I'm going to assume that because it'd be a bit of a waste, (2 people..might as well PM the other) it's an inherent glitch(meaning there's no intention to fix it) in the system that ensures you aren't wasting money.

20 pages? It's a wonderful dream, but we're missing at least 9 people, some of whom I'm sure, are too involved with another RP to care. I wouldn't change it now, but if you don't get a response from at least another 5, drop the number. How long could a battle strategy last? I think it would be our best interest to at least add some variety for the people who do show up; say..every seven pages or so.

The DA meeting is 'adjurned', we all go to mysterious classes or go to work( A way to certainly improve our student's intellect and abilities, or just kill time in the library..or reading a newspaper. IDK.) Same page-next post, "1 week later" or so, we can incorporate what's new.

It's not a radical change, but just meeting can be a tad stifling if we don't have the whole group (or even more then 5) and they're still left sitting there hoping for that ghost user to post. I'll certainly leave that up to you, but it is sort of tiring waiting for Mayor at least; she's a pivotal character in the plotline at the moment. There's 5 people (3 if you don't count the one's you created) who've been waiting on her.

The adults directly involved can dismiss the students and continue the meeting elsewhere(how you want to handle it is up to you. PM the other two and plan some action[those dueling lessons?], or come up with some ideas for headlines. You can leave the creativity of what that headline actually involved to the rest of us if you'd like.), the vets all do..whatever ex-students do, and the students go to class.

We might see more of the their personality as they just walked in from a relaxing weekend, or depending on if the next meeting falls on a weekday, someone prepared to party. Those vets have jobs? Perhaps they'll come in uniform?

I'm sort of at a loss as to what to bring about. Who brings newspapers to a dueling club?! I'm not sure what I can add to your plot concerning that particular story and I'd hate to throw a monkey wrench in your plans.

I'm honestly not expecting Hermione to show. Unless some house elves or the like were suddenly deemed a suspicious threat (Like the American Muslim beaten after the Boston Race..provided you'd read up on it.),I'm not sure how she can be brought into the picture.

If Master does reply, I'll certainly try to make a good long post. We're missing 15 people I'm about to turn into mule characters.*So irritating! They're just..sitting there. Doing nothing.*

About the laptop; I'm not sure how to approach the issue. It's been five years, and the Wizarding world is just now learning/ or has been suspicious that there's more to the threat then what's been seen. Can Silver even use the laptop with an appropriate charm? Is it limited to just the typing programs/paint program/notepad? The internet is a bit of a stretch, but most electronics couldn't work in Hogwarts at the time of Harry's attendance. Is five years enough of a difference for your Wizarding world to reconsider the use of electronics in a schooling environment? That could open up a lot of possibilities for us if the laptop works. There could be tank headsets, walkie-talkies rather then mirrors (Appear more muggle certainly), FM/AM radios perhaps. Digital maps even, provided we can make a clear cut line on what can be brought in and functions, and what the wizarding world simply isn't ready for or doesn't think will improve their lives.

Part of me likes to think its due to sheer blind luck when it happened, yet a part of me likes to have the right for some self-respect for the group and say that its probably fate and destiny taking winks at me and the rest of us.

I'll try to befriend Mayor Twihard and go see what happens, regardless I am going to have to make a big enough announcement and pray that the results will keep us together until more serious steps can be done to unite us all!

We have a few Veterans, Theaken Thule actually qualifies, so does Meredith Pensworth although I'm not sure if either studied Dragonology as Grisby did, technically speaking even though he doesn't look like it, Louis also qualifies despite being mentally crude in social regards.
MasterAnime09 is to be noted on the news lists with what the Newspaper reports are gonna lampshade, you are also gonna need to know some of the meatier bits as quite frankly, there's reasons why Theaken would have said that Voldemort left behind a 'gift' according to rumors after Voldemort's demise.

Gonna need to find reasonable names for Headlines going on.

We got work to do needless to say and we didn't even get much done on announcements yet either, all I recalled is that its noted that Miss Grisby dressed up as a Playboy Bunny and it gave Hannah Longbottom cause for alarm even though Auror Longbottom isn't necessarily nuts over Grisby contrary to popular belief.

Twihard noted that Grisby was caught in the crossfire actually.

Just so you know I was reading a Sporking of the First Modern-day TMI novel in the City of Bones, not so much anything against the TMI novels or the True Fans so much as its just the bad eggs and evil seeds in the fanbase that do exist that trouble me, if anyone asks why I am doing that.

