Team Orange Lizards Team Members: Delphi + Sessrumnir Choice: N/A ”If we mess up, I’ll take responsibility for it,” Sessrumnir promised with a wink as they made their way down the left path. He grinned when she mentioned not wanting to cross a moat, and he lifted a hand to wave off her concern.
“If we end up needing to cross a moat, just leave it to me. I’ll carry you on my back if I have to,” he offered, having no doubts about his swimming abilities. He was a man of the sea, after all.
“Polo...” he hesitated with a small grimace over his shoulder at Delphi, “It’s okay, I guess... I just really hate it when the horses drown.”
He hoped she couldn’t see the grin that appeared on his face as he turned away from her, wondering if she would realize he was just making a joke, or if she would really think he didn’t know what water polo was.
But along the path was something that caught his eye. “There’d better not be any more crows...,” he grunted, peering curiously towards the path to the right. There was a sign or something down that path...

Team Copper Tigers Team Members: Falias + Dallol Choice: Right
The sight of another team on the same path as both Dallol and Falias could mean many things but the blue-haired Page decided against pursuing that train of thought for now, weighing the options in her mind before voicing out her preference as to which way she was of the opinion of them picking. "I'm honestly curious about that sign since it might offer us a clue like the one that we just saw."
She began, a tentative note as she inclined her head towards the path she was referring to. "Why don't we check it out for a bit and then decide if we should head down that way entirely or opt for the other route instead?"

Team Copper Tigers Team Members: Falias + Dallol Choice: Right :3 "That works for me" Falias agreed as he started to walk towards the path on the right, adding cheerfully "Although I can't promise that I'll know the answer if that sign turns out to be another riddle." The previous time had been a coincidence after all - it was unlikely that they'd strike that lucky twice. And besides it wasn't as if he was particularly wedded to one path over another - at least not right now.

Team Orange LizardsTeam Members: Delphi and SessrumnirChoice: Right."And your sure you could manage to swim and hold me up and assist?" She questioned. I mean it did seem hard. She could swim she just wasn't like he was - apparently. But she knew in her uniform she could never manage swimming on her own. She knew how to swim...she was no pro at it.
"Indeed...I suppose that by your answer you do play that as well." She stated, perhaps a bit too dryly, as she rolled her pale eyes at his back. He certainly was an overly confident person. She wondered, briefly, if he was just cocky or if there was something to back it all up.
"I hope not..I don't dislike them but considering our past experience with them...I'd like to avoid them for a while." She said with a nod of her head. "Right?" She questioned even as she headed that way. "It looks like there is a sign or something similar. Perhaps it'll help us."

Team Orange Lizards You've picked the Right path! Team Copper Tigers You've picked the right path! (Somehow I did a timewarp or something IDEK.... anyways to make up for it your two teams run into each other down this path Tigers get there first, lizards second. Just bare with me. /lazies on spoiler since you two are together now.) Down the right path, the first pair to reach was the Tigers. Seeing a sign and two scarecrows, that had appeared to be another team standing there. Though there was no wheelbarrow.... Shortly after the tigers got there and prior to reading the new sign, the lizards showed up. The sign reads as follows. This path might seem like an end but follow it and you'll find a bend It'll shorten your path Just do the math While you go paint the roses red So that they can lay in bed.It seemed like an odd thing to put on a sign, but what did it mean? The teams at this point can choose to move forward or back depending on how they feel about this sign's information. Your teams may also work together if you so wish. PS. There is also a puppet sitting on the sign with a fishing pole. A bucket appears to be hanging from the hook. The teams can also choose to speak to the puppet and see if any other information can be gained from him.

Team Copper TigersTeam Members: Falias + Dallol Choice: n/a What he'd thought was a couple of people at a distance, had turned out to simply be a couple of scarecrows. He gave them an amused look "Guess I was wrong about the people," he admitted to Dallol. About to get a better look at the sign and at the writing on it, Falias was distracted as two more people arrived, instead turning to look at the new arrivals. Another Page and a Squire it seemed, maybe one of the teams, although not ones he'd talked to earlier, prior to the maze event kicking off. After nodding a greeting he went back to looking at the sign, reading the words thoughtfully before turning back "It looks like another riddle" he admitted, albeit not one he recognised this time round.

Team Copper Tigers Team Members: Falias + Dallol Choice: Talk to the puppet?
"That's alright. The setup managed to fool me too." It was a really clever setup. Dallol had to give it that much credit at least as she waved off Falias' sheepish admittance of his mistake, turning to give both members of Team Orange Lizards a smile in greeting before directing her attention back to the words written on the sign. The words didn't seem like a riddle this time round compared to the one that they had to solve earlier on, this one sounding more like a cryptic instruction of sorts on what was expected of them up ahead.
"Hmm... I wonder if this is supposed to clue us in on what lies ahead as implied by the riddle." She mused aloud, gesturing towards the puppet that was seated atop the sign itself. "Don't suppose that the little fella could talk or something..?"

