Gregory wasn't bored yet. He probably wouldn't get bored. What he was, though, was a bit anxious. He looked around for a moment and then stood absolutely still, focusing his mind. He felt the breeze move him... a natural, unconjured wind.
Perfect... Teph Kelaph Tryad Ultrad Sin Peliph Alnad Gokia Gregory's eyes began to roll back into his head at the effort. Going beyond eight runes was well within his ability, but it certainly wasn't easy. Med Porteph Likteph Yorka Gregory touched his hand to his chest and the air swirled about him for a second, kicking up rocks and a bit of dust before settling down.
There we go.
He picked another direction at random and began once again to jog, only this time he was actually moving faster than most people could sprint. An observer would see him appear to be taking incredibly long strides as he moved, almost as if an unseen force were pushing his entire body forward with each movement.
Destination: [D]Shopping District.

Jin came in from the northeast; his intention was to make for the roof of a long building that ran for half a block down the side of one of the streets. The glider he rode was coming down slowly, and everything seemed to be just peachy. He reached up with both hands to pull the #4 and #6 strings, and the gilder dove down quickly to bring the rooftop that much closer.
He released these a moment later and reached out to the #1 and #9 strings; at the same time sliding off of the bar that supported his weight and pulling down; the glider bending down on either end as he hung from the two handles like it was a parachute.
Anyone inside of the bar below would hear the patter as he caught the ground running; slowing himself eventually as he brought the 'wing' to the ground behind him, then set about folding it into the compact bundle that he then slung over his shoulder.
"Perfect aim," Jin said to himself as he climbed down a fire escape on the side of the building, "...I was just thinking that I could use a drink."

Jin entered the bar, a bundle of dry ironwood and canvas slung over his left shoulder. It certainly seemed like a lively place, and more than that, a fun one. There was a walrus at the bar, and an egg on the floor.
'They should be careful-' Jin thought as his bluegreen eye glanced towards the two, 'that walrus could crush him.'
Jin proceeded towards the bar, leaning the glider beside him against the bar. With his right hand he waved to the bartender, asking for a bottle of whatever the local specialty was.

"I never asked for your opinion."
Jin took the third glass and downed whatever the hell the 'antidote' was... for no reason other than to clear up a glass. He then took the long island iced tea and poured half of it into the third glass, followed by pouring half of the first drink into the second glass.
"I just wanted to know what passes for liqour around here."
He downed the glass, leaving the two half-full cups upon the counter. From his tunic he produced a single copper coin and dropped it into the empty glass. "That's for two drinks and one attitude."
Taking his burden over his shoulder again, Jin headed towards the exit of the bar.
'Pity... the walrus looked like a nice guy.'

The man just bit the coin. "Your funeral."
...
"Murderer!"
The walrus screamed at Jin as he passed. "You ate my best friend's cousin. You louse. You scoundral."
" You.....Oyster!"
That was apparently all the egg needed to hear. It rolled forward and in a moment the bow was strung and an arrow with an egg tip was flying at Jin. Once it connected with anything, shrapnel type bits would go flying everywhere, cutting anything in it's path like so much paper.

"You figment," Jin replied, leaning into a sidestep as the drunken egg fired off his bow. There is not a weapon in the world that is so clearly obvious as a bow, and with a drunken oblong archer standing less than a dozen feet away, those stubby white egg-fingers left little to the imagination as far as timing was concerned.
"Go back to whatever head imagined you."

And as for the man that the two assaulted, he leaned his burden against the table beside him as his right hand slipped underneath his tunic to the holster beneath it. In a flash he drew out his most powerful weapon... a flute?
"Silly figments, and whoever dreamed you up."
Jin put the flute to his lips, pressing his fingers to the flute so that it emitted a single, piercing shriek as the man blew through it, eye closed. The floor around him and in front of the tank-sized walrus simply exploded after a second of experiencing that shriek, and as Jin disappeared into the cloud of debris, the walrus would find itself thrown onto its back, no doubt with the egg beneath it.
The single note wavered slightly, becoming a low, slow melody as the debris settled and Jin was nowhere to be seen.

Whatever might have happened, Jin was gone.
Likely headed towards one of the other districts.

And high in the western sky, a demonic winged figure flew, carrying a very squirmy, very afraid little man.

And now he continues eastward, little more than a dot in the sky. Where is he going, only he knows.

Coll galloped through the area, nearly silently due to the rags tied around his hooves. The centaur passed a demolished building, staring in awe at how effectively humans could unmake things. But this wasn't the time for gawking. He had to make an escape.
