Nuke may have a lot of strength and power for a man his size, but the weight game comes in to play as Jarel flips Nuke on to his back and sets up for this assault of his own. Drawing up his arms to protect his torso and face as best as he can, Nuke had to get this countered quick.

Jarel has to relent, mostly because the referee is being a really big b***h about it. He rises up again, waiting for Nuke to stand again to attempt to clock him with one more right to the jaw

Jarel steps back and to his feet, and Nuke has to rush to do the same. That was right before he was cuaght on the jaw hard with a right hook, sending him down to one knee holding his face.

Jarel looks to follow up with a boot to the skull, aiming to take Nuke back to the mat and keep the smaller, faster man grounded

For most of this match Jarel had taken Nuke down, and why would that stop now? The boot connected with clear authority, as Nuke was left sprawled out across the canvas of the squared circle. The ref came to him to check him over, then moved back as he saw him still breathing, awaiting Jarel's next methodical move.

Jarel hits the ropes and rebounds, jumping up high and attempting to drop his leg across the neck of Nuke, then go for the first pinfall attempt of the match

The crowd cheered as Jarel ran against the ropes, knowing what was coming as he dropped a big leg across the neck of the man on the mat. The ref dropped down for a count as Jarel hooked his leg.
One!
Tw-
Kicking out just before the 2 count, Nuke was showing that although he was hurt right now, it was going to take a whole lot more to take him out of this match.

Jarel isn't all that surprised. He's focused. He rises and reaches down to pull Nuke up by his arm. Once Nuke is on his feet, he would push him back and then attempt to whip him to the corner. From here, he'd look to follow him in with a clothesline against the turnbuckle

Through all of this punishment, Nuke was hoping in some way to wear out Jarel as well, being the older of the two 'veterans'. Brought up to his feet, Nuke was flung around and sent flying in to a clothesline, followed up by a hard clothesline that sent him slumped down against the turnbuckle.
The momentum was clearly on Damone's side here.

Jarel backs up a few steps and looks out at the crowd. It's finally time for a bigger move. He raises his hand and the cheers come on full force as they await Nuke's rise. Jarel is also waiting, as the sign indicates, to attempt a chokeslam

Nuke shook his head side to side and grabbed the ropes either side of him to lift his body up. Stepping forward, he then walks right towards where Jarel was, not realising what was coming.

the Dragon looks to catch Nuke by the throat with his right hand, and as the crowd is going wild, he looks to lift him up and plant him with the chokeslam

Nuke is lifted right up from his feet, feeling the mat leave his bearings. That's when instincts kick in and his grips the head of Jarel, going to use the momentum to drop him in to an Impaler DDT!

Jarel has Nuke up in the air, sure that the end is here.....that is, until his head is caught and driven forcefully to the mat with a DDT. the impact actually forces him to flip over on his back, holding his head

The crowd were stunned as many of them put their hands on their heads, not knowing what to make of it. It was an incredible counter, but they just saw one of their heroes take a potentially career-ending move right in the center of the ring.
Nuke dropped hard on the mat as well, but he couldn't just stop there. Rolling to his feet, he immediately moved towards a turnbuckle. Jumping up and looking behind him, he pointed at Jarel and then out at the crowd who he was facing. Breathing in deeply, that's when Nuke tried pulling off a move that he hadn't used since he first started.. a moonsault!
