"Children." Medea raised one hand, the smoke flaring a bit and then hissing, receding along with her tone almost dramatically. The Horsemen naturally created a formation from simple cues only: the Heirs invited closest to Medea, those with the highest Fears second, and then the Initiates, almost in an outer ring furthest away from the Head Priestess. It represented their system, like the very ideology they grasped. Fear was blessed for them all, but truly gifted in the leaders. "We have witness firsthand what these filthy Humans are capable of, from the way they use our powers, our Fear against us, to their recent harnessing of Joy. We have fought many battles, together, one voice and mind, as a clan, and have been defeated before, but from this defeat, have always sought growth. Our last voyage into that dark path left us defeated, both in mind and spirit, but we will prevail. I have found a way to overcome this Joy the Humans have created with a wonderful secret."
She looked at a moment to the Initiates. "All secrets in due time, for now, we will truly defile this Human monument and strike a blow of terror, true Fear into their fallible, mortal hearts. All I ask for in return is time, time before our plans bear fruition. All paths are revealed over time, and so we must wait, for the opportune moment to reveal our moment of triumph."
Medea finally revealed the odd box of flowers, pulling one out. The petals wilted, revealing a strange crystallized heart. "These are the key to our victory. Wear one proudly, on yourself, and it shall hide you from harm until the time is right. And when that time is indeed right, we will strike the greatest Fear, one that even Joy cannot overcome. Only then can we have enough Fear to fuel-" She paused for a second, instead, fondly gazing at something inside the fire. A strange object, a cup perhaps? It was glowing a strange green of its own, though the glow was weaker. The Head Priestess smiled again, fondly, "-All in time, as our paths will reveal the way forward. For now, remember to be strong, to wait for the signal, the moment when the concentration of Humans is the strongest. Indeed, there is a secret, but it's true power can only be used when all these Humans have gathered together and pooled together enough Fear for it to absorb. The moment, the exact moment, is greatly valued. Let us wait in place, together, until it is time."
And as the heart-like objects, pins, were handed out, the Head Priestess parted the flames once again as they curled and unfurled into a portal. A strange feeling exuded from the other side, the remnants of Joy. Despite the apprehension, she moved forward, unwavering.
OOC
ALL HORSEMEN AND INITIATES
- You will all need a secret disguise pin! As you put it on you once again will blend in with these Humans. The goal is to bide your time until Medea gives the signal, when the Humans are most concentrated together. For now, you will have to make sure not to well, get too angry, and spoil the plans. It is all about waiting. - If you have not posted yet you can still make an entrance and choose a pin!
gaia_crown[ STEP 1: CHOOSE A PIN ]
MAP IMAGE:
Red: Location Main Street
Blue: Location Fantasyland
Green: Location Adventureland
Orange: Location Critter Country
Purple: Location Mickey's Toon Town
Pink: Location Tomorrowland
- Your PIN COLOUR dictates where you are on the map. Choose a pin colour AND POST IT AND YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME IN OOC QUOTES. Make a means to leave via the portal. You cannot arrive on the other side until Zoobey has QUOTED your character and given you a prompt detailing what your pin colour represents/ and where specifically on the map you are. Use the prompt as leverage for the next step. - You DO NOT know what your disguise looks like until Zoobey has quoted you with further details.
gaia_crown[ STEP 2: CROWD CONTROL] - Once you have been quoted by Zoobey, you are now ready to move to the area. Move to the SPECIFIC area Zoobey has sent you. - You cannot make a move until the CROWD is ready at 100% Right now it is at 10%. As more people trickle in, the higher the % gets! At 100% the park is 100% full meaning THE POPULATION IS VERY DENSE. The more people there are the harder it is for your disguised horsemen to run around and cater to people (or initiates!) - Right now there is pretty much noone inside the park. It is not busy at all and your Horsemen is probably just idling there. - Controlling a crowd involves pleasing all the Humans within it! Sometimes Humans will come ask your character questions! When you are ready to rp in the area and recieve/ deal with a question, simply roll for any of the HUMAN REQUEST prompts below. Remember, DISGUISE IS KEY, don't break it now!
gaia_crown[ STEP 3: PROMPTS ]
- You can RP with any Horsemen in the general area ie: Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, etc (post your area in OOC quotes) - Once Zoobey has quoted you with your specific location/ details, and you have settled in the areal, you can now roll a 6-sided dice to deal with any of these prompts below while things are getting ready! Right now it is not as crowded so things aren't too crazy. You are NPCing/ writing in these prompts/ the Humans you encounter as well as any dialogue you see fit along with your character! Creative license is entirely up to you, just remember you can't attract too much attention, now is not the time for that..
Prompts: If you roll a 1
A couple of Humans approach you asking for directions to some strange place called the "Little Boy's Room". Respond accordingly!
If you roll a 2
A grubby Human scareling comes up to you and demands you hold their book and write in it. Respond accordingly!
If you roll a 3
A grubby Human scareling - or a whole army of them attempt to wrestle you to the ground. Respond accordingly!
If you roll a 4
A horribly sweaty Human keeps on holding a strange flat thing and telling you to smile. They then hug you a lot. Respond accordingly!
If you roll a 5
Several grubby Human scarelings suddenly start screaming at you and telling you you're not real. Respond accordingly!
If you roll a 6
Several grubby Human scarelings start smacking you really hard. Respond accordingly!
gaia_crown[SUMMARY OF WHAT TO DO ]: 1) Respond to the prompt 2) Choose a heart colour and wait for Zoobey to quote you by posting in ooc quotes your heart colour and npc name and in the rp that your character is now leaving for Disneyland yes, Disneyland, the place of all evil. They have not entered yet. Wait for Zoobey 3) After she has quoted you go ahead and head inside and start rping with the environment/ any other horsemen in your location 4) You can now also roll one of the PROMPTS listed (above) as many times as you like and rp out the reactions!

