Freakshow, wearing a worried expression, lays down on hands and knees and crawls for the microphone. He was not entirely aware of his positioning, he could be near the ramp, the barricade, or the announce table. The latter was what happened to be true as he grasps the most important object of the match and uses the announce desk to try dragging himself back up to a vertical position, his legs wobbling like Elvis, his gait loose and uneven. While not necessarily speaking into the mic, his pained grunts and breaths were slightly more audible as the stunned Freak turned towards the ring, presumably to change the match to something a little more favorable.

Salem's nerves started to fire off one by one, gradually restoring the spark to the young rookie's step as he got up from his knees and to his feet. Freakshow, having taken it upon himself to retrieve the microphone that he'd earlier discarded, had moved to the edge of the announcers' table to attempt collecting himself. However, as Freak brought the microphone up to his lips, Salem would rush towards the ropes, each step showing renewed vigor and motivation. With an explosion of energy, Salem would leap forward while laying his body flat through the air, attempting to sail through the middle and top ropes to bring Freakshow down with a surprise crossbody splash to the outside.

The fans stomp and clap, urging on the beloved superstar as he comes charging right for the ropes, towards the hapless Freakshow. "Eh-" His eyes widen uneasily as Croft comes flying out through the ropes like a bullet. The young athlete smashes into the slick vet, the side of his body careening right into the blondes sternum. The impact is enough to send Freak tumbling onto the sturdy announce table, smacking against the top of it and rolling into the empty seats of the ring announcers who had gotten out of the way just in time. In a heap he lies, tangled in equipment and wires, slumped and almost upside down in both of the rolling seats.

Though the landing onto the lightly padded arena floor wasn't as comfortable as the ring canvas, prior, Salem's body was sturdy enough to hold up after the sensational maneuver that had left Freakshow disabled behind the announcers' table. A bit winded, but otherwise no worse for wear, Salem got up to his feet and grasped the nearby microphone that Freak had dropped before he was sent rolling over the booth. Stepping up onto the desk, Salem would look around at the fans for a moment before extending his foot, lightly kicking Freakshow out of the roller chairs and onto the arena floor. With a haggard grin, Salem held the microphone up to his lips.

"Falls Count Anywhere!" he shouted, tossing the microphone into the ring once again. Sitting on the desk, Salem cleared the wires and debris away from Freakshow while the official approached the pair, Salem dropping to his opponent's chest to try and go for a cover.

The crowd erupts into applause as Salem declares a Falls Count Anywhere match. It was time for some real action. "Aaagh.." Groaning Freakshow flops from out of the chairs with Croft assistance. He plops onto the concrete, unpadded area of the ringside and slowly begins pulling himself away from where he though Salem was. Unfortunately for him, the progress he made was far too little and he found himself pinned. The referee, who had exited the ring swarms around the announce table to make the count. "1..2.." Kickout! Freakshow manages to kick out after two, permitted a little more time to escape given the circumstances.

Fans leaned over the barricade behind the table to get a better view of Salem covering Freakshow, the rest of the crowd being forced to catch the action as it was displayed on the Titantron by a nearby cameraman. The referee had to crouch amid the electronic scrap that their scuffle had already created, but the inconvenience wouldn't prevent the man from doing his duty. "One...two...!" the official counted before Freakshow bucked one shoulder up, defiantly continuing the match despite his circumstances.

Salem was red with anger and adrenaline, and he huffed like a madman as the rookie got back up to his feet, reaching down to grasp for Freakshow's hair. Pulling him up by his golden locks, Salem would stare the veteran in the face with a scowl before bringing it down to the announcers' booth, rubbing Freakshow's cheek into the provided programming for the commentators.

"See that?!" Salem growled, glaring down at Freak as he grinded the man's face against the match card on the desk. "It's a 'SALEM Says' match...and Salem says you should've STAYED RETIRED!"

With a grunt, Salem would try to throw Freakshow back into the nearby barricade that fans were just earlier trying to hunch over top, looking to stomp forward with a short-distance clothesline should his Irish Whip be effective, potentially sending both men over the security wall and into the audience with his action.

"Ah..Ah.. Ah.." Freak cringes as Croft drags him up to his feet by the greasy hair. Putting his palms down on the table, he is piefaced down right onto the hard desk. His cheek squishing up to the surface, he struggles as if he were drowning, flailing as his face is rubbed into the papers. Salems words ringing into his ears, "Gah!" He grunts, trying to respond but unable to as he is grinded into the papers.

After a few moments of this he is lifted up, his hair matted and messy, part of his face rubbed raw. Before he can even start to do much in his own defense he is sent straight for the barricade, the metal ones, not the weird big blocky ones. He hits it hard, back first and hooks his arms around it, arching his back out in pain. Fans slap him on the back and shout words of discouragement.

Just as he begins to sag down onto the floor, Croft, relentless in his attack, comes charging straight for the unwitting Freakshow. The cactus clothesline hits right on target, sending Freak head over heels onto the other side. He lands unceremoniously on his a** before slumping over onto his shoulder. His hand moves towards the small of his back as he kicks his leg in pain.

