Hearing that Adi was an acceptable nickname for Claudia, she smiled and nodded her head. The gypsy learned long time ago her name was a challenge and nicknames were necessary. She was the age of seven when she was finally able to properly say her name without have to slowly ease her way through it without pauses.
The mention of talking in private caught Adi's attention and she raised a brow out of curiosity. Clearing this was important and involving her or it wouldn't have been her included in the talk and just Nyru.
Nodding she stood from her seat as the solider across from her eyed the crowd. "Alright...I don't mind at all...."
With that said, she followed them both towards the upper levels towards the room she was staying in. Only Nyru softly directed Claudia to another just before her door and walking in she knew it was Nyru's. Giving a nod of thanks to her male companion for holding the door, she took a seat on the only window sill in the room.
As Nyru spoke an a far more serious demeanor, Rur'Adika spoke up. "And please if you want to talk in private the two of you, feel free to shoo me out; I won't mind..."
Adi wasn't even sure if this talk was going to involved her or even should, but she stayed due to being asked.

Nyru acknowledged Claudia's decision, and without hesitation he was ready to follow her. Surprising, Adi was on the same line as them and followed quickly without questions. The crowd of drunks seemed preoccupied in their own disoriented worlds, but only a few watched aimlessly before turning away right after. Her companion directed her to a private room that he had rented out for himself like she excepted him to. He was a gentleman to the end and it clearly showed when he held open the door for the gypsy.
The blonde took a quick examination of her surroundings. The room was quaint, but it would suffice for now she supposed. Like the other two, she leaned again the somewhat stained wall she was closest to. She spared no time and started to explain why she has summoned them. "Nyru, forget the queen. We're abandoning the mission at the moment and moving on to a new one. Adi is going to join us and we're going to find out why the monster attacked when it did. What was it? Where did it come from? Was it alone or in league with someone? If we do happen to stumble upon information about the Black Jewel and Wander, we keep it to ourselves. I know this sounds absurd, but this feels like the right path." She was waiting for the retaliation especially from Nyru. The path she spoke of was treason and no matter what rankings they were, they would be sentenced to death.

From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadowsNyru Statem
As they all found their places inside the dank room, the conversation led on. Adi was happy to leave but Claudia wanted them both in on this, and Claudia seemed to have a plan in place already. At first his reaction was filled with confusion, and then more frustration as she mentioned their ever protecting Queen, Declasia. She still thought the queen was against them... perhaps with good reason too... she did seem a bit lost recently but that was still not a good enoguh excuse if you didn't want to be locked up for life. And life is a long time for one of the Liber'Immunis... they were still damned with longevity, not quite as strongly as vampires, but still long enough to make prison unbearable. But she moved onto a better focus, solving the problem of the darkness that was coming. It all tied into the old stories... but Claudia had thebetter idea of solving it themslves rather than holding onto the childhood myths!
"I agree" Nyru began softly. " So far we only have information indicating its allegiance to death itself apparently... If only there was someone out there that had a better knowledge of the past and present... of stories and so on. I mean.. you're right. Something must be causing this, it seemed as though those things needed specific conditions to spawn, like they were being called-" he then widened his eyes and struck a glare at Claudia. "which reminds me!, earlier, before you arrived and before you awoke" he spoke to Adi then. "a messenger came to me and told me that the Queen needed us to know that the weathermancers of Shard are to blame for the vanishing shadows. they cleansed our skies and with it the nightmares were gone too... So... something must deffinitely be calling them... someone perhaps.. but we havn't the faintest idea who it could be.." he sighed, looking down to the side.

