Dinah 30/30
Explosions before there were supposed to be explosions were bad, especially when her wher was still outside fighting! Shards. Dinsk! Dinsk, stop fighting and get out of there! Run!
Right. Like Dinsk was actually going to listen to her. She shook her head and fled North, and hoped she didn't lose her wher.
Again.

Kesin 30/30
Uh-oh. That wasn't good! Kesin stopped and stared for a moment, but quickly shook herself out of it. Shards, at least it hadn't been one of her charges. Kesisk! Time to go, honey! Stop fighting and run for it! Lose them and meet us back at the dragons!
Time to get out of here! Seeing a couple of people going North, Kesin followed.

Kesisk 60/60 Run for the Hills!
Run? But...but she was fighting this stupid blue! But, well, what her Kesin wanted, her Kesin would get. Kesisk snarled and took a cursory swipe at her opponent before attempting to flee, telling her green companion, Run! To bigs!

Dinsk 35/35 Run for the Hills!
They were running? Running? No! While Dinsk could ignore ehr distant handler, however, she could not ignore a gold. She hissed her disapproval, but obeyed...after she picked up the dead flit she'd dropped. She wasn't leaving her prize behind!

Mokah 30 HP 9 bandages
Mokask 60 HP?
(Fleeing South: 2)
The premature explosion made Mokah jump...or was that from the shaking of the mines? Either way, it was time to go. Seeing some of her group heading for the north exit, she decided at least some of them should split up and headed for the South exit.
Unfortunately she didn't move fast enough, and a shout from behind her alerted her that a miner spotted her. She glanced back to see there was a small distance between them, but she had to hustle if she wanted to get far enough to escape them.

V'ell - Fleeing North
Crackdust! V'ell heard the explosion, and felt the ominous shaking under her feet. The mine was collapsing! Time to go!
She raced back to the fork in the tunnels, seeking D'ei, then grabbed the brownrider's hand and beckoned her northwards. "Come on, we have to go!" Already V'ell could hear rapidly approaching voices echoing down the passageway. Miners coming to investigate the explosion, no doubt.

D'ei - Fleeing North
D'ei swore again, legs slightly spread and knees bent to keep from tumbling over the (admittedly short) distance from the rumbling, rock breaking snap of the mine. She heard voices - loud, angry ones, and started off in the direction she lost saw V'ell. It said something gross and smushy when even in the horrible pit she felt a rush of warmth seeing her weyrmate looking for her as well.
Gross.
Hands locked and D'ei nodded with a mutter between clenched teeth. "Best be prepared to tackle some whers." She ran anyway, scrambling with the longer legged greenrider to escape their would be attackers.

Mokah: Fleeing South 30 HP 9 bandages
Mokask 60 HP?
Mokask growled at the sounds of pursuers behind them, glancing back once or twice.
"Easy, girl," Mokah muttered, hen to save breath she continued silently, Maybe fight later. Run now.
Mokask was eager to help, to fight, but she would listen. And she would be useful. As the pair rounded a bend they passed a small, harder to see side passage. The wher, her vision well adapted to the dim tunnels, caught sight of the opening and nudged Mokah towards it. The pair plunged into the tunnel, rounded a bend and paused to listen. It sounded as if their pursuers had passed on, for at least the moment. They'd bought some time at least, and continued on swiftly.

It was apparently a very good explanation, especially once they could hear whers fighting, and as the wherhandler started to walk off, he nodded, and began to follow. He had no intentions of staying long, and when the ground began to shake, and the wherhandler turned, he knew that this was the moment to act.
He wouldn't have much time, as the explosives had clearly been set off, and he would need to get out of there as quickly as he could.

The opportunity presented itself and E’lov struck, swift and lethal, killing the unlucky miner. He grunted, half turned and crumpled as the life left him but the sudden snap of their mental bond sent the Green howling through the night as she tore a circle in the dirt, eyes flashing red in rage and pain. She charged E’lov, a flash of green in the night as she leaped, powerful and sleek, at the rider.
As the main group fled, the charges began to go off one by one, in resounding blasts of sound and grit as the mountain around them began to keen with the shifting rock. Behind them, the tunnel gave way, permanently separating Mokah and Mokask from the rest of the group but also crushing several miners, leaving a small passage through the rubble a single man might crawl through. With the death of their comrades so fresh, the weary eyes had turned hard, seeking vengeance as adrenaline fueled their swift and powerful strides, pickaxes at the ready. The whers with them came bounding ahead, their progress impeded as the tunnel around them dropped rock and supports from above. A handful of miners had spotted Mokah and Mokask as well and with the Northern trunk collapsed, they raced after the golden pair.
Outside, as the orders to flee were passed to Dinsk and Kessisk, the fight was momentarily interrupted by Dinsk’s bounding away, heading for the shadows and dark. The blue handler wasn’t fast enough and the pickaxe he threw at the green lodged itself solidly in the post she’d just passed by, leaving him and his blue with the gold. He was sweating. The blue wasn’t, taking the opportunity to rake Kessisk along her side with his claws, too caught up in the fight to sense she was trying to make a break for it. When the handler realized this, he shouted loudly, throwing rocks at his blue – there were more important things to do right now. InstructionsE’lov: killing the Handler has triggered the green to come seek her vengeance on you. You can Flee for the Hills at any time and have stats and skills as stated prior. Mokah/Mokask: You are on your own and separated from the group with a handful of miners chasing after you. Dinsk: Has successfully fled. Kessisk: The blue has a grudge and hasn’t let her flee. Continue to fight. Everyone else: You’ve two whers and two miners on your heels but you’re making good progress! Keep running! Due to the collapsing mine and the debris falling, all characters inside the mines take 4 Damage.

First die: Mokah. Second die: Mokask.
Mokah: 26/30 HP 9 bandages
Mokask: 56/60 HP
More explosions rocked the mines and sent gusts of dusty, grit laden air through its passages and raining sharp rocks on everyone in them. They left Mokah stumbling and coughing for a bit, losing time that she would have rather spent running. Mokask was more steady on her feet, considering she had four feet with which to brace herself, but she was just as hurt by the falling rocks. Once the shaking started to subside, they stumbled onward but soon found themselves within sight of a group of miners again. They tried to run onward, though Mokask fell back slightly, half-thinking she could protect Hers from the bad people if she could just keep herself between them and Hers.

D'lek Fleeing North ----------------------
D’lek realized he’d made it further down the network of tunnels when a deep rumble and sudden shaking surrounded him. Something was going terribly, horribly wrong. He pressed on towards the Northern exit, glad he had taken the time to memorize the network that could lead him out. He left the charge hastily, he knew it was a terrible spot, but his mind was now focused on preservation. He made haste through the tunnels before more explosions made their presences known, suddenly showering debris form above. D’lek covered his head with his arms, sustaining minor lacerations-he would attend to those later-, but pressed on as quickly as he could away from the angry cries he heard behind him. Mine! What has happened? The camp is active and the explosions, they’ve gone off too soon! You are hurt, why are you hurt!? It was difficult to differentiate with the echos, but it seemed like he was putting his long legs to good work and was making headway towards the exit. Tennath, I’m fine. We may need you and the other dragons soon, things have not gone as planned. ---------------------- HP: 26/30 (12 bandages in possession)
Result: Far D'lek is a jack rabbit and getting the hell outta dodge.
