Still keeping Cypher plugged in and held up with his tentacles Smith made his way back to the cave. "How stupid of him to think he could run away from what is only an inevitability."
Upon returning to the cave Smith unplugged and quickly dropped Cypher to the ground. He was fed up with the pups constant attempts at running away, though this last plugging in should have solved that problem.

Dumped on the ground, it was a moment before the pup began to move. Slowly, he awoke, head lifting up and looking around the cave. Eyes soon falling upon Smith, the pup's ears flattened back. He, however, made no attempt to run. The fear that shone in his eyes now was that of respect, not the kind that showed in the eyes of prey before it ran away.

"Welcom back Mr. Reagan." Were the words that Smith spoke as Cypher awoke once more, the situation was similar, the outcome much different this time. This time there was no going back for Cypher, he was completely under Smith's power now.
"Now then, tell me what I want to know."

Cypher made no effort to correct Smith. Mr. Reagan was his name...one he tended to avoid now of course, but still his name. "I haven't met anyone that threatening...though John and Jane sometimes talked about someone they had met, named Bullseye... He seemed to worry them."

"Bullseye was it? Hmm...we'll have to meet him. And your former friends, this 'John' and 'Jane', was it? You'll have to introduce me to them as well. For now, I want you to go spy on them, so that we may find the perfect time to 'convince' them to join us." Now THIS was progress, Smith thought to himself. Things would be smooth sailing from here.

"Yes sir..." Getting to his paws, Cypher blinked up at Smith. "Can I take this off...?" He pawed at the chain a bit, to indicate that's what he meant. "It's not that handy for spy work..." Cypher thought hard for a moment, remembering how adament the agent had seemed in keeping him chained. "And I'll put it back on when I get back...I promise sir..."

Smith just nodded. He needn't say anymore.

Grateful, Cypher quickly slid the chain from around his neck. "I'll be back sir..." Turning, the pup ran off out of the cave, ready to do work for his new master, Agent Smith.

"Sir..." he said to himself. He snickered, Cypher was more whipped than perviously thought.
While the pup was out doing the grunt work Smith figured he would take this time to make himself at home here. He went out to gather fire wood and leaves for bedding and kindling.

By nightfall, the pup returned, dragging his bruised and beaten form through the waterfall to enter his new 'home'. Exhausted, but not content in resting until he reported back to Smith, Cypher looked around the cave for him.
Blood from several cuts on his body had stained the surrounding fur red, but despite that Cypher was still capable of doing his job.

Smith's body loomed in the shadows of the now roaring fire in the cave. "Well well...you made it back alive it seems. What do you have to report?" Obviously Smith couldn't care less if Cypher died, Cypher was easily replacible at this point, but he was proving quite useful.

Somewhat cold, Cypher moved closer to the fire to soak in the heat. "There's two other pups living in the land near John and Jane...though they're really small....like half my size." Pawing at his fur a moment, Cypher paused for a few brief moments before continuing. "And Bullseye isn't the type that likes to be spied on....he's got really good aim..."

"Interesting...it seems however we will have to deal with this 'Bullseye' face to face rather then getting information on him. I'll take care of him myself. John and Jane, those two, I will leave to you, I want you to bring them here while I am away talking to Bullseye, once done I'll return with Bullseye, alive or dead. This should get John and Jane's attention to join us either way." He had thought all this out in a matter of moments. Get the toughest one he could find and force him to join, or kill him, that would put the fear into all the rest.

"Yes sir..." Despite his exhaustion and pain, Cypher had to ask the next question. "Are we going now....or later?..." Cypher secretely hoped it was later. That way he could curl up by the fire and enjoy a nice night of rest before resuming his work for his new master.

Smith looked at the small pup, he was hurt badly, Smith would let him sleep tonight to rest, he'd need him to look presentable for John and Jane so that they wouldn't get any strange ideas. "Later...rest now. Then clean yourself up. If anyone were to see you like that they would suspect something."