Settling in, by the mere tension in Claudia, the Gypsy woman had a feeling that this talk was far more serious then normal for the two of them. As an outsider, she remained quiet but intently listening. So when Claudia mentioned Adi joining their group and the expadition that they were to go on, she was quiet surprised.
"What me?!" she exclaimed. "You want me to come along?" pointing to herself in a manner that was both comical however, bewildered. Adi had never traveled with anyone aside from her family's caravan and Croix; who she would have to find in the stables.
Nyru didn't object to her joining either, which again surprised Rur'Adika. They were partners, however, seemingly effortlessly agreeing to her coming along, though she had no idea as to why. Still questioning this logic, Adi began to listen again, as they asked questions with no answers. Speaking of wisdom and knowledge that had long since been gone regarding the darkness that was coming. A deadly and risky adventure that could very well be a race against time...
Time...it brought Adi to a point in her life that she believed in such myths as the darkness but something else as well. Pulling a worn and aged piece of parchment from a pouch on her waist, the young stared at it. It wasn't a message but rather a listing of numbers; 07700 900 461. Given to her long ago by her great grandfather when he was laying on her death bed. A listing of numbers she was to use when in desperate need of help to call upon the strange wanderer she had dreamed about.
"Myths are lined with truths at its heart..." she thought to herself thinking of the words her great grandfather had spoke to her with little strength he had left.
Darkness was supposed to be a myth, yet not the other day she was facing it...what did that make the wanderer of old gypsy tales . Was he no myth as well?
Adi's thoughts wondered and questioned her childhood dreams and thoughts growing up. How she discarded her fanciful dreams of the wanderer as a young teen for more practical matters. Adi's finger gentle stroked over the ink of the numbers and a hint of subconscious magic going into her fingers to sparkle and glow across those numbers ever so slightly.
Would he come? But as the thought crossed her mind, Adi laughed mentally at herself. So quickly she was thrown back into her childhood dreams, but a part of her would always hold out and keep calling for such an adventure. To meat the man known to wander the skies and stars, to where her fingers and feet could never reach.
Oh how she envied him...and admired him so...that strange man...

Nyru agreed easily and why shouldn't he? She knew what they were getting themselves into and dragging along an innocent gypsy with them. The blonde listened to Nyru carefully as he referred to the stories that use to scare them as children. He was indicating that the occurrences at Shard and in the City of Crows are connect to those tales. Oddly enough, she was on the same page as her partner.
Suddenly, he brought up something interesting about a message coming to see he. The weathermancers were being accused of the shadows? Why? They fought in a war, and the thanks they get is being wrongfully blamed for something out of their control. The Queen probably hid the information until this moment, she wasn't making a good impression for herself. Claudia grimaced before Adi spoke up and the female's reply sounded a bit forceful. "You fought against the same enemy as us, did you not? You are not only a witness to that monstrosity, but now you know our plans. If you leave how do I know you won't tell our secrets? Besides, your a light wielder and can fend well against the darkness unlike us." The shadowmancer made her point, and the gypsy was staying whether she liked it or not.
Going back to the very last part of Nyru's comment she replied, "We'll figure out who or what is behind this if we explore further into the things we know right now. We can always assume who it will be, but we need proof." Coming from someone who kept blaming their supposed "ruler or queen" for a lot of events. She sighed as she watched Adi cress a small piece of paper at the corner of her eye.

Claudia was one to keep her words straight... and to the point. Nyru couldn't help but feel slightly for Adi when Claudia became more serious, but he could not disagree with her in the slightest. Adi was a part of this now, and they would have to try and cloud her mind, which is ridiculously difficult. He didn't want Adi to leave, she was.. different and could protect them. Not that he was interested in her in any serious way, at all... it was impossible. But he somehwat enjoyed having her around. It was always Claudia and him, he always enjoyed Claudia's company too, but things became very regular. Back to the point from his own thoughts he saw how the gypsie girl had pulled out a piece of parchment, taking some sort of admiration for it. What made her take it out now?
"Adi... what is that?" he asked, half concerned, half intrigued.

