"No matter how much time passes You won't lose your special heart..."
Salome was woken up by Valor who came into the room she was sleeping in. It was early in the morning, and the sun had not even risen. She went down stairs to find that Tetsu was already awake and waiting for her. Salome let out a big yawn and rubbed her eyes, the sleep still lingering around her. "Wake up sleepy head, we've got some more work to do today. She tightened her Sora-headband around her right arm and sighed. "I hate you... She said in a rather lazy voice, drawing her sword. Tetsu pointed at the practice dummy, and Salome walked over to it. The straw dummy was built to look take a beating, and it looked fairly new. It had red dots on it, as if they were targets.
"Okay now we're going to work on your finer points of stabbing. If you noticed the red dots, you are going to work on your aim and make your strikes more efficient." He said hitting the dummy with his hand. Salome listened and understood what this was for. She began quickly stabbing the dummy as well as a few quick slashes and altered between the red dots that were placed in vital areas. She worked on making her slashes and stabs efficient for an hour before being stopped.
"I think that's enough and it seems you got the point. The slashes are small but efficient, allowing you to make more slashes and stabs. Very good. Now we move to a very fun technique. He said with a smile. He moved Salome to the side and stood in front of the dummy. He seemed a bit to far away, that even Salome noticed. Tetsu swung slashed his sword at the dummy, and to her surprise, he had it, when he wasn't even close enough. "I see, like the chakra scabbard, but you didn't use chakra. You swung the sword so hard and fast that the wind became a small extension." She said as she observed the technique.
She took his place now, and swung her sword as hard as she could. Nothing. The blade's extension was a nice and tricky technique, and it didn't require chakra. She concentrated and swung and slashed but still nothing. It was early in the morning but she was not ready to be frustrated so early. She thought and realized it was the angle in which the sword was swung. she tried again, but this time swing at more of a hundred degree angle. She was able to leave a cut on the dummy and a smile grew on his face. She did this so many times, before stopping. "Uncle, I got it, what's next?' She said shouting at him.
Tetsu got up and began to tie a rope across the room from one end to the other until it was completely straight. It hung about three feet above the ground and Tetsu jumped on it. He stood on the rope and sighed. "Now stand and walk on this rope without using your chakra." He said walking back and forth and then jumping off. Salome sheathed her sword.
Salome watched and was a bit amazed. She jumped on the rope, but lost her balance as she was leaning forward and backwards and finally fell, her face hitting the ground. "Ow..." She said grunting at the small amount of pain and embarrassment. Tetsu was of course laughing at her, but she quickly got back up and attempted again. She got back on the rope, holding her hands and arms out like a Trappist. She took a step forward, almost losing her balance. She did this for a couple of hours, walking across, back and forth. She mastered this quickly, due to her determination. She was indeed like her father. After a while of practicing and walking on a rope, she jumped off and sighed.
"Alright, very good. Lets do this next one then we can go eat breakfast. Lets work on your footing alright. He said standing in front of her and getting into a low stance, by bending his knees. "You see how I am? This stance makes it hard for you to be thrown or swept. Also with the thread walking practice, you should be able to maintain your balance fairly well." He explained. Salome nodded and got down in the same stance. Tetsu came charging in and pick her up and slammed her.
Grunting in pain she quickly got up and got ready again. He came in again and this time, she lowered her stance, making it hard for him to throw her. She was then pushed back, but kept her balance. This went on for another hour, as Tetsu tried to throw Salome. He was successful at times, and other times he wasn't. With Tetsu being stronger and more dominant, Salome figured she had to be more elusive to get away, and that she did.
"Alright you two, breakfast is served, but first go get cleaned up Salome. Then you Tetsu." Valor said stopping them. Salome nodded and walked up the stairs to get cleaned up. She took awhile thinking of what she had learned. Later all three would eat breakfast and continue training some more.
"That's right, don't hand over this piece And don't step back anymore."

"No matter how much time passes You won't lose your special heart..."
After breakfast, Tetsu and Salome quickly got back to training. Salome had asked for this after all, since her graduation from the academy, Tetsu and Valor have both been eager to train this girl. Whether it was because of promise they made to dying friend long ago, or not, they both cared for Salome. They wanted her to succeed and fulfill her dreams and ambitions.
"Alright now we move into the advance stages of the Instant of Steel. It's time to become a swordslinger, draw and sheathing your weapon at fast speeds, much like the Iaido from the Heart of steel. This shouldn't be to hard." He said in a serious, but somewhat, lazy tone. He demonstrated the technique multiple times as he stood talking, it was a bit distracting but Salome got the idea.
She figured it was perfection of the Iaido technique, or a variation. So it wasn't hard to grasp at all. She drew her weapon fast cutting the air with her sword. The swoosh sounds loud enough, it echoed into the kitchen. She then sheathed the sword quickly, and then drew it again quickly, slashing through the air. She did this several times, and even though it seemed like she was doing the Iaido technique, she knew she wasn't. Salome understood that the technique was much different and more offensive.
"Alright, that's good, I knew you would get it. Now then lets do another simple technique. After all it's two quick stabs that make this cool effect. Don't worry I won't stab you." Tetsu said with an evil grin. He drew his sword quickly and performed the Illusory Double technique. The stabs came quick, and they were precise. Salome's eyes grew wide as she was scared half to death at how close he came to stabbing her.
"You know, you're gonna pay for that." She said shooting him an evil, but playful look. "So now, I'm going to use you as dummy." She giggled slightly as Tetsu's eyes grew wide. "Wait just a-" He was cut off before he could finish. "She's right Tetsu darling. How else is she going to get better. After all, don't you trust her?" Valor's seductive and evil sounding voice came from the background as she sat down on one of the wooden boxes in the room. "And just like that, I might die..." He said at the mercy of the two women. "Just do it. i'll shake my head if it's no good." He said, swallowing the spit in his mouth.
