 The kick to his back connected, and Talon was forced to roll over onto his side, as the pain was starting to get to him. He then then rolled to the ropes, using them to help him stand, but that would be useless as just as he got to a knee next to the ropes he was clocked with the roundhouse, sending him back to the canvas.

Griffin would then attempt to set Talon's neck across the bottom rope and then step hard on the back of his head and push it down hard against the ropes.

Talon's head was draped over the bottom rope, as he neck was just about literally stuck between a rock and hard place. Once Jacob's foot was pressing down, Talon began to wildly kick and swing, hitting nothing but canvas and air as he fought for air. With the illegal hold on, the ref began the five count.

Griffin would run the count to a four before lifting his foot up just enough to break the count before attempting to choke Talon with the rope again.

Just when talon thought the worst was over, again he was made to wildly swing and kick as he struggled for air. Once again the ref began to five count.

The bell rings as Jacob Griffin keeps his foot planted on the back of his former rival's head. The ref shouts for him to get away from Talon, telling Jacob that the match was over already. Jacob had red in his eyes however as he pushed harder, trying to choke Talon out. The ref ripped Griffin away from his fallen opponent as other officials rushed to the ring and began pulling him away from Talon and towards the ropes. Jacob tried to push past them as the original referee was helping Talon to his feet, but he was finally coaxed out of the ring. Talon got to his feet and stood in the middle of the ring as his music began to play, but it was quickly cut off as Jacob had gotten away from the officials and rushed back into the ring. Talon and Jacob began exchanging blows back and forth. Talon then throws a big hook, clipping Jacob on the side of the head and went to follow up with another, but Jacob was able to duck under it and get behind Talon. Jacob Griffin scooped up his opponent and drove him to the mat with a Thunder Bay Driver (Blue Thunder Driver). Jacob stood over Talon and spit down near his head before starting to stomp his body. He finally let up only to drop another old signature move on Talon, the Canadian Elbow (Pendulum Elbow). Jacob Griffin got to his feet and taunted the fallen Bird of Prey and the fans who at this point filled the air with boos. Jacob began to make his exit, but Talon stirred on the ground and this prompted him to go back and finish the job. Jacob Griffin dragged Talon to his feet and set him up in the Uranage position, lifting him in the air and dropping his back across his knee. Jacob then quickly made his exit as Talon laid still on the mat. (TheXFactor gave me the ok to write out this ending.)

As Jacob made his way to the back, Talon began to stir on the mat. Once he came to, and the adrenaline had stopped pumping he felt the real pain from the encounter. He began to clinch at the left side of his ribs. He continued to cough up a steam, with each escape of air pain shot through his side. The Officials then began to help Talon to his feet.

Knowing there was nothing she could do at this point, as if she were going to get directly involved in the match, Ariel moved out of the way as Jacob Griffin made his way backstage. Ariel then rushed to the ring to check up on Talon, maybe her presence will bring back some sort of life in him, and be able to walk out mostly on his own. Ariel asks, "Are you okay?"

Once Talon was to his feet, he could hear a familiar voice. It was Ariel, a bit shocked that she be out here, thinking to himself that he must of left some kind of impression cause she seemed concerned for his well being. "Yea- agh.. Yeah I'm good." Talon said as two officials held him up, while he kept one arm wrapped around his ribs. Little did he know, that from the attack he suffered three cracked ribs and a bruised lung. He would find this out later when Medical would do they're post match exam. The Officials helped Talon to the rope as he struggled to climb out of the ring, through in pain he managed to do it. When he climbed down the apron two more Officials were there waiting for him to help him up the ramp and two the back.

Ariel was relieved Talon was okay, and at least conscious enough to respond to her. Ariel kept a hand at her lip, as Talon was able to step out of the ring, Ariel stayed closely behind the officials, as she didn't want to get in the way... But close enough to show that she was concerned for his well-being. Eventually they all make it backstage, and the show continues on with the next match.