Chestnut eyes stared at the blonde in both bewilderment and frustration. Though she had not said it fully outright, though there was proof enough in her words of unable to trust Adi. The Gypsy was being forced to follow them, whether she liked it or not. Her freedom of choice taken away because she couldn't be trusted and she was useful.
The anger build in her chest, she had so many words to say to that, but for Rur'Adika, she was too angry to speak. With that she gave a glare to Claudia and just turned her narrowed eyes to the window staring out in an attempt to calm herself and not yell; she hated yelling.
Ignoring their voices now, Adi just ran her finger over the numbers and piece of parchment in a stroking fashion. Letting her mind wander away from what was around her and the knowledge she had no choice in the matter. Neither could she run away or fight...clearly these two were well trained and far stronger then her. Nyru could probably throw her over his shoulder and carry on like she weighed nothing. Even if she was kicking and screaming...
Adi stopped her thoughts there and focused fully on the numbers and piece of aged paper they were written upon. That was when Nyru spoke up and questioned her about it.
"Oh...um this..." she said lifting it slightly so the numbers faced her. "...nothing...old family hand me down I guess you could say," she said innocently and with a smile, as if she still was't boiling with anger. Adi had been known to have a temper, however, she rarely showed it.

Nyru could tell how fond Adi was of the yellowed piece of parchment. The female even glared at her because she knew for a fact that she wasn't trusted among the two. She would earn her trust in time, and in that time she had many things to prove to Claudia. It took almost two years before the blonde put her full trust in Nyru and would even put her life into his hands. He thought the same about her at least she assumed he did. The female shadowmancer noticed how introverted the gypsy became when the paper was brought up. She was surprised that the girl answered one of them at the moment. Her demeanor may be calm, but her vibes were unpleasant. Claudia pushed off the wall and walked over to Adi. She reached out her hand and stared at Adi seriously. "Give me the paper. Or tell us what's on it. If not I won't hesitate to take it by force especially if your going to plan to us it against us."

The mention of the paper made the conversation become heated, Nyru could have sworn the vibe emanated like raw fire before him, particularly from Claudia's gaze. Nyru, specifically now, didn't want any such heated arguments, Claudia of all people needed to stay calm at the moment. Nyru however, standing relatively close to Adi leaned over and could just about see what was on the paper. "Don't worry" came his calm and almost coarse voice, perhaps he was getting a cold? "it's just a number, nothing she can do with a number", he then leaned back against the wall, his dark hair following his angle against the doorframe. In the twilight from outside the window his face was pale, like many Daywalkers, but his hair shimmered and his eyes glistened dark, dark blue, like the deepest parts of a blue ocean during midnight.

Whatever leash she had on her temper at the moment virtually snapped at the blonde demanding and stern tone. The parchment wasn't that big of a deal, however, that Claudia was she was taking her freedom of choice and now leaving her no choice in handling her own possessions. Narrow eyed, the dark hared gypsy had enough.
Even when Nyru spoke up and snatched a few of the parchment it did not settle Adi's ire. "Yes it's a number just as I said. I may not be a particularly good magic users, but I'm pretty sure even you can't do much with a listing of numbers," she snapped while standing and coming to stand in front of Claudia, a foot apart maybe.
"Neither do I appreciate a near stranger demanding my assistance just because I'm a useful weapon. I really don't trust you any more then you do me, however, you don't hear me complaining about it or making demands of you removing your weapons because they make me nervous now do you!"
Huffing and piece of parchment clutched in her fists, Adi crossed her arms over her chest, hard chestnut eyes still narrowed in on the ordering blonde. "I'm not a solider, I'm not from this land, and I'm a proud Gypsy. We don't take orders well and we don't handle our freedom being taken from us well or lightly. It wasn't so disagreeable before, but now I'm really considering just walking out that door and leaving all your problems behind me."
It wasn't so much about a piece of parchment paper now, but what it represented and just how much Claudia was taking everything from her that made Adi what she was, a Gypsy. Stubborn people and strong hearts with a sense of pride, they were not ruled and they were not unruly. Rur'Adika was not going to back down and kneel to Claudia's demands just because she didn't trust her and wanted her simply for the light magic she had in her possession.