Salome came in with the first stab, and stop immediately, but could stab a second time fast enough. Tetsu shook his head and Salome reset. She came in again, getting closer and closer to actually stabbing the man. This went on for about ten more minutes before Salome actually took things seriously. She came in one last time, stabbing, then stabbing again, cutting through Tetsu's left sleeve, cutting just the clothes and barely the skin. Tetsu's face was pale white and he fell back from almost passing out. "Well looks like you did it Sally. Good work." Valor said laughing at Tetsu who had passed out.
Tetsu stood up shortly after and sighed. "Alright, lets move on shall we... This is an improvement of the Calligraphy technique. These cuts need to be made deeper now, no longer will they just lacerate but they will cut through muscle and even into bone. Go to that dummy! He shouted pointing at one across the room. "And practice." His voice returning to it's normal tone. Salome giggled as she walked over the dummy. "Love you uncle Tetsu." She shouted as she held her sword and was ready to work on this.
She began to strike the dummy like how she did with the calligraphy technique. This time however, she found it a bit more difficult. She felt like her cuts were to slow, in addition it felt clunky. She went at it for a little longer, then it came to her. She was swinging the blade to wildly instead of letting it cut through the dummy. She loosened her grip and let the sword do the work, instead of arms. The cuts came fast and deep, as she slashed through the dummy. Eventually there was nothing left of the dummy.
"Alright Uncle what's next?" She shouted out, pointing at the destroyed training dummy. He sighed again and thought for a moment. " Take a break, we'll continue later. He said walking into the kitchen, pass Valor. Salome waited for him to leave before she spoke.
She walked over and sat next to Valor and sighed. "This is fun, but exhausting." She said looking at Valor. Valor just gave her a warm smile and then spoke. "Well dear, being a Shinobi is exhausting. So get use to it, because training is going to become second nature." Valor sounded like a philosopher for minute, but she was right. Salome looked at the ground and just smiled. "Yea, I guess your right. I just want to make my father proud of me." She with some sadness in her voice. A tear dropped down Valor's eye, as she wrapped her arms around Salome. "You will. I'm already proud of you so far Salome-chan." She said trying to comfort herself and not show any weakness. The two sat for awhile, waiting for Tetsu to return.

"No matter how much time passes You won't lose your special heart..."
Tetsu walked back into the room after coming back from the kitchen with a bottle of water. By then, Salome and Valor's moment was over as they were both just sitting there on the box. " Ready to begin again?" He asked Salome, before taking down a big gulp of water. Salome got up from her spot and just smiled. "Only if you are ready now."She said in a sweet voice. She walked out to the center of the room, and drew her sword, as Tetsu drew his as well.
Tetsu took in a deep breath and then let it out before he began to speak. " Alright this is the Hydra strike. An enhancement to the twin blade technique. Just with more attacks. Watch." Tetsu said as he began demonstrating the technique. It was simple to Salome as it was much like the Twin Blade technique. The only difference was that with each added strike, there was a wave of air that followed that cut as well. Salome stood in front of the dummy and began performing the twin blade technique just for the refresher. She swung her sword and the wind followed it, cutting the dummy as well. She started swinging faster and with multiple swings. The dummy was getting cut up fast, not only by the blade, but also by the wind.
" Good, I knew you would get it. That is the hydra strike for you." Tetsu said interrupting her training. "Next we'll move move on to partner techniques again. We are going to work on disarming II and a technique I like to call the advance of steel. He said touching her on the shoulder and bringing her to the middle of the room. They stood across from each other with their swords drawn. Salome came in with an overhead strike, assuming she was to attack first. Tetsu moved out of the way, and let the slash come down pass him. Before Salome could recover the sword, Tetsu pushed her sword down with his own blade and came up fast with his blade to her neck.
Salome was shocked at the sudden violence and how things had transpired like that. Once more, it seemed like death like could happen in seconds if she underestimated her opponents or swung in recklessly. "You okay?" Tetsu asked, seeing Salome's frozen in thought. She snapped back to reality, quickly and sighed. "Yea, well it's just... It seems we can't underestimate anyone, not even for a second." She said as the reset slowly. Tetsu nodded at the girls keen observational skills. "Yes, that is true. Life and death can happened in a few moves and a few seconds. Always remember that." He said coming in for an attack. Salome mimicked the move from earlier, moving the to side, smashing his blade down and nearly disarming him. She came in with her own counter attack.
They continued on like this until Tetsu decided to change it up. He moved in, in a very fast pace. His slashes and strikes were stronger and faster. It made it hard to block. They stopped just before Salome was backed into a wall by the vicious attack." And that was the Advance of Steel. It's a hard nose, all out attack. All speed and strength combined. It's hard to stop." Tetsu explained. "Now your turn, advance in steel. He said.
Salome attacked coming in at full speed. She swung her hardest, letting her sword od the cutting. She trusted that her uncle was skilled enough to protect himself. They went around in circles around the room. She advanced on and on, not letting up a bit. Tetsu blocked with ease, Salome's speed not up to par with us yet or his skill. He then met and clashed with her, to make her stop in her tracks. "Good, good. We're done here for now, go see the Sorakage. Get some missions, and hopefully a team. Tetsu said sheathing his sword and bowing.
Salome nodded and did the same. "I'll be back Aunti and Uncle. She said smiling and waving good bye. She walked out the door and headed for downtown.

