Siska was a warrior. Rugged, rough, trained. That's probably why when a little creature popped into her tent and began to gnaw on one of her older furs, she let out a dignified yelp.
Rough and rugged.
She tossed a half finished wood carving at it's head, but it just blinked and bobbed.

She clenched her fists and kicked a boot at the thing, not wanting to get any closer lest it creepy crawled all over her.

"Augh," she stomped her foot as the thing continued to chew methodically. Luckily the fur was old and tattered, but she had little left to her name anymore. She'd like to keep what she could.
She kicked a rock in it's direction, and it hissed at it hit it in the eye.

While it was distracted she snatched the fur from it's mouth. It's whined piteously and bobbed around, searching for it's next meal.

The next thing to go sailing into the thing's head was a thick leather-bound book. Siska cheered and pumped her fists as the thing twirled with the impact, screeching.
"Yeah, take that!"

Books seemed to be the weapon of greatest efficiency on this creature, so Siska hefted another large tome. She didn't have many, but the few books she did have would have to do.
She sent it flying at the thing like before, and this time it knocked into it so hard that the creature sprawled onto it's back, antennae still twitching.

AND THEN JING WOKE UP. "What a sensational nap." if it wasn't for the dreams that plagued him that is, visions of days past that was no more, a lingering memory as it were. the tiny beasts that sat on his chest was not something the artisan boil expected.
More so when it tried to hug his face.
HUGGING. HIS. FACE. "Sweet mercy, get off I say." Jing called out, pushing the indecent thing from his face. He had a complexion to worry about.

The creature didn't get up, it just twitched feebly where it had fallen. Siska, in a fit of bravery, inched closer, reading to curb stomp a b***h if it moved. She peered as close as she dared, and then it twitched again and she whined high in her throat and scampered away.

Rude awakening very much, it was not the way that Jing enjoyed greeting the day.
Even if it was late afternoon. Thank the gods that Ying was not around to wake him up. With the pitter patter of little shadow feet, It dawned on him that. "Where is Ying anyways?" she was gone. She was a workaholic and there was still things left out to be fixed.
It made no sense. Just like the creature picking up a ball of yarn and swallowing it whole. "stop that." the boil insisted, swatting at the creatures possible bum.

The horseboil wondered why that thing was here, trying to eat every little bit of scrap in the tent. the notion that maybe Ying was changed into this did entertain his brain for awhile. "Well there was that time when i became an adorable little foxfire thing." he paused, giving it careful thought.
"But Ying would never try and eat our material- HEY PUT THAT NEEDLE DOWN!" he stopped, raising his voice at the thing and took the needle away and gave it another spanking.
Just in case it was someone's lost mini, it had to be dealt with in non lethal terms. It was very tiresome though.

The little beast was not taking well to his demure ways of punishment to Jing's dismay. It only took the strike and hissed before going off to cause more mischief.
The swats became more powerful, the hand getting heavier with the concussive blows. or at least it would if it didn't run off behind a pile of dresses.

Was it looking for clothes to wear maybe?
"i don't have anything in your size, uhh.. mr?" Jing asked curiously, watching it tilt his head in a odd manner before continuing its rummaging. Nope. it was not allowed to touch the garments so rudely, scratching and clawing the material apart.
This time it was a fist that connected with its wiry form.
