Xeiro was still sending glares over to his daughter, especially when a girl approached her. He ******** knew it! There was always something off about that child of his! She was always too outgoing and too ...whore-y! She got that s**t from her mother. It was very hard for him to hide his anger, and it didn't help at all when an obvious male voice came to him, thinking that they were on a date. He scoffed, and turned his head to look at this simple fool. "I believe we have a misunderst--- Holy s**t. You're way down there, aren't you?" His attention was quickly drawn away from the problem at hand when he realized that he couldn't even see the person in front of him without turning his head down a considerable amount. There was so much fury built up in him over his daughter, that he really couldn't even be bothered to laugh at this poor man's misfortune or deal with the fact that he thought he was his date. However, he also couldn't be bother to go on a real date, anyway. "Here, you can have these." He pushed the oleander bouquet at the strange man and turned his attention back over to staring at Lyra and her date when he got an idea. "You know what. This could probably work. What do you say we go have our little date over there in those bushes?" He nodded his head towards Lyra's current location. Maybe from there he could hear that it was all just a big understanding for her, too.

Ezekiel wasn't at all deterred when the other young man showed up. Or at least he wasn't by his presence. It was more because he had recognized the young man as the brother to someone he had become well acquainted with. He didn't have much of a problem with the young male, but he just never quite got over the fact that he had made fun of his magic once before. All of a sudden turning the bouquet didn't seem all too cool anymore, and actually turned out to be a little embarrassing. "Asa. Hi. Is your brother here?" He turned his head and scoured the area, quickly spotting Sage in conversation with some other guy. This brought his attention back to the situation at hand. "Oh, yeah. That's fine if he wants to tag along. I just thought we'd go to the movies. I've really been wanting to see that new Superman movie, but my sister isn't much into all that comic stuff. Sound good?" He hadn't entirely planned on taking two people, but it really didn't matter to him either way. The feelings would be much different if his date had been an attractive male his age. But, that wasn't the case so the more the merrier!

Keegan gently rubbed at Sani's face, hoping to make him feel a little better. He was entirely pleased that the odd man had left, after rambling to the girl about serial killers. Clearly he knew nothing of serial killers, that wasn't a sign of that sort of future behavior at all. Unfortunately, the departure of the man and his cooing was not enough to make Sani stop crying. He didn't quite know what could be done about the flowers, they hadn't left any mark save the emotional mark that Sani seemed unable to deal with. "Shhhhhh. It's okay. It's not so bad." He moved his hand down to point it at Amie's chest, "If you ever throw something else at my child, I promise you that you will feel much more than just a flower to the face." Sure, that threat made little sense and it was probably completely empty, but he was defending his seed and that meant something!

With that, he turned from her and walked away while cradling Sani against his chest. "Would you like some chocolate? Chocolate'll make it all better." He really didn't even care if Sani said no. He was damn well getting chocolate because he was already approaching the table and grabbing for his wallet. Chocolate did sound pretty good with the shitty day that he was having. "Could I get a small box of chocolates?" He grabbed up the chocolates, nodded to the woman and found a small bench to place Sani down on. After fiddling for the box for a few seconds, he crouched down in front of him and handed him a piece of chocolate. "There, that'll make it all go away!" He rubbed Sani's head gently before plopping down on the bench beside him and grabbing a piece of candy for himself. It was a nice day out, maybe they could stay awhile and enjoy the fresh air.

"It's a bit of a mix of both, but other than that, you pretty much hit the nail on the head." Alfred returned with a smile of his own. Oh, good. She didn’t freak out and run away. If that might have happened, then he would have been forced to tackle her down and shove cake down her throat. Kidding. He was kidding about that. As if he’d really do that. It was more likely that he would have just shrugged it off and offered free cake to people. Yes. He wasn’t some scaryass person who threw tantrums and forced people to suffocate on his pastries. Noooo. Not at all.

“Alfred, and likewise to you, Angela. At least, for the nice meeting you part. As for the cakes, well, who wouldn’t want free cake?” He chuckled out before continuing. “Since we’ve got our introductions out of the way, shall we start our little date? Is there anywhere that you’d like to go?”

.:l Beep l:.