Today was going to be a mentally taxing day for Kozi. There were a lot of things going on in the village, which she couldn't exactly shut out of her own mind. It was honestly giving her the worst headache she had developed in quite a long time. Without a method by which to shut it out, the mind sculptor would go insane. Instead of dealing with all of that she curled up under a tree and dipped into a black abyss of darkness that would envelop her. Everything was quite as she fell into an abyss of infinity. When she slowed to a stop there wasn't even a world around her. There was nothing. It took every bit of strength she had in order to simply stop that. Once she had done that she saw only a single platform in the distance. She swam towards it, effectively moving at sea turtle pace. When she finally made it, she climbed onto it and waddled over to the center. A bright light flashed and a world beyond her imagination was unlocked. It was the same world she had dreamed a long time ago. With a gasp she realized she had unlocked a new plane of her mental power. She walked forward and took a step onto out onto the darkness. The noise from outside dampened as she entered the floating gardens she dreamed to one day turn the ninja world into. [Invasion II learned]
Grand doors like the ones blocking entrance to the forbidden city opened to her and she saw a beautiful world, an oasis complete with water falls, levitating rocks, bansai trees and space almost made specifically for her to practice in. She walked to that space and her outfit melted away, leaving behind a jet black dress. She sat on the ground, staring up at the pitch black sky and wishing that their were stars there. "There are no stars in your brain... girl." She was back to her feet so fast that she was almost dizzy. She looked around but saw nothing in her world. Something itched at the back of her head, however. It Beckoned her to come to the edge of her floating island. It was impossible to resist. She made it there slowly and she reached outward with her foot as far as it would go in a single stride. A bridge connecting that island with another shot up from the abyss to meet her. On the other rock, a building came out of the dust. It was a small, Japanese shack. She walked to it but when she was halfway there the doors flew open, slamming into the sides of the wall. A man walked out and looked her in the eyes. It took a second, but she recognized him with haste. It was Kaisen! Kaisen had manifested in her mind, but he wasn't the voice she'd heard. She looked him over, but he wouldn't speak. He seemed to wanna say something. She focused on him, but she got nothing. Not even a whisper. It was like he wasn't real, but her mind had created this phantasm. With enough effort, she knew this was something she could do in the real world, albeit a lot weaker... Kaisen smiled and walked back to the building, which faded from view moments after he closed the doors. [Phantasm learned]
Kozi was fine and dandy with learning things like this but anyone who knew her knew she was destined for better things than that. As she made her way back to the center island a new bridge formed on the other side. She quickly made her way over to it and as she stepped onto it the scene changed and she was standing in front of a woman kneeling before her, begging for her to make her forget. She knew not what the woman was complaining about but the village street was empty one second, and then another was present the next. It was Kaisen again... and this time he motioned for her to put her hands on the woman's head. She did as he asked slowly, and enlightenment struck as she began to physically suck the thoughts clean out of her head. Within seconds, the woman couldn't even remember her own name. [Amnesia learned.]
As the scene faded she noticed that each island was a milestone in her mental capabilities. She fully intended to reach the max level of her power in one sitting, and so she continued onward. As she got back to the island she noticed something on the ground. It was a fading image, appearing as a sword to her. She reached down and tried to grab it but her hand simply phased through it. She tried again, but she was again foiled by it's intangibility. She looked up and saw him there again. She went to speak, but he hushed her as only he could and pointed. She looked down and saw it fading out of view yet again. She huffed and puffed and focused really hard and this time when she grabbed it, it stayed. She had learned to use mind over matter, literally. She looked at Kaisen, who seemed impressed. This was a change... he didn't leave immediately after she succeeded again... [Over Matter]
She was intent on figuring out what his purpose was, so she looked in his eyes and focused on only hearing his thoughts. It was like breaking through a wall... no it was tougher. His mind was strong, but he wasn't resisting. She pushed at it until she felt it give way to her will. She pounded that crack until she heard a barely audible whisper. Another shove and the wall went crumbling down and she heard his thoughts clearly. Before she could probe his brain, he faded away, clapping as he did so. She smiled, though frustrated as all balls, and sat down at the edge of the pool of water in the center. She waited for another island to float on into her view. She waited a while, so long that she got tired of waiting and leaned back to the ground. She got nothing from the abyss... but she did finally see a few specks of light in her mind. Whatever said she had no stars had been dead wrong... [Infiltrate learned.]
Xanatos wandered into the Training Grounds, hearing the sounds of multiple shinobi training and thinking about the same thing, all having the same thought in mind: to become stronger. Xanatos could hear them all and it was burning his brain, damaging his mind as he didn't have anyone to focus on for assistance. Saiyuri was his teacher, she helped him when his mind was taking a toll from 20 villagers within the downtown. Xanatos never left his home without Saiyuri to be by his side and control the flow of thoughts that went through, she was like a flood gate. But what happened if one day, she was not there to assist him in focusing said thoughts? He needed to gain a sense of independence. His mind needed to shut everyone out except for who he wanted to let into his mind, single out the sounds so that it was only his own. Xanatos clutched his head as he struggled to comprehend and control, as he struggled and focused his mental powers on his own individual thoughts, the voices began to fade. The thoughts about going to have ramen during a dire crisis of this current day and time, they vanished. The next were the determined go-getters, talking in their own head about how they'll be the Sorakage one day and how they won't let anyone stop them. Finally, there were the brooding emos that sat in the corner, listened to death metal, and brood because their families were killed by bandits. The genin reveled in the silence, basked in the quiet. He could only hear himself and only himself. [ Invasion II Learned ]
Xanatos wiped the sweat off of his forehead and walked over to the nearby tree stump. He set himself down on the stump and crossed his legs indian-style in order to calm his mind and body. He needed to his use his mind and imagine the creation of himself, a secondary version of himself. From his mind, a visual image of himself formed in the white void of his mind, a perfect replica of himself doing a thumbs up and grinning with satisfaction as he had learned how to do it so easily. Xanatos opened his eyes yet saw nothing but the other shinobi training, he looked down and noticed nothing more but a pile of mess and supposed brain fluid. It wasn't enough. Xanatos tried again and really FOCUSED this time, visualizing a mental image of himself and perfecting every detail of the Phantasm Replica. Xanatos opened his eyes and blinked twice as the replica formed itself in front of him. A Phantasm Replica worthy of being his ally in battle. [ Phantasm Learned ]
