"A click?" He tilted his head curiously. "Hold on a sec." Before heading over to the table, Ryan snatched up the cloth again, ignoring the horrid scent coming off of it. After all, it was still 'evidence.' Maybe.
"Scoot over a little." He gave her a slight tap on her shoulder, before getting down onto the floor and sliding himself under the table with her. "What were you doing when you heard the click?" He asked curiously.

"Ami would murder you in your sleep if you caused permanent damage." On that same note, though, Ami would kill Lex for dropping Marcus.
Either way, they would both die.

Random Artist Her hands kept moving under the table as she talked but she ended up hitting her head as she tried to lean up a little bit. There was the same click though once again nothing opened up. Bloodlust Dante was trying to feel for a way to grip onto the grating panel and its open slots. The grates folded downwards, making it very easy to wedge a finger in there and leave it stuck for a very long time, short of peeling off all the skin from the top of their fingers.

Wherever there was some kind of suspicious activity, Rep usually ended up around. He couldn't help it, he was just drawn to mystery in inexplicable ways and it had absolutely nothing to do with investigating other people's means of murder and comparing them against potential misdemeanours in future.
"So looks like the whole ******** circus is here." he said aloud to Harrison, intentionally loud enough that anyone could hear him. Because he was lovely like that.
"No one better scream Eureka." he said with a snort to Melvin. "Doesn't that usually ******** end with someone running around in the scud?"
He made a beeline of course, straight for the table.
"What kind of ******** weak a** hunter can't even break a ******** table?"

OnionGrump Ryan snatched up the cloth again, ignoring the horrid scent coming off of it. , making it tampered with. It is the same cloth as it has always been, a dirty, used cloth that has ??? stained on it, smelling of alcohol and possibly stale grapes.

She heard it again as Ryan came-- but the male's presence heightened her nervousness and made her forget where it was. Oh, drats.
"I was.. pretty much running my hand across everything?" Saya said, shaking her head as she realized she was giving Ryan the most unhelpful comment. She tried to ignore the scent Ryan had coming from his hand, scooting over but making sure to keep her green scarf on her neck.
"Why dont we start from the center and expand out, you to the left and Ill head the right? We'll check table legs along the way-- Maybe we need to hit multiple spots before something happens."
Saya started on the pressing the center of the table, slowly making her way right, checking the legs and corners.
And then she heard Rep.
"Dont break it on us--- I dont think it's breakable and we might have found something.. Uh, can you just wait.. a bit.. before trying to.. break it?"

Random Artist pressing the center of the table, slowly making her way right, checking the legs and corners. As she pressed her fingers against the center of the table, there was a soft thunk again. It was too bad the center of the table was rather large.

"Hey Saya." She lifted her hand, waving lightly in greeting.
Stepping away from the shards of glass on the floor, Kat moved to inspect the back of the door, because well, they might as well look everywhere. Though she highly doubted that there would be anything there, especially when everyone had walked in would have likely seen it by now. Oh well, some time to kill.

Ami had assumed the note was a summons, not an optional "adventure." So when she found a bunch of hunters in the room, crawling across every open surface, she slapped a hand to her face.
"Did nobody even think about fingerprints?" she grumbled, rubbing the bridge of her nose. It was just like the hunters to barge in some place and start wrecking it, no consideration or trepidation whatsoever.
With a sigh she turned to the first group of hunters she knew. The grate, which a few hunters were working on unscrewing, but it seemed to have the least number of people. Leon, Jason, Deryk- was that Solia? Maybe the grate wasn't such a good option.
"Is there something of interest behind the grate, or were you three just heading into it with no plans whatsoever," she commented idly, waiting for the three to notice her.

Well, Leon for one was stumped. there was enough room to get a hold on the grating, but even to his damaged addled brain, did not seem smart to try and yank. It was however time to suck it up and ask for help. "Theres a piece of paper stuck behind this damn grating, I need some help getting this off without causing a lot of damage, or to at least get this paper." he spoke up to Ami.
before muttering under his breath. 'and my belt back." At least people here knew that his belt was lost during the investigation and he wasn't a suspect.
He hoped.

Lucky made the effort to show up. However, aside from standing just inside the doorway, he was more of an obstacle than anything.
He just watched everyone scurry around for a while while he tried to come up with a not completely terribly reason why there was a room half-covered in blood here.

Rep snatched the cloth out of the air mid way, and eyed it critically, giving it a sniff.
"On your man period Marcus?" he said with a grin.
Saya got another smug look. "And don't have a ******** fit on me, I'm no gonnae break it. Its a big ******** table and summoning Tracey in here I'd be picking wankers off my blade for weeks."
