✧ Lee Jo dashed through the plaza like a bullet. His eyesight was relatively out of focus as he was deep in thought. In a moment's weakness, he was looking back to just a way back when he saw the woman in the park. That wasn't her, he thought as he dashed around a food cart and continued running. Lee Jo was in a world of his own as he tried to describe his feelings about what he'd seen. That woman he'd seen, the woman in the park. The darkness of old and decrepit feelings Lee Jo had tried to forget crawled around on his mind. Though in front of him, there was a fountain he was going to run around, he was viewing memories of the dark house he'd dashed through. Just as he passed a familiar blue haired mage, he stopped abruptly, his feet screeching against the ground. His eyes were fixed on a specific memory. He looked down and showed true horror as he saw his hands covered in blood.
Azrael looked up from his book and saw a familiar face. He hadn't seen this man since complaining about his stupidly long scarf. Which with the sun staring down on them, Azrael found very appealing to the eye. Yet Lee Jo didn't seem to be paying him particular mind. No Lee Jo's bewildered eyes were staring down at his hands. Why? Azrael had no particular idea, but whatever the man was remembering wasn't pleasant based on his expression. Closing his book silently Azrael stood up and walked past Lee Jo, purposely stepping on his scarf and then tripping again, into Lee Jo. "Such fine fabric shouldn't be touching the ground should it? What is it with you? A fashion statement? Its not my hair this time around that I'm sure of. Your scarf just enjoys getting in my way doesn't it?" Azrael picked himself up, then extended a hand to Lee Jo to help him to his feet. "I believe we met at the train station. Between then and now I joined Blue Pegasus as their official Blood Mage. Its a pleasure to see you again, I don't recall exchanging names. I'm Azrael."

✧ Lee Jo didn't look back to see anything. It was only when he felt a pull on his head that he came out of his day-mare and saw someone on the ground extending their hand. Lee Jo, still charging his persona, reached out for the hand like an average person would. However, when he saw the face connected to the head, connected to the arm, connected to the hand he was reaching for, he jumped back and squint-glared at the person who'd run into his band.
"You!" he said with hostility. "That guy with the two left feet!" Lee Jo struck a defensive pose as though he were about to go into a fight as he saw the man extend his hand.
Azrael retracted his hand slightly alarmed by his reaction, and as a result of his karate chop defensive pose Azrael struck his own. They both looked goofy but Azrael's was more in good jest. "I believe my feet are normal, your scarf is just stupid." Azrael looked down at his feet to double check but then turned back up to Lee Jo. "Yes me. I was going to inquire what exactly is giving you your grave look. Perhaps I can be of assistance?" The mage turned around and retrieved his original tome and held it down to his side as he awaited for Lee Jo's response. He looked around, taking notice that the crowds usually busying this particular part of town had died down. He wasn't surprised, today just felt like such a busy day to him and he didn't quite know why.

✧ Lee Jo recoiled at the declared recognition of his moment of weakness. Evasive Maneuvers! he thought as he then performed an odd pose that looked as though it would be a step in a rain dance.
"I don't know what you mean, Azuzu" he said awkwardly as he looked in random directions, showing multiple signs of lying and purposefully mispronouncing the Blood wizard's name in the hopes that it would throw him off. Lee Jo went down the list of everything in his head he could do to push the 10 seconds of weakness he'd shown under a rug. In his eyes, it was unbecoming of a hero.
Lee jo became more and more funny to Azrael the more he interacted with him. No matter how hard Azrael tried, he just couldn't see himself taking Lee Jo seriously. "Azuzu? My mother used to call me that when she got bored of my name. One minute your Azrael, and the next you become the name of a dog toy." Azrael shook his head and simply shrugged it off. Lee Jo clearly did not want to be here, or at least he didn't appear to. Looking around, Azrael thought someone was watching them with the way Lee Jo came off. Paranoid to say the least it was beginning to bug Azrael now too. What if there was someone watching them? The Blood Mage couldn't say, and it made him glance back at Lee Jo as if perhaps Lee Jo was planning for this. "I was just gonna ask if you were still in Mermaid Heel or if you wanted to join a new guild."