Xanatos noticed a group of shinobi genin being taught by an older Special Jounin of the Hidden Sky, he was teaching them how to run up trees and the water itself. A mischievous thought passed through as he watched the train and learn their techniques, gaining a bond and becoming a perfect team amongst each other. Xanatos was going to erase one of their memories and force them into hating the rest of their team, turning them into a Judas within the group. Xanatos crept towards one of the genin as they were finishing their training, sneaking up behind him and pressing his hand against his forehead aggressively. His hand turned a bright orange as the genin's mind was infiltrated and his memories were removed. The genin stood there with a surprised look, his eyes widened, and his mouth wide open in fear. Xanatos could see it all, the beginning of the team and how this genin was the weakest of the group. He saw the great trials and tribulations that the genin team went through in order to succeed as a group, sacrificing life and limb for each other. Finally, he could see his team waiting for him to continue training yet turned and noticed Xanatos, which ended the memory surge. When Xanatos released his hand from the genin's hand, he couldn't remember anything, his own name, who his teammates were, or who even Xanatos was. Xanatos walked away and left the genin to being confused and afraid of his teammates, running away, far away. [ Infiltration and Amnesia Learned ]
Xanatos moved back over to his stump and began breathing constant, his mental capacity expanding and the once loud and chatter-filled training grounds became the white void, his playground. A tapestry for his mind to create multiple images and forge them into the real world using sheer materialization and creation. Xanatos stood himself up within the blank void and walking aimlessly throughout, he bumped into invisible objects, but they were just genin, or special jounin, maybe a few jounin. He honestly didn't care. Xanatos enjoyed the silence and the echo of his own voice, while in reality, he was just sitting there and meditating. The young genin held out his hand and formed a set of twenty shuriken in front of him, these shuriken had the same composition of matter and molecule. Within reality, the shinobi would notice that the shuriken would phase in as they were created near instantaneously for throwing. The shuriken were the EXACT amount that he had created within the white void of his mind. They dropped to the ground though because he didn't launch them. Good. Its better that way. [ ...over matter Learned ]
The genin surrounded Xanatos as he was meditating, wondering was was up with him. They were curious and Xanatos didn't really shame them for such a thing, it was only natural. The genin began to plan, thinking about ambushing him for his ryo in order to get tons of ramen for themselves. Xanatos looked rich enough with his blonde hair and interesting set of clothing that looked as if it came from a different land. Xanatos was still meditating, not knowing about the planning that was taking place outside of his own mind. Within the depth of his mind, he began to pick up on multiple voices, but it was different from before, he could single the conspirators out from their thoughts. Within the white void, he removed the useless mental thoughts and kept the relevant ones within the void and listening closely. They were planning on robbing him? As if, they'd have to come in waves and drones before they could bring him down. His mental linking connected with those three genin and he spoke to them directly, the others were spared his ranting, "so...you wish to rob me, correct? I have nothing within my pockets of worth and attempting to steal from me would prove useless. You may try, but you will fail." They blocked him out, but blocking him out would prove to be a fatal mistake, or at least a mistake...he couldn't kill shinobi of his own village. He awakened and opened his eyes, being surrounded by multiple genin who charged in and tried to hold him down and rob him. His mind expanded and his will to have them kneel became absolute, the multiple genin fell to one knee and were pressed down by immense mental pressure. The pressure slowed them down and allow for Xanatos to knock them unconscious, that would teach them a lesson about trying to steal from innocents. [ Pressure and Invasion III Learned ]
In the real world, everything was now more bareable.

There just ain't heroes in this world.
Genin | Soragakure | Puppeteer | Sharingan | Reiji Uchiha A single genin stretched as he looked at the horizon from the celing of one of the abandoned buildings. "Been a while... hasn't it?" It has been three years since he last came here, back when he still had stupid delusions about being an 'ally of justice' or some similar bullshit, but he knew better nowadays... There is no such thing as heroes in the world, only better people. Well, it would be shitty to spend all day reminising of the past, so he had to focus on the present, and his present was to learn a Jutsu, more specifically, a jutsu he saw being used by a visiting chuunin that was teaching the class about elemental afinities a few months before graduation. He remembered he name.. Electron. But he figured that before learning it, getting his body to actually support any techniques was more important. Even if abandoned, the houses still had power cables running around and into them, even if they mostly didn't use electricity themselves. "The trick to whistanding is to disperse..." Reiji thought as he climbed his way up to one of the light poles. Even if it wasn't turned on at the moment, some wiring still had to keep the current flowing. Reaching the top of the pole, Reiji touched the plate that protected the wiring, reciving a small shock in the process... That meant he wouldn't need to take the thing off to test this and it would be relatively safer too. He aproached his hand once again, just enough so that his own eletric field could be in contact with the wire's own. He had been doing this with weaker aparatuses for months after learning his element, so it wasn't hard to 'feel' the eletricity. Now he had to do it, adapt his chakra to negate the energy's effect on him, send any electrical surge that was more that the body could handle into the air... Pulling and puhing the 'natural' energy. Once again, he touched and felt as his skin repelled the energy surge while allowing it to slide it's way around the ninja. He finally got it...
Jumping down, Reiji was pleased at his progress. It could use a bit more work, but his aura was becoming used to minimize eletrical surges... At least enough to prevent injury with some techniques. Looking around, another piece of nostalgia... The alley where he got the first fight in. Some younger kid was being bullied or something, he didn't remember... But he was sure it was one of the few times he actually had a reason to jump in. After getting a taste of it, his excuses became flimsier and flimsier, to the point where it was pretty much beat up the person with the least likable face because he or she was 'the bad guy' during arguments. Maybe training around here wasn't such a good idea, but what the hell. The Electron technique involved mostly in compressing the lightning chakra or natural electricity around into a stable sphere before launching it. As with most ninjutsu, it required the usage of a number of handseals to route the chakra through the body... But just the handseals were not enough. He remembered it, the Chuunin talking how this technique could be tought as making a paper ball... Make a small sphere in your mind and allow it to start atracting the chakra around it, rolling it as needed to even out it's destribution.
