Looks like I'll finish my draft either today or in the next couple of days. As my computer can't handle too much work at once, I'm probably cutting out Miranda commentary entirely (sorry) since it is a good deal of effort trying to look up quotes to use if I don't know them by heart (and I DO know plenty by heart, but not enough, and it would be forced). I'll try throwing in some Tiki-like commentary where I give my opinion on a chapter/it's place in the plot and such (love your commentary, Tiki! Love seeing everyone's commentary, really) but it'll likely be more about the chapter design so it's something a little different at least.
Onto the update!
In this segment I recruit probably my favorite of the second generation characters and start having her rock it!
Paralogue 17: The Threat of Silence Turns: 7, 0 count Total Turns: 51 still Heroes: Lucina and Laurent
Seems I only go to the Paralogues when I NEED resources or abilities I don't have to complete the actual chapters. Otherwise, I'd go straight through the next main chapter and save the Paralogue for a rainy day. This was no exception; I'd have put Walhart in his place first, but to do it in the minimum number of turns I'd require a second Galeforce unit. Which means it's time to recruit Severa. Which means I need Cordelia and Lon'qu to get hitched ASAP. Fortunately, they're already close to it, so I did this Paralogue to have them go all the way. I wanted to focus on Lon'qu as much as possible since he hasn't even promoted yet and the more levels he gets, the higher Severa's base stats will be, and I fed him all I could, but unfortunately, the way this map plays leaves it partially out of my hands since the map is mostly Enemy Phase driven. He got as many kills as I could feed him on the Player Phase though, and DID get enough to promote to Griffon Rider once it was complete (and he also got to kill the boss). Lucina is the one who stole the show though. While I'm busy protecting Miss Tiki with the typical V-formation, damn near everything targetted her. I'm not sure why. There were certainly less harmful units, what with Lucina carrying that effective-against-dragons 14 mt Parallel Falchion of hers. She hit level 20, promoted, and then hit level 3 as a Great Lord. It was crazy. Her support partner was Laurent because he was who was available, but he did boost the extra damage she'd cause from Ignis, at least (and they unlocked their C support from the chapter). Retrospectively, I should've given her a Bronze Sword so she'd hopefully kill less and let Lon'qu kill more, but 20/20 hindsight, as always. Lon'qu and Cordelia finally tie the knot and Lon'qu hit level 10 and promotes finally. Off to get the fabulous Severa.
Map commentary in purple. For distinction (and for Plegia!), and because I'll miss the Miranda commentary. Awakening gets (quite justifiably) ragged on for only featuring Rout and Defeat Commander objectives. AND for lackluster map design. Well for a "Rout" map, the objective may as well be "Defend Tiki for 7 turns" (although I have heard of the chapter being one-turned on Hard mode with the right units). Even if you're in range, the enemies just ignore your units to hone in on Tiki if at all possible. This isn't the only map that plays more like a Defend map, either. There's Chapter 6 where you have to defend Emmeryn, and to a much looser degree, Brady's Paralogue has defend elements in it sort of, too. But Brady's can rather easily be one turned, being a Defeat Commander chapter (then again: so can 2-Endgame of FE10, which IS a Defend map). And arguably, a "Rout" objective works better here than some actual Defend maps in the series since there are examples like the 2-Endgame where the map ends early if you defeat the boss. So credit where it's due: Awakening DOES have a couple of Defend sort of chapters. The map is super open, which is typically criticized since that's pretty often the case with Awakening, but it's actually to this map's advantage. Choke points and such make Defend maps easier. The openness of this map actually forces you to ******** DEFEND Tiki. In the entirety of the FE series, I can think of very few Defend maps where it's not possible to go on the offensive leaving the throne or whatever it is you're defending completely unguarded and be more successful as a result of taking an offensive approach. Unless you're going for the tricky 1-turn of this map (I've never done it, myself), this map pretty much forces you to actually play defensively, so it's arguably one of the most successful "Defend" (by another name) maps in the series. And I've mentioned this before, but it makes things substantially easier if you Rescue Tiki to move her up a space (and ideally either more left or right so your formation can have at least one person standing on a Forest square).
Paralogue 10: Ambivalence Turns: 13, 0 count Total Turns: 51 still Heroes: Lon'qu & Cordelia
Yay! Severa! My ice-queen of mean. I love Severa, so to be able to use her in a draft and have her be important to the draft is great for me. Before starting the chapter, I was figuring out what skill to have Lon'qu pass between Avoid +10, Vantage, and Strength+2. Vantage sounds like the most powerful skill, because it is, but I actually went with the Strength+2, which I find kind of hilarious. But it actually benefits me more than Vantage. I need Severa to be able to reliably kill things since she's my second Galeforce unit and you need to kill to activate it and more strength helps more than Vantage would to accomplish that. Got her to level 12 and had her kill the boss, too, since she'll be insta-promoted right after this level. I also got all the treasure (which included a Levin Sword much to my delight: this gives Anna great 1-2 offense for the rest of the draft, probably), unlocked Speed Rally on Cordelia and Magic Rally on Laurent and unlocked a Miranda/Lucina B support.
I just wrote the rest of this update with a lot to say, and it got deleted. ******** it. Here's the newly abridged version:
Chapter 20: The Sword or The Knee Turns: 1 Total Turns: 52 Heroes: Cordelia and Severa
Miranda kills Cervantes (thanks for the Dracoshield), Severa kills Excellus (thanks for Bolganone), and Cordelia kills Walhart (thanks for the probably entirely unneeded extra gold). Moving on.
I talked s**t about the Valm arc and disappointment with this map design. Moving on.
Chapter 21: Five Gemstones Turns: 1 Total Turns: 53 Heroes: Cordelia and Severa
Severa kills the boss and earned 2 level ups in the chapter. Anna/Miranda C and Cordelia/Severa B supports unlocked.
I went on and on about how this is my favorite chapter in the entire game for it's design. OH WELL.
Next update will be the last and feature character analyses.

Guess I was wrong is saying that Awakening was going to get put on the back burner. I played a couple more chapters today.
Part 4: The Fall of Gangrel
Paralogue 4-8 turns (does not affect turn count)
Nothing here to really note besides the fact that I kept Anna alive.
Chapter 10-4 Turns
If I did it better I could have done this is 3 like Tiki did. I managed to get the master seal drop on turn one with Sumia and just kept going. The master seal count here was 2 as Stahl, Sumia, and Asami are really competing for the seals.
Stahl/Nowi B Support get.
Chapter 11-6 turns
Not sure why this one went in 6 turns when Gangrel died on turn 3. Got a 3rd master seal as Sumia promoted in the chapter to Dark Flyer class. Asami promoted to Grandmaster and Maribelle early promoted to a Valkyrie after the chapter was over. I also Second Sealed Nowi to a Wyvern Rider. I couldn't get usage really out of Olivia. Then again it's hard for me to get utility out of dancers that well.
Current status as of now: Chrom Level 16 Lord Asami Level 1 Grandmaster Virion Level 13 Archer Stahl Level 19 Cavalier Sumia Level 3 Dark Flyer Nowi Level 1 Wyvern Rider Maribelle Level 1 Valkyrie
Turn Count: 73 with no turn penalties.

This update happens a lot of it compared to gameplay due to the nature of the chapters, but I love seeing commentary and I love seeing opinions. For all y'all. Don't worry FD, I'll give Valm a few knocks for you. Muscles and Bustles: Dedicated to the memory of Mad King GangrelGangrel was rude, crude, lewd, and one of the most honest characters in this game. He was the best villain, and we will all mourn his loss. May he cackle madly in the afterlife. Because he's dead. DEAD. Paralogue 4: Supports include Chrom/Pickles S (SPARKLE SHOUJO BUBBLES) and Panne/Frederick My goals are to get the chest that the thief steals from, that being the arms scroll, to get as close to a Frederick/Panne A support as I can, and to have Anna killsteal as little as possible. I have Chrom and Frederick team up to get to her quicker and recruit her. At least I’ll have her inventory. Panne and Frederick take out most of the chapter. Sully, Vaike, and Pickles get some love too. Turns: 9 (I actually forgot to take the number down, silly me! But it was definitely not over 15. It was either 7, 8, or 9). Total Turncount: 36 Chapter 11: No Panne/Frederick A, unfortunately.I do, however, get Vaike/Sully S (Sully puts these feelings in words for me. “I never would have thought… This is all so unexpected.. oh, hell with it, let’s get married!”), and Ricken/Pickles C. I have Panne use the talisman from last chapter, and I buy her a new handaxe. Sully uses the arms scroll. We’re in surprisingly good spirits? TO SAY THE LEAST, Aversa! Chrom acknowledges that Emmeryn did what she did for the Plegians, the people that Chrom “Couldn’t see.” Does he see now? Or does he just acknowledge this? Well… It’s official. I’ve got a thing for Mad Kings. There’s Gangrel, setting up the comparison between them, and Chrom going back to the “I fight for my friends!” deal. It’s not entirely without warrant, though. Since the divide between where Ylisse and Plegia stand is pretty obvious, with Emm having pretty much won this fight for Chrom already. And I like their pre-fight dialogue. All of Gangrel’s dialogue is great, and so are his voice clips. Gangrel is doing the whole “search your feelings, you know it to be true” shpeal, but I feel it holds more water than usual because he’s actually using examples that we saw this ourselves instead of it being said to us. “Beasts do not stand behind beasts” is a line I really like. Chrom acknowledges the similarities, at least. I just wish that “friendship is awesome!” hadn’t been made into an all-purpose cop-out argument preventing deeper things from happening. “Are you done? May I vomit now? Bwa ha ha! What a flowery harangue!” Olivia joins the fray and with Ricken’s help she has Panne and Frederick get a head start. I break through enemy ranks as easily as I break wind, though it takes a few tries to get placement right, with a case of “one asshat left” syndrome. Once again, it’s a Panne and Frederick kind of day, with a good dose of Sully and Vaike, plus a small helping of Chrom and Pickles taking out the little leftovers with the aid of Olivia. Ooooooh, Gangrel’s last words are almost chilling. Love ‘em. Your Levin Sword will be used in your name. “We’ve won… somehow, I don’t feel like celebrating.” The truth hurts, eh Chrommy boy? This was a two turn bloodbath and you know it. Gangrel’s ghost is laughing at you right now. Wait… Chrom forswore the title of Exalt? Acknowledged, game. Very acknowledged. With the Haldiom slowly recovering from the hardships it had suffered, Pickles and Chrom get married and live together in holy matrimony, their hearts having been set on one another since the very beginning. And the lived happily ever after. The End. Just kidding, to the surprise of no one! Though it might as well be, as we are about to enter a completely different game! Turns: 2 Total Turncount: 38 Chapter 12: Valm! Valm is a thing! Go Chrom, go to Regna Ferox to talk about the thing! Glad to see Raimi again though, if only for a short time. …This scene tugs at my heartstrings, no matter the mommy. I’m not afraid to admit it. “Lissa and I had Emm of course, but we lost our parents when we were young. I want Lucina to grow up with her whole family around her.” OOOH, RIGHT IN THE GUT! There’s some second playthrough pie for ya! I’m actually fond of Virion as a character, but I have unfortunately not put the time into using him and getting his supports. I like that he gets more storyline development and dialogue, and I absolutely love his voice and voiced lines. But now’s not the time for that. I’m more interested in his ladyfriend! Yes, it’s Cherche, the last non-kid member of my team! Cherche is actually one of my favorite characters. I like her voice, I like her design (which was apparently the first finished Awakening character design), I like her simple yet varied personality, her tendency towards sarcasm, and her caring, motherly nature. I initially paired her and Virion up since they already act like a married couple. She has some great conversations too, and she doesn’t rely on a gimmick, unless you count Minerva, which I don’t on account of Minerva’s own significance in Cherche’s conversations, and I actually love seeing Cherche and Gerome talk about her. While she may not be the best Wyvern rider, and she’s certainly not Panne, she will still be quite useful to my cause. After all, another pair of wings is always welcome. Anyway, let’s begin this chapter already! Only one this time, Panne/Frederick A (o mai). And speaking of Panne, she gets my new master seal and classes up into a Griffon Rider! Mmm, I can smell the +2 movement from here. And she was a level 16 Wyvern rider already. Sweet. The Spirit dust goes to Pickles, and I get a new handaxe and thunder tome. Panne and Frederick do their thing. Cherche and Ricken pair up and do what they can with a hammer. It’s all I ask of them. Chrom and Pickles are able to clean up those earlier cavs. Pickles learns delicious Ignis. The biggest problem in this chapter was trying to manage Panne’s handaxes since she burns through them like crazy. I guess that’s why the story blurbs are so much longer than the chapters. :B To Plegia! Chrom is reluctant to go and ready to start war with Valm and blah blah blah you get it already nothing too new here. Turns: 2 Total Turncount: 40 Chrom: level 12 Lord HP: 34, Str:13, Mag:1, Skill:17, Spd:14, Luck:13, Def:13, Res:2 Pickles: Level 5 Grandmaster HP:40, Str:16, Mag:20, Skill:20, Spd:22, Luck:15, Def:17, Res:11 Frederick is the same. Though he’s close to another level. Sully: Level 3 Great Knight HP:41, Str:22, Mag:3, Skill:20, Spd:15, Luck:14, Def:22, Res:7 Vaike: Level 11 Fighter HP:38, Str:15, Mag:1, Skill:12, Spd:11, Luck:8, Def:11, Res:3 Ricken is the same, though he’s about to get a little more action Panne: Level 3 Griffon Rider HP:54, Str:32 (And that’s without the +2), Mag:3, Skill:30, Spd:30, Luck:19, Def:22 Res:13 Olivia is Olivia. Cherche: Level 13 Wyvern Rider HP:31, Str:15, Mag:1, Skill:13, Spd:11, Luck:8, Def:15, Res:2 I haven’t been adding in the skills to the stats, so why start now, I guess.