Nyru obviously didn't want to deal with a cat fight so he learned over the gypsy's shoulder to confirm that the parchment wasn't a threat. The blonde knew not to underestimate the female and a few mere numbers became a great deal to her. Her male counterpart backed away to reclaim his spot against the wall making herself comfortable. Claudia, however, stood her ground until Adi pleaded or would try to pick a fight. Her choice would decide her fate if she wasn't cautious with her actions or words. The girl was unwise to perform both at the same time.
Adi raged against the blonde and she stood there silently, her mood unchanged. The female's body tightened by the tense meaning of all the words she spoke trying to stand up against Claudia. The shadowmancer smirked as she closed her emerald eyes backing down or it looked that way. "You have guts and your not afraid to voice your opinions as well as your thoughts." The started stepping back some of the wooden boards creaked eerily under her step. She stopped and in the blink of an eye, she pulled out her bow that was mounted on her back along with the quiver of arrows and loaded an arrow onto it. She pointed the tip of the arrow at Adi and said, "Go ahead and leave, but I hope you know that I never miss."

At first, Nyru thought he had done the right thing to calm matters by telling Claudia that the numbers meant nothing. Truth was the oncoming storm was inevitable! He should have guessed one of the girls would break at the other, but surprisingly it was Adi, defending her cause. Nyru stared wide eyed, as the argument went on his heart began beating at pace with the speed of the well pronounced words came out. And then claudia retorted with her own methods of a short witty answer and a threat of her skills. Nyru sighed, he was tired of arguments, recently he just wanted things to be calm, but ever since they started their mission they've have nothing but judgement, prejudice and silly, petty arguments between people they hardly even knew.
"Enough!" Nyru said, loudly, he then stepped right between the readied arrowhead and Adi, he looked at neither of them instead looked directly below the window before him that lit him up like a silhouette between them. "Claudia" he began, "get rid of that arrow! You can't kill her just for walking away, what do you think the Guildeam would have to say?" he tried to sound between angry, concerned and still her friend with his tone. "Adi" he then said, "You're welcome to leave but you need to understand that anything you have heard is confidential, but more importantly your magic saved our lives, I... We, need you, Rur'Adika." he sighed for a brief moment and hung his head. Speaking more quietly he said " I'm sorry you have been caught up in this"

Claudia's comment of her sticking up for her own opinions and thoughts, she knew she was going somewhere with it. Crossing her arms over her chest, the soft jingle of her bangles could be heard in the heavy silence as the blonde stepped back. Before a blink of her eyes the blonde had her bow out and an arrow drawn.
The sight of it, the look in Adi's eyes was clearly disappointed. Rather then anger or whatever fiery emotions she was feeling moments ago was gone. In its place, and particularly in her eyes, was distrust, sadness, and shock. Her arms dropped lax at her sides as Nyru finally stepped in.
"A hostage situation then. Force to cooperate or death...clearly I helped the wrong people..." she droned her voice hollow and strained.
Nyru was more reasonable but honestly she wasn't as trusting of him as she had been. Claudia, a strong woman in spirit however, perhaps too strong clouded her judgment of both of them.
"I was well aware this was all highly sensitive Nryu; I'm a Gypsy not an idiot," she said hotly, crossing her arms once more. "Who am I to tell, if i was even going to tell anyone which I'm not, I don't stay in one place for long; I'm invisible practically." she said in an exasperated way, arms flailing slightly. Adi listened and Nyru's earnest way of asking her to stay and apology for her situation.
Crossing her arms once more, Adi sighed and roughly sat down in the windowsill once more. Her expression however, angered and concentrated now. She couldn't believe the mess she found herself in. She liked to believe that all people were innately good, perhaps other run astray but maybe with reasons. Adi believed this was one of those times, but she never imagined she would be involved. Let alone forced, practically a hostage held at arrow point by one and asked by the other.
"Would it be so hard to as least ask me? Nyru at least has the decency to apologize and ask me! Ask if I could stay be helpful and perhaps do some good for some people...I could have possibly agreed to that," she said raising her head, arms still crossed. "But to demand, order me to stay and be useful like I'm your own personal weapon!? You should have expected some resistance at that!"

