Laxion felt lucky to have had such a normal life.. or a better one anyway. Less bumpy. But then again, it was obstacles like that which he believed made them stronger. First, he tilted his head in reaction to Alexis' story... he had heard something similar in Zakernand a while back. But then he turned to R.E.D. He never even knew... no wonder she was so... secluded he thought. Murmering under his breath he repeated her name. 'I only wish my past wasn't the only simple one' he said to sympathise the other two girls with him. 'but..' he then said. 'That's quite the name? Isn't it? I mean... i don't want to offend you but... the headmaster named you like an object.' he didn't want to offend her, he was just caring for her past. He then quickly added 'Did you... i mean. I guess you had Headmaster Epoh? He started on my last year... ((sorry if timelines don't fit with whatever changing of headmasters, but i believe Laxion is older? if not we'll just call this wibbly wobbly timeh whimey stuff haha)). He never seemed too... i don't know.'

Alexis nodded and rested her arm on the sofa arm, then layering her chin upon her arm afterwards. She hungered for Red's answer, she didn't think that was a suiting name for her at all.

Laxion nodded as he understood what Red was saying about Epoh, that was understandable of that man. 'I never liked him' he commented at the end. He poked at the wood int he fireplace, debating how to light it as Red continued to talk more. He muttered under his breath how he had no use of fire magic, but then Alexis spontaneously caused a flame in the middle which made Laxion jump. He then focused on Red just at the right moment when he heard the words 'killed you'. And she wouldn't have given it another thought?. LAxion stared across, not sure of how to react. Alexis' face was close to match as well. He then turned more silent, less friendly. More how he was when they first met, closed off, military fashioned.

'i could have killed you too' he said in a monotone voice. Blinking once he walked closer to her and matched shoulders as the two stood shoulder to shoulder facing opposite directions. He then spoke quietly. 'I've always been serious, and i would never back my word against the corps. And to be killed by you...' he seemed to stop speaking. He sounded... weird. It was like they were never friends. Taking a step behind her he then brought up and hand and without warning... he planted his hand on her head and ruffled up her hair quickly jokingly commenting 'would have been embarassing!' with a smile on his face as he put an arm around Red for comforting her. Looking to her, their cheeks only inches apart he said 'That was then, even i could not have been phased if i had hurt you on that ship... im pretty sure the both of us were wary about each other to begin with. And i haven't had friends like you or Alexis since before the corps' he finished positively.

Alexis in the background gave out a large sigh as she realised the situation was a joke. For a moment she was convinced that Laxion was going to walk out on them.

Seems that Laxion's joke worked just as well as he had hoped! Luckily she wasn't too shaken by it after the joke was out and they were all sharing friendship with one another. But she wanted a new name. Laxion, keeping one arm around R.E.D looked to Alexis. The wizard then looked back, and then to R.E.D and then back to Laxion. 'I like Red' said Laxion, 'without those dots in between' he was commenting on how the name was an initialism. Alexis then placed a hand on her chin as she said 'I think that Red's nice too... but... if you want something different... we could keep to the same theme. Like... Poppy... ' she held her head down in thought. She then mumbled 'or...Scarllet... or ..' she then lifted her head and tilted it slightly as she asked 'Ruby?'.

Alexis smiled and nodded as she leaned backwards and her back crashed down on the rest of the sofa as she lay down and looked at the high ceiling. 'Ruby is young, fun, perfected and doesn't sound too silly or sophisticated. ' then Laxion smiled and said 'yeah, so, Laxion, Ruby and Alexis, Team Elixer. I like the sounds of that' ending with a small smile and a chuckle. The fire was now crackling with warmth as the golden sun continued to descend, letting darkness across the night sky.

Then Alexis' device started ringing a song. 'see you as small and helpless, they see you as just a chi-' it began as she jumped up, her legs dangling over the sofa's arm. 'we are lightning, straying from the thunder!' it persisted! Laxion couldn't help but start getting into the beat of her ring tone. Alexis meanwhile was narrowing her brows as she fumbled for her mobile, the sleek piece of glass that acted like a multifunctional device. 'sorry guys' she began as she stood up and answered the call. 'Im surprised its even working! Be one second' she said as she ran out into the ktichen.

