Of course what she had said had been a blatant lie, as she had fantasied about Shobei many times, however this lie was necessary. Re-L had to know.

(I think the term is "Drunken Confidence")

Re-L was surprised at the number of fingers that dropped during at her question, she didn't know if these students had co-ed dorms or if they just swung that way, but she supposed it didn't matter. Whatever made them happy.

But she didn't much care for their responses, because her question had been pointed at a certain person in the group a very direct question in an indirect game. Re-L wanted to know Shobei stance, and this little questioning had her been her drunken minds way to scheme up an answer out of her.

Re-L watched her closely, waiting....waiting for anything. and then. Shobei's finger lowered and Re-L felt herself following into a stunned stupor. As Shobei took a drink, Re-L also lowered one of her own fingers before hiding her hand from the others. She knew that she may have cheated a little bit, but it was a beer game, and everyone was drunk not exactly the time or place to be getting judgmental.

There was a few more rounds before the game was ended, and everyone stumbled away happily some teasing eachother about the things they had admitted and others walking away with new companions seemingly having found a shared interest in this tight little circle. Whatever the case may be, Re-L and Shobei were left alone. Re-L looked at her roommate cautiously suddenly realizing how nervous she was. Shobei had admitted, in a second hand sort of way, that she had been thinking about her in a..... very.... private way and Re-L was a bit afraid that Shobei would act on the urges now that it was all out in the open.

But another thing that made Re-L very nervous is that she honestly didn't know if she would mind Shobei taking her right then and there.....she wanted her too.

Re-L's eyes widened slightly as Shobei crawled towards her, could the girl read minds? Did Shobei know what Re-L wanted? Was this really going to happen?

No, Shobei simply rested her arm around Re-L's shoulders pulling Re-L against her side, which Re-L nuzzled into rather easily enjoying the warmth of the other girls body. Shobei spoke to Re-L softly, her voice rumbling seeming to massage Re-L's ears. "The game was fun, very *inhale* fun." Re-L answered, closing her eyes snuggling closer to Shobei. "I don't need anything *inhale* right now. I just wanna *inhale* sit here for a while *inhale* if we can" Re-L said softly, moving her hand to rest on Shobei's lap unconsciously rubbing circles on the girls flesh. "Shobei, do you like me?" Re-L asked out of the blue.

"Yea, lots of fun" Re-L said absentmindedly, she doesn't know why she said it again, maybe it just sounded like the right thing to say in Re-L's drunken mind. She was glad that Shobei was willing to let her just lounge there on the floor. She was even more glad that Shobei would stay with her. Because Re-L didn't trust herself right now.

She wasn't too inebriated to realize that the way she felt right now was not normal. She couldn't sit up straight for one, and losing awareness of ones equilibrium definitely not good. She felt a lot more protected with Shobei there. Re-L's mind flashed back to a conversation they had in their dorm room. About Re-L taking care of Shobei if she got drunk, how funny was it now, that it was in fact Shobei taking care of Re-L?

Apparently very funny because Re-L suddenly started falling into a fit of laughter, leaning more heavily on Shobei as she giggled.

This laughter lasted until Shobei answered Re-L's question.

"Of course I do, Re-L! Who wouldn't like you? You're such a sweet girl"

Re-L grinned widely 'She likes me. Re-L thought happily 'she thinks I'm sweet!' Re-L's excitement was reigned in a little bit when Shobei continued on

"Bet you could get in the bed with any of the hot frat guys here within seconds."

Re-L pulled away from Shobei, gripping the girls shoulders and looking her in the eye, before shaking her head furiously "No, no, no. I don't like *inhale* I don't like *inhale* boys. I don't" Even drunk Re-L realized that she had just released her biggest secret from it's rusting cage, and quickly clamped her hand over her mouth, looking around as if expecting to be stoned for her confession. "I mean.....errr I didn't....*inhale* I'm not...." Re-L released Shobei's shoulders and averted her eyes as quickly as she could looking down, her face beet red and not because of the alcohol. She hugged herself tightly afraid that if she didn't more secrets from her past would find a way to escape and ruin her.

