xxxxxThe teens eyes opened instantly at the sound of a female's voice. He looked up to see a woman with her face covered by one of the masks that marked all ANBU. He stared at her for a moment before remembering he was wearing nothing but a towel beneath the waters. His hands automatically moved to cover himself over top of the towel as though he believed she could see through both the water and the material that covered him. "Seeing as how I just came from the Hospital and sterilized myself inside and out, I doubt that's the real issue here. You do realize this is the male's area? Even if you aren't technically inside of it, I'm sure adding Peeping Tina to your record wouldn't be a good thing." If the steam from the water hadn't made his face already, he was sure he would have mottled cheeks at the moment.

Karuga dropped down the wall to the male's bath and shrugged, leaning against the wall. "That is of little concern to me. As per Lord Tozuki's laws, I, as an ANBU, am above the law, this goes for the hotspring as well. As for my record, well, I don't have one, little brother." She said. She was watching him carefully, crossing her arms as she grinned at him, though her expression would seem emotionless through her kitsune mask.

xxxxxWhen she dropped into the male's side of the barrier, he pressed himself up against the furthest side from her. Not because of fear, but out of embarrassment. Not even his mother had the gall to come in when he was bathing. Without seeing her expression, Dancer could only take her shrugging shoulders as a sign of nonchalance about his accusation. His assumption was quickly solidified into a fact when she spoke once more. "Above the law? You're an ANBU aren't you? You're supposed to protect the rules, not break them as you see fit. And sorry to disappoint nameless - faceless lady but I'm an older child. Pretty sure my mom would have loved to have a daughter instead of me though. You're welcome to take my place when she goes through another of her 'I must put your hair up in bows and pigtails' phases though." His snarky comments usually got him unappreciative stares, but with this one, there would be no way to tell if he'd be getting the back of a hand at any point.

"Alright then, pretty boy. Since you don't like your hair being messed with by mother, I'll fix it so next time your hair is too short to be messed with~" She said, reaching down and grabbing most of his hair in on grab. She gathered the rest of it up before pulling out a kunai and holding it to the strands about an inch from his scalp. "Would my little brother like that?" She asked, keeping a firm grip on his hair and keeping it taut.

xxxxxAs soon as he realized what it was the woman was going to try to do, he reached upwards to stop her. Unfortunately, she was much stronger than him, and gripped his hair tightly so that he couldn't get away. As he saw her withdraw a kunai to cut his hair, his green eyes widened, and he pulled even harder to get away even with feeling his scalp screaming for him to stop while trying to grip the female's wrist to push it away. "HELL no I wouldn't like it! How about keeping both your eyes and hands on the girls' side of the line called 'private space'. Dang didn't your mama ever teach you manners?" Even with his bolstered speech, the frantic edge in his voice would have given away that he was not as put together as he desperately tried to seem. At this point even his attempt at hiding himself below the waterline had been forgotten. He didn't need decency when he had a crazy woman with sharp objects pointed at his head.

She asked, pressing the blade deeper into his hair. There was a single strand of braiding that fell before she sighed and stepped back, onto the stone flooring. "Very well. I'll tell mother later that you refused help. Now, get dressed, we got work to do." She said, her playful side near instantly snapping into a serious one.

xxxxxHis body turned rigid as she spoke his name. He hated his first name nearly as much as he disliked the idea of having a spur of the moment haircut. His eyes followed the braid that fell before him as she moved away. Even as she spoke, he didn't move an inch. He gripped the braid and touched where it had fallen from. Filled with disbelief, he finally tuned in to what it was the woman was saying. Standing up in the water, his towel falling away in the process with the weight of the water it was soaked with being too much for it to have stayed in place. Seething at the girl, he threw the long strand of braid at her feet before flipping her off and leaving in all his bare glory. He'd have nothing to do with the woman who had no sense of what was right and wrong to do to someone she didn't know. Even if she had his name because of the Kage himself he wouldn't follow her like a puppy because of it. She deserved no respect from him. He didn't bother drying himself as he slipped his pants on and started to walk out with his vest in his hands.

He didn't utter a single word as he went to leave. A dark expression crossed her face before she drew a shuriken and threw it past his head, zipping past his face and activating the genjutsu she had placed on it. She began a strand of hand seals, before she slapped her palms to the ground, erecting a barrier made of glass between him and the only exit. Slowly, the glass changed, turning into a mirror. "I told you we have work to do." She said darkly. To him, her voice would be perceived as a male's as the mirror cleared up, revealing him with a more feminine frame and girlish looks.

xxxxxMore girlish looks didn't mean much with his already pretty face, but his jawline was far more rounded than it was before. Seeing as how he had yet to put his vest on, his new upper assets were on display. The new voice he heard was different than the woman's voice. Was it a stranger? No. Because the voice reiterated what the woman had said. As he looked into the face of a young girl his age in front of him, he forced himself to keep his eyes on the 'girl's' head. Though, he wasn't made of stone and took a quick glance before turning around to try and find the person who did this. "What the hell do you want? Can't you just leave me alone? Or do you plan on further humiliating me and messing up anything else I'm proud of?" he yelled at her in a girlish chime. It wasn't doing anything but making him look like a ticked off little sister who had her favorite shirt taken by her older sister and stained. It was cute, but not threatening in any way.

To him however, he appeared female, and Karu appeared male. Karuga seemed to be more sturdily built. 'He' had broader shoulders and a squarer jawline. "Calm down, little brother. It's a simple genjutsu... We got off on the wrong foot, my name is Karu... You may call me Karu." She said walking forward, dispelling the mirror barrier.

xxxxxThe Hawthorn boy scoffed at Karu's sudden change of attitude towards him. Starting off on the wrong foot was about the furthest thing from what he'd call this little episode between them. "Well you can take your foot and shove it right up your-OW!" he started to whimper. He had taken a step forward and kicked the side of one of the benches in the dressing room. Guess that's what he got for going against what his mother raised him up knowing. Never speak ill of a lady, no matter how rude they were to you. Still, he refused to play niceties with a woman who hadn't even apologized for overstepping her boundaries.

She couldn't help but giggle as he stubbed his toe, kicking a bench. "Don't hurt yourself over me. And if you keep up the hostilities towards me, I'm going to treat you like the younger brother you are and punish you. Should they continue further, our mission will not get done and I'll be forced to take you in for questioning." Karu said, tone changing from light hearted to threatening as she pulled out a shuriken.

Maybe he never should have come out of the hospital in the first place. Especially if this was going to happen often now that he was a Genin. "Tch, like you need me to get a mission done. Besides that, if you know my name you should also know I don't quite get along with others. Especially bossy prissy girls like yourself. He rubbed his throbbing foot for a few seconds before speaking a little more evenly. "What mission are you talking about anyway. I was never given one." At least, not that he remembered.

xxxxxExperience? Couldn't they have found someone with better people skills than this chick? Once she had released the Genjutsu off of him and he felt at least a little more comfortable in his own skin, he shoved his vest over his head and strapped up the sides. It was only after he tugged out all his braids from within and he was sure there wasn't any still stuck beneath it that he turned his green-eyed gaze to her again. "Was it 'Karu' he said? I thought it was Haru. As in a guy. Besides that, who said I was finished with training? Weren't you paying attention back there, I was practicing a Jutsu on my own time. Either you're slow on the uptake or way too eager to spend the day with an underage boy."
