Later that evening...
Roman yawned and lay down in their nests, his mama covering both him and his brother with her wing as she slept deeply. He sleepily glanced at his brother and smiled. They had had an exciting day, even though he figured Remus wouldn't wanna go to the south with him again. But thats okay, because before he left, Demoni had said something about Daki beginning her training next time he came down, and he was excited.

As soon as his mother's wing was over him, Remus was out cold. While Roman was away the day before, he'd joined his Uncle Delta in training with Plouton and Great-Uncle Haides. It had been exhausting, and while the south was interesting and he liked the sand, it was also hot and tiring to walk around. His energy was spent, and he doubted anything would wake him up besides his mother or Uncle Delta nudging him.

Roman waited a couple days before he got up early and headed south. This time for hardcore training, which he'd been working on by himself while in the north. He slipped into the cave just as the sun began to rise, and waited for his Father and Demoni to awaken.

 Dakini had wandered outside, unbeknownst to her father and step-father. After all, she'd only gotten out of her blanket a day or two before, and they didn't think to watch her yet. She'd mostly gotten walking and running down... Her red eyes fixed on the colt who'd walked into the cave. Chaos? Was that what he looked like? The half-demon filly trotted quietly over towards the cave entrance, walking up behind the colt with the fiery-lace pattern.

Chaos tilted his head to check out the filly that was outside the cave, her solid red eyes giving him the same beginning eerie feeling that Demoni's did. "Daki. Great ta actually see ya." He said brightly, noticing that her blanket color had in no way been the same color as herself, unlike Roman and his brothers had been.

Dakini was quiet and still for a moment, as if processing what the colt had said. A wide grin spread across her face. "Kos," she proclaimed, her tongue still rebelling against her attempts at proper speech. That voice was familiar. It was definitely Chaos. Her tail swished behind her, happy to finally see her step-brother instead of just huddling by his feet. Then her gaze went to Demoni and Ruin, the former of which was starting to stir.
Demoni slowly pulled himself from sleep, once again contemplating what an odd state of being it was. Before coming to the mortal world, he'd never required sleep and thus never experienced it--or dreams, for that matter. He couldn't remember what he was dreaming about, but he distinctly remembered being happy about it... Groggy with sleep, he stumbled a bit as he got to his feet and looked much less steady than he usually did.

At the stir of his mate, Ruin blinked his eyes before stretching and yawning, a long stream of fire leaving his maw as he did so. He stood, stretching his legs out from their stiffness as a result of sleeping. He smiled at Demoni, about to say something to him, when he realized that there were two young with them now. He stifled his smile and returned to his normal glare as he looked upon Dakini and Chaos. "Pleasant for you to return, Chaos. Dakini, are you ready to begin training with your brother?" He asked.
Chaos grinned at Dakini's attempt to say his name before he turned his blank face upon his waking father and his father's mate, as he had come to realize, though the idea was very abstract to him. He nodded at Ruin's words, silent as he looked at Daki to see her reaction.

The wide grin vanished as Ruin turned their attention to her and Chaos. Her expression went to that calm and collected expression that her father's always did when he was on business. She nodded to her step-father's question, not trusting her tongue to get the answer out properly.

Ruin nodded. "Good. Demoni will be training you today." he said without further adieu before he turned to go out of the cave. "I have business to attend to." He nodded at Demoni before heading north, to check on Paimon and see about that first-born...
Chaos turned to Demoni and awaited orders.

Demoni didn't expect to be passed the torch like that, but unlike his physical form, his mental stability was not shaken. Spreading his wings so that they were halfway open, he addressed the two foals. "I don't have the observation tasks set up at the moment, so we'll start with stamina today. There's an oasis some ways west of this cave. Get there before midday. You may go at any pace you wish, as long as you complete the task." He closed his wings, more steady now that he was properly awake.
Dakini nodded, then paused. Which way was west? She looked up at her father expectantly. She saw a smile form on his face as he seemed to realize what she wanted to ask. "West is the direction in which the sun sets. Any other questions?"

Roman shook his head, silent as could be as he turned to Dakini. "I know the way." he said, wondering if she'd want to lead or follow him.

Dakini eyed him, debating. He seemed trustworthy, but she wasn't sure she wanted to play the follower. At the same time, he knew the way and she didn't... Reluctantly she gestured for him to lead the way.

Roman nodded and tucked his wings in, knowing that if he used them, he would travel much faster and farther than Dakini, and he wouldn't leave her behind. So he set out on hoof, like he had with his brother the previous day, and led the way towards the Oasis, wondering if she would make it the whole way.

Dakini trotted quietly at his right shoulder, her gaze instinctively moving about the terrain. She was curious to make visual connections to the sounds she'd been hearing. The soft swish of wind moving sand, the muffled sound of hooves on the grainy ground... it was new to her, and fascinating. Now she was happy that she was letting Chaos lead. But she wouldn't let him know that.

Roman kept up a quick pace, but he made sure to keep an ear out for Dakini to make sure she was keeping up. He was silent as the sun began to begin its ascent into the sky, and he saw the Oasis vaguely just on the horizon with just enough time to get there with Dakini if they ran, though he could make it easily if he flew. He turned and looked at her. 'We gotta run." He said, his red eyes sparking with heat as he waited for her response.