Nyru's voice yelled out in frustration towards the two females. He commanded Claudia to lower her defenses and possibly stray away from her forceful methods. The male was resourceful and persuasive at the same time which made Claudia realize how unreasonable she was being. She would actually resort of violence to keep her and her partners plans in the shadows. The blonde was in fact disgusted with herself because the way she looked at Asi was the way the queen looked at her.
The gypsy spoke to Nyru calmly, but when it came to her it was pure anger. She had every right to act the way she did, Claudia was such a fool trying to control the situation. She was pampered and treated like a princess in the Land of Crows, but this wasn't her domain. She can't keep going around using the same manner she used to or else she might push people away even her closest friend. The girl ceased fire and placed her weapons on the ground before walking up to Nyru. She stopped and stood facing in the direction of the door instead of the window. "You know kill is such a strong word? Maybe I wouldn't and maybe I wouldn't, you know me better than I know myself. You would know the decision I would make, wouldn't you?" She said to Nyru afraid to look into his deep blue eyes.
"Adi, your a gypsy, a user of light, and yet you consider yourself invisible when you shine like a beckon in the darkness? Your right though. I should have asked, but I was so afraid you would decline. I want you apart of the team because I'm trying to plan a future. This mission we're about to embark on is dangerous and...I want someone I can trust to take care of Nyru." The arrangement wasn't even about the piece of parchment, but something much greater that harbored in the back of her mind. She could careless that she was defying the queen and putting her life at risk. She knew her partner would follow no matter what the odds. And she knew that if someone was going to end up dead it would probably be her. She wanted to ensure that Adi can be trusted as well as a protector for Nyru. They probably won't be a team forever and she knew it. She lightly touched Nyru's shoulder not waiting for a reply and walked out of the room closing the door softly behind her. The shadowmance sighed as she head out to the streets to take a short stroll to clear her mind.

From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadowsNyru Statem
After he said what he said ti seemed to cause the tension to stop for a split second but it soon came back, and no less than an ounce stronger. Not only that, Adi said how she she must have helped the wrong people. A sinking feeling set in as Rur'Adika moved away towards the windowsill, it was the feeling of loss, the feeling that twisted your gut telling you that something was wrong and Nyru hated it. When Claudia rejoined the heated debate, he found himself speechless. He stared at Claudia blankly, with a face that said 'you can't be asking me this question?', he was literally torn in two. In his head he heard himself say No... but he was never brave enough to say it. He didn't want to lose his only companion, the other royal guards were too far up their own arses to enjoy being around.
And then she made a final speech before leaving the room, Nyru couldn't say anything. He wanted to be able to talk to her, to say that he forgave her and that she didn't have to beat herself up so much. But another part of him told him to ignore her, or to tell her that she couldn't keep losing her temper like that. And then he remembered Adi was in the room too, looking over his shoulder he could see her there in the twilight... "You're not a prisoner..." he began softly. "Claudia has only ever had me and i've only ever had her, but now we've finally found someone like you i guess you could say its hard to let go. You can leave if you want, we're only good at keeping people away...-"
From outside came an old, almost screeching sound that seemed to whoosh in and out of existence, echoing in the air outside in the streets. Nyru then narrowed his brows and looking out the glowing window, a singular bright light flashed softly with the sounds. He then began to fear it was more shadow monsters, giving a glance to Adi to see if she was still there or not, he looked back at the window. Wiping away the condensation he found himself staring at a blue box, like an old phone box, and then heard the soft clunk of it somehow landing. He then raised his brows and gasped, dark blue eyes wide open as he said "Claudia's out there!" Like a bolt of lightning he turned on his heels leaving behind a trail of his tattered cape and waist cloth, stopping at the doorway (if Adi was still there) to hang onto the frame as he tugged himself backwards to give her a stare, a mixture of urgency and request for her to come with him, he just wanted things to work out again, and if there were more shadow creatures... he hoped that by the Angel Lysandiel she would come with them.
