Personality:
Though he is the runt of the litter, he was babied by his parents (especially by his father Rustlefoot, who was charmed by his son's very similar appearance to himself), and despite the sparsity of food during the winter he was born in, he managed to come out of it alright. He does not let his slightly smaller size act as a damper to his spirit and seems to understand that strength does not necessarily come with size or power.

Given these facts, Kim is a bit of a brat, all things considered. He loves nothing more than a good warm den and being with family, and the thought of change scares him. He tries to be loyal, and loves his family, though he can he a bit clingy sometimes.

How he views his family:
He loves his parents and is quite close to his father, sharing many of his perspectives on life. Kimthile is a good deal more outspoken than Rus is, however, and perhaps a bit more likely to put his foot down or hold grudges.

Kim sees his brothers' defection as betrayal and is deeply upset by it. This upset will turn to anger eventually, even though there were plenty of good reasons for leaving Watership Down when the opportunity arose. The heart of the issue is that he misses his brothers deeply, but also believes that they were wrong in leaving the warren and their parents, regardless of what Rus tries to tell him.

What now?
Kim will remain in WD after a tumultuous disagreement/fight with his brothers (Drift and Notch) and will probably funnel his frustration and anger into something constructive. He may try to become a runner, but whether or not he'll be successful at this is unknown (for now) and he will have a heightened interest in protecting the warren from outsiders.