✧ Lee Jo came out of the pose at Lee Jo's question, looking as though he were about to become suddenly more serious, but then performed something like a super hero victory pose. His headband flowed in a sudden wind as he looked off into the distance and gleamed his confidence like sweat.
"I am no longer among the Mermaid Heel!" he shouted as though he were speaking for a broken megaphone. "I am a lone warrior out to seek the true face of justice and purge the evils of the world! I will find a team that is perfect for me and signifies the true meaning that is heroism! I will..." Jo continued to read from a small booklet he'd pulled out of his pocket while proclaiming his mark of heroism. To anyone watching, it might have been off putting or odd for a hero to speak motives from a manual.
Azrael watched him and smiled again but gently pushed the book down from Lee Jo's eyes so that the "hero" could focus on what he was about to offer. "Vigilante seems like a good gig except that no one is thanking you. If you'd like I'd love to see you working with me at Blue Pegasus. I mean we're not really gonna get in the way of your heroism. Whatcha think?" Azrael shuffled his book over to his other arm and scratched the back of his hair. His dark eyes watched Lee Jo, now this guy wasn't looking around so paranoid. From the right angle perhaps he really could look like a hero.

✧ Lee Jo smacked Azreal's hand in a flashy way and spun backwards into another pose.
"Fool! You are missing the last line of my hero proclamation!" he shouted pridefully as he proceeded to read the last line.
"I shall find my comrades on my journey to being the hero of all! Never shall I force fate's choosing!" he said before closing the book and making a pose that disturbingly resembled an eagle. People that passed by were starting to think some disturbed hobo was on the streets and freaking out the guy he was talking to.
Azrael stared at him for a moment trying to process his ludicrous words. "Tell me hero. Do you force fates choosing when you select a meal to eat? Or do you wait for an apple to land from the sky and into your hands? You select a meal no? It would be death otherwise, because lets face it. The gods aren't as generous as you dream them to be. So do you wait for friends to come to you, or would you go to meet them? Like now as I stand in front of you, offering you a position in Blue Pegasus. Whose to say I am not a messenger of fate no? You? What kind of hero would you be to question fate no?" Azrael chuckled and walked past Lee Jo. He didn't even bat an eye, his time was suddenly being wasted talking to the man here. Azrael didn't really know what was coming over him, maybe he had some kind of hidden beef with the gods. Normally he wouldn't act so, courageous against someone so capable as Lee Jo. "But thats alright if you don't find your place at Blue Pegasus. I wasn't going to force you into a situation you didn't want to be in."

✧ Lee Jo didn't register Azrael passing him as he laughed obnoxiously and dug into his pocket.
"Aha! No! I don't choose a meal! I use this!" he said, revealing a pair of dice. "This is fate's answering my calls!" Jo suddenly flipped his dice up into the air.
"Let's see here! Even means join this guild, odd means I am against fate!" he said cheerfully. The dice spun in the air, Jo's gaze was unfaltering as he let the dice spin before beginning it's descent. Lee Jo jumped into another pose as he heard the click-clack of the dice hitting the street.
"SEE! I AM--" Lee Jo was silent as he saw the dice. "It's a 2...."
Lee Jo looked dumbfounded at the dice, it's little white form showing only two dots, repersenting an even. Is this my path, he asked himself within his mind.
Azrael turned around as the dice landed. Lee Jo started out confident, and eventually grew dim. The very corner of Azrael's mouth twitched as he looked on at the number. 2 is even. You are right where I want you, he thought to himself. Azrael walked back up and stood next to Lee Jo whom stared down at the dice. While Azrael's initial goal was to bring him into Blue Pegasus, his initial ideal of not doing anything to Lee Jo that the man did not want. Azrael was still inclined to follow this idea. "Well Lee Jo. Will you allow your god to force you to follow his decision? Or shall you write your own fate? Whatever you decide makes no difference to me. Perhaps you'd like to come back to Blue Pegasus before making the ultimate decision?" Azrael was trying to give him the choice, regardless if Lee Jo didn't want it. While Azrael did admire his stubborness to do as fate decreed, the blood mage couldn't take a single die seriously. He merely hoped that if Lee Jo went into combat, he would not leave the fate of his party members to this die.
That would be ludicrous.

✧ Lee Jo stared with a puzzled expression as he picked up the dice and stared at the double dots. What could this mean, he wondered as he looked at it like an alien contraption. Realizing his visible hesitation, Jo jumped and landed in a pose after performing a majestic backflip. "It appears that my path awaits me in Blue Pegasus!" he said with a saluting hand on his forehead.
"I humbly accept your invitation, sir!" he said confidently.
Azrael smiled, glad he finally won with Lee Jo. The Blood Mage turned and began walking off to Blue Pegasus in order to get Nogi to meet Lee Jo. He wasn't quite sure what the master would say about how odd Lee Jo was but he knew Nogi wouldn't deny him entry into the guild. That would be shafting Blue Pegasus a good member and Nogi wouldn't do that. Azrael knew the man to be logical at the very least. Although he wasn't quite sure whether or not Lee Jo would be a good member. Well Azrael had to cut him some slack, the boy was odd but he honestly liked him as a person.
But now it was time to get to Blue Pegasus, and Azrael was sure Nogi would be pleased to see a new member in his guild.