Well I did even more maps. Time for more updates
Part 5: Rout Missions are the Bane of my Existence
Chapter 12: 5 turns
Stahl grabs the Master Seal you earn here and promote to Great Knight so that way on pair up he gives movement +1 to Nowi and he will laugh at melee weapons.
After the chapter Master Seals were available so I bought what I needed on that and early promoted Chrom (Who got one more level before promotion) and Virion. Virion getting promoted to Bow Knight and not Sniper for the movement.
I also got Stahl/Nowi A support
Chapter 13: 2 turns
Sumia just charged right in there and killed the boss straight out right. Lucina comes in and I look at her stats and see her to be actually useful. I don't promote her right away though for some reason.
Chapter 14: 2 turns
I seem to do much better on the defeat commander missions. Everyone charged to the boat that the boss was on so Sumia had room to actually fly to the boss.
This is the chapter I actually promoted Lucina to Great Lord.
Chapter 15: 6 turns
I'm really sure routing mission are killing me. I recruit the last member of my team Say'ri. Nothing else too special except for Stahl/Nowi S support.
Paralogue 12: 7 turns (Doesn't affect turn count)
I decide at this point that Lucina needs a supportable dance buddy. Thus I grab Asami's son Morgan who follows the path of his daddy Virion and starts out as an Archer (With Ignis mind you). This paralogue was a bit more for getting Morgan some exp before he became a Bow Knight. He gets 2 levels before getting his butt on a horse. Nowi gets a few levels too, which is good because she really needs to become a Griffon Rider soon.
Current Team: Chrom Level 2 Great Lord Asami Level 8 Grandmaster Virion Level 2 Bow Knight Stahl Level 5 Great Knight Sumia Level 11 Dark Flyer Nowi Level 7 Wyvern Rider Maribelle Level 3 Valkyrie Lucina Level 4 Great Lord Say'ri Level 1 Swordmaster Morgan Level 1 Bow Knight
Current turn count: 88 turns

Finished my draft yesterday. So here's the final update for it. Going to post a Character Analysis seperately, though, so it's not my last draft-related post at least.
Chapter 22: An Ill Presage Turns: 1 Total Turns: 54 Heroes: Miranda and Cordelia
I managed to get Gungnir, Falaflame, Yewfelle, and Balmung all before slaying injuring Aversa to be a boss again shortly. Yewfelle is useless to me, no one has an A rank in Swords, surprisingly (or not so surprisingly: they lack reliable 1-2 range weapons that can be obtained easily), but Gungnir and Falaflame are huge improvements for Cordelia and Miranda, respectively. They don't exactly have a ton of uses to them, but then, there aren't exactly a ton of chapters left either.
Chapter 23: Invisible Ties Turns: 2 Total Turns: 56 Heroes: Cordelia and Kellam
Miranda kills Validar on turn one so Cordelia can kill her on turn two. Flavia and Basilio were both pretty useless. Severa really holds her own here taking the bottom of the map for the most part with her daddy, while Cordelia goes across the middle until I can Rescue Miranda to clean up the rest. I also unlocked the following supports this chapter: Miriel/Laurent B, Cordelia/Kellam A, and Severa/Lon'qu B.
Chapter 24: Awakening Turns: 2 Total Turns: 58 Heroes: Cordelia and Kellam
Another rout chapter. I've got the fliers and the 1-2 range to deal. Moving on. Worth noting that I think Miranda got RNG screwed a little, considering how many levels she's been pumped. She needed Falaflame to (reliably) one-round a Paladin when she didn't have Rainbow Rally on her.
Chapter 25: To Slay a God Turns: 1 Total Turns: 59 Heroes: Cordelia and Severa
NOW we kill Aversa See you in your Paralogue, home-gurl! Really happy to be able to be using Severa seriously in a drafting context and having her be of value, although it was her mother who got the kill with Gungnir.
Endgame: Grima Turns: 1 60 Turns Overall Heroes: Chrom and Miranda
Miranda and Chrom (work that Exalted Falchion!) go in and work it out. I spammed the following Rallies on them: Rainbow, Magic, Skill, Speed, Luck, Movement. Not a bad accumulation of Rally skills to aquire in such a short time frame, if I do say so myself.
And there you have it: 60 turns overall. That's an average of 2.222222 turns over the course of 27 chapters that counted for turns (25 numbered, plus the Prologue and Endgame)! Pretty happy about it. Looking forward to watching everyone else complete their drafts. Especially looking forward to seeing how close Tiki and I get with turn counts: whoever does it in less, I think it's going to be super close and right down to the wire! How electrifying! Looking back, I can think of plenty of things I'd do differently, too that probably would have been more efficient and such, but 20/20 hindsight, as always. I'm sure we all can think of things we could do better if given a second chance, though.
Hope you enjoyed, in spite of the quality drop due to me moving. Character Analysis coming soon!

So time for another update. I hope I can get this run done before the weekend is done. My turn count won't look as great as FD's or Tiki's but I think I can beat the game in 150 turns or less.
Part 6: Double Galeforce
Chapter 16: 4 turns
All I remember is that I got Morgan/Lucina C support.
Chapter 17: 6 Turns
I don't remember what I did on this map. Man my memory is crap.
Chapter 18: 2 Turns
I do know this is a commander defeat mission. That's why I got it in two turns. I got Morgan/Lucina B Support and now I have access to paralogue 9 which is the paralogue that gives me Cynthia. Like FD double Galeforce becomes needed to one turn maps. I also second sealed Asami to a Dark Flyer.
Paralogue 9: 4 turns (doesn't affect turn count)
Great opportunity for some others to get levels. Luring Cynthia with out having her attack Sumia/Chrom was a bit of a pain, but I got it to work out. Cynthia gets family supports C level and there quite a bit of class changing. Nowi becomes a Griffon Rider and the mother/daughter duo of Sumia and Cynthia both become Falcon Knights.
Paralogue 16: 14 turns (doesn't affect turn count)
Getting Cynthia first was the plan so she could get a few levels. Which she got. She was level 4 almost level 5 Falcon Knight by the end of this map.
Morgan/Lucina A support was gotten here as well as Nah and her parents on the C level and oddly enough Stahl/Maribelle C Support. We get rare angry Stahl face here. Nah also gets reclassed to a Wyvern Rider.
Chapter 19: 1 turn
Here's where the double GF pays off. I had Maribelle move ahead of everyone else and rescue our duo so that way I knew I could cover the distance. While Sumia's GF kill was easy enough, Cynthia's required some luck to get the kill, which did happen.
With a silver lance Sumia could kill Walmart Walhart in 4 hits even if a Sol were to happen and hit me, but with a 20% chance to even hit me it wasn't likely. Cynthia's duel strike attack actually knocks the hits needed to be 3.
Current Team: Chrom Level 5 Great Lord Asami Level 3 Dark Flyer Virion Level 4 Bow Knight Stahl Level 11 Great Knight Sumia level 2 Falcon Knight Nowi Level 2 Griffon Rider Maribelle Level 7 Valkyrie Lucina Level 4 Great Lord Say'ri Level 2 Swordmaster Morgan Level 9 Bow Knight Cynthia Level 5 Falcon Knight Nah Level 1 Wyvern Rider
Turn count: 101 Turns with no turn penalties.

There are only 2 goals for this playthrough. 1) Chrom must not marry Maiden. The only marriage candidate I have for him is Olivia (or MU, but MU is male this run), meaning that Lucina and Inigo are going to be siblings. 2) All kids must marry. Considering the kids are Morgan, Lucina, Inigo, Owain and Noire, MU must marry one of them as there are an odd number of them. As he is male, he must choose between Lucina and Noire. However, because of this royal trinity (Owain, Lucina, Inigo, and a Morgan sitting in MU's loins), one pair of children will have to go with the companionship route.
And so it begins.
Part 7: You May Call Me Fauder
Chapter 13: After a week of being unable to anything (the town they needed Seals to make Gaius and Gregor relevant again was under siege by those bears), our heroes finally get what they need and head to Pledge! But first, promotion time! Gaius becomes a Trickster (cuz he’s so tricky) and Gregor becomes a Hero!
Bought a Bronze Sword for Tharja and a Bronze Axe for Gregor. We also give Gaius a spare Heal staff we had lying around (I think I may have purchased it, or maybe it was a drop. I don’t remember).
Also, support time! Gaius and Tharja finally hit their S support, in which Gaius says ‘hey, your little hexes charmed me despite your antidote. Let’s go hit the shack’ and then Tharja ends up loving him too (because of some sexy candy magic of his own) and they do indeed hit the shack.
Okay, now back to our featured presentation.
Our heroes finally make it to Pledge Castle to discuss with the new leader named Fodder on what they’re gonna do to help with their campaign to protect the continent’s best food chain. While they don’t get any chefs soldiers, they do get the necessary funds and ships to go sailing to Alm and fight Walmart and his armies of superstores. But… what’s this? Isn’t this Fodder guy the same one they fought off during the assassination attempt? And… what the heck?! Two Midas?! There can only be one Wincest Hero! However, before our heroes can inquire further about this madness, negotiations end. Disgruntled, they leave and camp for the night.
Unable to rest because of the thought that he may not be the real Wincest Hero, Midas takes a small walk, only to find Fodder waiting for him. And thus, his faith in the very foundations of society is shattered with five short words.
Fodder: “Midas, I am your Fauder.”
Midas: “I wasn’t aware that you were my fodder.”
Fodder: “No, your Fauder. Faw-der.”
Midas: “Yes, my fodder. I don’t see where you’re going with this.”
Fodder: “No! I am your Father!”
Midas: -checks the script- “Oh, that’s where we were… I mean… No, that can’t be true! That’s not possible!”
Fodder: “Search deep within your heart… you know it is to be true.”
Midas: “No!!!”
And then Chromnomnom comes to save the day, stopping the poor Grandmaster from jumping off a cliff to avoid going with Fodder to rule the galaxy as Fauder and Son. And shortly after a talk about this plot twist, bears Risen attack the camp, forcing Freddy Krueger, Chromnomnom and Midas to return to help the others fend off the enemy. However, just as they’re about to begin the fight, a storm of bears swarm in bringing in our final first gen ally, a puntastic dark mage named Teddie.
Turns spent: 10 turns Midas: Level 20/4 -gains SKILL, LCK, RES; gains HP, LCK- B rank swords Chrom: Level 20/3 -gains HP, STR, SPD, LCK, RES- D rank lances Lissa: Level 20/3 –gains HP, STR, LCK, RES – D rank axes Donnel: Level 15/11 –gains HP, STR- Gaius: Level 20/2 –gains STR, SKILL, SPD, LCK- Gregor: Level 20/2 –gains HP, STR, LCK- Tharja: Level 20/3 –gains LCK, RES- Olivia: Level 11 -gains HP, SPD, LCK, RES; gains HP, STR, MAG, SKILL, RES; gains HP, MAG, SPD- Henry: Level 15 –gains DEF; gains HP, SKILL, SPD, DEF; gains HP, STR, MAG, SPD, DEF-
Items found: N/A
We babied Henry and Olivia this round to give them some levels, especially since Olivia is still below double digits. Gregor and Lissa soloed the top area (also gave Gregor the boss), Midas handled the right on his own after Gaius and Tharja cleared the way. Henry, Olivia, Chrom and Donnel went west with healing support from Gaius and Tharja. Chrom and Donnel also handled the enemies that spawned from the forts.
With the enemy defeated, our heroes try to catch a small breather. But just then, a wild bear assassin spawned to take our lord’s life, but the Unmasked Chick from before appears and… wait, did she just call Chromnomnom Fauder? Everyone’s becoming a Fauder now! The daughter(?) of Chromnomnom takes him aside to explain that she is actually Canilu from the future after showing him her weird eye! Oh damn, our heroes have the power of the future on their side now! With double the Pointy Demonspanker power to boot! After a tearful embrace, Chromnomnom is called out by Pink and Midas for cheating (hugging a crying woman and being all alone, you scamp!), but it is soon revealed to the rest of the army that the mysterious girl is in fact his daughter. And the future is exposed… a world without the Genghis Khan Restaurant filled with monsters summoned by the Dark God spoken of in legend. After another tearful embrace (this time between Canilu and Pink), they finally head back to FE ROX.
And so, with the first of the five promised children in our possession, we can now begin the Wincest Hero route.
Chapter 14: But first, supports! Chromnomnom and Canilu have a mock battle. After the battle, Canilu went to town and got her mother a dress of questionable fashion and they end up deciding to go to town together next time to avoid future disasters. After that, Pink finds Teddie trying to help out a hurt puppy and she calls him a puppy killer, thinking that he was gonna sacrifice it to his dark god. Teddie actually likes puppies and thinks Pink is a crazy lady. The dog never got treated. Meanwhile, Lissa is getting over her fear of sausage by grabbing Russia’s sausage I mean WHAT millipedes and to celebrate, Russia prepared a special bear stew.
Pink is reclassed to a Myrmidon so that she can be a little more useful in combat and keep her swords.
Our heroes finally set sail from Port FE ROX, blazing their choice of music to make the journey a bit more tolerable (the Great Sea from the game LoZ: Wind Waker that Midas still never got around to returning). The lords and Midas speak for a little while, and he finds it curious that Canilu came to the past to change it, yet she herself says she didn’t want to ‘risk altering history any more than necessary’. So wait, rather than just flat-out change her own horrible Risen-infested world, she just wants to change what she felt was ‘necessary’? It almost sounds like she wants the future to actually happen rather than preventing it…
They soon come upon the Almese ships and Midas, in a brilliant display of stupidity (he was practically fed the answer by Flavor, Freddy Krueger, and Samuel L. Jackson) decides to set their ships on fire and send them into the enemy ships. The only ship to be spared is a little dingy that they will all escape on.