No offense meant for the True Fans as I noted, I find I have to clarify this with the Warhammer fanbase's factpile branch from time to time lest I forfeit what little sanity I have left.

PipeDreamno20 from Wikispaces did the sporking, you could find her on Anti-Shurtugal.com for the first chapter and if nothing else it might help us get clues for how to get best results for consequences' sakes.
Plus you gotta admit, even True TMI fans who also appreciate Madoka Magica might consider discussions of Isabelle Lightwood vs Mami Tomoe and some of it could spread In-group even on the project itself.

BVBarmy4life is a nominee and candidate to consider sending in an invite if anything, she needs the nominations but I'm not sure how we're gonna be able to get an epic-enough invitation to send to her or anyone else in the future yet.

Of course, even though its never clarified if we could upload the vids, it doesn't mean we can't afford to have beautiful music for the group! emo

Dobby is deceased as we know, I don't know if Winky herself is still around and I know Kreacher is obviously here to help take care of Ted in a truce with Ginny and the others whenever Harry's not available. (Busy due to all the fighting and all the paperwork and all the alliances to deal with, its like the guy can't catch a break even In-group!)
By Winky being around, I mean being available if she's not helping Hermione with orchestrating Battle Plans.

Speaking of House-Elves, no guarentee that it would happen but it wouldn't surprise me if some of the Potter-world Goblins got false accusations in place of the other Potter-world Goblins that are actually doing something wrong, poor communication kills even if the Shacklebolt Era British MoM's not doing any of the wrongs.
With the British MoM trying to repair their mangled reputations would you have blamed them for the concern?

You are not the only one with honest concerns although you may have to PM some of the missing people to let them know about what's going on.

As for the laptop thing, I am gonna clarify that Magi-tech is at work and I am not gonna make like a couple of nutcases and say Non-Grey Knight+/Thousand Sons Space Marines can easily tank Anti-Tech zones, we don't need that kind of bull around here unless someone means to say we need Tenchi Muyo-verse LightHawk Wings.
Which considering that with the latter its too early to discuss Power like that, yeah don't be surprised if we don't stumble upon such levels of Power for now.

A reasonable line could work, at the very least it could help test the limits of Magi-tech stuff to study and research and the War Research Budget in particular could be correctly managed and in place unlike with what happened during the Fudge Era, where vital resources got squandered off for the wrong exploits.

Gryffindor's headmistress, in light of the situation may have decided to extend that which is relatively harmless? No cellphones( Wireless messages may get lost among the wards, as would internet or FM/AM stations outside the wizarding world?), but I don't see how a wand can't be 'connected' to an electronic device.

One of those "Magi-tech" bits, perhaps, though a wand isn't like an IP. It does choose it's master however, so if a user could somehow connect his wand and his electronic device (radio, laptop, digital watch,etc); the only way to hack what's essentially the radio, laptop,..would be to kill the wand handler.

Perhaps your nominee doesn't desire a heroic character? DeVey is certainly straddling the line of good/evil, while your veterans and Grisby are clearly chaotic good/Lawful good. The DA teacher is on the outside..somewhere in the field..but even in Canon, there was the double agent. First Voldemort, then Snape, then Draco and his cronies. Depending on how BV plans to use the character, he/she/it could be part of the inner circle, in league with any one of enemies mentioned prior.

That's often why its acceptable to take the wands of enemy magic users if they have any wands on them at use.
Whoever says they're only good for Mobile Suit Gundam-like Funnel-esque weaponry doesn't have enough creativity to consider.

That's why that particular example is experimental at best, and test subjects might be needed and yet another hidden reason why Louis doesn't want to have a go at it alone despite having Goblin-Forged guts to help volunteer to be a Test subject if asked.
Louis has tendencies to make like Johnny Knoxville from time to time, especially obvious when it comes to Meredith Pensworth.

I know this fact, the other fact that a Power Vaccum has been alluded to and is being discussed is another matter that cannot be ignored and for all we know, Angelina Weasley was probably bamboozled outright and even struck with the Imperius Curse by now and George wants to help save her but can't exactly leave the family nor the kid they're supposed to babysit on their lonesome.

Did I forget to note that said Kid might have a Split Personality disorder not unlike the dot hack universe's Sakubo or BlazBlue's own Platinum the Trinity?

EDIT: Another book for you to edit. Have at it. You can inform all of us about the limited knowledge pertaining to Magi-Tech.

