Quote: Location: The Shop || Sylvester + Angelus + Alala + Tiwaz + ??? (( If you wanted to hop in again before me, Silent, I'm happy to erase this, even though I tried not to do much. whee )) We'll do? Sylvester's smile widened as Alala settled herself. He found he wasn't as nervous as he once would have been around new people. Perhaps it was because he was bigger than this girl and knew how to run away. But was he as fast as a horse? He wrung his hands for a second before spreading them out on the cushions next to his legs. This was ridiculous. She wasn't going to chase him anywhere. "I'm Sylvester," he replied with a nod.
By the time the door opened for the third time, Sylvester had no idea what to expect. He found he wasn't really surprised by the purple-haired, winged, black iris-retina-whatevered girl or her cheerful greeting. He raised his hand in a short wave and sank back into the sofa.

Quote: Location: Barton Town - Fountain || Armel + ?? (Feel free to join despite what is written. Just setting up his state of mind. <3) He was downright ornery for the most part. Dark circles under his eyes showing that though he slept it wasn't the kind of sleep that allowed rest. Armel could make any real connections, but then he didn't really want talk either at least not at the moment.
The ram-horned elf boy caused just enough chaos at home to allow himself to sneak out unnoticed. Sure someone'd come for him sooner or later, he did leave a note of sorts. He didn't feel right just leaving that wasn't responsible.
Armel walked through Barton ignoring odd looks from adults. When he got to the fountain he stopped and just plopped down there with his back to the grained stone surface and just listened to the water. It was a lucky thing that Barton was a small and fairly easy going town, and not quite so... inhabited.
Today hardly anyone lingered at the fountain, it was a slow day even for this town. Now that he had found a 'resting' spot he just stared at the ground between his feet then his mind began to linger before again settling upon that strange the dream he had. What did it mean? What did it have to do with anything...Did it mean no matter how hard he tried he was bound and doomed to fail? Hot tears welled up in his eyes and he angrily wiped at his eyes with a small growl.
Great. Crying in public. What next?

Quote: Location: Barton Town - Fountain || Armel + Chieko Meng Ue (Feel free to join despite what is written. Just setting up his state of mind. <3) "Aiiiiiiiyaaaaa...." The sound of a woman's voice was suddenly next to him, and the rustling of fabric from her skirt could be heard, and a blurt of chinese followed after a sigh. "How can they sell rock candy so cheaply?! Makes me buy far too much." The woman pushed some bright pink hair behind her ear, and she rolled her pink eyes. Of course, there was plenty of fountain for everyone, without any need to sit right next to the unhappy little boy, but she seemed not to care. She exaggeratedly rustled the bag of candy resting on her lap, and sighed again "But oh, if I had someone to share it with, maybe it would be better." Pink eyes slide to watch the boy next to her, smiling a little bit.

Quote: Location: Barton Town - Fountain || Armel + Chieko Meng Ue + ?? Armel almost jolted out of his skin at the woman suddenly being next to him. Though amazingly the boy managed to just barely keep his cool and went still for a moment definately trying to dam up his emotions now.
Should be nice. Da says bein' nice t'women is important...But women are so ... girly!
Was she talking to or about him? Was she making the offer of candy to him? He felt her eyes on him. Armel turned his own gaze toward the woman, just barely seeming to glimpse at her.
Ye Gods. She's all sorts o'pink!
Amusement crept slowly into his face now, his sadness forgotten for the moment. He seemed to coyly look away smirking while wiping the tear residue from his face, "Aye, well lil'uns like me should'nuh take candies from strangers. T's a shame." He replied airly and with much wit ... So he felt.

((Don't worry Smerdle. xd The post is fine. 3nodding )) Quote: Location: The Shop || Sylvester + Angelus + Alala + Tiwaz +? (come on in...) Angelus could see the surprise in the giraffe's face and smiled. "Yes he did. Silent is always emotional when she sees the two of us together." He remembered the time his mother nearly suffocated him and Jiro with a hug. That woman definately had some power in her.
Angelus looked towards the female centaur. "A woman? well, the only woman that runs this place is Huni and her appearances here a bit flighty." He nodded to the girl.
He smiled and introduced himself. "If Sylvester and I can help, feel free to ask." He poinited to the giraffe and himself. "I'm Angelus by the way. I've really seen you around." He pointed out.
As he waited for her response the door jingled again. His eyes went to the door and a familiar face stepped through the entrance. "Tiwaz! It's nice to see you again. What are you doing here?" he asked the female.

Quote: Location: Barton Town - Fountain || Armel + Chieko Meng Ue + ?? She smiled more when he looked up at her, then blinked when he refused the candy. Her shoulders drooped a little bit, some of her pink bangs falling over an eye "Well, I'm not that strange.... And my name is Chieko Meng Ue. I live near Gambino Isle, my favorite color is not pink, despite what I may look like, it's green, and I love riding my bike all over the place." She grined a bit as she introduced herself. "There, I'm not such a stranger now, hmmm?" She pulled a stick of rock candy out of the bag. It was brillantly blue, looking like chunks of clear crystal clustered on the stick.