Woah. Morgan didn't expect to be spammed so fast, but he could handle it. After all, he... regretfully dealt with stranger, such as giving piggyback rides to people he didn't even know and possibly being stripped of his clothes and being forced to streak around. "You kind of did, but that's fine. I'm Morgan, so that evens the odds with the introduction count." He returned with a sheepish grin. Tshila was rather talkative, but again, it was all good. She was nice and even reminded him of this one girl that he used to know that didn’t know how to swim. Maybe in some alternate world, he knew Tshila, but that was just silly.

With the flowers gifted to him, Morgan awkwardly grasped them, rather unsure of what to do with them. They were a little bit dead, but hey, like she mentioned, it was the thought that counted. Then again, what was he supposed to do with them? He’ll just have to hold onto them for the rest of the date. “Totally. Thanks for the flowers, Tshila. Now how about we get this date started? How does some grub sound? I’m starving, and don’t worry, I’m paying.”

.:l Beep l:.

Oh. Oh. This could work then. This could really work after all. Here, Snyder was expecting at least a little disgruntlement, but it turned out otherwise. This was rather nice to see that her date seemed really into it as well. Of course, she wasn’t all too sure about what to say about their date. She didn’t exactly plan anything out. Hey, she was expecting that she was going to ruin the day, not participate in it. Accepting the bouquet, Snyder smiled and shrugged a shoulder. “I was actually hoping that--” Her words cut off when a man barged into their conversation and attempted to whisk them away. No. Just no. For one thing, that was plain rude to do, and another was that Snyder didn’t take this s**t to begin with. Refusing to budge, she frowned before whipping out a can of pepper spray. “Excuse me, but I’ll have to ask you to leave my date and me alone. If not, I will spray this into your eyes and when you are down, I’ll have Lyla here step on you with her very cute heels.”

Javor was quite impressed by this man's height. He was quite far up there, wasn't he? Javor had to crane his slender neck almost painfully to look up at the hulking, muscular figure in front of him. As Javor took the bouquet that had been at him, a gentle breeze picked up the silky strands of red hair laying across Javor's forehead and shifted them slightly to the side, revealing his sparkling green eyes--eyes half lidded in an almost sleepy expression as he lifted the flowers to his face to inhale their fragrant aroma. The intoxicatingly sweet smell made his heart beat faster.

"Ah, this is a date?" he asked, nonplussed by the suggestion to have their date in the bushes. How aggressive.

Javor shrugged his shoulders as he reached up with one pale, fragile hand to unbutton his collar. The summer night was warm but the sudden breeze was so refreshing, and Javor felt he needed air due to being in the presence of this overwhelmingly masculine person. His delicate fingers strayed over the collar button, feeling the smooth mother of pearl, firm and satiny beneath his fingertips. He ran his hand over the edge of the black collar, before pushing it back a little, exposing the dip at the base of his throat. The black shirt, one of his favorites, was tailored just for him, accentuating his graceful, almost feminine frame which housed tight, lean muscles--so different from the man in front of him. The dark color highlighted the fairness of his skin, and his finely chiseled facial features, which were still handsome and refined in spite of the smattering of mottled freckles that danced across the bridge of his nose.

"If you would like to go to the bushes, I won't argue," Javor said. He took Xeiro's arm and started for the bushes in question. They were quite large, well manicured things with wide, glossy leaves that formed a thick canopy over the empty space around the trunk. Not really his first choice for a romantic evening (dates were supposed to be romantic, after all), but he'd also never gone on a date in a bush before. It surely would be an experience full of magnificent discoveries. The trick, of course, would be getting behind them before anyone noticed. "Oh yes..." Javor realized he was forgetting the most important part of a date (though he actually still hadn't remembered how he managed to end up on a date in the first place. "I am Dr. Javor Karel." He paused for a space, just long enough for his heart to thud three times in his surprisingly toned chest. "And who are you?"

"Same here. My siblings forced me out here as well, but we can consider this a good thing since we can just make everyone else miserable in return.” Anneliese smirked. She was definitely going to enjoy this. Here, she thought that she was going to have to fly solo, but hey, tag-teaming was absolutely delightful. Though, what exactly should they do. She mused over the stray ideas that crossed her mind. “Well, we can go for something simple like pantsing people or maybe flashing them, but that’s rather weak. I definitely want to wreak some havok and ruin everyone's dates, but I'm not sure what you have around here though. Raging elephants? Rabid squirrels? Well, there’s always my brother’s cakes. We can always throw them at people.” She shrugged as she glanced over to the cart of pastries that Alfred had worked so diligently on. Destroying all that hard work would be fun. Still, she shouldn’t be taking all the credit. This was a team after all. She looked back over at Lunesca. “Then again, do you have any suggestions?"