Mengyao could not say for certain whether or not he actually trusted the priestess Medea to the full extent of his abilities; certainly he did not feel the same sort of kinship and respect towards her that many of the other horsemen did, but regardless he listened quietly to her speak.
Inside of his head, the voices rose and fell, pressed against his mind, sank into his thoughts like a venom, like a poison, like something dark and black and tar-like. He tried to push them aside, make them quieter, but it was growing on him, steadily louder, steadily more frequent.
How much longer can I hold on like this?
He gave a small, frustrated sigh.
"Lan," said Mengyao, with a glance behind him. "Are you coming, or are you merely going to stand there and avoid confrontational situations while simultaneously using me as a barrier between you and whomever you wish to avoid?"
His hand reached out, however, and gave her wrist an appreciative squeeze in thanks, Mengyao not even looking as his eyes flickered across the crowd, searching for her, and he found her of course -
- but he couldn't go to her. Not now. She would be all right without him. Mengyao swallowed hard, and turned away, feeling his face heat as he stepped towards Medea, towards the portal.
Thera grinned, strutting her way to Medea's tent, eyes lit up with determination and pride. The head priestess needed her? Of course she needed her. Thera was the perfect candidate for helping. As were several of the fledglings.
Folding her wings back as Medea did what Medea does, the weapons master looked to Eris, Shaheen, Senga, Shikoba, and Iyari.
Yessss babies. Come to momma Thera. Grinning, she stood beside their little flock, silent. She carefully picked a red pin before finally addressing the war horsemen. "I hope you will bring back many trophies from your kills little birds."

It was starting to feel like the certain taller horseman was almost avoiding her, first going to the other side of Ying as the little one chirupped and chittered to her as they waited for whatever the Head Priestess had in store for them. When it was time for them to choose what they were doing, she watched as he went towards Lan, again, and offered to take her with him.
Puffing up a little, she looked to Ying, giving her a soft nudge, before smiling. "I am going to go towards the area that requires the blue pin, you are welcome to join, or you can follow your brother." She offered to the woman, giving her a serene nod and grabbing a pin, trying to catch up with the two nobles, feeling a little curious.
Senga had opened his mouth to respond to Shaheen's praise, but at that moment another voice cut in, smooth and steady and undeniably belonging to the one that had called them all here. He bobbed his head in mild acceptance of the woman's words; the destruction of Human Joy? Fun.
Turning his head back to the two War horsewomen he was with, Senga ruffled his wings slightly. "I imagine we will have more time for conversation later." It was said with a somewhat dry shrug; after all, when had War ever bothered much with spoken words? Giving the two a polite nod, Senga stalked over to the arrayed pins and snatched one without considering the color much. It wasn't worth interest to him what the particular palette was. He just wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible. On the way though, he caught sight of Thera, and tilted his head at her words. His lips pulled into a faint, wolfish grin.
"Always."
But then of course, there was the portal to go through, and the terrible prospect of interaction beyond.
Humans were not exactly his forte when he wasn't killing them, after all.
Sighing, he stepped towards the portal.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained, or something like that.

