The starter techs, bloodline/clan/demon techs, customs, and summoner skills do not count against your slots.

 So, I was just wondering if the inactive spot in the Uchiha Bloodline would be opened anytime soon? It's been almost a week (or more) since the first time I addressed this, and without a hiatus, it's pretty much taking up space that could be used by more active members. Now, if it's not, I wouldn't mind waiting a little longer. I do have a plan B. (It's not preferred over Plan A though. Thou shall not back down.) I did give another week or two at the least, so I wouldn't consider this "harassing" anyone. I just want to know why it hasn't been reopened.Anyways, thanks for your time!

Is it acceptable for pets to learn techniques, or have special skills such as a healing tongue, or something like that? The profile I just created has a pet, although he's not of the Inuzuka clan, I was just wondering how outside pets worked along the lines of learning anything or having small special abilities.

A member of the Inuzuka clan can have their pet have a special ability. All other pets would be for Rp story purposes and not for fighting.

Ah, well I understand all pets are RP based, but I thought it would be nice for Kaito's pet to have minor licking ability that can clean wounds, since later on her will be carrying a bag with Kaito's medical supplies. I don't know what you'd call it... "A Medic's Little Helper" or something? That's kind of what I wanted to do with the pet. He wouldn't be fighting or anything, but would offer his assistance during times when healing is needed outside of battle.

As long as this does nothing to actually heal the wound its fine. The effects, like I said, can only be story based.