.:l Beep l:.

No! The other actually said thanks to him, and that wasn't any good at all because now he'd have to reply. He paused in his steps and immediately whipped around to try and flail out his response. Of course, he wasn't exactly sure how to say "You're welcome" in flailing, but he was doing his best here! Crap! He just needed to calm down. Frantically waving his arms about wasn’t solving the problem here. Deep breaths. Deep. ********. Breaths! After all, this wasn’t that bad. All he had to do was open his mouth, calmly return the gratitude, and then walk away. Okay. Nevermind. There was no way he could do that. He’d die from embarrassment. It was just too difficult. He might as well crawl under a rock and live there for eternity since since he couldn’t even talk to someone. This was horrible. His hands were getting all clammy. He was sweating bullets. His vision was starting to blacken around the edges. Most of all, he couldn’t breathe. Oh, wait. He wasn’t breathing in the first place. Ah, that would explain everything. Too bad he realized this a bit too late because Alec simply fainted and dropped like a fly.

Tate & Brody O'Ballivan &

The range of emotions that passed over father and son was comical - Brody looked panicked and then slightly confident; Tate looked frustrated and then just accepting of his day going sideways. Neither had expected to spend particularly long at the festival but it looked like that was no longer the plan. As Conor pushed John forward onto a couple of girls on their date. Brody made a face, there was absolutely zero chance he was ruining someone's date. Heck no. He'd go hang out with his Mom first. As Tate just shook his head and tried containing a laugh at Brody's face the man turned to Conor ready with a word or two. "It woulda been a good day for all four of us to do something. I like to think we've become friends Conor, but I don't know your boy any. Even if it was just playin' some cards or goin' for a trail ride woulda' been a good time. 'Cides that the boy looks mighty uncomfortable there." Making a gesture with his shoulder the man made his point - it was obvious the young man was uncomfortable. "That and if my boy wanted to be out witha' girl today he could have, he chose not to though because he thought it was a good guy's day. Be that as it is, I'm prouda' my son no matter what and wouldn't push him on some girl. The boy'll find his own way. If it's with a girl here on Nirvani or his longtime girl off the island. Brody's been happy and that's all I care about as his father." That all being said the man crossed his arms and realized it was possibly the most he may have ever said to the other man.

As Tate had spoken, Brody half listened and half watched what was happening with John. It was going rather badly, rather quickly. As one of the girls spoke rather angrily at him Brody walked away from his father and tapped one of the girls on the shoulder (Snyder). "A'scuse me ma'am, my friend got a bit confused here, I'll just grab him so you can go back to your date now." Tapping his fingers atop his head the boy semi-nodded and saluted, grabbed John's arm and walked away. "Are you kiddin' me man? Even wanting to make things even with your Da doesn't mean you cockblock on someone's date." Shaking his head he let go of the guy's arm and they walked back over to their fathers together. "Cuttin' in like that'll give 'ya a reputation and you won't get any tail that way. C'mon man you gotta have some skills!" As he finished they reached their fathers again. If today wasn't going a** backwards, Brody really didn't know what was going on.

"Well," Angela said, eyeing the cart for a moment, before looking back at Alfred. "It's going to be a bit difficult running all over the island with a cart of cake, which is probably going to melt in this heat anyway, so we have limited options I suppose. But first, I recommend we go to your place, or mine, pack the cake up properly and then perhaps just go out to the beach to enjoy cake and a sunset? Or something. Unless that sounds dreadfully boring in which case, I really don't know what to do but am open for suggestions? I suspect that whatever plans we make, cake should definitely be involved."

"Oh! Well the other possibility is that we leave the cake at your place or mine, go out and do something, then go back and go back to wherever we leave it, and have cake and wine to finish off the evening?"

Angela paused, realizing she didn't actually answer his question. She gave him a slightly embarrassed smile. "So in short, no, there's really nothing in particular I'd like to do so I'm good for just about anything."