This only took so long because I wanted the reinforcement experience. This chapter was mostly spent feeding Olivia, Henry, and Lucina delicious experience to catch up to the others. Henry/Tharja went south to the bottom boat, Olivia/Donnel went to the east boat, and Lucina/Midas, and Lissa/Gregor went to the west boat with Gaius/Chrom floating around south and east. The armorslayer was put to good use on Olivia and helped her gain a ton of (poor) level ups, while Lucina worked that rapier. Lissa got Rally Luck and all chests were opened. I fed the boss to Lucina after having Henry get the first hit in.
And sure enough, our heroes follow through with their plan of destroying their ships to wipe out the remaining Almese ships. Now on their dingy, they sail on towards Alm! But boy, it sure is cramped on that boat…
Chapter 15: Sometime during the voyage, the boat had sprung a leak and everyone was desperately trying to keep their dingy afloat until they reached port. When they finally did reach Alm, they abandoned the boat and swam to shore. Surprisingly, the dingy remained afloat after they had all jumped ship, meaning that someone had fixed the leak when no one was looking. Oh well, they made it to Alm safe and sound, and that was all that really mattered. However, it seems like the Almese are after a woman. Well, an enemy of our enemy is our friend or so the saying goes, so our heroes go help her out.
But first, supports! Primadonna is apparently a bad singer and gets singing lessons from Pink. Meanwhile, it seems like Teddie has a fan in Twilight (originally Tharja, deciding that she got renamed after her marriage with Sugar (who is Gaius)). It also seems like doom is edible.

This only took as long as it did because I was trying to get Lucina and Midas to support, so she got fed a number of kills even after promotion. Both Lucina and Henry do hit 20 and promoted immediately (Henry went with Dark Knight because the stats granted going that way were a lot better than a point in MAG and two points in RES more going Sorc, and plus, mounted bonus for movement). I had Henry and Tharja solo the beach enemies while everyone else went inland. I did my best to feed the promoted units to Olivia which did work in my favor as she finally hit double digits. I could promote her and Donnel now if I wanted to, but let’s squeeze a few more levels out into her. We also saved Say’ri and got all the village items.
So the swordmaster our heroes happened to save was named Sorry, a Princess from Chosen, and she happens to be the so-called leader of the ‘Ma and Pa Shop’ army. However, it seems as though her troops refuse to do anything because they’re all too busy enjoying the superstores Walmart and his men have opened up. With a million shops, what good is it to fight them?! It promotes the economy! But the Genghis Khan Restaurant is on the line here, so our heroes have no choice but to march to Wall Street.
Chapter 16: Sorry tells our heroes about her plan to get the people unified under their flag. It has to do with winning the Voice competition, a singing competition that people actually seem to care about in this country. They are also in luck, as not only are auditions beginning, but they also have Pink, who is their group’s best chance to win. The winner of the contest wins their very own Tiki! Unsure of what good having a Tiki would do, our heroes have no choice but to try to win this contest.
Primadonna buys himself a Steel Sword while they’re still in town and promoted Pink to Swordmaster. Also fed Gregor an Arms Scroll so he can use D axes. So let’s stop and give him Hammertime!
But first, supports! Master Russia and Lissa finally get hitched! Which… is still kinda awkward considering he’s like twice her age, but this is a ‘free’ world and you can love whoever you want! Lissa still wants him to deal with any large bugs and lemons they encounter (whatever you do Lissa, don’t go to Lemon Party) as he helps her with her bucket list… which she wiped out an entire forest just to get the paper to make such a list. I knew it was a bad idea to give her an axe. Meanwhile, Canilu talks to Midas about how important his one job as Tactician is and how not to ******** up.
And now on with the show.
Our heroes make it to Million Tree where the Voice competition is taking place, and it’s in absolute chaos! It seems like the Duke of Beards, CostCo, has taken over the competition! Cue shenanigans as he rambles on about his world famous facial hair and the correlation between kicking a** and the girth of one’s face hair. Our heroes have no choice but to take down this fashionable Wallace and bring order back to the Voice competition after Sorry had psyched them up so much for it!

Lucina/Midas and Olivia/Henry went left while Gaius/Chrom, Tharja/Donnel, and Gregor/Lissa went right. I managed to get all the items and once there was a notice for reinforcements, I had everyone but Lucina and Tharja’s group fall back to deal with them to get some extra levels. Chrom dealt damage to Cervantes and Lucina/Midas took the kill. Tharja just… kinda sat where she was once she hit level 5.
CostCo: I am but a single tiny hair on the beard of a flea in his great moustache! … See how my moustache flows in the wind! Prepare to learn the meaning of the word “beard”. …Fear. I mean fear!
Poor CostCo. Bearded Science played him for a fool.
Defeating CostCo somehow makes Pink the champion of the Voice competition (because she was the only competitor left) so our heroes ascend the Stairway to Heaven to acquire their very own Tiki! Tiki happens to be half dragon, half songbird, and she sings of the Emblem and how one must collect the six remaining dragonballs four remaining shiny rocks to unleash the true power behind the Emblem. And it just so happens Tiki had one of those shiny rocks! Two down, three more to go before the Emblem has power! UNLIMITED COSMIC POWAH! And speaking of power… it seems like Midas has power… just like Tiki’s. Well, of course! He is the Wincest Hero of Legend! Who… might actually be a bard, actually. Quick Midas, use Bardic Knowledge! After all, the bards will be singing of the day when you and the other heroes defeat Walmart and the other superstores and return peace to the country.
Next time, our heroes will finally get some kids. Yay.

Muscles and Bustles: Won't somebody think of the children?
DARN YOU HINDSIIIIIGHT! Chapter 13: Support is Cherche/Ricken C. Cherche becomes a Griffon rider. Man, I love the hooded Hierophant’s portrait, it’s so shadowy and mysterious. Id Dilemma is a great theme for them as well, especially once the hood comes down and you fully realize that this character is important enough to have their own theme, and a somewhat creepy one at that. The Hierophant is confident too, and I like that the voice actors that do the different MU voices also does their voices. Here’s a little nugget for you too. Since MU is customizable and can be either gender and have a variety of different body types, voices, hairstyles and such, that means the Hierophant can too. But you are not making the Hierophant, you are making your MU, making the Hierophant essentially a doppelganger. I know the true reason why they look like you, but I feel this adds a little extra creep to the character. Add Validar and Aversa taunting Chrom and Pickles with vagueness before being rushed out, and you’ve got a pretty cool scene. Though it can be a bit goofy for the initial Hierophant portrait to suddenly grow a pair of breasts depending on the body type. Yes, we now have Sweet and Sour pickles. By the way, yes. It is sort of silly to hear the characters say the word “pickles” over and over again in serious conversation. Validar himself is no slouch in the mystery department. Pickles is still the weakest link in these scenes, but while he may not be the best, I like the fatalistic Validar for what he is. Love his design too. Speaking of fathers, it’s time for my favorite scene and cutscene. The word “Father” slipped out of Lucina’s mouth, but she told Chrom who she was anyway since the girl had been born already in this timeline. Chrom says one of the best lines, and she just lets it all go. I just imagine how hard it must have been for her, being in a world on the brink of disaster and unable to get close to her own father, who she hardly had the chance to know. She had to be curt with him and only tell him exactly how much he needed to know. Prior to this, her sentences were often short, and she’d leave without saying goodbye. But as we see here and in later places, Lucina is sensitive in addition to being serious and determined. The tears just gush foreward, and Chrom wipes them away and holding her... it's just well paced and shot. She’s just happy to finally be able to call him “Father!” I actually feel genuinely bad for her, and happy for her and Chrom. The scene shows more of Chrom’s ability to be caring. I know I’ve focused a lot on angry Chrom, but let’s not forget trusting Chrom too. The fact that Chrom is capable of this sort of tenderness towards his daughter proves that he is not Gangrel, even if they are similar. He has this part of him that can exist in a peaceful world. He has something else to live for. This should have been the part where Chrom realizes how capable he is, to me. It should be with his daughter, and not dumb Pickles. Lucina comes in strong for her level and packing Aether even before Chrom knows it, she has an excellent design, and she is written very well. As much as I praise her and know her stuff is good stuff, she isn’t my favorite. It’s not her tendency to be overly serious at times, that’s her character, she has a reason to be, and she is far from one note. She even has her silly moments, and a lot of her conversations are heartmelting. I think it's the tendency for her to refer back to the future too frequently. All the kids do it, but maybe since Lucina is on the serious side and has a role in the main story, she ends up referring to it more than she needs to, as if reminding us. It's a writing quirk that gets in the way of me fully enjoying the character, but I do like her a lot. As for the future cutscene, I don’t have much to say, except that I am glad it is allowed to be a bit visceral, as a bad future should be. This chapter in general with the juxtaposition of fathers, children, destiny, and fate-challenging makes me yearn more for a greater focus on nature vs. nurture as well as free will vs. destiny. It is in there at least a little bit, this chapter is proof enough of it. It's a good extra layer for sure, but I would have liked to see the game use it more. Still, good that the thought is there. Why all this story and no gameplay? Because this chapter was really friggin’ easy, that’s why! Turns: 1 Total Turncount: 41 Chapter 14: ….and she saved her aunt too, let’s not forget! Supports include the default ones, Chrom/Lucina (fdadgasdfa) C and Lucina/Pickles C (“the other parent” convos are generally inferior anywho unless you are Laurent or Owain). Pickles has her Grimaheadaches right after Lucina talks about Chrom’s Death. Real subtle, guys. Sets the tone for the rest of this chapter I suppose. INVISHABUL TEIS! The chapter was only one turn, with the help of Cherche clearing the path for Panne. There was a surprising amount of levels gained in that turn though, left over from last chapter. Chapter is infamous for being able to be one-turned. I one-turned it. Yay. This is kinda sick. You took out half of the fleet, which is 400 SHIPS. With OIL. And FIRE. Look at all those lemmings, praising Pickles, and in front of a flaming backdrop, no less! What, when Micaiah uses oil and fire, everyone hates her guts, but when Pickles uses it she’s a genius? At least when Micaiah did it was framed as a horrible thing to do! But Tiki! The vessels were Plegian! I mean, it’s not like it was OUR fleet that was destroyed! It’s not like we went through an atmospheric and pensive chapter where one of the many things that were driven home were that Plegians were people t-OH WAIT. At least it was mercifully short. Turns: 1 Total Turncount: 42 Paralogue 12: Panne and Frederick finally reach their S support! I buy a javelin and a handaxe. Ricken classes up into a Dark Knight, secret book goes to Vaike. I sell my bows. I head to paralogue 12 because the rest of my army needs a little love, and chapter 15 was proving to be harder than it should have been since my entire team needs to be used if I want maximum efficiency. So I decide to take my army to Morgan instead. I still have Panne on hand in case things get dicey (and to get her Deliverer after only one battle, yay!), but since she is way overleveled by now she just hangs in the wings and occasionally beats people up with a ladle. Levels are gained, supports are earned. Today was an especially great day for Ricken and Cherche, both of whom offer movement and defense to one another. They’re actually starting to earn levels! Wish I could have had MU and Morgan get a little more love, but they had to diverge for the sake of recruitment. I actually like Morgan as a character as well as a unit. Surprised? Well, Morgan isn’t bound by the plot like MU is. His amnesia isn’t plot related, it’s just something that he has that informs a lot of his conversations. It’s also implied that he would be pretty perky even without it, though “eternal sunshine of the spotless mind” is a phrase that comes to mind on occasion. He just seems like an all-around sweetie, though what exactly that means is up to you. I like his intro too, where he doesn’t even notice he’s not in his time anymore. Stuff like that is a little weird, and I like a little weirdness to fuel speculation. Morgan's got a good dose of that weirdness. For the record, I have yet to have a girl Morgan, so I don’t know how that voice is, or how the conversations differ from Male Morgan’s. Why don’t I own the Future Past chapters yet… Turns: 7 (Paralogue) Total Turncount: 42 Paralogue 8: Supports include Chrom/Morgan C (“ Wait no… how did Mother put it?...So yeah! It’s not fate, it’s the whole invisible bond-link…thing!” Morgan, I love you.), Morgan/Pickles C, Lucina/Morgan C (Still love it), and Cherche/Ricken B. I buy two master seals and have Vaike class up into a warrior, and Chrom class up into a Great Lord. Goddess Icon goes to Cherche. My team is still not to my liking, which means it’s time for some reinforcement abuse, though it seemed as though they stopped coming at turn 6 or thereabouts. Ricken and Cherche in particular need some love. Panne joins us but limits her involvement to buffing through pair up. Sully beelines for Kjelle, door key in hand, so that they can train together. D'aww. Turncount went beyond 6 not because I was busy getting rid of enemies, but because I got all the shiny areas, took down the boss for all I could, and just generally lollygagged. Ricken even got speed one time! Now if only it was greater than ten… I just realized that Ricken is giving me a headache. He’s not pulling his shota mage weight as much as he should, thanks to some RNG screwage. Guess it’s retribution for Panne. I should have made Ricken a sage. Hindsight is gross Kjelle was one of the kid characters I got the least milage out of in my first playthrough, so I don’t know much about her beyond some conversations and first impressions. She’s… uhh… fine. Hard worker, hard trainer, I like what I know of her interactions with Sully, and how she can share Sully's desire for self-betterment but work with it in a different way. Though I'm not really a fan of the whole "lethal chef" thing. I feel I see it too often. Turns: 11 (paralogue) Total turncount: 42 Chapter 15: Supports include Chrom/Vaike B, Panne/Pickles B, Vaike/Kjelle C, Sully/Kjelle C, Cherche/Ricken A (Ricken, honey, if you keep getting HP/Luck growths you’re not gonna be anyone’s right hand man). Dracosheild goes to Pickles, Naga’s Tear goes to….. CHERCHE! Heck, Panne doesn’t need it, and Cherche needs a boost if she’s gonna act on her full potential. Hey look! It’s Say’ri! …Why do I suddenly feel frustrated and depressed? Ricken travels with Cherche to take out the beach enemies while Panne and Pickles went north and separated to deal with Say’ri’s assailants and the other upper enemies. I am nothing if not an honest Tiki, so I will say that this chapter gave me a lot of difficulty, and I eventually resigned to doing it in three turns, mostly due to Say’ri. This will certainly bite me in the butt. At least I got an imposing axe…? Under a threat like Walhart and his impressive conqueror’s resume’, even if there are resistances working hard to fight for freedom, I’d be able to see why they wouldn’t be effective simply by being told they weren’t united. Tiny pockets of resistance wouldn’t even dent a suit of brilliant red lobster armor. Say’ri is giving me an awful lot of explanation here. I certainly hope we will be able to see these dynasts and revolutionaries for a substantial amount of… yeah, I’m not going to get ahead of myself since I should give Valm a second playthrough chance too. “Yen’Fay was a good man once, but he is my brother no more! If we met on the battlefield, I would cut him down, same as any other imperial.” You and I both know that isn’t true, Say’ri. No doubt, when the two of you meet it will be a substantial scene with lots of breathing room so that the drama of brother vs. sister could really sink in. THIS IS A SECOND PLAYTHROUGH CHANCE, GOTTA BE FAIR! So all of Valm was watching as the ocean burst into flames and immediately assumed that it was some pickle tactician’s “daring strategy” and not just some horrible accident? I find that hard to believe. “I have my own causes: A Halidom to save and a future to win.” AHAHAHAH CHROM IT’S TOO LATE TO BE AWARE. “And if I’m wrong, it’s my own life on the line. As it should be.” AHAHAHA… good for you. Turns: 3 Total turncount: 45 I class Kjelle up at level 12 into a Great Knight. Chrom: level 3 Great Lord HP: 42, Str:19, Mag:1, Skill:20, Spd:19, Luck:16, Def:13, Res:6 Pickles: Level 8 Grandmaster HP:43, Str:18, Mag:21, Skill:22, Spd:24, Luck:17, Def:19, Res:12 Frederick: Level 7 Great Knight HP:35, Str:18, Mag:2, Skill:15, Spd:12, Luck:11, Def:17, Res:5 Sully: Level 7 Great Knight HP:45, Str:25, Mag:5, Skill:21, Spd:17, Luck:17, Def:23, Res:8 Vaike: Level 2 Warrior HP:50, Str:22, Mag:1, Skill:19, Spd:15, Luck:8, Def:14, Res:6 Ricken: Level 4 Dark Knight HP:37, Str:10, Mag:15, Skill:12, Spd:9, Luck:17, Def:18, Res:10 Panne: Level 6 Griffon Rider HP:54, Str:34, Mag:3, Skill:32, Spd:32, Luck:20, Def:25 Res:13 Olivia: Level 5 Dancer HP:21, Str:6, Mag:3, Skill:11, Spd:13, Luck:7, Def:3, Res:4 Cherche: Level 5 Griffon Rider HP:43, Str:19, Mag:4, Skill:22, Spd:19, Luck:12, Def:20, Res:8 Lucina: Level 13 Lord HP:34, Str:15, Mag:6, Skill:18, Spd:18, Luck:15, Def:15, Res:6 Morgan: Level 14 Tactician HP:35, Str:14, Mag:16, Skill:18, Spd:15, Luck:14, Def:11, Res:10 Kjelle: Level 1 Great Knight HP:42, Str:21, Mag:2, Skill:18, Spd:13, Luck:14, Def:21, Res:5