Re-L could see that she was confusing Shobei with her behavior, but she didn't think too stop herself. She was just so confused about the whole thing. And the alcohol was severing the barrier between her brain and her mouth and now she had made a fool of herself.


"I didn't *inhale* mean that, I meant...

Re-L stopped herself mid lie, she knew that there was no point in taking it back now, she was ruined. Ruined! Ruined! Ruined!

"That's nothing to be ashamed of, yknow?"

Re-L's eyes widened a bit as she looked up at Shobei, has she heard the girl correctly? Shobei wouldn't judge her for her secret? As her roommate kept speaking, Re-L began to realize how foolish she had been, of course Shobei wouldn't be offended, she had indeed heard the girls confession during the game. It just hadn't really clicked for her until now.

'So she doesn't mind if I like girls, but what if I told her that I liked her?'

Re-L thought with a blush as she looked down, not noticing Shobei moving in until she felt her soft lips on her cheeks Re-L gasped a bit, her heart picking up the pace it's steady beat becoming more and more rapid.

She shivered unconsciously when Shobei spoke softly into her ear, the girls breath tickling the side of her face. Re-L was blushing so hard that she thought she might faint, she forced herself to keep looking down knowing that if she met Shobei's eyes, that she might possibly explode.
Re-L continued to look down as Shobei continued on naturally, joking about having teased Re-L about boys earlier and how she coulda been more accurate if Re-l had came out in the beginning. Re-L smiled softly, finally looking into Shobei's emerald eyes. "I was afraid to tell you" Re-L said softly, looking away again, as she moved beside Shobei again and leaned against her, retaking her earlier position. "I didn't think -inhale- you would want to be -inhale- my friend anymore"

Re-L knew now that she had been mistaken in her thinking that Shobei would be somehow disgusted by her sexuality. But she been hiding who she was for so long that she didn't feel that she had much of a choice. Even though Re-L use to be homeless, she would still be able to catch news broadcast over the radio that was owned by one of the other street dwellers. She was fully aware of how poorly people like herself were treated for finding love amongst the same sex and it wasn't fair.

But hearing Shobei regard it so nonchalantly made Re-L feel much better the girl made it sound so simple, and it made Re-L feel very foolish for over thinking the situation. "Yea, I guess it is *inhale* ridiculous. But....but *inhale* I've just heard things so *inhale* I've always been afraid too tell *inhale* people" Re-L explained feeling slightly ashamed of herself for not trusting Shobei enough to tell the girl her secret. She hoped that Shobei wouldn't be upset with her over it.

Though Re-L could sense that Shobei wasn't mad, and the way she was running her hand through her hair was very soothing, so much so that it got a soft sigh of pleasure out of Re-L before the petite girl began speaking again "I don't think you are *inhale* shallow. Now *inhale* at all, it's just...." Re-L stopped talking catching herself before she said something stupid.

But even though she did force herself to stop talking Re-L wanted to say what was on her mind, she wanted Shobei to know how she felt. The girl deserved to know, and hey Shobei had admitted to thinking about Re-L in a not so family friendly way during the drinking game. Maybe, she felt the same way that Re-L did. "Shobei." Re-L said, moving away from Shobei again, raising her hands to Shobei's hand that was in her hair. Re-L too that hand within hers, holding it in front of her running her thumbs across Shobei's skin while she worked up the courage to speak. "I want to tell you something *inhale* but you have to promise." Re-L cautioned looking Shobei in her eye barely contained worried shown in her own azure orbs. "Promise, that what I say *inhale* won't change our *inhale* friendship"

Re-L didn't think Shobei would be so nice to her if she knew the truth, if Re-L told her how she truly felt, she knew the girl would probably cringe and flinch away, regretting every loving touch she had given the petite girl. But after Shobei had been so nice and so open with her, Re-L owed her the truth, she couldn't hide anymore.

