Rep didn't move when he spotted both of them had followed him. He could have dragged them all over the island but it wouldn't achieve anything and he was already worn out from sparring. He just stayed put. When Al got near enough into earshot he stated blankly. "I'll understand if you don't want my help any more. I wouldn't."

"Why wouldn't I want your help?" Al asked as he flopped to sit at Rep's side. He looked more confused than ever, "You're my best friend man and you like... gave me my scarf and a room and a bed made of furs, you also showed me how to spar and get Nuru? Who... is cracking up for some reason and he won't tell me."

Jordan padded down to where Rep was sitting, glanced at Al, then, without saying a word, sat down on the other side of Rep; his hand moved in an automatic gesture, starting to reach for Rep's shoulder to reassure him with a touch, then dropped to his side as he remembered the extreme panic reaction that had sparked.

"I'm also..what you said." he hung his head in shame, not daring to look at Jordan as he joined him. "Jordan's my fiancée and so is Harrison. I have two. There are no wives." Saying out loud was more difficult than it had ever been. "If you can't deal with that, that's fine. I like, wouldn't be ******** friends with someone like that either. That's what I'm saying."
He gave Jordan a guilty look. "I'm. Sorry for that outburst back there I just." he gave Al a wistful look and a sigh. "I just wanted to be able to help someone out without them knowing. Without them judging me before they know me."

Al was stunned into silence. So he was definitely not being mind controlled and there was no way to deny it any more. Rep was not just gay, but two /husbands/ gay.
No Nuru. Not precious. Weird and strange and so not what Al was expecting. But at the same time. He had a lot of secrets himself. Some he was ashamed of as well...
"So. Then you are gay?"

Al immediately cowered, "Sorry sir!" He yelped scooting back to avoid any physical wrath. "Then what is it?"

Jordan kept his expression neutral and said nothing, carefully. There were issues, and there were issues, and this one was one that Rep did not take jokes about well.

Rep let Jordan touch his shoulder this time, finally having found a way to spin things that soothed his internal narrative, he was even content to lean into the touch. "Good. Then we are still mates I take it?" The hostility melted away startlingly fast replaced by that same smile Al'd received at first. "No harm done."

Al still looked bewildered as all hell, "I guess n-not." Except for Al's mental health which seemed to be failing. "I'm just upset I can't find any of the easy whores you said this place had." That and the mental image of those two... al's lips pressed into a paper thin line.
Was... was Al weeping a little?

Jordan looked at Rep again. Then he leaned over a little and said to Al, "I'd advise not repeating that one to any of the women if you do want to get laid. Everyone here has a weapon."

"And aye I guess don't call them it to their face or you won't get any fanny. Have to pretend you give a ******** about them and not just their hole. Tedious as ********. Most of them are sadistic too. Like Sasha, so even if you are nice they might still stick the knife in."