"Flighty?" -That was funny, she hadn't remembered wings on the women.. but then, she hasn't seen her for very long. Dismissing the thought she shoke her head simply.-
"It's okay, I don't need help really."
-Grining happily at the well taken greeting of the other two, she turned lightly to look as another entered, a girl this time. Watching her curiously Alala's tail flicked with a mild contentment as the social synapses of her brain worked in overdrive.-

Quote: Location: Barton Town - Fountain || Armel + Chieko Meng Ue + ?? She smiled a bit when he once agian refused the candy. Someone had taught him very well not to accept things from strangers, even though she had no intention of hurting him, and had indeed bought far too much candy. Oh well, it wasn't like rock candy went bad or anything. She just ate far too much of it at once, being weak willed when it came to sweets. "This is true, though you seem to be a very smart little boy." She tucked the candy back into the bag, not taking a piece out for herself. She found it rude to eat candy in front of someone who was unable to enjoy a piece himself, so she vowed to eat a piece later. "Though, to sneak away? Either you are adventurous, or you don't particularly like it at home...?" She queried gently, sounding as though it wasn't important if he answered her or not, or even if he was honest. She swung her legs back and forth a bit, letting her heels hit the stone of the fountain gently, as she looked up at the sky "So, if you like craftin' and such, and your favorite colors are gray and orange, do you make a lot of gray and orange things?" She glanced back at him, and noticed he seemed to be getting tired.

Quote: Location: Bass'ken Lake || Characters: Vidya + Lance + Elena + Tybalt + ??? Elena smiled gracefully at Tybalt and offered him a little bow as a greeting - she wasn't wearing a dress today, or she would have curtsied. "Vidya's told me a bit about you," she said to him after the blue skinned girl had introduced him. "I'm glad I didn't wear all of my bracelets," Elena continued with a laugh, raising her wrist up, where a silver bracelt adorned with coins and jewels dangled. Always polite, always graceful, Elena told herself mentally. A princess should be gracious to everyone, even pirates. Perhaps unfortunately, Elena wasn't able to ask Vidya about her bad dreams, since Lance had arrived. Who promptly made Elena blush. Lance, of course, was bigger than the last time she'd seen him - even though she herself had grown, he was still taller then her. As flustered as she was, however, Elena was a princess, and that subconscious knowledge and training came to the fore. "You seem to have grown as well," she said in a teasing tone as she held her hand out for him to take, blushing a little more at the second part of his statement. "You look...well," she continued somewhat diplomatically, as the dragon looked like he was driving himself to exhaustion. "It's good to see you as well," Elena murmured, offering Lance a bow as well while cursing her lack of a skirt to do a proper curtsy with.

Quote: Location: Barton Town - Fountain || Armel + Chieko Meng Ue + Nalira + ?? Nalira yawned and muttered incoherent words under her breath as she wandered through Barton. Dark circles had formed under her eyes, signifying that she hadn't slept in days, along with how sluggishly she walked. She screwed her nose up and squinted at the sun as it came into view, bringing her hands together gingerly. As she walked her mind wandered, lingering on many thoughts before settling on the strange dream she had a few nights ago. Heck, she always had strange dreams, but this was different somehow. But exactly what was different? She just couldn't put her finger on it, not to mention she could hardley remember what had happened. Letting out an exhasperated sigh, Nalira ignored the impatient pushes and shoves from bypassers, cringing at their mumbled profanities. Sneering, she spat on the ground, then hesitated. She turned around, tilting her head - she knew that voice. She frowned, scratching her ear gently, moving towards the familliar sounds. She stopped infront of the Fountain, narrowing her eyes and taking a seat on the edge. She swung her feet over the edge idly, sighing and twisting around to dip her hands into the water, still listening intently to the barely audible conversation. Maybe she was imagining things, maybe no one was talking at all. Hesitantly, she looked up, only to see Armel standing with another woman - who wore a hell of a lot of pink - she didn't recognize. "Armel." Nalira stated a little too happily, automatically moving from the edge of the fountain to greet her friend. She looked from Armel to the unfamilliar woman, raising an eyebrow skeptically. She smiled, giving a polite - if not ignortant - wave, before turning her attention back to Armel.

Quote: Location: The Shop || Sylvester + Angelus + Alala + Tiwaz + ??? Oh, they knew each other. Tiwaz was this new girl's name? She seemed nice. The little centaur was awfully quiet. As a matter of fact, so was he. "My mother couldn't seem to get away from me fast enough at first," Sylvester told the other boy with a chuckle. "But I've had my fair share of hugs now too."
He looked at the girls. He would have offered to play a game, but what kinds of games did tiny girls play with kids like him? This would have been so much easier a couple of weeks ago.

Quote: Location: Barton Town - Fountain || Armel + Chieko Meng Ue + Nalira + ?? He scrunched his nose at Chieko's comment, "Smart 'nough t'know better I guess." The boy grinned at the woman and then shook his head, "Naw, I love it at 'ome. M'Da is there an' Tyr. An'..Well, I love m'family, it is just hard t'be alone sometimes. I think I'mma ask Da about gettin' me a sanctuary made when I get home." He paused as he realized how that sounded, "No' that I dinn'ae enjoy meetin' ye Ma'am."
At being asked about his crafting and color preferences combined he shook his head, "Nay! That don' do well if'n ye want ter make original things. Everythin' a man makes in a workshop needs t'be special in someway. Replicas and same colors just suck yer imagination dry sometimes." Armel shrugged, it made enough sense to him.
He sad in silence until he heard his name called by a familiar voice. When he looked toward it he saw .. NALIRA?! He seemed to brighten greatly then, "Nalira!" He replied to her and stood up straight and then his tone wavered toward a concerned note, "Ye doin' okay, Friend?"
Momentary and then he pointed at Chieko, "'Er name is Chieko, she's alright." He fancied himself a good judge of character.

Quote: Location: Barton Town - Fountain || Armel + Chieko Meng Ue + Nalira + ?? Chieko listened as Armel spoke, smiling softly. She didn't wear pink, actually, her hair and eyes were pink, and that was it. Her sweater was green, knitted, and her skirt was a dark denim blue. She was just about to open her mouth to respond, when the other person spoke Armel's name. She looked up at the other child, and smiled a little as he ran over to her, and stayed in her place. She smiled more when he said that she was alright, and resisted the urge to laugh, since he had already come to that conclusion so soon. It was quite a nice compliment to her.