Manyara made a face at the offered pins. She had no desire to blend in with the filthy humans - she wanted to run roughshod over them, shrieking and biting and watching them fall before her as they were meant to. The very idea of hiding among them again made her skin crawl.
But the Head Priestess had ordered - and, in the absence of the Hive Queen, she had no choice but to obey, though she curled her lips away from her teeth in disdain as she approached.
She grabbed a green pin and slunk towards the portal, looking bitter and hungry.

Ying's head bobbed enthusiastically as Medea spoke, enthralled by her every word. Striking the humans in their stronghold! Yes! Ying was excited! She wanted to kill all the humans and strike FEAR into their very souls. She tried to picture what the human stronghold would be- somewhere red and white probably- with snow! She cringed internally at the idea of snow. Icky stuff.
"Lifen, do you think Sal-" she squeaked as she noticed the Famine boil, immediately averted her gaze. "Nevermind, nevermind!" she chirped, brushing her hands quickly through the air.
Medea finished, announcing they were getting ... pins of some kind? Ying only stared on with awe- these were the key to their victory! They were very precious indeed! "Miss Lifen it seems you already have some very lovely escorts, so I will not bother you further! It would be rude of me to impose. I shall go wherever Head Priestess Medea needs me most!" Secretly, she hoped she would receive a blue pin, but banished that desire quickly. It was for the good of the clan!
She grinned proudly to Medea, murmuring a quiet, somewhat embarrassed, "Thank you, Miss Medea", before waiting to accept her pin, and step through the portal.
[ purple pin, please! <3 ]

Kiwi instinctively rose and moved closer as Medea called them to attention. Perhaps this was just what he needed. A good FEAR run to show those humans their place. Who knows, it might even distract him from his troubles, for a moment at least.
He reached out and took one of the orange hearts.

[ KING ARTHUR'S CASTLE ]
Mengyao was completely an utterly horrified.
"What has she DONE."
Except he was too busy being crowded by miniature humans with sticky fingers and chattering voices and big eyes that his voice was drowned out among the rest and he couldn't even find Lifen anymore and -
"Where's the little boy's room?"
A long, drawn-out, slightly confused stare.
"The what."
The child was young, hardly reaching his knee (or where his knee would have been, were he not currently stuck in this ridiculous costume). Mengyao stared down at him as though willing him to leave, to get away, but -
"DONALLDDD!!!"
He wondered if he should just kill himself now.
"It's to the left beside where I last left my sanity."
A pause.
"MoOOoooOOOOOooMMMMMMM WHERE'S THE SANITY, I'VE GOTTA PEE!"

Mahir was listless, glassy-eyed, far from the hyperactive Famine he usually was. From the way that his eyes darted and his lips moved ever so slightly over razor-sharp teeth, it seemed as if he was not all there today. He swayed on his feet a little but failed to be moved much by Medea's enthusiasm. Her words seemed far less important than the whispering just on the edge of his hearing. It felt like the voices had increased in intensity - but really, in a moment of weakness, he'd begun to slip.
He blinked at a familiar purple that moved just out of sight. Was that-- but his attention was broken when someone pressed a blue pin into a waving, shadowy hand and shoved him toward the waiting portal.