'Seems like Entei is beginning to clear up' Laxion joked. He even liked the song, sounded a little familiar. Perhaps it had been performed at the Hypersphere Stadium.

As Ruby looked out of the window, and asked about an adventure, Laxion stared over yonder towards the reliquary building. He then looked back to her and matched her smirk. 'You're thinking of going the one place that is out of bounds?' he asked her, raising a suspicious brow. 'how would we even get up there' he then began 'the tower is floating several hundred feet above the ground!'. Alas, they were in a world of magic and he had abused that knowledge. Though he wasn't used to using magic all that often, being a part of the corps and all.

Alexis meanwhile was talking to someone in the kitchen, pacing backwards and forwards past the doorway. One moment she would have a nail in her teeth, the next she would be twirling her hair or others she would be flailing her arms around in some mimic gesture to whomever she was speaking with. 'i know right?!' she then exclaimed. It would then go into quiet mumbling again before she said 'Wish i would have the chance to see the headmaster fighting the Scarred..'

Ruby was actually right, ofcoarse, and Laxion even used air magic as a natural talent. Perhaps being in the corps for so long has made him neglect the possibilities. Funny... however... for all the races of Magic Earth have better endurance and skill than that of mundace humans of Non-magic Earth. This meaning those who are battle ready can jump higher, can run faster and sustain more damage than normal humans. But then she said 'nyru'. With widened eyes he stared at her and then laughed. 'its fine' he chuckled. 'an old friend?' he asked.

Alexis then finished on the phone with a mighty 'seeya girl!'. She then paced back into the room and rubbed her hands against the crackling fire. 'Sorry 'bout that guys, my friend from the academy just wanted to check up on me and then news of the shadow and curruption' she seemed to suddenly start rambling with words 'and the recent guildeam stuff announcements and even results from our last exam came out which i missed so it was just all so exciting! Yanno?!' she stared across the room at the other two and suddenly said 'uh...hehe' as she scratched the back of her head.

After scratching her head she smiled, Laxion stared forwards tot he girls waiting for the wizard's reply. 'Yeah, well, those guys that attacked us on the zeppelin and back at Skyfall... they've been all over the place apparently. Entei was eclipsed in a great shadow! That was why my technology stopped working! But its all good now... and even Shard City was apparently going to be attacked by the same guys, its all over the news. But now, apparently, Shard City is preparing for a mini war or something' she began to mumble again. 'Like, that's all i know so far, my friend is still waiting for the 'big news' to be released, something about why they need to be careful tonight or something.'.

'mini war?'Laxion then questioned, concerned for the cities whilst they stood here. 'yeah, but the Guildeam is reassuring everyone that it will be okay. Entei has a great defence system well outside of its borders, but Shard City is apparently going to be getting the bulk of whatever it is coming at them, but the Guildeam seems perfectly prepared for everything.'
'how strange, why... how can anyone be so calm if they're expecting a war. Who with?'
'the scarred... i think.'
'figures' Laxion then sighed.

There was a brief pause before Laxion stood up and said 'So, how about a wander? We could go catch a glimpse at that place Ruby mentioned earlier... and... you know. Imagine if we somehow got magically lifted inside the Reliquary Tower... that would be terrible hey?' he was obviously hinting. Alexis meanwhile fondled with her hair whilst thinking about it. 'hm' she began. I'm sure they won't notice us leaving the room... i doubt they'd even come check on us really' she then added with a smile.

Looking over the balcony, the three lined themselves as they looked over, hanging their heads. They didn't seem too high, there was a nice walkway below them that even lead directly to the next floating island. But there was a lot of buildings over there, perhaps residence? Though the lights were slowly turning off one by one, so it shouldn't be too hard to get by. 'So, how exactly do you plan on getting down?' Laxion asked, looking to Ruby. Meanwhile however, Alexis was already balancing herself over the edge with her arms wide out on either side. Obviously, she was attempting to step onto the nearby wall that managed to level off with the rising hill of a path just a little while away.