"Oh, you don't have to pay!" Tshila said, relieved Morgan seemed to totally be unfazed by the rather long stream of chatter. It wasn't that she meant to ramble so but she couldn't really help it; once she got going, she just sort of had a really difficult time stopping herself until it reached the point she started to run out of breath and she realized she was still talking, which made her sort of pause and re-orientate herself but by that time, she'd usually already freaked the other person out. "I mean, it's kind of awkward paying for someone you just met, know what I mean? I mean, well, I guess it would be? I've never actually done it and this is kind of my first blind date so I just assume it would be weird so I'm totally okay with paying and oh! Yeah, I mean, what I meant to say is that food sounds good and, like, you shouldn't feel obligated to pay for me or anything like that because...um...yes?"

She stopped and took a deep breath, reminding herself to talk slower.

"Anyway, yeah, we should go because it's getting a bit crowded here anyway--oh! By the way, I totally love your hair! It looks great!"

June, at first, had really only half his attention on his date. His head leaned back and his eyes glazed over as he stared up into the sky. In all honesty, he had just asked it as a kind of courtesy. She had an accent, and she said she wanted to get to know each other. This was a quick and easy solution. So, it wasn't until the sick father part that his attention honed in on Umi. June turned his head to the blue haired woman and lazily followed each accented word. It was an... Interesting story. Not like anyone he had heard from in awhile. Though, he tried to stay away from damaged goods. He had a bad track record with people like that. "Glad things are going well for ya'," He said, deeming her a decent enough person to earn his sympathy. June didn't really get the whole parental love thing. Being a father didn't really help him much when it came to understanding other people. But hey, she seemed nice. He could spare a few words for her story. And of course, tell his story while he's at it. He leaned forward, placing his arms on his knees to support him, "Well..."

"I've been here since I was... ten?" He began, raking his memory for some kind of date he had come to this place. It had been so long... And his childhood so boring. Its a miracle he even stayed. Well, maybe a curse. "And right now I'm just freelancing," He added as his eyes were caught by a familiar figure in the midst of the event. "Well, I was a painter," June continued looking back to Umi, "I did my own works here and there but now I just kind of work when I get the time." He raised his finger to a woman sitting on a bench a bit away from them (Yuri). The blonde leaned closer to Umi, "Right now I'm mainly preoccupied with being the father of twins. And that woman is their mother."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Skyla stared blankly at the girl, It took a little bit of time and effort for her to accept that this was probably her date. Her response, while playful for most, was puzzling to the petite blond. After all, if she was just hoping she was right, how could Skyla be expected to believe that she was. Dolce would know... He would be able to spot her date from a gazillion miles away. Maybe he would even be her date. No, that would be boring. Dolce was always around. Meeting new people was fun? As long as they were awesome that is. Though, no one could top Dolce! Well, maybe Brooke could, but Dolce was a gentlemen! He was smart and funny and fluffy and never told her what to do. Someone would have to work pretty hard to try to be better then her best friend. But, Skyla was to nice to not give someone a chance. And a bit to slow in response to say no in anyway. By the time Skyla's mind drifted from her imaginary friend and back to reality, Penelope had been waiting for a reply. "Skyla," She introduced herself quickly, only giving her date a second of eye contact before her mind started to wander again. She concentrated enough to make a small guideline before hand though, "We should go somewhere super cool."

"Bully you?" Sethrian asked, raising an eyebrow. "You told me to leave and I did. You followed me so stop acting like a victim. If you don't like hearing the truth, you're welcome to walk away. I have absolutely no intention of punishing myself by following you." He leaned down, leveling an icy scowl at Chun Fei. "And I hate whiny children who don't know when to say thank you to someone taking a moment to try to help them out. If your evening is ruined, it's not my fault."

Sethrian stooped to pick up the fallen bouquet, which still looked decent, despite the scattered petals. He handed it back to Chun Fei. "You're acting like a child. If your date is anywhere nearby, he's probably ready to walk away without saying a word to you. Why don't you try acting like the adult you're clearly trying to pretend you are."

He should have just walked away at that point but he'd seen half a dozen of his cousins already go through this phase and it was practically instinct to argue some sense into them (or to at least try to). Of course, he was a little nicer to his cousins. A little. Sethrian actually loved kids and tended to be good with them--but that was until they reached the snotty teenaged years, at which point they became annoying and he became less polite.