There was no good way to clothesline someone over a barricade, but Salem tried his best to recover quickly to his feet, leaning against the security rail with a satisfied smile on his lips as he took a minute to catch his breath and admire his handiwork. Freakshow was writhing in agony at Salem's feet, a sight that brought a triumphant laugh from the rookie as he beat his chest with one hand, raising the other in a victorious pose, soaking in the admiration from the audience. Salem felt as though he'd finally found a moment of control in this match, but rather than continue his assault on Freakshow, he'd simply hoist Freak up to his feet by one arm, carrying him by the shoulder towards a pair of nearby empty seats. Casually shrugging Freak into one of the chairs, Salem sat in the seat next to his opponent and draped one arm around the battered bully's neck, giving him a friendly smile.

"So, how're you likin' the match so far, Freak?" Salem asked nonchalantly, as though the pair had come to watch it together. Reaching over to the fan next to him, Salem would take the patron's bag of popcorn and offer the woozy wretch some. "That Salem guy is really puttting the hammer down, ain't he? C'mon, say it one time...give it up for?" he asked, seeing if the dazed Freakshow would finish his signature quote in his foggy stupor.

Freakshow's unmoving body is easily carried to the nearby steel chair, his arms and legs dangling downward. He blinks his eyes open and looks down at the floor moving underneath him and braces himself to be dropped for something, a spinebuster maybe. Instead he is sat down, comfortably almost. He rocks to the left and right, with hardly enough energy to do so much as support his own head. Beads of sweat run down his head as he looks out towards the ring from his position in the audience, an arm wraps around his neck.

Salem mocks Freak, seated right next to him, a sight that was quite amusing to all watching but one. His attention, coming and going, shifts to the back of popcorn held up to him. Slurring he mumbles "Ssalem.." He blinks rapidly, trying to clear up his vision, "I'mma kill-.." His eyes widen and he leans over, hacking and coughing into the bag of popcorn before he can finish his already half constructed thought. The fans clap and cheer on Crofts increasingly creative methods of dealing damage to Freak.

"Good enough!" Salem said, ignoring Freak's threat and cutting his words off by suddenly springing out from the steel chair. The audience had been amused by the brief reprieve from the intense action, but Salem had no intentions of delaying what he planned to be his victory. Though he had become a bit fatigued, the rook still had some bounce left in his step, as he clenched the arm wrapped around Freak's neck into a headlock, attempting to burst out from the chair and drag Freakshow along by the head, hoping to drive his face into the concrete of the stadium floor with a running bulldog, right in front of the first row of fans.

The grip around Freaks neck clenches significantly. Salem stands up, taking his attention off of Freakshow and onto the area infront of them. As he's still sitting, he leans down a little, able to reach his feet from the position, specifically his boots. He grabs something from them, unseen by the camera's and Croft. Hooked around the head he is hauled by Salem forward a few feet, sent crashing right down with a running bulldog! He tries his best to protect his skull by the damage is done.

The crowd was divided with their reaction to the gruesome bulldog Salem administered to Freakshow on the cold, unforgiving cement of the fan area, some gasping while others cheered at the sight of Freakshow's head being driven face-first into the concrete. Regardless, everyone in the first few rows were on their feet to watch up-close as Salem shoved Freak over onto his back following the maneuver, leaning on his side to cover the man's chest while the referee approached, ready to make the count.

Freakshow lays flat on his face, his arms pinned down under him as if he were hiding something. Croft shoves the seemingly unconscious man over onto his back and gets ontop of his chest for the pin attempt, leaving his shoulders and arms free. There is a bit of a glint in the heap of bodies momentarily, "1...2...-" The pin is broken up, but not by a kickout. Freak, while Salem had been showboating, had managed to sneak a foreign weapon out of his boot, a fork. He gouges the weapon hard, aiming right above Crofts eyebrow. To some it was a familiar item, a weapon he had in the past assaulted former EWA Champion Joshua Danielson with.

Salem was feeling confident, perhaps overly confident as he laid atop Freak's chest, listening to the ref start the count for his potential pinfall. "One!" the official began. "Two!" he continued. But, that final word was not meant to be as Salem was momentarily blinded by a hand thrown up into his face by the conniving Freakshow, not realizing that he was armed with a metal utensil.

"Yeowch!" Salem howled, feeling the barbed points of the fork piercing flesh, just above his left eyelid. The stab had momentarily alarmed Salem, who flopped off of Freak in a pained mess, clutching his eye as the count was broken up. The bone of his ocular cavity had absorbed most of the impact, and the pronged ends of Freak's weapon-of-choice had drawn blood, which slowly started to build and trickle down Salem's cheek, like tears. Over a few seconds, the blood began to flow a little thicker as Salem laid on his side, struggling to sit back up while still clutching his left eye.

Yet another one of Freaks seemingly endless moves in his bag of dirty tricks succeeds. Freakshow turns over to his hands and knees, shoving himself right back up to an unsteady standing position. With his hand to the top of his head, the other clenching a fork, he starts staggering away from the threat. Shouting at, shoving, and threatening to stab any fan that got in the way of the stumbling, bumbling, knocked silly Freak. "Guh.. Damn.." He heaves as he blindly staggers towards what looks like the barricade, not quite sure what part of the arena he was about to wind up in.

The guard rail reaches him sooner than he expected. He going on fuems, he runs right into it, flipping right over it as soon as he bumps into it and tumbling over onto the steel grated ramp, dropping the fork right near the vehicle. Surprised, he uses the car to help himself up and find balance, not bothering to retrieve his weapon.