This is an impressive start, and before I get started on the process I'll let some of the noted examples within the project speak for themselves first before I figure out where to begin listing the recorded instances, as far as I'd recall if anything they'd seem likely to be when the instances were chronologically codified, rather than chronologically occuring for the first time ever so to speak if that makes sense.

True enough point on the Hogwarts Sorting Hat dusting itself out for now though.

All that's missing on the intro for the invites would be how to factor in links for the new Recruits thread, and then the project's main threads so far if that makes sense.

I'll get started ASAP.

P.S: Without more people in there, we can't hope for anything too royally major without more of the critical players in place, let alone do anything that's akin to a Darker and Edgier version of Cartoon Network's Fusionfall for the overall group's main storylines, or the CN Civil War that happened on factpile for that matter.

A basic paragraph on the goings on that you can do here? We have unused common rooms, an abandoned RP thing, some dormitories, a interactive library, and then some.
We don't have to list all of them, so long as we direct them to the Hogwarts subforum. It would work for other subforums as well, though I haven't hung out in any of the others so I've no real clue just what they have to offer. If there's a animal mascot of some sort, it could play the part of the Hogwart's sorting hat.

*speaking of all those rooms...can I spruce some up? I know it's not my guild, but most of those rooms haven't been posted in since 2011. We could use all those characters in DA in those rooms...once we have more then 2 students per house. sweatdrop Nothing huge, I swear. Just a little facelift, some additional information about who's in the house..some pretty pictures, even some Pottermore facts even. You don't like my work, you can scream and rant at me, then undo it all.*

Whatever you may feel is necessary when it comes to the common rooms, you are welcome to do, after all I forgot about Theaken Thule of the Hufflepuffs having a noteworthy invite back to the common room since he hasn't been there in years In-project actually.

Not to mention Louis needs to go lampshade how much has changed for all the years that's been happening since he was laying constructive research in there, plus witty conversations between a visitor and a newcomer who's gonna be a new resident, can you find what could go wrong with the picture? ^_^

That in mind, I suspect those who forgot about what the hells have been happening after Voldemort's demise might need to be filled in, how do we fill in the newcomers who didn't study the Potter-world beforehand so we can leave a spoiler tag at the OP and thus make it their call as whether or not to read it in-depth?

Awesome! I'll try to do you proud!

A very brief overview of how much activity has actually occurred might be best for the moment. Not in-world, but in real time. Some basic summary of where we are, what we're trying to attain for the moment, and where we need to be in 20 pages or less is a start. I've seen RP's that dry up because fewer and fewer people posted. Eventually, few cared and those that had been interested moved on.

I still need to break down how many users for this sub-world we have;
1)Actual users who are part of the guild
2)those whom are still active in gaia.
3)Those that have left the guild/ gaia.

After that, I can post a list of 'students' in their respective common rooms and work on an introduction to bring them back in the fold. I can't actually start anything until Wednesday, though I think.

*I'll go see if I can turn one of those abandoned threads into an adoptable OC thread. It looked like a good idea in that Puella Magi Guild.
Some kickass introduction about dragons and wizards, and evil lords hellbent on world domination perhaps, like a summary for a previous episode.

I'll work on collecting some stuff for common rooms and dorms in the meantime, but that'll take a bit of time. Student body first, decorations later. I should be able to hunt down some pictures in google though, so that won't take as much time as the student body.

1.) We have about 227+ users in-group, only 20 of them know about the Project as far as I recall, and Azaria Dragoness is stuck with College matters and isn't responding back as of late, I feared the worst must have happened and she has been comatose or slain or even worse than just either. emo
2.) We have Thinker Sis among us as you know, and MasterAnime09 is busy taking care of personal matters, Official Mary Black has a Pottermore account that I don't recall at the moment and will have to log back to the site to find but if its possible to send private messages back, I could let her know assuming she's still on Pottermore as she said her dad has a Computer.
She also admits that she has to readjust to the happenings of gaia online and the last I heard from her, she said she was going to get started on a tek tek of Lauren Greengrass.

That could work to help describe the project as a whole, but not on the events before said project if we want to try to sum up what happened in the Septimology and what particular ramifications are there to contend with, specifically the Power Vaccum that's noted earlier or at least being alluded to.
You may have a point if you suspect a Badass War Sequence breaking out before that might need to be in order, complete with a Captured and Potentially Brainwashed Lee Jordan unless you suspect Angelina Weasley might be a better suspect.