And this girl was exhibiting all the signs of a spoiled teenager. She probably was shy a few dozen solid whacks on the bottom from her parents and now everyone was going to suffer for it. Pfft. Parents these days.

Izzy wasn’t having any luck. No matter how much she searched, there weren’t any signs of any orchids. Most of all, the chicks were all getting hooked up with everyone, and here she was with nobody. Ffffff. All her hard work was for nothing. Actually, it didn’t seem like it was all for nothing. Hey, it seemed like she was making a lady (Yuri) spazz over her gorgeous looks. Wait, no! Did that mean that she was going to kill them with her awesomeness? While that would have been amazing, she didn’t want to get charged for murder. Definitely not!

She immediately bolted towards the woman and grabbed onto her shoulders, trying to shake her in attempts to get her to snap out of it. “Hey! Are you okay!? Oh, gawd, you’re not dying are you? I never knew my looks were that deadly. Do you need CPR? The hospital? Getting laid with me?”

.:l Beep l:.

Amie was going to put this as politely as possible. <********> What the hell just happened? Sure, her aim might have been a bit off, but everyone was pinning the blame on her. It wasn’t entirely her fault! How dare they!? Her ears were practically bleeding from this freak’s yelling, and she got scolded by some batshit pervert. Not to mention, the stupid brat was still bawling his eyes out. No, Amie wasn’t going to resort to the level of a simpleton. She... needed to rewrite this experience for her life story. Amie had been a valiant woman who withstood the harsh trials of the three treacherous beasts. She had kept calm. She was as steady as a-- Screw that. That measly threat was the last straw, and it tipped her over. She was just bristling with rage at this point, and no amount of fairytales could hold her back.

She marched straight over to the punk and his apparent offspring. She was so glad that she was wearing heels because she was able to sport a few inches over the b*****d, and that would definitely help with her threat. Amie grabbed his collar to tug close and scowled. “Now listen here, you ********. I tried to stop that ***** from raping your damn kid, but excuse me if I missed. I could have just left your kid to be killed off, but I was trying to be helpful. I missed out on seeing my prince charming, get yelled out on every shitty detail, and most of all, I get threatened for all of this?”

Ah. She shouldn’t let this get too out of hand though.Amie made sure to let go, but she wasn’t going to let him off that easy. “But if you’re still so pissed, then go ahead. Do whatever you want. After all, you want revenge for your kid right?” And if he laid a hand on her, then that gave her a good excuse to bawl out all the tears and get him in trouble. More like, it made the perfect excuse to do some nice “self-defense.”

Umi was halfway through telling June about herself--which he asked her to do--when she kind of clued in that he wasn't listening. He was kind of not really looking at her and this was the second time he seemed to be tuning her out completely. She was actually prepared to stop and assure him he wasn't actually obligated to stay if she was boring him. Not that she was mad or anything because, really, blind dates always held the chance of matching one up with someone they found utterly boring so there was no reason to be angry about it. But she didn't see a reason for him to force himself to stay with someone he found dull or a reason to force herself to stay with someone who kept ignoring her.

But something she said finally seemed to catch his interest and he actually looked at her and seemed to listen to the rest of what she said.

He shared a bit about himself and Umi found herself really interested in the fact he was an artist. She wanted to ask about his work, to ask why he seemed to imply he wasn't painting as much lately. She wanted to just talk to another artist, even if their areas of interest were slightly different. But the conversation took a somewhat awkward turn when he confessed the reason for the apparent lull in his work was that he was busy raising twins and that a nearby woman, who seemed visibly upset, was their mother.

Umi didn't usually find herself at a loss for words. She was a very practical person and could handle most anything thrown at her but that was just such an awkward thing to bring up on a blind date. She found herself struggling to figure out how to react but she quickly put two and two together. He was probably recovering from that break up. In fact, the whole blind date thing was probably just him attempting to rebound and the fact that he had bothered to bring the woman up or point her out was, no doubt, due to the fact he wasn't over her. What a mess. Poor guy. It wasn't like she was mad or anything. He was probably just desperately trying to find his way after being dumped.

Umi smiled and patted his knee in a disturbingly maternal way. "I understand. It is awkward for you to be here then, isn't it? You shouldn't force yourself back into dating after a bad break up. You should give yourself your time to heal. Besides, there may be a way to work your relationship, no? Maybe you should go over and talk to her, huh?"