Muscles and Bustles: Man, I guess I should finish this, shouldn't I?Since it's been a while, I've decided to finish up all the Valm stuff in one long update! Paralogue 13: Only Chrom/Frederick A this time (That was actually not bad… until it got bad. I HATE THAT MUSIC ARUGHG. FREDERICK WHAT U DOIN TO MAH WIFE PAKLES) Yarne comes with Luna and Deliverer, and it is never too early to get your fliers and fliers-to-be. I could have gotten him earlier, but Rival Bands was causing my army a bit of trouble. Even though, as I will explain, I could in theory beat chapter 16 in one turn right now, I want to prevent as many casualties as possible. Plus, Yarne needs to start leveling as soon as he can. Yarne’s a bit one-note as far as the children characters go. He has the right to be, since in his time, he’s the last of his race in world that wants to see him dead. Still, he can get a bit annoying and some of his sillier lines are fun to listen to out of context, but in context I doubt he’d be poking fun at himself like “My foot’s good luck!” Especially when I can do that for him! I sort of like how much he and his mother compare and contrast, though. Panne is very down to earth, while Yarne is very jumpy and overly paranoid. Panne won’t let any son of hers be a coward that teams up with thugs for safety, and I’m happy to see her happy for her son. Yarne is proud of his heritage, which is the other side of the last taguel coin. You wouldn’t see any interactions like this in Tellius, for obvious reasons. Of course, in this timeline, I don’t think Yarne has anything to worry about. With Panne as strong as she is, I don’t think the Taguel will be wiped out so easily. I team up with the red army and grab a beastslayer and a dracosheild from the villages. Levels are gotten all around, including one for Yarne. Sully especially gets some good mileage. Turns: 6 (paralogue) Total turncount: 45 Chapter 16: Supports include Cherche/Ricken S (And suddenly, marriage: A casualty of the support system), Frederick/Yarne C, Panne/Yarne C (Naaw), and Lucina/Morgan B (Still adore this set of supports). Yarne reclasses into a wyvern rider, buys a new bronze axe, then uses the dracoshield. I just now noticed that Cervantes’ portrait has him prodding his own moustache. Between my two deliverers, great knights, Olivia and such, reaching Cervantes’ range and killing him with within a turn is very possible. The question is, can I position everyone so that they can take everyone out and not die for one enemy phase? Leaving the still quite vulnerable Olivia within the range of many enemies, some promoted, is not a good idea. I tried this a few times and made the perfect configuration, where no one could hurt Olivia as she waited out a turn for Cervantes to kill himself on Panne and Frederick. For my reward, I get happy feelings of fandom and speculation! We ascend to the top of the tree and meet with Tiki! I actually wrote up a thing about Awakening!Tiki, but I think I'm gonna skip out on that since this is a draft, no place for that, and like with chapter 10 I'll probably address it elsewhere. You’ve gotta wonder how the orbs got scattered again, too. You’ve also gotta wonder what sort of “Schism (complete with capital S)” happened in the past. I don’t know if I missed something or if it doesn’t really get elaborated on, but since all the nations get united under Akaneia and Marth, I’d guess that as time went on different factions didn’t agree and split, especially with Ylisse and Plegia containing such different theologies. Those who worship Grima wouldn’t want to live under the holy capital Akaneia or whatever it became, especially since we’ve already heard of events such as the crusade Chrom’s father lead. A history of oppression wouldn’t surprise me, and if there are any more nuggets about this, please let me know. I’m glad that Pickles didn’t pop up when Tiki mentioned the closer looming threat of Grima’s presence. “You have power… like mine” is far less on the nose, and doesn’t necessarily refer to being the dragon’s vessel, especially since Tiki doesn’t have that ability. Yeah, I still could have done without things like that but hey, it could have been much worse. Turns: 1 Total Turncount: 46 Chapter 17: No supports, sadly. I buy a Master Seal for Morgan. Factions of the resistance are already uniting under Tiki? Well golly! I can’t wait to see them! Say’ri, I love ya, but you keep talking about inspiration and that Chrom and pals are inspiring, but does it make it so? After all, you’re just one person. I won’t think that they are being inspired unless I am shown something instead of told it. Pheros’ design might be a bit excessive, but I feel it suits someone like her. She used to worship Naga and Mila before serving who she sees as a physical god in the process of uniting the world like no religion ever could. I got her conversation with Chrom in my last playthrough, and I like that she compares the unifying abilities of Emmeryn and Walhart to one another, while Chrom of course argues that Walhart is a tyrant who unites through force instead of peace. Both are convinced that theirs is the right way, and the conversation is short and sweet. I’ll give this to Valm, it has more memorable boss characters that even get to interact amongst themselves. Getting a good two turns on this chapter was way easier then I was expecting it to be. Then again, now that I have a few deliverers, the restrictive team spacing and large maps seem much less scary. Though I wish I had a rescue staff user. Man, wouldn’t that have been nice and turn reducing. But nope, it’s gathering dust in the convoy as my advantage starts to shrivel up. I guess this chapter wasn’t designed for the speedy player story-wise. After all, Chrom and Say’ri immediately start talking about the “former resistance” that was supposed to show up, along with Excellus, even though we beat Pheros before the events happened. According to the script, Excellus appears at turn 6 and has his little dialogue with Pheros, and the reinforcements show up at turn 8. Now I’m even less invested then I was the first time around! Wow! By the way, I was not invested at all since yeah, what Say’ri thought were allies turned out to have turned on her, but I never say hide nor hair of any of these guys prior to this. I only had her word to go on, so I had nothing beyond that to substantiate this scene. With every line, I feel more and more how many corners the game cuts to get this whole arc to fit into Awakening. I’m not saying they couldn’t have done it, but they just didn’t do it well. The strategy that Pickles devises is pretty much identical to the assault on Fort Pinell and Fort Nados from the tail end of FE9. Unlike Tibarn, though, Basilio knows that there is a crazy strong guy covered in bulky armor waiting for them. After all, that’s the reason why they’re going. Lucina telling Basilio that he is destined to die there just furthers it. Turns: 2 Total Turncount: 48 Chapter 18: No supports. Basilio and Flavia do deserve some credit though. Their back and forth dialogue nice, especially in the harsh conditions presented. Ooh, and there’s that “barbarian roots” line that suggests that the Feroxi are descended from those barbarian assholes that bothered Marth and pals on Anri’s Way, which Regna Ferox encompasses. Now’s not the time for history, though. Honestly, I do think it is a tad over the top that Walhart is there all by himself, but whatever. “…Impressive. You’re the first since Yen’Fay to survive beyond a single stroke.” Hey now! Didn’t notice that line first time through! I’ll just put it in my pocket for later… Welp, Basilio is dead and apparently he had Gules with him all along! ‘Aint that convenient! I guess he knew we’d need it… somehow… At least Flavia’s voice actor can sell the screaming of his name. Oh oh OH! So the turncoats only made a show of opposing us! Well, isn’t that nice to hear about instead of see, especially since I didn’t even get to see them come out this time! Plus, Say’ri, how do you know that the dynasts don’t just know we’re going in Yen’Fay’s direction and that he’s approaching us? You even say that this is still entirely self-serving behavior they are showing! Chrom is even worrying about having to defend two fronts…Augh! I won’t hold my two-turn victory in the previous chapter against this one as far as Excellus goes. After all, there’s plenty of ammunition left. You see, Yen’fay isn’t much for words, so we need Excellus to do all the talking for him! Oh joy. Gee do I wish I had a rescue staff user. I could totally see myself being able to one-turn this if I had a rescue staff user. The combined talents of Panne, Frederick, Cherche, and Olivia could conceivably reach Yen’fay within a turn, it’s just that the way the enemies and paths are configured is such that there aren’t enough characters to get them out of the way. Oh hindsight, I have a feeling you and I will be talking so much more often. Two-turning it is easy-peasy, but it’s still one turn too many! At least Yen’fay is a total joke. He leaves me behind a sword no one can use in protest of his crappy role, but also a sword that we can use in honor of me believing in his potential. I’ve expressed my displeasure at the following scene enough, so I won’t do it for long. Excellus comes on and muahaha’s about why we should feel bad about Yen’Fay. Why create a stoic character like Yen’fay who doesn’t even explain himself to his sister, only to have Excellus spew exposition about it to us? It’s not like I would have preferred it if Say’ri never found out, since her pain relating to her brother that she keeps bottled up is where the drama is. I think there is something in this. I see what the Valm arc could have been, especially in regards to Say’ri. Lines like the one I pointed out at the beginning of the chapter speak much more than an exposition dump ever could. Believe it or not, despite all the mud I’ve thrown at them, I really like our royal Chon’sin siblings. That’s why I throw as much mud as I do. R.I.P. Yen’fay. We hardly knew ye. Seriously, we hardly knew ye. Turns: 2 Total turncount: 50 Chapter 19: No supports. I buy Panne a silver axe. Grieving for Basilio is all fine and good, though it doesn’t really bring anything up that I hadn’t said before. Lucina’s grief is necessary too, I just wish she had more variation in her lines, once again. Whaddya know! We’re going to the imperial capital to fight off Walhart where the tiny team failed! Who’s the forseer now? Okay, time to give Valm some credit again. Excellus is overly confident in his seedy persuasion, and Cervantes has hair in his ears and doesn’t care for whatever Excellus has to say. Walhart, meanwhile, finds Excellus’ tactics dishonorable and is all about glory on the battlefield. Excellus doesn’t care for Walhart, and Cervantes and Excellus both see the other as below them. More than anything else I’ve seen so far, these conversations between bosses show (emphasis on SHOW) why Walhart’s army is destined to fail. Walhart has brought them all under his rule by force, but they are not unified. Factor in all the dynasts who only look out for their own interests, and this problem grows in scale. Since we know that the unified army is our army, we know who is going to win this battle, despite that pretty great image of Walhart and his army looking all big and intimidating. If by “unity” you mean me using the same four units I always use in small defeat commander chapters! Turns: 1 Total turncount: 51 Paralogue 11: Still no supports! I class Lucina up. Time for a little buffing! There are plenty of promoted units on this map, but first I recruit Mel’s Hearthrob and the final member of my team, Gerome. I’ve never been one for the gravelly voiced overly serious dead to the world guys of the fictional world. Gerome on his own is… boring to me. He has some decent conversations, but I think he’s often not the most interesting part of those. To be fair, he does sort of give off an air of lower self-worth that makes him a bit more interesting, but I’m not a fan of the His conversations with Cherche I quite like, even their little clips in the barracks. I feel like while they did try to play up the whole “super srs guy who acts silly with his wyvern” thing, I like when he talks about her more seriously, like he does at the end of the chapter. I kinda feel for him when he talks about Minerva deserving better than him. Kjelle is actually suprising me. Her defense is great and the zeal skill she inherited from Vaike sometimes makes all the difference, especially since I have her using a killer lance. I’ll stick her with Gerome more than Yarne, since Gerome will be able to class up right away and not need to wait to get to level 10 like Yarne. Better to start building supports now. Yarne himself gained some good levels with some help from Lucina dualstrikes. Morgan also teams up with Chrom to get some great levels, leading him closer to Rally Spectrum and a real niche. Cherche got some use, and Pickles teamed up with Panne for supports and levels. Some good stuff all around. Turns: 10 (paralogue) Total Turncount: 51 Chapter 20: Supports include Chrom/Morgan B, Sully/Kjelle B (Huh, I want to see where this goes), Cherche/Gerome C, and Ricken/Gerome C (Ricken’s all “Oh, that boy o’ mine,” While Gerome seems considerably older in all ways. It’s kinda weird.). I buy two handaxes and a master seal to promote Gerome into a Wyvern lord, as he already has deliverer. Oh look, we have our own cool army image, accompanied by glorious cheering! It’s a good “oh s**t” moment for the enemy, and I see what was trying to be done here, but the dynasts rallying with us still doesn’t hold any water for me for the same reasons as before. Get a load of that throne back there. It’s as spikey as Walhart’s armor. Hmm… love of battle thrills, one man army, spikey armor, obviously evil, social Darwinism… This must be what Ashnard looks like to people who don’t like Ashnard. Unfortunately for this game, I am quite fond of Ashnard, and know that Walhart just doesn’t measure up, or even have the time to. To think I actually joked about wanting to bed this guy, augh. Though I do like how he invalidates all of Excellus’ posturing. All these webs of deceit are nothing if everyone’s dead. It’s not like Walhart is a bad villain, he’s okay. Just… okay. Richard Epcar, on the other hand, now he's awesome. He's one of my favorite VAs and he is perfect here. Hey look! The three of them are disagreeing more! These are the best parts of Valm! Talk about a… boss fight! Man, look at that long hallway. And with guys in my way, even. Oh well, at least the extra turn will make for good expies. Morgan and Chrom get Cervantes, Panne and Frederick get Excellus, levels are to be had and Cherche’s extra levels did her a lot of good. It’s not silly how quickly Panne takes down Walhart. It’s silly how little exp she gets from the fight. Guys, stop spelling out the obvious, we got the whole “might vs. right” comparison form Miss Pheros in a much more organic way. “Your father suffered from beliefs similar to Walhart, and his legacy is plain to see…” Wait… was this why the story went here? You could have done a comparison like this without uprooting and going to a totally different continent and shoehorning a rushed as heck story into a few chapters. Also, it doesn’t exactly hold the same connotations since it wasn’t targeted at a specific group of people. If that was the goal, I guess the thought counts for something, but like so much here it just wasn’t used beyond being mentioned at the end. Maybe if the Valm arc had a few more chapters where we could see things develop… “Mmm… these are matters too weighty for the moment.” NO THEY AREN’T! I’ve still got a game to finish, a turncount to round out, and plenty of critiquing to do.

