Melvin could tell he was getting on Jordan's nerves, probably because he was flustering up Ro, and looked back as the man helped out by cleaning the mug Ro broke. Fixing everyone else's mess - no wonder he worked with Rep. At the question, Melvin tensed, his amused expression turning flat. "The type that doesn't ask questions and is quiet." He said, making it a point to look at Jordan before looking at Ro.
"Have you asked her or attempted to make a move to see if she's remotely interested? Nothing is official till it's official, and you don't exactly have a career that lets you wait things out." He got up and went to refill his cup.

"Good thing you're not dating me, then," Jordan said, cheerfully and with malice aforethought. "That would never have worked out. I just like questions way too much." He dumped the broken mug into the trash and put the dustpan away, then sat back down, picking his own coffee cup back up.

"Well if that's what you like Melvin maybe you should take a note from those ideas and stop being so nosey your self." He didn't say anything regarding the career comment, he didn't want to dwell on that idea too long. It was depressing enough having the thoughts in the back of his mind about dying let alone having them brought to the forefront by Melvin's prodding.
"The difference about your questions Jordan is you know when to stop bothering people about it." He was now coffeeless, grumpy, and depressed all at once. Coffee break was now becoming coffee-fail.

"Good thing too. There is a lot of competition for your attention it seems, Jordan." He said with a smile, drinking his coffee. He noticed the air was becoming a bit sour and he looked to both of them.
"You are forgetting something. I ask, but I never force you against your will to answer. That's your choice. You only give what you decided to tell me. You two are just too polite to tell me to ******** myself." Why would he stop asking when they were too polite to not answer?
"You just wind yourself up too easily. I just asked you who you like. If anything, just be glad I'm polite enough not to ask even more evasive questions." To which he continued to sip his coffee.
"So for this lounge. Did you have ideas of what you wanted to place in it? I imagine something that the Sun's can vent their frustrations but not enough to tear down the entire building."

"You might get better results asking questions if you're willing to reciprocate a little," Jordan said, mostly neutrally.
Subject change was a good idea. "Sturdy furniture," he answered. "Going to request that people not take out their frustrations indoors; I figure we can get some dummies set up outside or something. It's just too easy to destroy things if you're not thinking about it. Especially for us heavy weapons users. I've put plenty of dents in things without meaning to."

Melvin had him there, but nagging him over and over what else was he going to do? He twisted away from him in his seat huffing softly. "Well... fine. Whatever Melvin."
Instead he just kind of grew quiet letting them talk about the plans for Jordan's lounge. Instead he stuck for looking moody and grumpy because that just about summed him up at that moment.
It also didn't help Melvin was right about just asking Nevada where they stood.

"Dummies are a good idea. I can see people wanting to start things and I've seen the weapons that some hunters have now. If they could even manage to swing it, it could destroy some valuable objects that people spent their time to get. I think a kitchen would be nice for all those who cook. I wouldn't mind hosting another holiday that wasn't just some room in the cafeteria."
Melvin glanced over and looked over at Ro. "Come on, Ro. If you keep pouting, I'll never share my coffee with you. You should be perkier." He teased, smiling.

"Rule one, no summoning indoors. Rule two, you break it, you fix it, no waiting for the Moons to do it for you," Jordan said, smirking a little. "Gonna wait on a kitchen till we see if that works, though. I don't want to have to pay to get small appliances runiced more than once if I can help it. And that's all pending actually getting the school cleared out and repaired. I'm hoping nothing comes up to destroy everything yet again in the next few weeks." He reached over and rapped on the coffee table. He angled an eyebrow at Melvin. "You just harassed him into spilling some uncomfortable secrets, give the man another minute to pout before issuing terrible ultimatums. I mean, really? Condemning a relatively innocent person to cafeteria coffee? That's diabolical."

Roland shifted in his seat looking at Melvin frowning just a bit, nodding towards Jordan in agreement with his last statement. Mostly the part about coffee cafeteria.
"I think it'll be fine Jordan, your plan that is." He shifted about, "Blame Jordan though, about why I'm upset. It was his advice. Finding someone to care about in this place. I just...I don't know. This place has more people that i care about then most of my life."
