Kujo froze in place as he rounded a corner, there was an elite hunter right in front of him riding on a metang. (That's the name of the pokemon right? Too lazy for bulbapedia search right now.) Nick wasn't recognized by Kujo and he quickly ducked his head in a sort of bow of respect for a higher-up. He blabbered the first words that popped into his head, "Oh, um I'monasecretmissionmyname'sLeesir!Directordersfromuhtheboss!"

Hi Nick! We got your segment of the prophecy wrong and we need to tell you that outfit looks terrible on you, you'd look better in a tunic and tabard. That's all the rage in Atlantis I hear. Capes are also good no matter what the century. The unown said with a cheerful bit of very outdated fashion advice. Kujo's brain processing hit a brick wall because it was Nick and because of the fashion advice.

They didn't know about recent developments.

Nancy sniffed. "You're right, it's not worth the tears but I wonder... Maybe some other time." Shawn was giving Lucina the trademark Magikarp stare now instead of Claves for some reason as Emerson held up a handkerchief. "I think I need some time alone. Wanna exchange contact info? I'm probably going to be around in the area and if you ever need to find a good store in Fuschia or help doing research call me up. I'm not actually a detective but I've been taking a lot of forensics classes."

A lower level Gamma hunter was sneaking about on the rooftops. Dr. Tenebrae wanted to know just why a Magikarp was important to track so he'd assigned someone to tail Nancy and the pokemon.

" Hey you!! Come on the others found a secret entrance to Team Gamma's underground-" Apollo was cut off by Kamina hitting him. " What was that for!!?" He shouted.
" Don't go parading it around you idiot!!" She replied. " Just come with us."
Lucina laughed and said, " Alright. See you Nancy!! You guys too." She looked at Emerson and Shawn. Then she went with Apollo and Kamina.

Apollo and the girls walked up to the rest of the crew and they entered the hideout together.
" Wait." Tatsuno said. " This place could be crawling with goons."
" Tatsuno we can take 'em." Apollo said looking at Zane, Iris and Kamina.
" I think it's best that we disguise ourselves as them." Zane said.
So the kids found a closet with extra Team Gamma uniforms. As the kids walked they past the guy that gave Kyurem that little candy. Another man was talking and he sounded kind of nervous. Apollo tried his hardest not to be tempted to listen to what the Candy guy had to say.

" So who are you?" Kenji asked the boy in the room across from his.
" My name's Neku Sakuraba. Me and her used to be in Team Gamma together as part of the elite team." The boy said pointing at the little girl in his cell.
Kenji had the most confused face ever. " You mean that girl was-" Kenji couldn't even form the thought in his head.
" Yep she was apart of Team Gamma's elite team."
Kenji shook his head. Team Gamma is truly evil. Using kids for their dirty work. Kenji didn't approve of this. " So how long have you been in here?" Kenji asked Neku.
" Maybe a month. They threw us in here because we wanted to quit the team." Neku said.
" Wow. What lame-butts they really deserve to get brought down." Kenji said.
" I agree. One day I will bring them down." Neku said.
" You know you can't do it alone right." Kenji told him.
" Perhaps you're right. But I must do something." Neku replied.
Kenji was silent after that. He wondered how long he'd be in here. He hoped not too long or else he might have to join Team Gamma.

There wasn't much the Unown could do against the dark/ghost type's power since they were low on PP and psychics. Their distress seemed to be broadcast as Kujo wasn't the only one who could sense their alarm at the attack. The caged creatures in the research lab sensed it and made an awful lot of noise. A guy who had just started his lunch dropped his sandwich and looked around the break room in alarm for no particular reason but that died quickly as the spiritomb's dark power dampened the psychics signal.

"Um, I was here to, uh, tell people to let Arceus into their lives? I don't know what you're talking about." Kujo lied in desperation as his limbs went painfully numb. This was not something he'd expected and the Unown apologized

We should have read his thoughts before the spiritomb was out! If he's undercover he is really dedicated to his acting! It's freezing in here!

Why hadn't he left Sypha out of the pokeball?

The hunter was running faster now but the bonemerang did a good job. His head made a neat arc as his feet flew sideways and he hit the ground in a roll. The goon looked up to see Nancy and Emerson running towards him. The wannabe detective had pulled Thrsday out and ordered her to use spiderweb. "How good are you with interrogation techniques?" The goon groaned when he heard that. The boss was going to be furious if he leaked info and Dr. Tenebrae was called a mad scientist for a reason so he stubbornly stated.

"I'm not talking." Nancy raised an eyebrow and drew out a notebook.

"You do realize I work for a mad scientist. Nothing you can do is scarier than what he could do to me." the guy said with weary resignation.

Nancy kept scribbling stuff down as she talked. "Go ahead Claves. He's not going anywhere and the sooner he talks the sooner we can join the party."

She wrote, We can't actually hurt him. It's a rotten to do and illegal so... any ideas besides scaring him with direct threats?

Needles. Oh dear why did it have to be needles. Kujo's heart rate skyrocketed and he was too paralyzed with fear to scream as he felt the needle. The tense muscles made it worse.

Well, there was the truth left to try. "Um, you mean he didn't tell you? You're brothers! You tell each other these things and not some crazy guy prophesying about the end of the world!" Kujo remembered how Matt had offered to help engineer his fake death without telling Nancy. Sure it would have prevented Nancy from having to keep a secret but he told his sister everything. Keeping from telling her who'd been helping him had been really difficult and it was only because he'd said that his informant preferred to remain anonymous. Would it be possible that the brothers were working separately? Nah, that's too unlikely, they probably are working together. I'm just being stupid now. Kujo calmed down a bit though he would only fully calm down when he was out of this place and far away from the needle and out of the giant chunk of ice. "Honestly, I don't know. Where are you taking me? I was here because the Unown decided they wanted to come here to talk to you. They got parts of the prophecy mixed up again."


I wonder if the security cameras are working again? Oooooo there's a fancy thingy over there, is that a computer of some kind? Do you think a micorawavae would warm us up? It warms up things like a fire right? The Unown failed to grasp the gravity of the situation as they talked amongst themselves. And the basic concept of a microwave entirely escaped them, it wasn't even a microwave but a panel on a door leading to the labs..