Part 8: The Crazy Kids Next Door
Paralogue 5: Apparently our heroes forgot they were still in the middle of a war, as they’re just now returning from all the honeymooning they’ve been doing. Like with Vegas, what happens on the honeymoon, stays with the honeymoon. Gods forbid we ever hear about what sorts of shenanigans these people were on. Those that were still single at this time had no choice but to mill about like sheep, waiting for everyone to come back so they can do things. All the parents pray that their children will be normal, and that they can be a normal, not-crazy family.
But first, supports! Chromnomnom and Sugar head out to experience the nightlife now that they’re married men. Several strip clubs, juggled flaming hams, and a knife fight later, Chromnomnom finally admits that he had fun and that he should stop wallowing in self-pity. Sugar offers to go again if Chromnomnom foots the bill, to which the lord is… hesitant, if only because his daughter already came out all messed up. Heaven forbid another child of his shares a similar fate.
And unfortunately, all the wishing everyone put into their lucky stars comes out in vain (at least for Master Russia and Lissa), as their son Owain (with stage name Nightmare) is in fact a rather… unique individual, if you can get past the theatrics and soul-devouring. This is why you don’t let your child watch so many Shakespearean plays or play so much Soul Calibur, Rulissia. His sword hand hungers. Better feed him some souls.
Turns spent: 6 turns Midas: Level 20/6 -no levels gained- Chrom: Level 20/4 –no levels gained- Lissa: Level 20/6 –no levels gained- Donnel: Level 15/13 –gains 2 HP, STR, DEF- Gaius: Level 20/5 –no levels gained- Gregor: Level 20/5 –no levels gained- Tharja: Level 20/5 –no levels gained- Olivia: Level 11/11/4 – gains HP, STR, LCK, DEF, RES- Henry: Level 20/2 –no levels gained- Lucina: Level 20/7 –gains HP, SKILL, SPD, DEF; gains HP, STR, MAG, SPD, LCK; gains HP, STR, SPD, LCK- Owain: Level 11 –gains HP, STR, MAG, LCK-
Items found: Alm’s Blade
This was possibly the easiest of the children Paralogue chapters considering all the unpromoted enemies here. I fed Owain some kills (including an assassin), and he got his unique weapon, the Soul Edge Missiletainn. Some of the villagers inevitably died thanks to the Silver Bows from the assassins, but I did make sure to get their items before they surrendered their souls to Owain. Lucina took the boss down (because Owain wasn’t close enough), and she and Midas were MVP.
Owain has the same mark on his arm that Canilu has on her eye, proving that he is in fact of royal blood. Lissa has tears of joy, but the mark on the boy may actually prove to be something more… sinister.
There are lots of supports from this chapter. Midas and Canilu talk about the Future of Despair some more (in which Midas fails in his quest to become the Wincest Hero). Lissa and Owain talk about the name of Lissa’s weapon, because all heroic weapons need a name. Just look at the weapon they picked up last chapter! It’s Alm’s Blade! BAM! Far mightier than your average blade! However, Lissa did not name her weapon, much to Owain’s surprise. After that, Owain succumbs to the power of his sword hand and confuses his father Russia, who thinks he’s either got a bad disease (Hero Syndrome caused by the blood of scions) or cursed (again from the blood of scions). In the end, Nightmare! Owain makes an appearance and Russia goes to fetch Lissa to cure the boy of his mischief. Elsewhere, Twilight makes Primadonna her gopher and makes him fetch all sorts of cursing tools. Finally, Pink confronts Teddie about the blood on his shirt, to which he claims came from making bears explode with dark magic. Why he would go after his friends is unusual, but considering his personality it wouldn’t be surprising. The blood turns out to be from the dog they tried to help earlier, and Pink gets mad at Teddie. Once she hears about his troubling past (he went to Hogwarts after living in a cupboard under the stairs for so many years), she believes his behavior actually comes from that neglect. Teddie just thinks she’s crazy.
Paralogue 15: Heading back to FE ROX, our heroes stumble upon a pair of forts in the snowy wastes, where a group of slavers are trying to capture a red-headed woman. Surprisingly enough, it’s not Anna. Instead, she is the spawn of Twilight and Sugar, named Schizo. Years of abuse caused her to develop a second personality she calls her dark side. This is why you don’t get pregnant in the Twilight Realm, Twilight, and then ditch her there to fend for herself. And Sugar is now a Sugar Daddy. Now they have no choice but to help their daughter and fight off all these powerful promoted units.
Turns spent: 8 turns Midas: Level 20/9 -gains HP, STR, MAG, LCK, RES; gains HP, MAG; gains STR, MAG, SPD, LCK- Chrom: Level 20/5 –gains HP, SPD, LCK, DEF- Lissa: Level 20/7 –gains SKILL, SPD, LCK- Donnel: Level 15/14 –gains 2 HP, STR, DEF- Gaius: Level 20/6 –gains STR- D rank staff Gregor: Level 20/5 –no levels gained- Tharja: Level 20/6 –gains STR, SKILL, SPD, LCK; gains HP, MAG, LCK, DEF- A rank tome Olivia: Level 11/11/5 –HP, SKILL- Henry: Level 20/3 –gains HP, STR, SKILL, SPD, DEF- Lucina: Level 20/9 –gains SKILL, SPD, LCK; gains HP, STR, SPD, LCK, DEF- Owain: Level 15 –gains HP, SPD, LCK, RES; gains HP, STR, SKILL; gains HP, STR, SKILL, SPD, LCK; gains HP, STR, SKILL, DEF, RES- Noire: Level 12 –gains HP, STR, MAG, SKILL, SPD; gains HP, SPD, LCK-