Mahir: Blue Pin
Mahir is now extremely regal and... a heavy breather?. He's just chilling at King Arthur's Carousel Character: Darth Vader Position: Villain (Now owned by Disney) Level of kids yammering to meet him: Kids keep on running up with glowing objects trying to hit him for some reason. Occasionally someone will try to say random phrases at him like 'I AM YOUR FATHER'.
The worse part about following someone in disguise is when you both get your disguises, it was almost impossible to find them again if you didn't know what disguise they got.
Looking down at her own disguise, she found it was . . . simple, a little poofy and different from what she was used to - the fabric covering her more than it usually had, and in such bold differenciating colours! It felt very vintage, and a lot better than when she was wearing the fabrics that Medea had chosen for them the time before.
"Snow White, Snow White!"
Snow Who?
Turning up to look at who was talking, she suddenly realized that there were scarelings. Scarelings holding books. . . staring at them, she tried to figure out what they wanted.
"C-can I get your auto-graph?" She suddenly heard from one of the little scarelings - a girl - asked, thrusting the book towards her, eyes almost glittering. They wanted her name? No, they wanted the name that she was apparently being for them. Some kind of . . . Snow White. Turning down, she double checked the skin tone she held currently - it didn't seem that white, in comparison to her normal tone.
What an odd name.
Turning the book over, she figured 'appease the masses' and, went to sign the best she could; 白雪公主.

The sudden feel of an arm is enough to startle the Guardian into actually looking down at what it is that is touching him. On the inside he screams like a very small ghoul because look he's still kind of sleepy, but his composure is kept as he gives Nergui a blithe smile. A large hand reached up to pat the smaller one fastened around his arm, but it is quick to drop back by his side. "Does she do this often?" He inquired in a mildly conspiratorial voice, eyebrows drawn down in a light pout. Having one's dream interrupted was... Interesting at the best and he had not yet made a full analysis of his feelings on the matter. The priestess herself was absolutely fine, he adored how tiny and sweet looking she was. But her unannounced appearance in his dream? Eh, he wasn't sold. Conversation ends, however, as Medea raised a hand for their attention. Dutifully the Guardian squared his shoulders to listen, not really certain exactly what it was she was talking about. One day... One day he needed to be caught up on the going on's thus far, for it seemed an awful lot had happened. At least her instructions were easy!
As nonchalantly as possible, Thrain approached Medea, careful to keep himself composed. He did, however, paused before he reached her, to turn and give Shaheen an imitation of the smile she had given his, though he made sure to tack on an actual smirk at the end. Maybe she wouldn't hurt him too badly for that. In a most expectant way, the blonde Horseman took a blue pin, gave Nergui a smile and then ducked into the portal.

Look sly all you want, Iyari, Shik wasn't for willing shenanigans today. Well he normally never was, but a sleep-deprived one was moreso. It was like dealing with a sour cat. A tall, dagger wielding cat, down to the claw-like nails. "Your mother," he grumbled at Senga, though at least he didn't bat the shorter horseman away. Clan was Clan, no matter how annoyed he was.
Still, expecting any modicum of decency from the executioner was like waiting for rain in the desert: it was possible, but not entirely probably to occur.
So he stared at Shaheen right back and followed her movements with a wary gaze, almost bracing for a punch or rock tossed. Maybe she wasn't the only one getting paranoid? The Insanity fog pervading the grounds was doing his already sour humor no good. But at the same time, the action she enacted was almost . . . Oh hell, he wasn't going to think or say this feely bullshit right now. But he did at least mumble something under his breath at the mention of fire, his eyes lighting up.
Shik was a simple creature with simple wants: fire indeed was a good topic.
So he grabbed his badge without further complaint and brushed the gathered War Clansmen with his wings at different intervals, the best "hello" they'd be getting. Thera was a welcome face, though scowly Shik was still scowly. "Are we allowed this time? Can I kill a few ******** humans pretty ******** please?" he growled as he exited into the portal.
~ ~ ~
"Mrrrr, sounds busying." He scratched his chin in thought. "M'okay . . . Is Secretary on Student Council now, so hope can do things. Was working up on other special thing before it all." He couldn't generate the enthusiasm he would have normally about Scario Kart, and even the zomboil's smile fell flat. "B-Bet is wiping floor with dance, huh?"
Mort jumped almost a foot high when Aymet clasped his back, a fist raised to fight him off before realizing it was just a friend, not some . . . he didn't have a word for it. Enemy, maybe? The tense ball in his chest didn't go away as he lowered his hand and mumbled a greeting, barely catching Remi's in time. Already super self-conscious from his violent reaction to the dracolich, Mort only passed the kitsune a small nod, biting the inside of his cheek as Medea spoke.
In a way he still felt guilty being here without his ghoulfriend, even though he'd never wish for Belladonna to become an Initiate. That was what spurred his choice to grab the pink badge as he left where normally he would have gone for blue or green - just a little piece of her to bring along for whatever horror lay in wait.
