((Well, unless I'm misinterpreting somehow the ramp is down so we can just drive the vehicles off...))

Nascen got rocked a little, but there was no big impact, and after it settled a second, he hopped into the driver's seat, buckling again, and pulling the jeep down the ramp and starting to drive off, giving only a polite nod to the flying woman as they departed.

"You said there was something on the beach, right? I guess we're checking that out first?"

The boat rocked forward, and Athan was one of the poor people near the railing.

"Shiiiiiiiit!"

His voice faded away as he went up and over the railing. A hand luckily grasped onto a small hole used for mooring the ship to the docks. He hung there precariously by one hand, swinging slightly. He found himself staring at the ground. It was about fifteen feet down to the beachside.

Athan craned his neck upwards, looking at the edge of the ship's deck. He stretched his free arm upwards, attempting to pull himself up.

No luck. His fingers slipped and he fell from the boat, flailing all the way down.

Luckily he was able to grab a few banners to slow his descent, which also happened to direct some of his momentum northwards towards the beach. The banners ended, and grace became somewhat of an issue as he landed face first on the beach.

Mod Squad
OOC: Yep. The ramp is down.

"Mind if I join you?" Flare asked. "I was heading in that direction anyway."

It was getting considerably boring being by herself. And she had been heading to the beach for the gods knew what reason...or maybe they didn't. She sure as hell didn't.

His partner fell down next to him, face first. Oooh, that's gonna hurt tomorow...
"Heya Athan, glad you could make it." He offered a hand to the laying figure.
He had to admit though, it was pretty funny.
"Finnaly got here, if that spirit isn't around here anymore, I think I'm gonna die."

"Feel free. I'm not sure what to expect at the beach, so the extra help could be useful."

This was towards Flare, obviously. And as for the god thing...

"And I'm still willing to help with the Owle problem. I have a habit of getting into situations anyways, so I see no need to stop getting involved now."

"Thank you," Flare said gratefully. "And if I could tell you anything more to do than just be willing to help, I would...but I know nothing of what's attacking her, or even why or how they might come at her."

If there were an open space in the car, she settled herself into it. If not, she sat on the trunk and prepared to hold on.

Athan moved his hand up without bothering to look up. After allowing Kit to help him up to his feet, Athan dusted the sand from his clothes and face.

"Ugh, stupid boats. Alright, where did you last see that spirit? That'd be the best bet."

"Probably around here right now, at least we'll hear his annoying laughter if we can't find him..."
Kit took the pause as an oppurtunity to clean his bloodstained dagger with the salt water at the beach. Gods, this has to be one of the most exciting, most fun days since that time he was in Carter City... Plus, he didn't die yet! (And you'd think he would after all of this.)

((The beach, away!)

"Personally, I like Miss Isihos, and I'm not fond of seeing anybody die; I plan to lend her a hand in the future, given the chance. Heck, my job is risking my neck, so all the better I do it for something I can really belive in, 'ight?" he said, as he pulled it down the the bottom of the ramp and took a look around. "I can tell you I've heard she's coming out better off if it's the angels let out though; that's what I heard, at least. 'Course, that probably goes for all of us..." he said, pulling them off toward the beach as soon as the flying woman had settled.

"I see..." Flare said. This was news to her. "And how is it that we make the angels come out?"

Geylkre rocketed through the docks faster than Irzael could handle so the bird slowed. "I think we should go northeast from here."

The bird began ascending higher into the air and then streamlined its body for speed. Irzael held one hand to his mouth as the roc blew towards the boardwalk.

The Chauffeur rolled his car onto a ferry that was preparing to depart. A boat whistle later and it was off.

Minutes later the ferry docked on the boardwalk of Gambino. Charles, who had waited in his car this time (to take care of any other vomiters), drove off the ferry and carefully made his way through the boardwalk.