This was actually kind of an impressive turnout. I tried doing this level before Owain’s, but that ended in failure (Olivia died instantly). I sent Tharja and Donnel up to help Noire, who was picking off the flying units (not fast enough to double, but could still do some serious damage) while the others went across the bridge. There were a few close calls (looking at you Lissa), but no one died. Noire and Owain were babied for kills. Good news is, Olivia finally learned Astra, so we can go get Inigo now. Midas killed off the boss, earning him and Lucina MVP once more. I understand that Lucina and Midas are getting seriously fed, but we are trying to get the two of them to hit the shack and open up the Wincest route. That won't happen yet because they didn't support at the end of the chapter. Even if we do Inigo's chapter, they'll still be short a support for the final child.
Schizo meets her mother at last and unleashes her twisted dark side by activating her talisman, but Twilight confiscates the trinket like a good(?) mommy should. Like Owain, Schizo has some serious problems. Chromnom and Pink can only hope their other child isn’t as weird as the previous two children who joined the party…
Paralogue 6: Unfortunately, no amount of wishing will save them.
But first, supports! Lissa adds needlework to the list of things she sucks at. Fortunately, Dr. Sugar bandages here up and even teaches the Princess how to knit because honestly, there’s no way she can effectively make Sunil out of yarn (she was trying to make a kitty cat) and have him meet his lifelong dream of getting to Yarnya. Outside the room where the fourth wall was just torn asunder (from Lissa’s attempts at jousting per Sugar’s suggestion), Sugar goes to cheer up his daughter, who is suffering from the ‘three-day runny nose’ curse. That’s 72 hours, guys. That’s enough time to drop a moon on a certain world. Sugar offers her a candy wrapper to blow her nose on before going to confront his wife about the curse. Shortly after the father goes off to look for Twilight, the woman in question encounters her daughter and is upset about her being a copycat. However, it seems like Schizo developed a habit of copying her mother since she was too busy cursing people’s eyeballs to get revenge for Sugar’s death (in the Future of Despair). Twilight is intrigued by this and makes her daughter once more into a guinea pig. Literally.
Back in the mountains of Alm, our heroes encounter the third non-forced child, the Dread Pirate Roberts. Instead of pillaging boats on the seven seas like his predecessors, he has taken to land and instead tries to plunder some ‘booty’. Not treasure like he’s used to. Oh no, he’s after the ladies. All of the fine a** he could possibly want, without having to wait until his ship reached port to frequent the brothels!
Turns spent: 9 turns Midas: Level 20/13 -gains HP, LCK; gains HP, MAG, LCK, DEF; gains HP, STR, MAG, SKILL, RES; gains HP, MAG, SKILL, SPD- Chrom: Level 20/6 –gains HP, STR, LCK, RES- Lissa: Level 20/7 –gains SKILL, SPD, LCK- Donnel: Level 15/15 –gains HP, STR, MAG- Gaius: Level 20/7 –gains HP, STR, SKILL- Gregor: Level 20/5 –no levels gained- Tharja: Level 20/6 –gains STR, SKILL, SPD, LCK; gains HP, MAG, LCK, DEF- A rank tome Olivia: Level 11/11/6 –HP, SKILL, SPD, LCK- Henry: Level 20/6 –gains HP, STR, MAG, SPD; gains HP, MAG, SKILL, SPD, LCK, DEF, RES; gains HP, STR, SPD, DEF- A rank tome Lucina: Level 20/9 –gains SKILL, SPD, LCK; gains HP, STR, SPD, LCK, DEF- A rank sword Owain: Level 18 –gains HP, SKILL, SPD; gains STR, SKILL, SPD; gains HP, MAG, LCK, RES- Noire: Level 13 –gains HP, STR, MAG, LCK, RES- Inigo: Level 11 –gains HP, SPD, RES-

So uh… Inigo only got one kill. Owain was a meatshield in the fort with his father against a pair of assassins and a sorcerer. Said sorcerer was the one kill Inigo got. Chrom/Olivia and Donnel/Lissa guarded the entrance to the fort against the flying enemies. Henry had a crit party, thus earning him and Tharja MVP. Midas Ignis’d the boss for the kill.
Dread Pirate Roberts finally meets his mother, and they both want to see the other dance but are too embarrassed to be doing any dancing. His father was instead embarrassed watching this scene, and tells his son to quit being a manwhore.
Lots of supports this time too! Midas tells Canilu to stop pushing herself so much by trusting no one, and she begins to fall for him as he offers to support her. Heading outside to catch some fresh air, she finds her brother screaming like the pansy he is because oh snap a bear bug was after him. The big sister, despite how powerful she is, is no match for the flying bear bug and in the end Chromnomnom has to save them both. After a scolding, the siblings felt like a normal family for once. Dread Pirate Roberts runs into his dad again a short while later and is upset with him stopping the boy from scoring one with the ladies (for once). However, Chromnomnom is still upset with his son (not because of the bear bug) because the only thing on his mind are the three Bs: boobs, butts, and babes. The lord storms off to cool his head, and the Dread Pirate wanders around camp a little more before running into his mother, who asks him where he’s going in the middle of the night. While the boy claims to be going out to practice his dance and dance the night away, his mother believes he’s going to a bar and pick up some poor drunken lass and have his way with her. Flabbergasted at the fact that she figured him out so easily, Roberts gives up and retires for the night. Pink realizes she’s late with her frowning lessons with Teddie and goes to make fun of him teach him how to be a sad panda. However, before things get too far, she keels over in laughter at Teddie's inability to make a face that wasn't laughing or smiling. Apparently she was hit with a curse that would cause her to laugh to death. Teddie quickly dispels the curse with his own magic, but she becomes non-responsive. Uh oh, did he use the wrong spell? As he’s yelling at her to stay out of the light, she recovers and points out that he’s no longer smiling. Aw, the psychopath was worried about her! Teddie calls her crazy once more and heads out of the room only to run into Twilight, who was probably responsible for the curse on Pink. The dark bear-mage is cursed with Twilight’s magic and is interrogated about the truths of the world. Once she got her answers, she leaves, but forgets to dispel the curse on him. Oh well. Outside, Russia is upset with Owain for the show he gave earlier (Russia: Stop being a Nightmare! Gregor is not happy with Gregor’s son pretending to be Berserker! He is myrmidon! Use small, pointy sword! Not big hunk of fleshy metal!). However, the father-son moment is cut short as Russia takes an arrow to the knee for his son. Trauma clutches Owain’s heart as he gets his father to safety and, after fetching his mother to tend to Russia’s wounds, goes after the snipers themselves.
He will show them… the GREATEST Nightmare, improvised.
Next time, our heroes will actually return to plot. Hopefully Canilu and Midas can finally hit the shack so that the final child can join the party and the Wincest Route can begin.

Note: Minor typo with Part 8. Tharja should actually be a level higher than listed at the end of Part 8. I marked it via her growths but I forgot to change the number. Everyone is at the correct level on paper with this update though.
Part 9: Legend of Midas: Wincest of Time
Having picked up three of the four missing children, our heroes return to plot as they reach their destination: the Temple of TIme. If they can capture this building, they can send messages through time using the Steins;Gate and hopefully find some way to avert the future of despair in the children’s timelines. After all, there are other suitable (unmarried) parents in the army, so that must mean their (unborn) children are still in the future. If they can contact them, they could let them know that everything is going well! The enemy is strong however, and Sorry decides to try Midas’s role of Tactician since she’s kinda just baggage and tells everyone where they’re going to go, including where the reinforcements from the Ma and Pa Shop army should strike. Midas is miffed by this, but he’ll let her have her fun... for now. Claiming the temple is their highest priority, anyway. Pharos is most displeased with our heroes for desiring the Steins;Gate and rallies her forces. And so, the conflict begins anew.

The reason why the turn count was so high was because I was expecting more reinforcements that didn’t appear, so it took a while to mobilize everyone back towards the throne room. Inigo and Noire took the boss kill. All chests claimed. Owain, Inigo, and Noire were fed delicious exp, and Owain even managed to promote!
And plot twist! The so-called reinforcements have been bought out and turned against their own comrades! The tactician responsible for the buy-out must have inappropriately touched them with money, as he himself stated that he enjoys inappropriate touching! Well, this sucks for the traitorous Ma and Pa Shop Army, as it only means more experience for our heroes! Owain’s sword hand hungered for more souls experience and got enough to shout ‘LEVEL UP!’ as he promoted! After the battle, there appears to be no point sticking around now that our heroes claimed the Steins;Gate, as both Walmart and Yahtzee are on the move with their stores to promote scrupulous spending. Midas plots and decides that someone’s gonna have to be a decoy so that they could take out one of the superstores, in which Samuel L. Jackson offers himself up as the bait. Despite how serious things are, they still discuss tactics over a small helping of Genghis Khan (Samuel L. Jackson admits that he likes his steaks well done, not high). However, before our fearless brown man can set off, Canilu stops him with a prediction that he is going to DIE. Well, crap. There’s the DEAD END everyone’s been dreading. Hooray for future dwellers breaking the laws of time. Hell, we’re even in the Temple of Time where the Steins;Gate is located! Stop breaking the present with your future shenanigans! In order to have Canilu calm her tits, Flavor decides to tag along with Samuel L. Jackson to try to make sure that he doesn’t die, even if she needs to put him on a leash and drag him back. What an odd fetish she has. With one final ‘kiss my FE ROX brown a**’ comment, he and Flavor leave.
Chapter 18: Things don’t go as well as planned. Despite being fearsome chefs who have mastered using sharp, pointy kitchen utensils, the FE ROX units are still annihilated by Walmart and his superstores. At least Samuel L. Jackson is tenacious, as he is the first person in a while to survive his Million-Gold Paper Money Slap aside from Yahtzee. However, even with Flavor support, Sam Jackson falls. Someone better let the Avengers know that their commander is down for the count. Surprisingly, he leaves a parting gift: one of the shiny rocks needed for the Emblem.
And so Samuel L. Jackson goes on into chef heaven, where he’ll be eating Genghis Khan and fulfilling his ethereal duty to pleasure the booty.
Meanwhile, our heroes decide that the best way to deal with Yahtzee and the traitorous Ma and Pa Shop Army would be to fight in Death Mountain. Everyone dons their Goron Tunics and dives into the crater.
But first, supports! Canilu and Midas still don’t hit the shack. Primadonna runs more errands for Twilight, and apparently he doesn’t know what the heck a curse is. Even Twilight remarks that it’s a wonder how his farm village hasn’t been wiped out yet. After errand running, he goes to get more singing lessons from Pink and they talk about the final act of the Phantom of the Opera. Meanwhile, OH MY GODS SCHIZO IS TRYING TO KILL DREAD PIRATE ROBERTS! This is why you don’t touch a crazy lady’s a**! A stray arrow ended up killing a little boy in an orange parka/snowcoat thingy. Oh my gods, Schizo killed Kenny!

I had Gaius and Chrom run around opening chests. Unfortunately, the bottom right chest went up in flames and I don’t remember what was in there. Everyone except Gregor got a level up this time around, which is nice. Inigo and Noire killed Yen’fay, and he got enough experience to hit 20 and promote.
Yahtzee has been defeated. And yet, that tactician from before appears, cackling like the mad-toad he is. It turns out it was all an act: Yahtzee had to play the bad guy so that Sorry wouldn’t meet a sorry bad end. That two-bit performance and the spoilers would have enraged Owain if he heard it, and he would have shown them how a real tragedy unfolds.
After he runs off giggling like a little school girl, our heroes head back to camp to rest. And then the rest bad news comes forth about what happened to Samuel L. Jackson, who had left two parting gifts behind for our heroes. The first is the shiny rock needed for the Emblem, which goes to Chromnomnom. The second, his duty of pleasuring that booty, is given to the Wincest Hero.
And that duty is put right to use as Canilu and Midas FINALLY SUPPORT. ABOUT ******** TIME. It’s… surprisingly normal. He gave her some golden flowers and a confession. AND THEN THEY HIT THE SHACK WITHOUT EVEN BOTHERING TO GET A RING. So uh… looks like shotgun weddings run in the family. But on that note… WE CAN NOW GET THE FINAL CHILD! Meanwhile, Lissa and Teddie talk about Lissa’s poor sleeping habits. She has apparently been sleepwalking lately and it’s been worrying Russia and the others. Teddie says he’s got an idea how to fix this, but needs some time to prepare.
Promoted Dread Pirate Roberts to Dread Hero Roberts. And now we take a small breather to fetch out final child.
Paralogue 12: Our heroes take a break back in FE ROX to deal with Samuel L. Jackson’s funeral. During the wait, they decide to check out a water temple with some weird rumors. Midas only hopes no living water will attack them, because he forgot his hookshot at home. But… there’s someone human here, amidst all the bears Risen.
Turns spent: 11 turns Midas: Level 20/16 –gains STR, MAG, SKILL, SPD, DEF, RES - Chrom: Level 20/8 –no levels gained- Lissa: Level 20/10 –no levels gained- Donnel: Level 15/18 –no levels gained- Gaius: Level 20/8 –no levels gained- Gregor: Level 20/7 –gains HP, STR, MAG, SKILL, DEF- Tharja: Level 20/8 –no levels gained- Olivia: Level 11/11/7 –no levels gained- Henry: Level 20/7 –no levels gained- Lucina: Level 20/11 –no levels gained- Owain: Level 20/4 –gains STR, MAG, SKILL, SPD, LCK, DEF- Noire: Level 19 –gains MAG, DEF; gains HP, SKILL, SPD, LCK- Inigo: Level 20/1 –no levels gained- Morgan: Level 20 –gains HP, STR, MAG, SPD, RES; gains STR, MAG, SPD, LCK; gains HP, MAG, SKILL, LCK; gains HP, STR, MAG, LCK; gains HP, STR, MAG, SKILL, SPD, LCK; gains HP, MAG, SPD, LCK, DEF, RES; gains EVERYTHING BUT SPD; gains HP; gains MAG, SKILL; gains EVERYTHING BUT RES- -> Promoted to Grandmaster!

