For a moment she stared into space trying to recall that particular dare he was referring to. Then she remembered. A question she refused to answer which turned it into a dare, a dare that required demonstrating her idea of a perfect kiss on someone. Someone who was in the room right now and who could apparently recall that night.
She felt the heat on her cheeks as she buried her face in the large decorative cushion she had been holding. Butterflies swarmed her stomach from just remembering that moment. It was one of the few times a kiss had made her feel so light headed. Slowly she raised her face and rested her chin on the pillow.
"Oh." She simply replied letting out the breath she had been holding. "You meant that dare." She said softly. "Wasn't really a dare either." She added avoiding his gaze.
"Well, I think think that that was about the best non dare that I had ever experienced," Kyrai wispered softly. He felt the blood rush back to his cheeks and looked away. He lost himself a bit to the memory and caught himself staring up at the ceiling. "I had been afraid that you were going to resent me for that. We had talked about it before, but still..." Kyrai turned and smiled at her warmly, this time the smile did reach his eyes. "It was a very scary." He turned back. "I hope I haven't made you uncomfortable. It's just...It's really good to see you again."
She shook her head 'no' before she spoke.
"I could never resent you, Kyrai. You know that....to me you were.....special." She smiled finding the right word.
Deep down she knew he had been way more than that. She did love someone else then. Someone who she admired very much and who returned her feelings. Feelings she treasured and tried to never betray. But she had never actually fallen in love. And she knew she eventually had, even though it had been a little late.
Hearing a cough she snapped out of her thoughts as Dio started to recall his experiences in truth or dare. She couldn't help but giggle. "I remember. You had the worst of luck with dares. You weren't very good at giving them either." She reminded him before adding.
"You can't leave. Violence does not come before friends." She smiled before patting the space on the couch next to her. "You guys should sit."

Kyrai felt his smile fade at the word "were." He made a hard swallow and looked up from his chair, "Um, I'm already sitting down." He sighed a bit and look back up at the ceiling, "I..." Kyrai tried to phrase it in a way that would be easy to understand, but wouldn't come off the wrong way. "You were...are special to me as well. It was why I didn't want to do anything that would have made you think less of me."

"Yeah I suppose you're right. I'm probably out of bullets by now anyways." *Dio casually strolled over to the bench Yadi was perched up and plopped down beside her kicking his dusty boots up on top of a glass coffee table that almost seemed to break under the weight of his steel plated kicks. He then adjust what must have been some sort of concealed armament that was digging into his ribs before turning to Yadi.* "Well if I sucked at dares so much then why don't you teach me oh wise master?"

She smiled. "I would have never thought any less of you no matter what, silly. Actually, I think at one point I wished you weren't so rightful..."
She said putting her index finger to her lip and looking towards the ceiling.
"After all, two people who both have a rightful conscious will never act on selfish wishes....which I've learned can make you really happy at times." She added before turning to Dio.
"A magician never shares their secret." She winked. "And don't you dare tell me I'm not a magician or I will make you go Boom." She warned before sticking out her tongue at him.
The diversity in seriousness of both conversations seemed to even each other out in a way that made her content.

Kyrai chuckled softly, "There were plenty of times that I found myself wishing that. There was a few times that we got pretty close to what ever the imaginary line was." Heat filled his cheeks again, and he quickly turned away to hide the reaction as more memories came flooding back, both happy and sad.
"Not good a dares, huh? I seem to remember you pole dancing." He shook his head slightly.

*Dio paused a minute to listen to what Kyrai was chiming in about with great interest.*
"Hmm I don't remember that dare very well at all. I think Yadi should give us a reminder of what that night was like."
*He spoke with a sly smile that almost reached from ear to ear.*

((I have to call it a night guys. So it's up to you whatever you want to do))
Putting the cushion on the armrest, Yadi lay her head down letting her eyes slowly close. The place still felt so familiar she didn't even remember she had another home to go to. With that she fell asleep.

*Dio was taken aback as Yadi basically passed out next to him. At first he took it as a bluff for her to get out of pole dancing so he poked her gently in the ribs but then she quickly slapped away his hand and snuggled deeper into the pillow drifting into a soft slumber.*
"Awesome timing Yadi."
*Dio muttered quietly as not to wake her. He then turned to Kyrai and shook his head.*
"Well there goes our excitement for the evening. Should we just leave her here then? I'm sure she'll be safe with the both of us hanging around."

Actually Dio, that one was your dare. Yadi and I were on the bed. It was your first T or D. Sanct gave the dare I believe."
He smiled a bit, and looked down at her sleeping. He gently picked her up and looked up at Dio. "There are some spare bedrooms that are okay to sleep in. I'll just put her in one and be back. You still be here?"

((I posted this before Kyrai left quit being impatient lol))
"Oh yeaaaaah. Forgot about that. God I'd make a terrible stripper I can't dance and I have allergic reactions to glitter."
*Dio watched as Kyrai lifted Yadi off of the couch next to him. He already missed her warmth but he knew she'd sleep more soundly in a bed rather than on a cheap and dusty sofa.*
"She's lucky I don't have that magic marker anymore. I'll be around unless I get bored waiting on you then you could probably find me outside using these crappy nature shots hanging on our walls for skeet practice."

Kyrai returned in a few moments without Yadi. She had been safely tucked in in one of the guest bedrooms on this floor. Until the rest of the building was finished, it was the safest place to sleep.
Kyrai walked over and tossed Dio a beer. "You still drink?"
