Truth be told, Jason did see such a action as he was thrown over her back and therefore unable to see anything in front of her. "Sorry...didn't see..." He said from the floor. "But...would of been...awesome." He added that so as not to upset her. She sounded absolutely ecstatic, and even if he didn't share those sentiments, he didn't want to bring her down.

He also noticed her stop when she landed on her injured leg, frowning at the nasty bites that had been inflicted. "You don't need to worry about me." He replied. "My injured aren't so serious." He just felt exhausted.

Sitting up, he searched in his coat pocked for the set of runic bandages. "Stand still a moment" He said, unwrapping and winding them around the bites on her leg. "There you go, that should take the sting out. But you should go to the moon lounge for a little while to get them looked at, just encase there has been any venom injected."

The sudden affectionate gesture caught him off guard, but he returned the hug anyway, patting her gently on the back.

"I didn't really do that much. Just run around looking like a idiot. You did most of the work." Jason said.

"Heh..." Jason laughed nervously at the amount of things he had done. "You still helped. Your optimistic attitude, your bravery. Hell if you hadn't carried me out of there I wouldn't be here right now."

Reminded about the reason they actually went to all that trouble, he pulled out of his coat pocket a five pointed star, with the middle coated in lapis lazuli. "W...wow, this looks quite interesting..." He turned the item over in his hand. "...Wonder what it does."

"Ah....N-no thanks..." Jason seemed to hold onto his prize even more now, afraid Ofelia would start getting ideas.

Jason had a horrible premonition that his item could be more dangerous then he first though, and he was tempted to trade. Just a little.

"Oh, um, yeah, I think so." It would make sense to go and ask someone how to use these things. Maybe the higher ups would know more?