Midas, you are a good Father, and you should be proud of your daughter. She… she went up ten levels and HOLY CRAP LOOK AT THOSE GROWTHS! It’s like she got Aptitude or something, but nope! She’s got Aether from Lucina and Rally Spectrum from Midas. Maybe it’s her hidden skill? :3c For some reason, the Risen went after Gregor even though he was well behind walls of people and clearly not worth attacking. But the game’s weird like that and as a result I couldn’t get Morgan and Noire to promote together. Oh well. One of the thieves did get away, but I only lost a bullion.
The human in question lost in the Water Temple is Link numerous players who struggled or got locked in the Water Temple Morgan, who Midas is the Fauder of. She’s very bubbly despite having no memory of anything aside from her daddy. I guess amnesiacs are like that? Midas welcomes his daughter into the group with open arms and begins plotting how to further spread his seed into the royal family I mean WHAT. And after the battle, Morgan promotes to Grandmaster.
So in terms of children, we have… a girl with a birth defect, a schizophrenic, an amnesiac, a boy with a soul-eating sword hand, and some pirate playboy who couldn’t score with a woman even if she paid him. Not the best of children, it seems… Then again it’s not like the parents were that great either.
Next time, there will be more supporting. There will also be fights against lobster superstores and protecting a songbird from waves of larger birds.

However, because of this royal trinity (Owain, Lucina, Inigo, and a Morgan sitting in MU's loins), one pair of children will have to go with the companionship route.
And so it begins.
Part 10: The Fall of the Super Stores Yahtzee has fallen. Sorry finally sees that her brother gets his Chosen burial: a funeral pyre. Honestly, they could have saved a lot of money if they just used Death Mountain’s lava, but then again they wouldn’t have ashes left when it was done. It’s a shame. He was the Chosen One, but he doesn’t get an end like Anakin Skywalker in Episode III, but more like the one in Episode VI(whoever he is).
Better buy a Bronze Sword for Schizo and a Heal for the convoy for future use. Morgan also promotes, as promised. Equipment is also passed around (Lissa upgrades to Steel Axe, Russia inherits her Iron Axe, Primadonna inherits his Bronze Axe, Chromnomnom upgrades to Iron Lance, Canilu gets a Javelin, Owain inherits Pink’s Steel Sword, etc.).
Chapter 19: Our heroes waltz right up to the gates at Wal-Mart HQ, but what’s this?! None of the stores are open for business? Is it a holiday or something? As they ponder about this unusualness, CostCo and Xtra discuss today’s tactics. Xtra seems to think everything will go according to plan. After all, he is a brilliant tactician. Why should he dirty his hands when he can just use the Ma and Pa Shop Army to do the work for him? As he suggests bear tea (huh, apparently they have that brand in Alm too), Wal-mart appears and tells Xtra that he’s nothing more than a blabbering idiot and that there is no glory in his silly tactics. Xtra doesn’t seem very happy about that, and even more so when CostCo ranks him below even handlebar mustaches. Oh, the burn. After he goes off to handle today’s grooming, the toad-faced tactician talks to himself about all his elaborate schemes and how he’ll end up winning no matter what. Sounds like someone’s just signed himself a DEAD END.
And so our heroes face Wal-Mart and his might outside of the HQ.
But first, supports! We have a lot of supports today! Morgan tries her hand at traps and attempts to trap her Fauder, but he sees right through her. The ‘Pull Me!’ rope is far too obvious of a trap, and there is no Party Ball hanging above them with awesome new toys. Only bears. After that disappointment, Morgan goes to talk to her Mother about the ‘whole invisible bond-link… thingy’ and the two attempt to help Morgan remember Canilu. Meanwhile, Dread Pirate Roberts is about to head to the market to pick up ladies that are just ripe for the picking, but Schizo goes after him to make sure he doesn’t do that. Shenanigans ensue, and it ends with the young playboy screaming like a little girl as he runs for his life, arms flailing about. While the two lovebirds chase each other around, Lissa decides to give Primadonna some schooling. But apparently he knows more than she thought he did and the young princess storms off. Unfortunately, she twists her ankle after she’s pretty far from camp and is now panicking at the thought of being ‘eaten by a bear or a lumberjack or something!’ Apparently lumberjacks are cannibals. Who knew? Primadonna finds her pretty quickly in his tractor and he gives her a ride back to camp. A little while later, Russia asks Twilight for help. While she isn’t willing to give it, Russia’s packing the Selective Hearing skill, allowing him to hear only what he wants to hear and ignoring everything else. Hooray for being old! But it turns out the reason why she’s not willing to help him is because her magic won’t work on him. She storms off after some teasing, and Russia goes after her as he still needs her help.

There is nothing more impressive than a string of critical hits. Lucina did nothing but crit in EVERY. SINGLE. FIGHT. Also, I have reason to believe that Walhart’s armor actually isn’t red, but it’s red because of how much blood he’s spilled onto it. It’s probably some weird ritual he has. He is inexorable. Chrom settles the battle against the lobster in one round, with a critical at the second half of Aether. The good news is that now everyone is a promoted class of some sort. Donnel became the hero he always dreamed of becoming, and Noire became a Bow Knight for additional movement and for some way to attack from close range. Weapon ranks galore as well. Probably for the first time in this draft’s history, an enemy survived the battle. Heroes are Donnel and Olivia for handling the entire left side of the map on their own, with some small support from Lucina and Midas.
After the superstore had his a** handed to him, he retreats back into the HQ to recover. Before our heroes could give chase, the Ma and Pa Shop Army appear at their backs. Is it another battle?
Chapter 20: Nope! They actually joined us. Xtra’s plan has just gone down the metaphorical drain. Speaking of that toady, he seems to want to escape. However, Wal-Mart cuts him off and forces him to stay in the castle and fight to the death. It looks like Xtra’s plans only worked if they had Yahztee to back it up, but since he’s ashes right now, there’s nothing stopping the Ma and Pa Shop Army from doing as they please. Apparently Xtra had other secrets, but nothing is hidden from Wal-Mart. He knows about the blackmailing, and… wait, what?
Why does he have a list of the three sizes for all our women in our army?
…
That b*****d!
Wal-Mart is not amused either, and has just downgraded Xtra from tactician to court jester. He’s also been nominated to lead their forces against our heroes. And so, there is now a triple boss treat for our heroes.
But first, supports! Owain shows off his playwright and theatrical abilities to Morgan by stating that they were fated to meet, that there was something connecting the two of them. Morgan states that she’ll only believe they were partners in another life if he can prove that he’s capable of cooking. And so, he must do battle against his greatest challenge yet: the kitchen.

Cervantes: Like a flimsy belt around the waist of defeat, you shall buckle here! –OHKO’D- Excellus: You think I’m afraid? OF YOU?! Come, then. COME AT ME, BRO! –ORKO’D- Walhart: You think that’s what you’ve done? What your sister did before you? No, she shouted some nonsense and leapt off a rock! Suck weakness! Come then, flea, and die for your peace! –ORKO’D-
Uh… where is challenge? Chrom killed both Cervantes and Walhart. Midas killed Excellus. Lots of people hit level 10. All chests opened. I waited this long for the reinforcements, and the kids got some levels off of them. Inigo also pulled an impressive feat of critting three times within an Astra in a row (out of three. The enemy didn’t last after the third hit). That pretty much sums up the chapter.
The war’s over. Oh, Chromnomnom also get another shiny rock from Sorry to add to the Emblem, as thanks for their efforts. Just one more and then they can summon the dragon and get their wishes granted be prepared for the events leading to the Future of Despair.
After returning to their home, Chromnomnom works his mind to try to learn how to perform the ritual after he sends Freddy Krueger to find the whereabouts of the last stone. Canilu eavesdrops on the conversation he has with Midas about the ritual and tries to stop him, but before they could get any further on the matter, Freddy Krueger returns to inform them of the whereabouts of the final stone.
Fodder has it, in Pledge. It looks like our heroes have business with them once more.
But first…
Paralogue 17: Our heroes return to Alm one last time to check out the local scenery, and they find a rather peaceful location that’s been untouched by the war. Some of them even want to kick back and take a load off (and partake in romantic couple things). According to Sorry, it’s called the Cradle. Huh. So this is where babies come from. The songbird they won a while back can perform a ritual here to gain power. Things aren’t quite as calm as they would have liked, as bears Risen riding wolves. Oh gods, Midas’s dream from a long time ago came true! flying beasts come to crash the party. Their target is the songbird. Can our heroes keep her safe long enough for her to power up and go Super Saiyan?
But first, supports! Holy crap we got a lot of supports last chapter! I guess we’ll start from the top! Teddie finds Lissa and asks if she got over her sleepwalking problem. She did, but when she found out what’s been done to help her, she gets mad at him and bans him from using cute forest animals as sacrifices to help her get a good night’s rest. Meanwhile, Russia is still trying to get Twilight to listen to his request. She’s still pretty mad about her curses having no effect on him, though. She does listen to his one request after enough pestering, and it seems like Russia wants to speak to a dead guy. It will take a while to get the materials to pull this off, though. Speaking of bad juju, it seems like Schizo is still hunting the Dread Pirate Roberts. However, he one-ups her and catches her by surprise. She ends up confessing who asked her to keep an eye on him whenever he went to go pick up girls: his Fauder. The Dread Pirate Roberts does seem to always pick up a troublesome girl. If it isn’t the lady-thief Cath causing trouble, it was the female cutpurse with the glass eye, or the female arsonists, or the band of nudists… The list goes on. Schizo threatens him to make sure that he’s as apologetic as the severity of his crimes before letting him off. She is one… feisty lady. Shortly after those events, Pink approaches Primadonna and asks if he would want to see her dance. However, he would need to sing while she danced. One hot lap dance later, the two of them are in tears from how good it was, and apparently Pink is up for one more dance if Primadonna wants to see. Sounds like someone’s cheating~ Elsewhere, Owain successfully prepares the most epic meal of all time. Who knew he was a culinary genius? The meal is so grand, so magnificent, and so delicious that it needs a name. A name that will give it even more power and fuel the devourer with such strength that not even a god could defeat them. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to name it because Morgan ate it all. Round one of wooing the lady cleared. Now he must find two gemstones to swear loyalty to. Sounds like marriage…

The first few turns I had everyone spaced out (two pairs on the left, two on the right, the remaining two pairs and the lone person cover the middle), but once it became waves of 3 or more, I tightened up the formation and set it up so that they could never reach Tiki. I call it the Pentagon Formation. Of course, this meant that the two people I had on either side of the bottom point were prime targets for the enemies. It was just my luck that the ginger fathers were in those positions. Well, they still did pretty well despite being constant targets. Gregor stayed alive with Sol and Gaius just dodged everything. I need to feed Noire and Inigo more levels so that they can keep up with the rest of the children. Chrom and Lissa were the MVP. Noire and Inigo killed the boss.
The songbird has power now and she joins our heroes to save the world. But she is no ordinary songbird. Oh no, indeed she isn’t, for she has the power to turn into a dragon. Shame it isn’t the wishing dragon, but still pretty cool. But there is no need for busty child dragon, so she gets boxed in Bill’s PC with the rest of the non-draftees.
Next time, our heroes will venture to Pledge. Confrontations will be had, incest may occur, the sword-hand will probably twitch and most of all, there will be blood. Yay, blood!