With each handseal, Reiji could see... FEEL the chakra building up in a sphere around him, all he needed was to materialize it once he was done with the last handseal. Lifting his right hand, he saw it, the chakra that he imagined form into the ball that could be used as his first offensive jutsu. The lightning in his hand lighted up his face as he looked around for a target... And there it was, a metalic trash can, knocked over and mostly empty, as noone created or collected any trash around these parts. There was old paper and rotten food in it, but just barely enough to ignite, so it was safe to throw it. Pulling back his arm a bit, the genin thrusted it foward towards the can, obseving as the Electron started to veer wildly, changing course and going back to it... Accuracy wasn't this technique forte, it seemed. Te sphere hit the edge of the can's openng, throwing it backwards and leaving a red mark where the electriicty heated up the metal. It wouldn't kill anyone, but it would hurt. Well, it was fun for most part, but Reiji had more to do on that day, he just wanted to kill some time learning a technique since there was some time before his 'client' arived in Sora. If he took the skyrail, the young shinobi could probably get there a few minutes early still. Grabing hold of one of the fabled wires, some chakra was sent through it and Reiji was pulled upwards, towards the downtown area. It was rather surprizing, really... How he had already gotten a job this early in his carreer, especially one like that.

He had found it while out on a run and decided to turn it into one of his personal training areas. The room was large and filled with exposed beams, dummies, weights, and everything a shinobi like him could desire. He decided to get right into it as he headed across the room and drug a large dummy into position. It was a simple enough style that had many uses and even brought forth the full power of the byuakugan against his enemies.Moving over to a cluster of dummies he began to arrange them so that he would be able to go from one to the next to the next. Taking a few steps back he quickly sprinted forward jumping up as he delivered a fierce dropkick to the dummy sending it skidding a few feet back though more or less unharmed. Moving quickly over to the dummy he placed his right leg behind the stick of the dummy and pushed with his shoulder shoving it to the ground quickly. Turning as it fell Nari slammed his palm in to the chest of the dummy causing a large puff of dust and straw to come sprouting from the dummy. He quickly pushed himself up before delivering one more powerful strike to the dummy, causing yet another puff of dust and straw. [learned, Pressure Palm ]
As Nari rose from the destroyed dummy he absently kicked its remains to the small but steadily growing pile a few feet away. Returning to his dummies he took a few steps back from one before taking a deep breath to slow his breathing as he began to prepare the next jutsu. Taking his form, he brought his hand up in front of him with the other held high in the iconic gentle fist style. Then, he was gone, reappearing below the dummy he quickly delivered a fierce uppercut kick sending the dummy flying upward. [learned, Leaf Spinning Wind ]
Nari spun on his hands as he quickly pushed himself up hard going up after the dummy he molded into its shadow following it exactly as the two drifted though the air he found it took more and more concentration to stay with the dummy as its weight was much more different than his own in this case. As the seconds drug on he became more affluent with the jutsu letting it become something he did not have to think about but something he could simply do. [learned, Shadow Dance ]
Using his new jutsu to turn himself around he quickly grabbed the "leg" of the dummy as he wrapped his legs around the dummies waist and locked them on the other side of the dummy. Taking a moment to angle himself correctly his weight added to the weight of the dummy made the impact spectacular. As its "head" hit first the whole thing cascaded into and explosion of straw and cloth and wood. The sound of Nari's laughter rang out thought the dojo as he stood brushing himself off, he clearly liked that particular jutsu. [learned, Shadow Dance ]
As he patted his shoulder to get the last of the dust off of himself he made his way over to a new dummy and placed it between himself and the far side of the room. Nariomi took a deep breath as he forced extra air into his lungs to steady his breathing after that last spurt left him breathing harder than normal. Taking his form he took one last deep breath before slamming his palm into the dummy. Now the effects of this surprised even him as the dummy went flying clear across the room before slamming into the wall. [learned, Crushing Fist ]
Sprinting off after the dummy he jumped up once more delivering a powerful flying kick to the dummy as he leaned to the side to plant his hands firmly he spun as he retracted his first leg leaving room clear for his right leg to strike the dummy just below where the first one did. Rolling backward onto his feet Nariomi squatted down low at the knees as he quickly raked his foot across the "feet" of the dummy causing them to loose grip upon the ground and sending the dummy to the ground quickly. [learned, Leaf Violent Whirlwind ]
This time however unlike the last time nari didnt get up as quick as his leg was starting to throb a bit, granted he had been though much worse and was entirely capable of shrugging it all off but it was still annoying. Brushing himself off he walked back over to his set of dummies as he took a few quick breaths to keep his heart rate up. Once he was ready he lunged forward quickly slamming his shoulder into one of the dummies causing it to skid back a bit before teetering back and fourth. [learned, Tackle Charge ]
As the dummy teetered Nari quickly placed his hands upon its shoulders as he pulled it down bringing his knee up quickly. As he did so his knee slammed into it sending it back up and backwards. When its base kept it from falling over he quickly grabbed its shoulders once more and repeated the process with his other knee. He quickly switched up his form just a bit leading with his left leg then with his right leg as each blow struck home he would switch back to the other leg. Satisfied with his form he took a few steps back to catch his breath. [learned, Knee Strike ]
Once he finally caught his breath he dashed forward to the side of the dummy sliding on his legs as he approached. He pushed out hard with his left leg to stop himself as he kicked out with his right kicking the legs out from under the dummy. Without wasting a second he brought his left knee up smashing it into the upper back of the dummy causing it to remain airborne and tilt back upright. Again not wasting any time he jumped up spinning to the left he as well, now airborne, slammed his right leg into the chest of the dummy sending it flying and Nari to the ground panting. [learned, Leaf Gale ]
Every muscle in Nari's body ached with pain as he slowly pushed himself upright. He had to keep going, he had to use the pain to push himself farther. He was the head of the Hyuuga. They would all look to him for leadership, guidance, and strength and he would be that pillar one way or another. He slammed his fist into the ground in rage as his chakra began to swirl around him and reinforce his muscles. He leaned forward and stood up slowly taking advantage of the new found stamina he kept training. [learned, Gate of Opening]
He quickly dashed forward sliding on his leg before kicking up into the dummy sending it skyward. Once again he rolled onto his hands and pushed up hard after the dummy. He quickly assimilated with its shadow as he had down in training readying a heavy combo. He slid his hand across the dummys back causing it to turn a bit as he brought his leg up in a roundhouse kick. Using the reverberation of the blow to spin himself counter to the dummy he backhanded its ribs as hard as he could. He smirked now on top of the dummy he punched down hard sending it down quickly. Keeping his momentum up he followed down with it with a small burst of chakra. As he reached the dummy he spun slamming his leg into its chest as the dummy hit the ground so did his foot hit dummy. The results were catastrophic, for the dummy at least. Its thin wood and straw chest exploded sending splinters flying and chunks of dust and straw everywhere. Using his left leg he kicked off of the dummy with a spin to land upright blood and adrenaline flowing. [learned, Lion Combo]
As he stood there he brushed himself off slowly as a small laugh escaped his lips. It was only now that he began to feel the rush fading and naturally not wanting it to go away he began to focus his chakra. In his head he envisioned a great dam. Every second he would send more chakra slamming into said dam putting more and more strain upon it. After a few moment of continual pressure on this proverbial dam it finally broke. When it did he felt a huge rush of energy coursing though his body. His weak and weary muscles gained new life, his aching bones ceased and his vision sharpened, all in all he felt amazing. [learned, Gate of Rest.]