Shobei was always encouraging her, even now it seemed that the girl was going to whisper more soothing encouragements. Or at least she was, before some girls decided to get into a full out fist fight with each other on the couch, causing cups to fly there way, and of course once again Shobei was there to protect Re-L, to take the projectiles instead of letting them splash down on top of her.

Re-L tightly gripped Shobei's sides pulling the girl in closer, ignoring everything that had just happened, and the noise of the drunks fighting Re-L found her voice, and shared her secret. "I like you, Shobei. *Inhale* I really, really like you *Inhale* not like friends. I mean....*inhale* I think, I'm uh....romantically. *Inhale* I want to go out with you....romantically." Re-L was brushing crimson red, her pale skin burning with her embarrassment, she had never made such a confession before, and now that it was out she didn't know what to do.

She looked at Shobei unsure, and noticed, the alcohol dripping from the girl, and realized just how soaked with spilled drink. Re-L stood too her feet and pulled Shobei up with her. "W-we should go *Inhale* you're dirty"

She likes me too!! Re-L thought happily as she allowed Shobei to lead her out of the house and back into the public, she was leaving her first college party with a huge drunken idiotic smile on her face, but it didn't matter. Not at all, because Shoebi liked her. Like... she liked, liked her.... romantically. Re-L blushed brilliantly at that thought, but still she smiled.

The night air was cold, or at least she assumed it was, it seemed the heat from her cheeks was warming her entire body, but she knew Shobei had to be cold, after all she was wet. Deciding to try and share some of her warmth, Re-L huddled close to Shobei, hoping to transfer some of her warmth over at least until the reached Shobei's car.

Re-L sat in her seat quietly while Shobei got in, on her end. Re-L was almost afraid to speak now, not sure what too say or even how to say it. She looked over at Shobei unsure, marveling at the woman's beauty and wondering how uncomfortable, since she was wet.

"Um...Shobei?" Re-L asked a bit unsure "Do you really like me?"

Re-L couldn't help but blush and blush hard, at Shobei's response to her insecure question, the words she used and the passion behind them were truly proving to be a bit too much for her. Anyone who's would be willing to fight wolves, metaphorical or not, just for her was amazing in Re-L's eyes.

Yes Shobei was amazing, probably the most amazing, caring, wonderful person Re-L had ever met. "Thank you/" Re-L whispered, she wasn't sure if Shobei had heard her or not, but it honestly didn't matter.

.....

When they pulled up to their dorm room, Re-L must have been dozing off or something of the sort, because before she could even stir, Shobei was already opening her door, and they were walking down the walkway, the alcohol must have been doing things to Re-L because she didn't even notice she was moving until Shobei pulled her close and then she was hyper aware, as a burning blush touched her cheek. Shobei asked her a question that she didn't have a real answer too, she didn't know what she could really say that would be worth much weight as an answer because she just didn't know, but she attempted to answer at least.

"Because *Inhale* because, you notice me *inhale* you treat me like I *inhale* matter" Re-L admitted and she wasn't sure if that was a good enough answer but it seemed to do as Shobei lead her into their shared dorm, and INSTANTLY began undressing for what Re-L prayed was for a bath, Shobei was beautiful yes, and Re-L wanted to do things with her...eventually. But she was not ready just yet, she was still overwhelmed she was still.....

VERY OVERWHELMED

Re-L let out a small yelp as Shobei pushed her onto the bed and straddled her, leaving her trapped with no where to go as she leaned in closer, and closer. Re-L gulped and closed her eyes, if this was going to be it, she was just going to close her eyes and accept it. But as their nose touched, and nothing else Re-l slowly opened her cerulean orbs to stare into Shobei's emerald hues as the woman above her spoke, in a voice so seductive that it made Re-L feel tight in places she couldn't describe. But the question still loomed over her, did she want to join Shobei in the shower? Was she ready for that?

"*Deep shaking breath* Yes"

And though her answer was a positive, Re-L was still too nervous to move.
