Sacarius tilted his head as Vixen went all metaphorical on him, stating something that is generally used to say that there were other things besides a basic appearance of something, letting out a chuckle when she added the "A lot more" part, "Trust me when I say I know what you mean" he replied, placing his hand up on his hat once more. Most people tended to keep their distance from Sacarius, they always saw him as an odd one that just spoke in sarcasm and sometimes riddles, then again... he was sure they had other reasons for avoiding him. He shook his head to redirect his attention back to Vixen, "But I'm sure you had something more specific that you were referring to" he added, since she seemed to be lost in thought, but then again that might be prying into something more personal and he didn't want to be too much of a bother... despite in his own words "pestering" her.

As Vixen pushed her glasses back up for the tenth time now Sacarius was able to see a tattoo, one of a star inside of a circle, Ohhh... so a pentacle eh? he thought recalling the uses of pentacles, usually for holding spirits or as a way to safeguard someone from angels and demons alike or hell, some people even makes pacts with either of the two and are giving either a pentacle or pentagram medallion as a reminder of their deal. He looked away once again and tried not to pry, as he had said that he didn't want to, at least without her wanting to tell him, sipping from his coffee cup he returned his gaze to Vixen, "Y'know, I would've never figured you for the mysterious past type" he commented, bringing his hand down from his hat. He slipped his hand into his pocket before pulling out a coin, although the material of the coin was odd... it was green and transparent yet felt like steel and was cold to the touch, not to mention it was emitting a small amount of green smoke, on the face up side of the coin was a pentagram as he flipped it into the air with his thumb it landed as a pentacle, he looked back to Vixen "Tell me, what do you see on the coin's face?" he asked, with a sly smile on as always, he seemed to have a small trick up his sleeve.

Raising an eyebrow as Vixen answered him he stared at her and then back down to the coin, his smile still fairly visible on his face, "Really? Because I see a pentagram" he stated, it was a trick he had done before, a game of perception "Y'see, its all about how we perceive the things we see, from your point of view you see a pentacle, I see a pentagram because it is equally angled in such a way that I see it oppositely" he explained, as he held up the coin by 12 o'clock so that it faced Vixen, the transparent material showed a hazy image of half of Sacarius' face on the other end, although the eye that was visible through the coin was open, revealing a golden snake-like appearance. As he turned his wrist so that he was now holding the coin by six o'clock it appeared as a pentagram, it was a trick of perception that he liked to play on others, "And now that you see that, you might think it odd of me to carry such an item" he remarked, slipping it back into his pocket, a puff of smoke appearing from inside his pocket as he removed his hand.

Sacarius let out a slight chuckle after a brief second of silence, "Do you know why I showed you that?" he asked, raising an eyebrow once more.

Mentally he cursed as he had thought by the symbol alone she wouldn't assumed it had something to do with her tattoo, she was a tricky one he'd give her that much, "Its a way to tell ones attitude to the world, an optimist would subconsciously see it as a pentacle since they would affiliate it with angels and goodness and that jazz, while a pessimist would subconsciously see it as a pentagram because they' would affiliate it with demons and such, even when it was clearly the other they would see it as slightly slanted and draw upon the conclusion that it was their preferred style" he explained, all of that was a lie, but a plausible lie. Really he was curious to the powers that she had hidden away, he had met quite a few people with a variety of powers, and he'd never really get to see them all but it was a secondary task to observe all the powers of the students, faculty and more recently people like the one that had attacked him on the school grounds before.

With a nod Sacarius tipped his hat forward once again, "Don't forget summing rituals, the five points to place the needed items and the center of the seal, where the conjured are brought" he added, he was never one to really look into religions, granted there was that whole "Holy Knight" honour he had awhile ago, seeing as how she knew that he had seen the tattoo he gave a shrug, "Well, I gave it my best to be subtle, so lets get to the more direct approach: What is the tattoo all about, I can sense it more than I can sense you, and thats fairly odd in my books, unless it was like a holy relic... one that you got embedded onto your skin" he remarked, he had kind of given up on the subtlety since it might require he use more of his energy to conjure other things to bring up as "conversation pieces".

Sacarius seemed generally interested in what Vixen was saying about the tattoo, her hesitation making him a little doubtful that she had explained everything, but why give out all that information to a complete and utter stranger? He nodded as he understood everything she was saying perfectly, almost like he had previous knowledge of things such as limiters "Ah, so it lowers your power level? Odd thing to do, I don't see the point, unless you're trying to avoid someone or maybe if the level was dangerously high for your mortal shell" he commented, although his wording was slightly odd, especially the fact that he used the word "Mortal", it wasn't exactly modern slang. In truth Sacarius actually did have a similar way to lowering his power level although it wasn't visible on his body at all, but for whatever reason he had this limiter he had yet to say.

Happy with the details she had revealed to him, he gave a light shrug "Thats sounds kind of grim..." he remarked, before sipping from his coffee which was now emptied, he raised the cup to about eye level and looked into it, he had drank the entire thing in a fairly short amount of time. Shrugging again he lowered the cup and chuckled "...then again theres a lot of grim things in the world" he added, the way she explained it made him think of other things that could be effected by a overly strong power level, like mental and spiritual condition. He already had information on limiters and such at Snowcrest, but it never hurt to learn some alternatives, then again the limiter seemed to be the best way to control power levels, but the process of inserting a limiter was... less than pleasant, luckily Sacarius himself never had to undergo the procedure, yet he had one.

Sacarius flashed a smirk and slid his free hand into his pocket, walking right up to the tree and leaning against it, he always seemed so relaxed and casual, no matter the situation. He balanced the bottom of the cup on a finger and tried to keep it up without letting it fall to the ground, while doing so he looked over to Vixen "I suppose you'd rather talk about something else, you don't seem to comfortable talking about that... yet distracted enough that you haven't noticed a single firework going off" he remarked, pointing out the fact that several fireworks had gone off and Vixen had flinched or showed any sign of discomfort to any of them, or at least she was hiding it pretty well. Almost on cue, another firework launched into the sky a brilliant crimson coloured flares that exploded into a large cluster of small bright lights that dimmed as they dropped back downwards.

With a brief laugh escaping Sacarius he flashed a smile of his own, "Maybe I shouldn't have brought them up" he said, realizing that it might once again catch her attention, due to lack of attention the cup fell to the ground at his feet, picking it back up he focused on it and a green flame exploded into his hand, engulfing the cup and destroying it almost immediately. He crossed his arms over his chest and relaxed shifting his weight just enough to get comfortable as he leaned onto the tree, "So what would you like to talk about then? Nothing really comes to mind for me, and besides I think I've been the one asking all the questions lately, only fair you get a shot" he asked, offering her the chance to speak her mind.
