"I'm pretty sure we have some excellent leverage against Mark," said Gale casually, and then got set to lift the table as well, though it was likely his arms probably wouldn't reach as far as everyone else's considering a lack of certain vertical-ness.

A large shape blotted out the window.
"SUPER HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL SURPRISE!" Shouted the same shape, still blotting out the window before standing on top of the table. "I was on the training fields when I saw you through the window, as you cried to me, 'Help me Allan-taichou!' and here I am! Are you here to embrace your kokoro and remember the power of inner strength and friendship?"
He sparkled a bit, striking a pose on the table.

It was his birthday, and Ami hadn't even called him. A little mopey on the inside, but with full brim confidence beaming off Lex, the Life hunter snuck back to the council room, figuring she and the other Life hunters he hadn't seen that morning would be there. Trust Hunters to never leave a mystery alone.
Lex grabbed a part of the table, nodding to everyone else.

"Come now!" Says Allan encouragingly, finally getting off the table to put his hand on Mimsy's shoulder. "We must work together as nakama! There is no i in nakama!"
Allan is standing at the door, making it impossible to leave.

Ami was prepared to just leave. There was a division leader here, she could get in trouble.
And yet ... it was Allan.
"Yes Allan. We're trying to lift this table and examine the legs." Hadn't she already explained this. "Are you here to help? Use your uh ... surprise high school whatever?"
A glance actually went to Solia this time. Ami figured the death trainee was the only one who spoke his language.

"Hmmm...." The Sun lead mused, entirely unaware that this area was actually the council room and barred off, since he usually wasn't you know, informed of that sort of stuff, "Allan-taichou is always here to help you, but you must remember to fight yourself as nakama! Use your kokoro and believe in your inner spirit!"
He began to sing the opening song of the dubbed One Piece instead. As encouragement.

Allan was so touched by his own singing and watching the Hunters channel their chakra through the table to become one with the table, that he shed a single tear, wrapping Mimsy tightly into a manly embrace of manly feels.

And Locke was singing along to One Piece in Ryan's head.
Ryan really wanted to leave now.
If he could just make it through this day without another headache and a bit of his sanity, he'd be happy. Too bad Allan and Locke seemed bent on destroying whatever sanity he had left and causing him the biggest headache ever.
:Locke, I swear to God, if you don't shut up, I will toss you into the Marcus' room with Dis and leave you there for a week!:
At that threat, Locke immediately silenced himself and Ryan just felt a just a tad guilty over his threat.
...
But his relief was greater than his guilt. Sorry Locke.

It was a good thing that Allan picked that moment to stop Mimsy, as she had just decided to walk right out the door, and another door, and off the island entirely. With this prevented, she reached to move his hand from her shoulder, forcing back a wall of irritated grumbling. Instead of no touching, she found herself the recipient of all the touching. Somewhere within the depths of the hug came a muffled ' noooooo'. She managed to free most of her arm and awkwardly pat him on the back, hoping that it might expedite this whole process.
