Runa made a face. "Hate that stuff," she grumbled. "Tastes bad and makes your judgment cloudy." Her expression returned to a more peaceful, pensive expression. "... My employers enjoyed it, though..."

"People you work for. A plowhorse's employer would be a farmer, an Azrien who hauls lumber could be employed by a carpenter or a lumber mill... Azrien can hire others to act as their bodyguards and the like," Runa explained. "My employers grew and sold apples."

Carli tilted her head, visions of Aila's farm going back. Did that mean that Aila was hers and Maera's and Father's and Damir's and everyone's employer? She'd never heard the term before. They all just lived with each other and helped out in return for everything they got. Food. Shelter, companionship. She shrugged and turned back to Runa. "I'm not sure I understand, But I think I come from a different background than you."

Runa smiled wryly. "I'm glad," she replied simply. "My family background was fine, but the rest of it was... complicated." Especially with her first memories as a zombie and the age of the buildings that she'd remembered when they were freshly built...

Carli laughed at Runa's expresssion. "I have two siblings. One brother and one sister. Both aren't Drafts. My mother is a fairy, one of my fathers is a draft, and the other, is an evil aligned male from the South." She replied with a chuckle. "I was conceived by all three. That's were my comment about my dad, Charli, liking human liquor too much came from."

Runa snorted. "That smirk wasn't innocent," she shot back with a small grin. Nipping at her mane, she found herself adding, "And the naive part isn't hard to fix..." Though she loved Carli's innocent kindness. Runa would protect that to the ends of the earth if she could.

Carli grinned, a blush lighting her cheeks as she nipped back at Runa lightly before returning to the posture she had been before. She didn't want to appear to being careful around Runa, as if she was delicate, but she was scared of being a bit to rough on accident. "I know some things..." She protested.

Runa chuckled, lightly running her nose up Carli's neck. "Of course you do," the zombie mare replied unsarcastically. After all, the blue draft mare had found the diamond hidden in a heart of stone. "And together, we can learn more things." For Carli, it would be learning about the world. For Runa... it would be learning about life and love. Well, relearning in a way.