Using his once again boosted body to its fullest extent he dashed across the room unleashing a fierce low kick to the dummy as he pushed off with his left foot delivering another kick, this time a bit higher, landing in the midsection of the body. He rolled back jumping up high this time delivering a roundhouse to the side of its head which sent it skidding to the side across the room. However before it could get more than a few inches he flipped forward slamming his foot into the dummy causing its head and upper portions of its chest to shatter once again sending dust, wood chips, and straw flying. [learned, Leaf Great Whirlwind]
However things didnt really go as planned after that last jutsu. Nari hit the ground hard as all the pain and agony returned in an instant. He groaned in pain as he pushed himself backward and up against one of the support beams. Every cell of his lower body screamed in agony and he had to heal it quickly. He focused his chakra into his hands as they began to glow a bright emerald green. He started first with his right hip and slowly worked his way down using the healing hands jutsu to repair the damage his intense training had caused. This process took much longer than he would have liked however he continued none the less. Over time the pain dulled and his body relaxed. He knew he would not train this hard again for some time, at least not with Taijutsu. [learnedbiggriniagnosis] (jutsu used. Healing Hands)
Nari decided that it was high time for a break as he sat upright and relaxed. Even though he was the clan head he had never actually tried to use the byakugan. Taking a deep breath he simply closed his eyes and forced his chakra to his head as he formed a quick seal with his hands. Before his eyes even snapped open he felt it activate and its effects were instantly made known. He could see everything around him well with the exception of a small cone starting at the back of his neck towards the tip of his spine. As he looked around he could see the people outside as they went about their business. [Activated, Byakugan]
Keeping his Byakugan active he smiled as he stood and made his way over to one of his dummies. He pulled a small marker from his belt and over the next few moments began to trace the chakra network of those that he saw walking past onto the dummy. Using his medical knowledge he began to draw the major arteries upon the dummy. Not to his surprise the two coincided in a great many places. He quickly jotted down all the locations where a vital organ met with a tenketsu before putting everything away into a small case which he tucked into his belt. He took up the gentle fist stance with a smile. The stance felt natural and now he would truly begin his growth as a Hyuuga. He lunged at the dummy quickly stabbing it twice collapsing two tenketsu, the four, eight, sixteen, thirty-two, sixty-four. As the barrage ended the dummy didnt look much worse off for wear however he knew that if it was a real person then it would have been doubled over in pain. [learned: Eight Divination Signs: Sixty Four Palm Strike]
Taking a moment to prepare himself he began work on the next jutsu, and once again he was really glad he was a medical ninja because this would hurt like hell. He took a deep breath as he began," Gate of opening,Kaimon. Release." As expected his adrenaline began to flow as the gate broke, "Kyūmon, gate of rest. Release." Now came the hard part as his muscles strained and his chakra flared he forced as much of it as he could to the small of his back to shatter the next gate. As he did so his skin began to change and his chakra roared around him. His veins bulged and his skin reddened as his blood flowed substantially faster as he neared its opening. He was so close to shattering it he could feel the proverbial damn about to break once more," Gate of Life (生門, Seimon) OPEN." His chakra exploded off of him in streams as he began to adjust to its power. [learned, Gate of Life]
He wasnt done yet, he had to keep pushing himself. Nari screamed across the building with insane speed as he kicked his dummy into the air. The blow alone sent it screaming upward as he continued to pound it. Reappearing on the other side of the dummy Nari slammed his fist into the dummy sending it screaming back down before he tightened his grip on his chains pulling it back up. He spun quickly slamming his heel into the dummy, the result.. was catastrophic. The dummy slammed through the floor and down into the ground floor below even denting the ground. [learned Reverse Lotus]
Nari landed amidst the destruction and dust, his face hard and fierce. This power was amazing but he needed more he had to push harder push farther. He relied upon these emotions of anger and lust for power even though he was not one that normally was concerned about such things. He once more went to the proverbial damn located within his spinal column to help force open the gate one last blast of chakra and the damn snapped yet again. His chakra exploded around him as he held his stance. [gate of pain]
He was almost there almost ready he just had to push harder just a little bit harder. The last gate he would learn for some time was located in the very center of his spine. The fifth gate the gate of limit. His chakra flared around him as light emerald streams of chakra poured from within him. He had to push just a little bit farther and he would be unstoppable as a genin. He would be able to protect those he loved, and serve his clan with honor. His voice rang through the hollow half destroyed building," THE FIFTH GATE, GATE OF LIMIT. OPEEN!!" His body began to glow bright green as it was coated in an aura of his chakra as the gate crashed open. Without moving and without a sound stood there in all his glory, a powerful shinobi. [learned, gate of limit.]