“Yes! They most certainly are monkshood!” Scarlet beamed as soon as she heard someone mention her flower. Oh, goodie! This man knew his stuff, but the real question was how well did he know it. Actually, it was more of a question of what his insides would look like if she got to perform a vivisection on him. With a small curtsy, she introduced herself with a peppy grin. “I’m Scarlet, and while this may be awkward and unsettling for you to have a child as your date, I’d like you to know that I do not think that you are ***** whatsoever as you didn’t offer me any candy, but even if you did, then I still won’t think that of you since my best friend told me not to judge people until they show that they’re really scum of the earth. And if that were to happen, then I’d gladly explore your insides most intimately with my scalpel. Oh! Also, these are for you, mister!” She merrily held up a flower for the man. Of course, the rest was for her, but she could spare one for him.

Mitsukai looked in the direction her date had pointed in. Well why not? The woman figured that way was just as good as any other. Mitsukai headed off in the direction that had been decided on. "Let's go!" she said aloud. Who knew what they would stumble upon, hopefully something fun! Still, she wondered if she should throw in a suggestion of her own. Kenneth had said that he was pretty new, so it wasn't like he was familiar with Nirvani's hot spots. What to do? What to do? Maybe they could go the bar and get a drink? No, that probably wasn't a very date-like thing to do and Mitsukai really didn't need to be drinking either. They could always go to the restaurant like he said but there had to be something better to do! Oh! Maybe they could just continue exploring outside. Nirvani had plenty to offer in the nature department. There were all kinds of things to do outside, there was a lake, a mine, a cave on the beach, some old ruins, and the river too! Oh yes! Exploring would be tons of fun! However, that probably wasn't the most date-like thing to do either. Why couldn't typical dates be more fun?

----------------

Before the woman on the ground (Yuri) had the chance to reply someone else had come up addressing Elizabeth, completely shifting the girl's attention. Now who was this and how did they know her name? Oh! It was the lady who was in charge of this whole thing (Zhi). "Lucky me? More like lucky him," Elizabeth corrected the woman. Of course her date would be special, she only deserved the best after all. She liked the woman who set this up already, if only she could be a matchmaker like this old middle aged lady! Just wait, one day it would happen. It just had to! Elizabeth would have loved to ask her a few questions but there simply wasn't enough time for that! She had to go meet her date and fast. She was a bit annoyed that he hadn't come to meet her, but if he was as special as the woman said he was maybe that would make up for it. The Sonata mansion, the woman had said. "That's that big fancy house, right?" she questioned her. If that was the case she'd be able to get to it just fine on her own. She certainly didn't need any help! She'd have to say something about them being in the stable though. Hanging out with a bunch of smelly horses was not her idea of a date at all. She deserved the best, and that's what she would get.

Hmm... where would be somewhere cool to hang out at? Well the girl she used to be would suggest something like going to a bar maybe getting a drink. Going to a concert? Maybe one that her brother's old band wasn't playing? But those kind of things weren't what she liked to do now. Or here. That was at her old home and that was who she used to be. Well going to see bands would still be pretty great but she didn't think there was anything like that here. Or none of the bands that she knew of said anything like they were going to come to Nirvani Island just to play a show or two. It was a shame really. She kinda missed the music scene back at home. Looking back at her date she didn't know where to suggest. Oh! What about that one place she saw the other day? No that wouldn't work. It wasn't something that people did on a date. "Umm how about we get something to eat first? Like just food or maybe something sweet? It'll be my treat."

Kenneth just nodded in response. Following after the girl when she started walking. Well while they were out he could take a mental note on where everything was. Just so he could know the next time he decided to explore the town. He started to walk past his sister now. Placing his hand on top of her head and messing up her hair a little before saying, "Have fun kiddo." Penelope would probably get after him later for it. But he really didn't care. There wasn't much she was going to say about it besides don't mess up my hair next time. Giving his attention back to his date he added, "So, what do you usually like doing around here?"

