Losing it, he had to be finally going insane from loss of blood, it was the only explanation for this. What else could explain these two creatures that seemed to outright ignore him and lay down like common house pets? Even if he was going insane, Cora still needed to get away from those things. They might be calm for now, but how long could that last, it was in their nature to be destructive, after all the proof was in the pudding that was all around them!
Peeling his disbelieving gaze from the monsters he looked to Cora, now noticing her just staring at him. Frowning he realized she must be in shock, Tonio instantly felt a stab of guilt for not arriving sooner and yet another for begging her to come along on this vacation. Just about to move he only remained in place since Cora was already running for him, opening his arms he took her into them gladly, then promptly went brain-dead as he was kissed.
His hands fell to his sides as his lips were captured, mind drawing a blank until Cora pulled back, even if his lips countered the kiss on instinct with one of their own. After a few startled moments he weakly pulled his hands back up and let them rest on her hips before pulling her into a hug. "I'm so sorry.." Flushing bright read, he got it now, "let's get out of here..these things are creeping me out.." Petting over her hair for a moment he pulled back and looked down at her, smiling for the first time since all hell had decided to break loose. Of course he wanted to embrace Cora more now that, well now that he could, but it was way to weird at the moment even in the heat of it, considering he could feel the watching eyes of the monsters.
Moving his hands into Cora's he attempted to guide her further away from the beast. Sorry monsters no matter how glad he was at the moment, he was not an exhibitionist and they needed to keep moving.

Cora eyes were half close as she looks up at Tonio, she didn't want to run. Not anymore, if they were going to die, then damnnit she didn't care. Shaking her head she leans up close near his ear "I'm tired of running Tonio. If we die...then we do. But I want something first." slipping her hand back to his cheek, she looks into his eyes, her own steel blue locking with his. She had no intention on leaving this area just yet, and she honestly didn't give a damn about the dragon or the Cerberus at the moment.
Leaning in, her lips brushed his at first very gentle before they became little more demanding.

With the kiss what few moments of clarity he had went out the window. Said kiss enough of a spark for a nearly impossible feat, one that involved the Spaniard pulling Cora backwards until they were hidden behind larger rocks away from the creatures, and the nest of the kraken.

Well at least the humans had, had the sense of going behind some rocks to act on whatever baser urges they might have had. With a huff and a rumble, the dragon nudged the Cerberus away from the two a fair peace, wing outstretched to herd the Cerberus the way he wanted him to go.
<Let's go watch the path over here, Fluffy... Some humans dissipated me here earlier and I am hoping to catch them if they come back this way.>
He wouldn't mind an extra set of eyes, plus it allowed him to ignore the two humans behind the rocks.
Fluffy was very confused. Very confused indeed. What. Were. The. Humans. Doing.
Strange.
He sort of stared in a gawking fashion like anyone confronted with something they couldn't fathom. And then looked at the dragon as he spoke and ushered him off to do something else when they left. [Humans shot you too?] Apparently there were still bad ones left. [The one that shot me got blown up.] Because that happened. Still, he figured he could help.
Bad humans still needed to die. [Which humans?]

The Dragon snorted and shook his head laying down in the middle of the path to block the way. Dragon barricade for the win.
<Eh, I will know them when I see them,> he grunted to the Cerberus.

They had guns and hit him with a 4-wheeler, that's all he really can recall.
Pulling her jacket back on over her shirt, she blinks as she looks over the paper that Cecil somehow managed to leave behind. A full on blush rising to her cheeks as she looks it over for a moment. It kind of scared her, the fact he came out of no where, but she wasn't even going to think about that.
No....
Looking over the so called map, she blinks a few times before she turns to Tonio "Tonio....maybe we should see if this will get us off this island." at this point, she was willing to try anything as long as they could get away from it all. Glancing back down, she laughs just a little "I mean, what do we honestly have to lose at this point?"
It was true, at the moment...
Turning her eyes towards the area in which she buried Les, she felt the pain hit her again over his death. She didn't know him, but she grew to care about him just because of everything they were dealing with. Then her eyes scan for the Dragon the the Cerberus. Somehow, she grew fond of them both, and honestly didn't want to leave them.
Looking back to Tonio, she chews on her lip before she slips her hand into his "Come on, we should check this out. One last adventure?" she tries to give him a weak smile as she moves back down the mountain.

Hearing the rustle of paper he glances up to Cora with a raised brow. What was that and why was it making her flush so brightly? Standing up, he comes in behind Cora's left shoulder to look over the map, blushing now himself.
When, how...why.
"I mean, what do we honestly have to lose at this point?" The words hit him like a ton of bricks to the chest, she was right though, what did they have to lose. If they made it, if it was a dead-end, would it even matter at this point? Looking over the map he smoothed his hands over his torn jeans, then tried to take the paper from Cora for a better view.
Silent and serious he laced his fingers with Cora's and nodded. "One last adventure." It was worth a shot. A countered smile was offered for a moment and then he too carefully started back down the mountain behind her.
Tavast did not know when he'd dozed off, but in the intervening time his toys had managed to escape.
Snorting he stood up, nudging Fluffy with a wing and padding off, tracking the scent - now much stronger thanks to the humans recent activity - in an attempt to track them down.
They made him feel strong when he had them on edge - he'd like to keep them alive until they were no longer of any use.

Fluffy had fallen asleep as well after a while. Goodness knows how with what was probably going on nearby, but maybe it was just that he'd never gotten the nap he wanted the day before. Either way the nudging woke him up and, albeit a bit slowly, he did get up and follow after the dragon. He was just a bit slow about it since he really didn't feel too up for much at the moment.
[Right...] Wouldn't following them just heighten the chance they'd get the humans killed?