However before he could enjoy his moment to much he was hit hard by the stress of the gates and fell onto the ground once more. He pushed himself up against one of the standing pillars as his hands began to glow bright green once more beginning the process of healing the stress and wear of his body. He would have to improve as a medic before advancing any farther otherwise he would not be able to heal himself.
It was only now that he took a moment to check what time it was. Realizing that he would be late to meet up with his team he quickly packed up his gear and headed out. [exit to skyway entrance]
Today was Sho and Sun's big day , there first puppet was going to be ready soon, the finishing touches were being put so Sho decided it would be a good idea to learn the basics of jutsu and their element which was wind. "Isn't it great, were going to get our puppet today?!" Sun responded with a droopy "Why did we have to get up so early, I'm hungry!". "Come on, get positive, we've got some training to do!""Whatever.".
Shun had picked out several scrolls which contained instructions on how to go about using the techniques they were about to learn. The first was the very basic and I mean really basic, transformation technique. Opening the scroll sho read through the instructions rather quickly. "Okay, so let's find something to transform into, ah!" He spotted a loose large pipe about his size and studied it for a moment then formed a single hand sign. "Transformation jutsu!". Sho transformed into the tree stump looking exactly like the loose pipe. In a poof of smoke, Sho appeared back in his normal form.
[Learned Transformation]
Picking up the next scroll, he read through "Listen to this Sun, we're going to make a ball of light.". "Fantastic." said Shun in a less than enthusiastic manner. Channeling his chakra into his palm slowly pushing more chakra into hand. Ball of chakra appeared on the palm of Sho's hand. Soon the ball transformed from blue to a bright ball of light. Taking his hand away from the ball, Sho took a step back and noticed the ball was following him. To truly test how much the ball could project, sho stepped into an underpass where the shadows were dark. He noticed the almost the entire underpass was light up, close to thirty feet. Stepping back into the sun, sho left the light under the underpass noticing that when he got more than five feet from it, it dissipated. "Interesting!"Sho remarked, Sun on the other hand said "Not really.".
[Learned Chakra Light]
The other scroll had pictures as well as written instruction. The instruction read that this jutsu would allow Sho and Sun to adhere to walls, trees and water without falling off or falling through. The jutsu was difficult to master, sense it required good chakra control. The first step was to sense the chakra within themselves. Sho felt it surging throughout his entire body. The next step according to the instructions was to push some of that chakra equally to the bottom of both of his feet. Sho decided to do exactly that, pushing his chakra evenly or what he thought was even. Now he could run up the wall and stick it like if his feet were covered in glue. Running at the wall sho took his first three steps upside the wall, then fall flat on his a**. Rubbing his butt, Sun commented "See I told we should have stayed in bed longer.""We can't give up this easily, we're just getting started.". Taking a few steps back, Sho attempted to run up the wall this time after channeling his chakra to his feet. He took the third step on the wall and was standing sideways. Smiling Sho walked all the way up the building then back down again.
[Learned Tree/Wall/Water Walking ]
Hopping down, Sho was fired up for the next jutsu and it was something a bit more interesting, still very basic however. The technique was a Wind clone, not dazzling but useful in battle. The instructions showed the hand sign to make and how to focus the user's chakra in order to create a clone Studying the hand sign Sho and focused his chakra to create clone of himself. The clone seemed a bit weaker, Sho investigated the matter and sighted that the clone had 1/10 the strength of the user. The clone was slow, this was mainly a diversion kind of technique than any aid in battle. Due to their merge technique they didn't need to learn the shadow clone technique the, even though the merge technique is limited. Curious Sho touched clone and it burst it a stream of wind blowing against their clothes. "Cool."
[Learned Wind Clone]
The rest of the jutsu would be wind related which obviously their element. this was a bit more offensive, actually it was a lot more offensive. Reading the hand signs instruction, Sho practiced using the series of hand signs. Apparently this jutsu creates a kind of tornado blast. Focusing his chakra started to churn the wind around himself. Picking out a target down the railing that was empty, so nobody would get injured. Sho then released the blast at the point that was about twenty feet away. The blast erupted causing a violent tornado to swirl at the point Sho had channeled towards. The wind spread about only ten feet but the instructions said it could max out to fifteen.
[Learned Slashing Wind Skill ]
Panting slowly he started to notice his chakra being lowered. "Maybe we should take a break Sho" Sun said. Sho shook his head and they kept on going. The next one was interesting one to say the least, it was the Propelling Winds technique. Basically Sho had to channel his chakra to his hands then place them in the opposite direction he wanted to go. The problem was the lack of open space that it was in. Finally Sho picked a flight place or whatever the proper term was. Forming the hand sign he placed his hands behind himself. Exerting the chakra into his palms he shot out across an isle. Shooting back with the same jutsu, he returned back to the two remaining scrolls he had left.
[Learned Propelling Winds]
Picking up the second to last scroll, it was defensive wind based techinque. Reading through the instructions Sho understand kind of how it worked. He focused on area in front of himself, making sure he had five feet wide of clear space. Dispelling chakra in front of him in a circular like motion, Sho was having a trouble but kept on going then realized there wasn't someone to throw at him. [color=lightseagreen]"Sun, time to get up!" Sun said "Do I have to Sho?". Sho sighed and Sun eventually came out. Grabbing a kunai from Sho's pouch he stood the proper feet away. Throwing the kunai at Sho, Sho reflected the kunai with the focused wind , sending it with the same force back. Sun getting weak went back in sho, Sho could feel his chakra return.
