Kuro's stomach growled and he recoiled. "So hungry..." He collapsed from the pain in his gut. It had been days since his last meal - which were more like appetizers to a wolf his size - and the sun was not helping him any. Baring his fangs, he stood and eased closer. His rational mind kicked in and he realized he didn't want to kill his kin not matter if he was demon breed and she was not. "No... I cannot kill..." he struggled with himself.

stormy was torn beteen concern and releif. She was releived that he was unconcious but concerned that he had collapsped out of hunger and exhaustion. She eged closer to the strage wolf and gently nuged him and asked "are you ok?"

He looked up at her. Then noticed the gash in her side. "I am fine. You need more attention than me." With a weak smile, Kuro sat up. He wondered if that other wolf would come back. "I am not myself right now. What is your name?"

"I am Kurogane." His crystal blue eyes constantly looked at her wound. 'Kill her! Kill her NOW!' Kurogane violently shook his head of the cannibalistic thought, fighting his hunger with less and less resistance. He hoped the malicious conscience could be silenced if he distracted himself with a simple act such as digging into the dirt with his claws.

stormy watched him dig into the ground with his claws and thought "wtf why is he digging." stormy push that thought away and said " if you could find some white willow bark for me I could eat it and it would heal me." Kurogane gave her a strange look so stormy said " a white willow tree is EXRTEMY rare and has amazing healing properties, if you found one it would heal me and I would be able to help you hunt."

Kuro assumed she was some sort of healer based on her knowledge of healing remedies. Nodding he stood and noticed how shady this area was. Though he could not use his power, Kurogane kept it in mind for later. The black wolf darted off looking for this white willow bark.

stormy watched Kurogane leave and mumbled to herself " he is not so bad he seems like a kind wolf once you get to know him."

Kurogane searched the area quickly. He took a few water breaks before searching again. 'This stuff is hard to look for....' Kuro was going to give up after having lost more energy searching for a tree he had never heard of but he finally found it hoping it was what Stormy was looking for. His mind began to play with him again. 'You could let her die slowly, Kuro.'

it had been several hours since Kurogane had left and Stormy was getting worried " I hoped nothing happened to him." a little voice spoke in Stormys mind "that's not what's bothering you deep down you think that he forgot all about you and has left you here to die." Stormy shook her head she refused to listen to her inner demons

Kurogane came back to her with the bark in his mouth. It was the size of a piece of driftwood. He dropped it in front of her. "Here you go." He panted.

stormy quickly began chewing on the bark and within minutes she was completely healed. Stormy got up and said "well lets hunt, I don't know about you but I am starving."

Kurogane's stomach growled loudly. "Does that answer your question? Let's hunt." They wander the area looking for some game or anything they can take down. Kuro's suspicion about her healing abilities were confirmed. He wanted to know more about them. "So you have the ability to heal. Is that the extend of your power?"

"well I have the ability to heal others , but not myself, I also can put up barriers that can block physical as well as mental attacks." As Stormy and Kurogane continued to walk they came across a herd of deer. " are you up for deer for dinner?" Stormy waited for Kurogane's answer as she crouched down in attack position.

Kurogane nodded and crouched down. Deer were easy prey but without his power, he would have to work a bit for his food. "I'll start. Pounce on my lead." He spoke watching a deer limping slightly. He ran out at it as soon as it kneed its head down for grazing.
