Alexis exhaled as he finished the song, not quite realizing he'd in essence serenaded Aoi. He noticed her blush, but didn't realize what it was, having never seen one before. "Did you get hurt and not mention it or is it something else?" he said with gentle concern in his voice. He exhaled slowly, setting the guitar aside as he stood. He absently mused that his skin felt itchy and sticky, which happened after a while in the sea. A small smile flashed over his face, though he wasn't sure how the heat of where he planned to go next would affect Aoi. "Come on, I want to show you something," he said as he walked towards the opening roughly seven feet to Aoi's left before he dove into the water, well aware that it was a marked difference from the cool water to the moist heat of the nearby hot spring. He wondered if Aoi would let him wash her hair, though he'd let her do the same for him or more, if she desired.

Aoi had a pale shade of pink across her face the whole time that she listened to Alexis singing, though she did not realize this. "Huh? Oh! I'm fine I promise... I uhm... was just listening to your singing... It's really good." she said as she looked at the water, a bit embarrassed that she had been caught blushing. She noticed taht Alexis had gotten in the water and then heard him asking her to come with him to see something. "All right," She then had to make her way to where Alexis had dived into the water and she dove in after him. The water was considerably warmer than what she had been in before, though it did not bother her much. It was true that she prefered cooler water over warmer water, but this was not boiling or anything, so she would be fine. She didn't know how it would be taken, but she swam right along side Alexis, taking his hand so he could lead her to where it was he wanted to show her.{{ooc: I'm so sorry that I didn't quote you right in my last post >.> I should have checked that before just posting sweatdrop }}

Alexis glanced at Aoi with a smile that some would have called roguish, though he didn't know that as the surfaced in a cavern that was about a third of the size of the main cavern, dominated by a broad steaming pool that took up two thirds of the cavern. "I found this by accident once and found it good for relaxing and bathing, though I wasn't sure how you'd react to the different temperature," he said as he pushed himself out of the water with a soft sigh, noting that his bathing supplies would last a bit longer, fortunately. "I had thought of asking of you wanted me to wash your hair, though it may feel too intimate for you," he said as he slid into the pool, unsure of Aoi would be interested or of she'd want to join him.

Swimming along, Aoi decided to let go of Alexis' hand once they surfaced. She did not know if he felt uncomfortable with his hand being held by some random stranger, who was a mermaid no less, though she guessed that if he'd have had a problem he'd have pulled away. "It's a bit warmer than I'm used to, though it's not a problem. I used to find underwater steam vents to warm up in when I felt the need to relax." She said before hauling herself out of the water and sitting with her tail pulled against her.
"I don't think that it would be too much of a problem... I mean I used to be pampered, spoiled and everything else before I ran from home, due to my family's status, though once we lost everything a lot of that stopped... And I haven't had much attention given to me since I ran away from home." she added as she looked at Alexis, her teal eyes glittering slightly.{{ooc:}}

Alexis glanced at Aoi, frowning slightly. "Trust me, I know what it's like. My mother died when I was seven and a few days later my older sister was found raped and murdered... my father was rarely around for either of us, and I fled to the one place I wasn't judged... and I never want to go back," he said quietly. "I'll admit I don't know that much about pampering someone, but anytime you want something, all you need to do is ask," he said with a smile. He liked Aoi, though he wouldn't be all that surprised if she got bored after a while and moved on.

Aoi saw Alexis frowning and she automatically regretted telling him that she had had a lot of money where she came from and was basically flooded with attention where she had lived before. She was about to apologize when she heard him speaking. She felt her heart breaking after hearing him out and she felt so bad for how much he had lost. Sure, she didn't exactly have a home right then, though hre family was still alive and well at home and were probably wondering where she was, if they didn't already think her to be dead.
"It's all right. You don't have to know how to pamper someone, since there's not really any specific way to do so. Just do what you think feels right and I'll let you know if I don't like it or not." she said, her voice holding sympathy and compassion for Alexis.{{ooc:}}

Alexis tilted his head thoughtfully. He had a few ideas in mind. "So you wouldn't mind me rubbing your back and washing your hair?" he said carefully to make sure she wouldn't mind the physical intimacy of the deed, as he doubted she'd noticed the few books he'd saved up.

"That'd be fine." Aoi said, giving Alexis permission to do as he wished, at least to an extent. She would definately let him know if there was something being done that she did not consent to. And she would stop it right away if she had to. She did not know if Alexis would allow her to give him any sort of attention and she wanted to ask, yet she decided that could wait a while because she wanted to get a little pampering before interrupting him.{{ooc:}}

Alexis smiled faintly. He wasn't familiar with the female body, though for what he had in mind it wouldn't be too bad. "Do you mind lying on your stomach with your hair kinda out of the way? I managed to find a book on something called 'massage' that someone apparently lost," he said with a shrug. He had never tried it, so he wasn't sure how good he was at it.

Aoi was waiting to hear or see what Alexis was going to try to do to 'pamper' her. And as she did she heard it be asked if she would lie on her stomach and move her hair out of the way. She guessed right away what he was going to do and she thought that she needed a good massaging to rid herself ot the stress that had been building over the time that she had been running. "All right." she said as she lay on her stomach, pulling her hair over to one side. She had been massaged before and she very much enjoyed it, even if the people weren't always the best at it.{{ooc:}}

Alexis tilted his head as he carefully started massaging Aoi's skin, mildly curious though he found it interesting that her skin was remarkably soft yet firm with muscle. It didn't surprise him that much, though he could tell she was tense, most likely from extended use. He knew the warmth of the hot spring would help her muscles relax, though he wondered if she'd noticed that she was lying on an area of the floor of the cavern that was covered by softer fabric to keep other muscles from touching the heated stones. He himself didn't mind the warmth at all, though he wondered if Aoi had noticed the shampoos and conditioners he'd managed to gather. I don't know if she'd let me wash her skin as well or not; I doubt it, though, he thought.

_Hoshiyuri_ The heat from the stones beneath Aoi and the fabric that she hadn't noticed felt wonderful on her tense muscles. She hadn't felt this relaxed, even if it wasn't very much at all, in a very long time, due to her constantly running. She did not like running and that's why she desperately wanted to find a place that she could stay and not have to keep moving. But she feared that she'd probably overstay her welcome with Alexis and yet again have to keep moving. She didn't like that thought, but it was inevitably going to creep into her mind at one point or another. She rested her eyes some, but was not going to fall asleep as she felt Alexis massaging her.{{ooc:}}

Alexis tilted his head thoughtfully, massaging her shoulders and upper back; the lowest he decided to go was the middle of her back. "This is part of the reason I like this cavern... even if I don't bathe, I can just lie back and relax, though I'll admit I have fallen asleep a few times," he said with a half smile. Also he knew of a couple of dolphins that came up into the cavern and visited, and sometimes his little naps here ended up with somewhat rude and startling wake-up calls.

Laying there with her head resting on her arms, Aoi was enjoying her massage; the first that she had had in years. She sighed softly as she lay there, trying her best not to just doze off because she was afraid that she would be rude if she did so. "Mhmm... This is really nice here." she said in a contented sigh. She felt him rubbing down to her lower back, though said nothing because she was relaxed and didn't want to do anything that would make the pampering stop. Although, if she started to feel uncomfortable due to how Alexis was rubbing her she would tell him.{{ooc:}}

Alexis shifted slightly, scooping up a small shell with one hand and dipping it in the warm-hot water. "I find it good for relaxation, if nothing else," he said quietly as he trickled the warm water into her beautiful lavender-blue hair. He found it attractive, though he wasn't going to admit it.