[Learned Spinning Shield of Winds]
Weak from all the jutsu, Sho was even getting worn out but had one more scroll to learn, it was the toughest of all as Sho soon found out. IT was his first c-rank jutsu and useful one for puppet master or at least Sho thought. Reading the directions he couldn't believe it, they were going to ride air, levitate basically. Forming a ball of wind below his feet , swirling the air beneath his feet. He couldn't stand since balance wasn't perfect so he decided to sit. Hovering in the air, several feet he heightened himself he started to move in different directions practicing at a different speeds. Flying over roofs and walls, it was fun but draining. He began to lose chakra, he gently lowered himself down breathing heavily. That was enough, he had learned enough for awhile, it was time to rest for a bit and see if the puppet was ready yet.

This was it, or at least she assumed. The image she was given was of an empty part of the city, and this section was certainly derelict. Zeppelin couldnt help but get an uneasy feeling as she walked through the deserted streets. Was this really the best place for her to train? A normal ninja, sure, but she didn't run the risk of exploding anything she came into contact with. As the girl progressed deeper into the city, she found a bench where she'd decide to sit and wait for her teacher, if that's really what she was. With this kind of atmosphere, she was beginning to have her doubts.
____________________THE PAIN, THE HATRED, THE DESTRUCTION____________________
There was a silent beauty to this derelict part of the city. The wind was the only noise around; howling through vacant houses and broken windows. Every now and then the house would groan and creak with the breeze, mere echoes of what they use to shelter. Sometimes there were people here. Those were almost always ninja hard at work. Today was not one of those days. Saiya had chosen to forgo the sky rails in favor of walking through the barren streets. She knew these twists and turns like the back of her hand. She had been one of those kunoichi who had spent the majority of her time here. It did not take long for Saiyuri to find Zeppelin. Her consciousness would brush against the girl's softly; a greeting. "I am glad to see how eager you are. That always makes training and conditioning much easier. Please, tell me a bit about yourself. I would like to know enough to get an accurate picture as to how you wish to be trained." Saiyuri said as she turned the handle to one of the deserted buildings, using it as a short cut. She climbed the stairs one by one, feeling no need to rush. With a contact like this she would already be able to 'see' and 'hear; what Zeppelin would do and what she had to say.

Alice hopped from rooftop to rooftop, acting as the human equivalent of a squirrel. She was new to the whole "Shinobi" lifestyle, so she tripped a few times here and there. Stumbling was okay though, because in reality it was all a learning experience. And it wasn't like she was a completely inexperienced fighter. Alice's pre-ninja occupation required an intense amount of tact, refinement, and aptness. She used to be a professional boxer, where finesse was key. It wasn't the safest line of work, but it paid well. The girl wasn't quite sure what made her quit and opt out for the Military. More excitement perhaps? After quite a bit of wandering, Alice came across "the training grounds". She wasn't exactly in the mood for training, so instead, she sat down at the edge of a low building, to observe the new recruits. Things proceeded fairly smoothly, as the girl scanned the floor for something interesting. Her craving for something compelling would be satisfied, for a pale woman had caught her eye. Alice didn't really want to go down there just yet though. "Where will fate lead me?" Alice let that sink in for while. Her acting on whims had gotten her here in the first place, so really anything could happen now.
xxxxx Xanatos was floating around like a regular Mentok the Mind Taker, levitating off of the ground and humming a rather jaunty tune to himself. He noticed that things were happening in the City Training Grounds and decided that he would only truly be apart of it when he was noticed and taken account of. Xanatos began to run through facts and numbers in his head, a mechanism that he designed in case he was ever flooded by a newbie like himself. If for some reason his mind was infiltrated by the enemy, they would be presumably mind shanked with these facts, figures, and numbers of his design. These designs were made to put the mind in a constant loop, like a computer's counter measure.
How did she wish to be trained? The idea that there were different ways to train someone hadn't crossed her mind. She had always assumed there was just some set of guide lines that one followed for a certain area of expertise. But if her backstory really had that much affect on training, she might as well give her what little there was to tell. "Well...there's not much to say. I dont have a kekke genkai, I'm not a member of any clan..." Her words started off strong, but quickly grew into a low mumble, "I dont even have an element. I'm just normal..." Zeppelin sighed and kicked at the dirt a bit. What was the point? Sure, this woman had talked about having to work hard to get as strong as she was, but she was special. She could read minds! What could Zeppelin do? Just get in the way...

Kozi held her hand up to her head as she wandered into the training grounds. That mission... everything had changed with that mission and so fast. Now everything that she ever knew was turned on it's head. Waking up in a hospital bed with a whole new body was one thing... being unable to read minds was another... but watching a cut on her arm stitch itself together again was completely different. Those scrolls she found had turned her into something else. Something stronger yet at the same time weird and.. unnatural. She spent the whole week hurting herself, and then watching the wounds be restitched. Soon the tendrils bent to her will, and now the scorch release and it's elements wee squarely at the top of her list of things to learn to control.
So she arrived at the location with the lower half of her face covered but her arms, stitched like ragdolls, were open; the same went for her legs. Kozi clapped her arms together and sighed. She held an open hand out and then immediately after snapped her fingers. A cinder flew from her hands straight out before being snuffed by the wind. A very simple technique but a gateway technique nonetheless. (Cinder Technique)
With a set of handseals and a very deep breath, Kozi molded together her chakra and then exhaled deeply. At first there was nothing but a disappointing puff of smoke, but then suddenly that turned into multiple balls of flames firing from her mouth. As per the description of the technique she threw kunai into the balls of fire, making them much more deadly. (Mythical Fire Flower)
In keeping with the taste of fire coming from her mouth and the empowerment that came wit that, she did a set of seals that would be known to everyone as the Great Fireball attack. She opened her mouth and let loose a breath hotter than an she ever had before. A huge, dense ball of flames was let loose up into the air that flew just out of range of hurting anyone and then suddenly exploded with enough force to cause everyone on the grounds to feel like the bass had dropped. That test run had gone fine indeed, but she was moving on to more... dangerous things.