Part 11: THE BEAR-POCALYPE IS UPON USThe war in Alm is no more. The Super Store army has been defeated. Genghis Khan, the pride and joy of the FE ROX nation, will remain within FE ROX for good with no more threats to its origins. Our heroes return to their homeland to seek out the final gemstone to summon the wish dragon to awaken Chrom’s Falchion. Chapter 21:Word has it that Pledge has it, so our heroes go to seek a meeting with them. On the way there, our heroes stumble upon some interesting fossils, to which Canilu states is the monster that plagued her world in her time. Cue cutscene. s**t gets real. End cutscene. Cue touching moment between Fauder and Daughter. Speaking of Fauders, our heroes meet Fodder again. And… he threatens Midas’s wife. Chromnomnom and Midas don’t take kindly to that, and after some coercion (Give us the Emblem or die), our heroes make a run for it. But can they escape from the castle alive? Before they start with the running, supports! Midas finds Sugar running a shop (Midas: In the middle of a castle, right before a battle?!). He happens to be selling all sorts of trinkets, from silk smallclothes from exotic ports (Should totally get that for you and your wife, Midas), to top-quality figs, to even strategy guides. Yes, Midas asked for strategy guides. He’s trying to figure out how to end this battle safely, so he wants the official FE:A strategy guide. For some reason, despite the fourth-wall breaking, Sugar actually has them. All of the strategy guides, actually, including the one for Wind Waker that he still hadn’t returned. Midas gets mad when Sugar gives it to him in exchange for keeping quiet about the poison ivy from before, but he continues to insist that he’s not blackmailing him. Turns spent: 13 turns Midas: Level 20/19 –gains HP, MAG- Chrom: Level 20/14 –gains STR, SPD, LCK- C rank lances Lissa: Level 20/14 –gains HP, STR, MAG, SKILL, DEF, RES- Donnel: Level 15/20/5 –gains 2 HP, STR, MAG, SKILL, LCK- Gaius: Level 20/12 –gains HP, STR, SPD- Gregor: Level 20/12 –no levels gained- Tharja: Level 20/11 –gains HP, SKILL, SPD, RES- D rank swords Olivia: Level 11/11/8 –no levels gained- Henry: Level 20/8 –gains HP, MAG, SKILL, SPD, DEF- D rank swords Lucina: Level 20/16 –gains HP, STR, SKILL, SPD, LCK; gains STR, MAG, SKILL, SPD, LCK- C rank lances Owain: Level 20/12 –gains HP, SKILL, SPD; gains HP, STR, SPD, LCK, DEF- A rank swords Noire: Level 20/7 –gains HP, STR, SPD, DEF; gains HP, STR, LCK, RES- Inigo: Level 20/6 –gains HP, STR, SPD; gains HP, SKILL, SPD, LCK, DEF, RES- Morgan: Level 20/12 –gains MAG, SKILL, LCK, DEF, RES; gains HP, STR, MAG, SPD, LCK, DEF- B rank tome Items found: Hector’s Axe Cue recolor of a boss used in a Paralogue we don’t have access to. I think he might also be in an earlier chapter, but I dunno. I really hate how the enemy decides to lock themselves behind doors, and I only have one unit with Locktouch to run around and open s**t. Fortunately, the game was nice enough to have some master keys on hand, so I used one of those to help with the chest grabbing. Mires were no problem to dodge. Enemy reinforcements (excluding the ones out of range) were no problem. Hell, this chapter wasn’t much of an issue at all. Midas killed Algol, and Morgan and Owain were the heroes. The kids got several levels and several people got weapon ranks. Not too shabby. For whatever reason, our heroes still haven’t escaped the building even after killing off the boss. What, are they lost or something? Why didn’t anyone remember to draw a map on the way in?! Fodder appears out of nowhere and pokes Chromnomnom in the eyes, causing massive damage. Fodder then says a song title Smack That – All On the Floor Run All You Like - You Can’t Escape Fate. Chromnomnom resists, so Fodder uses his Fauderly powers to make Midas do his bidding (in the form of threatening to ground him and ending his adventure if he didn’t do as he says). Unable to resist his father, Midas takes the Emblem and adds the final stone to complete it. Now it goes to the dinner table as an elaborate trinket! How will Chromnomnom defend himself now without his trusty little shield?! Chapter 22:Midas admits to having the blood of scions (the Wincest Hero blood) running in his veins and asks for everyone to leave him behind. Holy crap, is Midas channeling Nightmare or something? (Owain: Hey! That’s MY job! D< ) Despite his efforts to convince them to ditch him, they rally him on with the power of friendship and invisible bond-thingies. Canilu, however, is unconvinced, and calls her husband aside. With that gorgeous sunset in the background, she gives him a confession. It has reached the point where they can actually begin to ‘wrestle’, if you know what I mean. (There’s supposedly a 3rd option that allows you to actually wrestle with her, but I can’t trigger it.) Regardless of what answer Midas gives her, Canilu falters and gives into his manly temptations because Midas is just that awesome of a husband. Chromnomnom has apparently been eavesdropping on his daughter and son-in-law. (Chromnomnom: You done yet? No sexy times for you. Not on my watch, at least. -face-) With some convincing from her father, Canilu accepts the decision and allows her husband to complete his journey. And so they march off to the dinner table. There seems to be a gathering at the table and strange looking lights in the form of mushrooms in the sky (Midas: UFOS?!). Our heroes cannot have aliens involved in this battle, so they head off to stop this strange cultish ritual, only to learn the truth about the dinner table. It is in fact a dinner table… of sacrifices to the dark god. And so, to buy Fodder some time, Bitchtits calls forth 12 Breadlords to hold our heroes off. 13 heroes on the field, 12 Breadlords. 1 b***h. My my, how those number match so well~ But first, supports! Chromnomnom asks his sister how her mission went. She got a lot of answers, like she should be more calm and stop throwing childish tantrums, or stop being so picky about her food. Someone even told her to stick her pinky out when she drinks tea! But the most common answer was for her to do nothing. Absolutely nothing, just like a real princess would do! She makes them happy, and that’s all that matters to Chromnomnom. Meanwhile, Sugar is hitting on Pink. Think about that for a moment. Both are married. One is Chromnomnom’s night-life buddy, the other his wife. And he asks her to do a taste-test for him. And she does. WHOA NELLY. Someone better get a lawyer out here, cuz it sounds like an AFFAIR’s going down! And what’s worse, they agree to let her taste-test Sugar’s work later! Elsewhere, Russia is talking to Twilight about the results of her research. She has completed it, so she asks who she’s gonna talk to. Russia asks to speak to his brother, Russia. Which is odd, considering that they are both named ‘Russia’. However, it appears that Russia took Russia’s name after Russia died, if that makes any sense, which would explain why Twilight’s magic had no effect on the Russian. And so, they contact Russia’s dead brother, who happens to be living it up in the afterlife. All is forgiven, and Russia promises to bring his soul with him the next time he and Twilight meet. …Wait, what? Several hours later, Owain returns to Morgan with the shiny rocks. She apparently doesn’t remember that she sent him out on a dangerous journey to find them. He went to the underworld itself just to find one of them, and the other he had to pry from Gaia’s hands in an equally deadly encounter with bears sharks. Owain even recorded his adventures in his Hero’s Manual of Justice, which he would have shared if it wasn’t so bloody long. All obstacles cleared, Morgan and Owain become partners for life, although Morgan isn’t sure what that entails (Morgan: I mean, do we stand next to each other when we fight, or… what?). Owain did not think that far ahead, meaning he got into this marriage with Morgan without realizing what he was getting into. It must run in the family of scions or something. Speaking of marriages, the Dread Pirate Roberts and Schizo actually get married somehow. It all started with a cup of tea, followed by some questions in which the Dread Pirate Roberts confirms that Schizo wanted him to hit on her. She even brings up the past about how he never hit on her, and that he would rather hit on signs in front of a bakery than hit on her. It sounds like she’s not even good enough in his eyes, so she gets angry and throws scalding hot tea in his face before she demands that he flirt with her. He wanted to, but he found her scary and at the same time, different. Like… something mortal hands weren’t meant to touch. But after that push, he finally gets around to flirting with her and the first words out of his mouth after that is “Will you marry me?” She does marry him, but not before putting a few arrows into him. The Dread Pirate Roberts must be a masochist or something… Turns spent: 6 turns Midas: Level 20/20 –gains HP, SKILL, SPD, LCK- -> Class Change to Sorcerer! Chrom: Level 20/15 –gains HP, STR, MAG, SKILL, LCK, DEF- Lissa: Level 20/14 –no levels gained- Donnel: Level 15/20/5 –not in combat- Gaius: Level 20/12 –no levels gained- Gregor: Level 20/12 –no levels gained- Tharja: Level 20/11 –no levels gained- Olivia: Level 11/11/9 –gains HP, SPD, LCK- Henry: Level 20/9 –gains HP, STR, SKILL, SPD, RES- Lucina: Level 20/16 –no levels gained- Owain: Level 20/13 –gains HP, MAG, SKILL, RES- Noire: Level 20/10 –gains HP, SPD, LCK, DEF; gains HP, MAG, SKILL, SPD, LCK; gains HP, STR, SPD- Inigo: Level 20/6 –no levels gained- Morgan: Level 20/13 –gains HP, STR, MAG- Items found: N/A Bitchtits: Focus on our battle, instead! If you truly are as gifted as my master says… There is no need for me to hold back! –OHKO’d- Uh… where’s the challenge? Aversa certainly didn’t deliver. The Deadlords at least put up a fight, although they went down easily enough. I class changed Midas to Sorcerer to let someone use Dark Magic (to give a full coverage of all weapons) after he hit 20, and he went on to murder Aversa with a single blow. Noire gained a fair number of levels, putting her ahead of her husband, while several others claimed kills of the Deadlords themselves. Midas and Lucina are the heroes. Our heroes faced the Breadlords, culinary warriors that were masters in both the kitchen and in battle. Sounds a lot like the warriors from FE ROX, only these supposedly hailed from the entire continent. There were a few familiar faces as well… as if they held some sort of connection to our heroes. Excluding Midas, whose connection was with Bitchtits, the remaining 12 heroes on the field had some sort of connection with at least one of the Breadlords. And so, after the battle, they were given the bread to deliver to the dinner table, in hopes of stopping the ritual. Pressed for time, our heroes race towards the table to stop Fodder. Chapter 23:Our heroes arrive just in time for dinner. But before they begin the fight, Midas asks for a favor to Chromnomnom. No, it isn’t about sleeping with his daughter despite being married. It was that if things don’t go well and if it looked like Midas would do something out of his control, stop him right there. Chromnomnom resisted, but then Midas pulled the whole invisible bond-thingy line on him. With a nod, they face Fodder and the meals for the dark god. And so, a truth is revealed via plot twist. Whelp, now we HAVE to kill Midas. Or kill Fodder and reclaim the Emblem. Whichever one proves easier, really. Since Midas is pretty powerful and Fodder’s stats are pathetic compared to his son’s, the answer is obvious. With the power of friendship, our heroes shall prevail. … Goddammit, you guys better not draw a smiley face on your hands. You don’t even have the ink for it! But first, supports! Sugar returns to Schizo after a failed meeting with his wife. Schizo thinks her daddy is crying, but he was hit with the same curse as her: the five-day runny nose curse. If only they had some mucinex… The good news is, at least Schizo’s curse is gone, even though it’s been over 5 days. Oh well. Schizo is sad at the fact that he was unable to make a difference, meaning that her future would most likely be as bleak here as it was in her timeline. Oh noes. Sugar, you better do something so that your daughter doesn’t end up miserable and schizophrenic… oh wait. She already is. … Whoops. Meanwhile, Pink feeds Russia. Pink apparently has never made food before, so we can only hope she doesn’t cripple Russia right before the big fight. Surprisingly, Russia recognizes the dish: FE ROX bear stew. In fact, he knows the dish so well he even created a secret spice to add to it to make it even more delicious! Pink wants some of that secret spice, but it will take Russia some time to get the ingredients necessary to make it. Let her feed the local oafs first, and then she should come find him. Sounds like Russia just insulted the whole army… Turns spent: 8 turns Midas: Level 20/20/1 –no levels gained- Chrom: Level 20/16 –gains HP, SKILL, SPD- Lissa: Level 20/15 –gains STR, SPD- Donnel: Level 15/20/6 –gains HP, STR, SKILL, SPD, LCK, RES- A rank swords Gaius: Level 20/15 –gains HP, STR, SKILL, SPD, LCK, RES; gains HP, STR, SKILL, SPD; gains HP, STR, MAG, LCK- Gregor: Level 20/12 –no levels gained- Tharja: Level 20/11 –no levels gained- Olivia: Level 11/11/10 –gains HP, MAG, SPD, LCK- Henry: Level 20/10 –gains HP, SPD, DEF- Lucina: Level 20/16 –no levels gained- Owain: Level 20/15 –gains HP, DEF, RES; gains HP, STR, SPD, LCK- Noire: Level 20/11 –gains HP, STR, SKILL, LCK, DEF, RES- Inigo: Level 20/8 –gains HP, MAG, SKILL, LCK, DEF; gains HP, SKILL, LCK- Morgan: Level 20/15 –gains HP, STR, SKILL, LCK, RES; gains HP, MAG, SPD- Items found: N/A Um… this was pretty easy too. Midas OHKO’d his father the first time, and then Chrom ORKO’d him the second time because woo, spoilers you fight Validar twice here. How ironic that it was originally a father/son battle, and then a battle between grandfathers. I made sure to get all the enemy reinforcements killed because yay experience! Several people also hit level 15, so more skills and power to them! Noire and Gaius are the heroes. But oh my gods, everyone was critting left and right or activating a skill of some sort. Owain of all people was spamming crit Astra and crit Sol like it was second nature to him. It’s frikkin Critmas here! Merry Critmas for everybody! Enemies, have your presents! A crit to the face and a boot to the head! Fauder finally kicks the bucket. Unfortunately, it’s too early to celebrate as Midas’s twin appears. Now the real problem arises and there is still one more enemy to defeat. More truths are revealed about the Wincest Hero’s destiny, about who Twin Midas really is, about the future, and about you, the readers. Oh yes, he knows all about you~ And so, he finally reveals his true form. The Dark God, Grizzly Bear, is resurrected once more. Whelp, better NOPE our way out of here. Next time, our heroes will finally finish their adventure. Midas will finally fulfill his legacy as the Wincest Hero. Morgan and Owain will officially be married, and then we can finally be done. Two more updates left after this!