Xeiro was taken aback by the way the man seemed to transform in front of his eyes. Moments ago this man had been an average little short fellow. But, now. Now he was a majestic being that had grace like none other! He watched the man in awe as they walked closer to the place that their "date" would take place. He truly had no idea what was happening, and it made him feel a bit uncomfortable. He wasn't used to staring at another man's beauty, but this man was different. Everything about him was beautiful. From his dazzling skin, to his dancing freckles. Oh, he should be talking, shouldn't he? "Javor, that's a name you don't hear to often. But, then again, my name is Xeiro." He smiled at the man and tugged on the fragile and perfect arm and pulled him into the bushes with him a few feet from Lyra. He caught himself marveling at the beauty of the man, once again and had to pull his head away to look back at his daughter. Oh god. In the time that he had stared at that dazzlingly remarkable face, his daughter had attracted another customer. Wait! This one was a dashing young gentleman. It wasn't a ....girl.

He looked over to his newly recruited partner in crime. "Do you see that young girl there with the blue hair? That's my daughter. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help me watch her and make sure that she doesn't get into any trouble." He pulled his gaze back from the man before he could get too lost in the beauty and looked back to Lyra just in time to watch another young man show up. Oh, wonderful! It seemed that Lyra had just known this girl, their respective dates were right there. Wait. What was happening. They were leaving. No. No. No. No. NO! "You keep watch here, soldier. I have to go do something about this." He patted Javor on the back before stepping out of the bushes, it was uncomfortable to be crouched down anyway, and marched right over to where the young gentleman were. "Tate. Conor." He nodded to the older men, realizing that these young boys must be their offspring. "Excuse me, young men. I'm going to have to ask you to do me a ...oh what do you call it... a solid? Yes. Do me a solid, dog." Oh, he was soooo hip right now! How convenient that he had just watched some teenager movies. "Take my daughter and her little friend there on a date. I saw you talking to them. They need dates. You look like you need dates. So, go make dates." He patted the two men on the back and turned to return back to his post when he realized his cover had been blown. Lyra was staring right at him. "Javor!" He hissed towards the bushes, trying to be slightly inconspicuous. He took a few steps forward. "If there happens to be a Javor in the bushes for whatever reason that I would not know anything about. He should meet me over by the gift stand." With that he turned, smiled and waved at Lyra, and began walking towards the gifts.

Lyra was quite pleased with how this day was turning out, and it hadn't been very long! She was quite eager to hear what her date had planned to do when she saw John approaching them with a strange look on his face. Before she knew it, he was grabbing for her hand and Snyder was grabbing for the pepper spray. Oh gosh, what was happening? She was a little fascinated by the fact that John had grown up so fast on her, had it not been very long since she was just a child and he would come over to the cabin for play dates? "Don't be silly, John. Of course I remember you." Wait. Had he just threatened Snyder? Or was that a warning? What was happening?! "Hey! My name is Lyra!" Her date hadn't even known her name! Even John had gotten her name right! This fact had created a sense of urgency within her, like she needed to save John. Just when she was going to try to coax down the pepper spray from Snyder, another boy had shown up and was taking John away. She guessed that was better than the brawl that was sure to ensue without him being removed. "That was a bit odd, yeah?" She sighed and looked over to where John had been taken, but was quickly distracted by some rustling in the bushes behind her then the sight of her father.

"What the ********> She smacked her hand to her face before daring to peek up at what she knew she would see. Her father was talking to those two boys. "Maybe we should hurry and get out of here? You can tell me where we're going on the way. ********> She had been caught trying to get out of there. Her father was now staring right at her and waving at her with the same s**t-eating grin that she had plastered across her face. She waved back and watched as he began talking to the bush. There was someone in there with him?! What, was he training some elite spies in there?! She should've known better than coming to this thing with him. All she could do was silently smack her hand against her face again.

Lunesca was ecstatic, all the possibilities were endless! What would they do? That would be the hardest part of it all. Oh, what luck! She was actually going to have fun while Zeke looked like a *****. It was enough to make her laugh, but she had more important matters to focus on! "I haven't heard of any animals like that, but I am relatively new here. Cakes sounds like a wonderful plan! I have some fake knives on me to throw someone off if they messed with me, but maybe we could do something with that? Oh, and my brother there?" She pointed towards the buffoon in the top hat. "There's a rabbit in his hat." She shrugged, maybe they could knock the hat off of him and cause the rabbit to go crazy. She could definitely hit the hat off from here. She closed one eye and held out her thumb, yeah. She could hit it from here.