Team Copper TigersTeam Members: Falias + Dallol Choice: Talk to the puppet "I guess" Falias said thoughtfully. "After all the other sign told us to turn around and it turned out to be right." He looked over at the puppet seated on the sign as Dallol gestured towards it and then back at his partner. "Well I suppose it can't hurt." Turning back to the puppet he asked, knowing even as he spoke the words that he was going to feel very stupid if the puppet turned out not to talk after all "You wouldn't happen to be able to tell us what lies up ahead that way would you?" He indicated towards the path heading straight.

Team Orange Lizards Team Copper Tigers (As both teams can hear this answer) There was a whirring sound as the puppet came to life. "What Lies up ahead?" The puppet parroted back. "The end lies up ahead of course. The problem is getting there." The bucket lowered a bit and a drop of red paint splashed out. "Suppose you're looking for the way to get there?"

Well what do you know the puppet does talk Falias found himself musing as the thing parroted back his question before adding that the end was up ahead. Seemed like Dallol had been right about it. He looked back at his partner, a thoughtful look on his face, then back at the puppet. "We are" he said. "Can you offer us any help?" At this stage he reckoned any clue would be welcome. Sleet Tempest Snape quoting because the two teams are currently together Guine quoting because the two teams are currently together

Team Orange Lizards Team Members: Delphi + Sessrumnir Choice: N/A ”Or it’s meant to confuse and stall us,” Sessumnir pointed out to his partner as they approached the sign. Before glancing at the sign, he looked up at the scarecrows with a grimace. It wasn’t that they spooked him, he just... thought they were crudely made... and maybe a bit creepy.
He snorted once he finally read the sign and crossed his arms over his chest. “Well, it makes no sense to me,” he said with a casual wave of his hand as he looked around for another way to go.
But before he could suggest another direction, another team showed up. “What do you think, Delphi? Should we talk to the puppet, or does that sound just as crazy to you as it does to me?”
It wasn’t that he thought the others were stupid for trying everything... Naive, yes, but he knew he was far removed from being young enough to be so naive and innocent.
Even so, he wasn't startled when the puppet did begin to speak, and he let out a small laugh of amusement. It figured this place would be weird enough to have talking, riddling puppets. Now, how well the riddles were constructed were another story.

Team Copper Tigers Team Members: Falias + Dallol Choice: Still talking to the puppet =3
Do not focus too much on how the puppet was able to talk, but rather on what it was potentially able to tell them. Dallol reiterated to herself over and over in her mind as she stared wide-eyed at the inanimate figure that had seemingly come to life the moment Falias began to address it proper. It was somewhat creepy really, bringing to mind snippets from some of the horror movies that she had watched previously. Deviously innocent puppets and dolls who waited for an opportunity to strike when everyone least expected it.
She shook her head a few times to try to rid herself of the memory, trying to remind herself that they were participating in an event that was organized by the knight Niflhel and weren't in any imminent danger that could take on any form. "... y-yeah. Anything will do really." She added tentatively with a shuffling of her own feet.

Team Orange LizardsTeam Members: Delphi and SessrumnirChoice: N/ADelphi had, thus far, remained silent and simply watched the others and the puppet - especially the puppet. "You want us to paint something red...like in Alice in Wonderland...the red queen had the white roses painted red..." She spoke finally and looked to her partner. "Figures a creepy puppet would go along with something like Alice in Wonderland..." She shook her head and sighed.
"I say we take the path with the bend...and we paint the roses red as the sign says." If anything she didn't trust anything that referenced Alice in Wonderland, considering the whole 'off with your head' thing. And she was sure this had something to do with that story, even if it was something small. "I don't get the bed thing though..." Trailing off she cast a look to the others, questioning them. Pale purple eyes searched each of them before returning to settle on her team mate.
"Considering the sign references a crazy story...I'd say we can be crazy and question it. Just make sure to watch your wording or the answer may not be to what we really want an answer to." She hoped her partner could pull off some very well worded question and maybe get them some help.

((Due to the fact I had to take a small rp hiatus without warning to quicken this pace up, your teams will be given three posts in order to wrap this up. Depending on your next few choices will determine the outcome of this rp and the rp will then be wrapped by my 5th post. Please respond to this ASAP and quote me when you do respond.)) There was Mechanical laughter as the puppet sat there and the knights asked for help. "The sort of help you need, is not the kind I can supply." The puppet said with another chuckle, the fishing pole lowered the bucket as it spoke. "However, I can offer you some assistance as, I appear to have the only red paint." The bucket sloshed a bit of the paint out as the puppet's motions jerked a bit, "Over yonder, are the paint brushes." A sweeping motion with the fishing pole, while the bucket was low enough to grab hold. Sloshing a little more red paint out. "That is, if you want to paint roses, so they don't catch a cold." The riddles might have been crudely crafted but it almost seemed as if they were meant to be that way.
